Growing up I was a recluse and somehow I hated oppression and this is only when you hear me speak out. As an introvert, I avoided people the best I could but my friends who knew me wondered how I could be a chatter box around them but be a kill joy when with others. I hate chatting because I see it as impersonal and I love hearing people's voice even when I am not the one doing the talking. Reading through this thread, I have come to appreciate the journey we all have made. Thanks to who conceived this idea. It's awesome. |
Your use of suspense... I enjoyed the updates. Please if possible, do make them more frequent. |
collinometricx:No problem bossman. I just had to quote you because of the way it sounded (sensitivity and stuff). We keep waiting in hope. ✌️ |
collinometricx:At different times in our lives, life happens. Be kind to ask "what happened" before reaching a conclusion. He owes us nothing and he's doing this for nothing (his only gain would be betterment of self). Be kind. |
It's good to have you back. Thanks forgthe updates Kay. |
Parisian:I love the way you threw subtle jabs at my my gender and my person. I would have loved to have a civil discussion with u but I guess civility too is a thing of the past. |
Wahalaperson:This talk Sha... |
And we still get married every Saturday. I can't wait for that time when 7 women go dey drag to just answer your name... We don finally lose everything. |
How Nonye and Dayo mind go don streamline steamy sessions like my mind for do. Moura please do well to reduce the suspense by updating early before I will cry for u. Thanks Sir for the update. Sometimes its good to be vulnerable. |
This Olu of a guy is something else. E no dey even give himself time to heal before e jump into something new?. Nice one Kay. Very relatable. As young men growing up, we made this mistakes over and over. Many took is for rides and milked even the spoilt milk from us. Looking back, you can't just help but smile at how much we've grown. Thanks Man. |
Finally caught up and found out updates were no longer forthcoming. Thanks for the mention Op. This is a classic... Many people do not understand what the girl child goes through under sharia. Thanks for this as we await more updates. |
Damselposh I am happy to see a piece from u. This story brought back my uni days when we had to go to elders to ask them about the civil war and how the memories they carried about. I won't say they (Igbos) don't have a justified cause, I am just certain that there are better ways to emancipation without blood letting. We wait on u. |
Finally caught up. Moura I love the way you bring their perspective into the story. Please do not tarry. I have taken a space at the back. |
Mhiz I sight u. Thanks for the mention. I will join you guys soonest. |
Though I have not started reading, I must thank Herbedeen for the mention. Let me run back and start so I can catch up. |
Wow. Somehow each of your characters lost priceless possessions and non remained the same at the end of the novel. Silver you always find way to shock your readers. Thanks for this and it is good to finally complete it. More ink. |
Yey Kay don leave us for high tension. Please this thing that would change everything is what I am peeping for to read ooo. Nice one bro. Looking forward to it's completion and the beginning of year four. Cheers bro. |
Tutu was lucky. Nice one Kay. I can't believe these books were from 2019. |
In order to put 2 and 3 onto perspective, I had to come read 1 and I must say I wasn't disappointed. Kay u have a way of giving life to your characters. Thanks for this. Unto year two. |
Sam makes me feel like someone I know . Sam is not just introverted, but a loner and it makes interactions very hard. Once he forms a bond, he will never break it unless the other person leaves. Thanks Kay. More ink to ur pen. Sometimes I feel your writing not just as fiction but a part of life lived by someone. |
Hmmm. The way luck smiles at us in unusual circumstances. I am happy it's this piece that welcomed me to the literature section this year. Thanks Kay. |
Samrat01:I don't think she invest her time to this story (this could be my insensitivity though). This piece has taken too long. |
I have come to a conclusion that it takes a strong-willed individual to imbibe the tenets of this pill. |
I believe that gambling has become his addiction. Oh sorrow!!! |
So Samuel was beaten to a pulp(e never chi chum thing). Susan wants to join Amilo in her condition? I can't wait for the fear to get to Festus and Success (I heard fools(scared cats) die a thousand times before their death. Thanks Silver for the update. Keep them flowing. |
