Giving the army of unemployed youths the needed education and training to tap into the resources of the nation and create jobs and wealth.
Are you aware of the millions/billions of dollars required in getting some of these resources out of the ground?

Even with education and training, the resources are not going to jump out of the ground by itself. The problem is that most of the today's youth are waiting for the govt to do for them while some other youths are taking their destinies into their forging new paths.

My take or opinion is that the govt should keep on creating conducive policies and environment that would open up more of the country for investors that are willing to take the risks and invest their money.

if na Naija when you see the condition of our Police 'Rapid' Response pickup coming to rescue you, you will feel like jumping back into the fire embarassed
Chai! Have lil faith in your country.. I had a personal experience on my back to naija arnd 2013 from a business trip and the one of the tires could not just come down and the pilot radioed ahead saying that he is going to do an emergency landing. Emergency vehicles were fully mobilized and tracked our plane until it landed and we dis-embarked.

So just have lil faith though i know things are not working the way it should be.

You have just stirred the hornet's nest!

"STATEMENT OF FACT", you said?

IT SHOULD ALSO BE TAKEN AS A STATEMENT OF FACT:
*that Anambra people are the problem of other Igbo people; they are egocentric, pompous, full of themselves (which they erroneously refer to as "swag"wink unfriendly, uncultured, uncut, etc.
*that most Anambra people WORSHIP MONEY; little wonder, 9 out of every ten Igbo person caught in any crime such as drug trafficking, armed robbery, yahoo-yahoo etc are from Anambra State.
*that Anambra people PRACTICE OCCUTISM more than any other Igbo state.
*that Anambra people hide under "business" while perpetrating various heinous crimes.
*that Anambra people are discriminatory, notwithstanding their level of learning, more than other Igbo states.
*that most Anambra people have never visited other Igbo states. They know very little about other places in Igbo land.

On a final note, DO NOT HIDE UNDER ANAMBRA to talk nonsense; tell us your village and I would know if you are qualified to boast about Anambra State. There are as many hungry people in most Anambra communities as there are elsewhere.

Hope you are not from Agulu, because my HOUSEHELP is from there? Hahaha!!! grin grin grin

So their continous silence is the best?
What would you have them do? Talk or condemn or what?

Talking without adequate influence in just like blowing hot air... The question i would ask is, do those men of God have enough influence in this country to sway opinions or get things done?

Nobody is asking you not to talk. However, do constructive criticism that will move Nigeria forward rather than talking anyhow..

Also, do the work you were elected to do or you can resign and take up opposition job full time..

We use swift 4g in my place (lagos) and these days since swift started this their double your data promotion, the internet hasn't been so good. But im sure its way better than spectranet. My issue with them now is that , in a day for like 2 hours i wont have any internet connection. And this occurs multiple times in a day. But between the hours of 1am and 7am, i get speeds of 1.3mbps which for some people its slow but in Nigeria here, thats really fast. I think their strategy is to find means of not allowing us to finish our data before it expires.
Bros! I finish that their bonus data...In their life, they wouldn't try that double data thingy again... infact, schedule my PS4 to download another 48GB game while i am at work.

Anyways, swift seems to be the most stable around my end (Palmgrove/Onipanu side).. Fast enough to handle what i need to download sha..

Very enlightening post. But seems like this means nothing to most.... they prefer to remain ignorant of the laws that protect them and be still wondering why companies continue to sack them. Like Coco law commented... the ignorance on this thread is staggering.
I won't blame them o! The relevant institutions that are supposed to enforce some of our laws had been bastardized and render inept for a long time hence most Nigerians are not aware of the laws that are designed to help and protect their rights.

As for me, i intentionally looked and read the Nigerian constitution and some of the other laws in order to know my rights. In fact, the day i saw the kind of powers that was vested in the Nigerian police...fear catch me o!

I believed that the OP should contact a labor lawyer as suggested by CoCoLav.
