URGENT INFORMATION: M.SC. PUBLIC HEALTH STUDENTS
The adjusted Timetable released yesterday by DEA shows that there won't be exams at all for all your courses as all the courses are not in the Timetable. Further inquiries thus far reveals that all exams have been shifted to 2021_1 Semester. Quite sad but that is the reality right now. Kindly contact your Study Centre for details.

ananne:
Please is mushin study center attending to those who want to pick their statement of result..

My name is on the 2020 convocation list and I want to go to school to pick my certificate or statement of result.

I am done with my clearance. Just to clear library remaining.

I want to go to Victoria island next week.

Any suggestions?

Why not wait and get your certificate since the convocation is around the corner?

doggedfighter:
Fighting or trying to adjust to feel more comfortable?

Abege, help me ask OP o. What does foetus know about fighting? At that stage, have they developed anger, such emotions?

DamZik:
Any Maths related course at PG level?

Select the Faculties one after the other and see the courses available.

DamZik:
Does the school has MSc in Mathematics?

Nope

decargne:
Good day everyone.
please I noticed that there is a mixup on my course registration.
EDA821 IS Statistical Methods1

while EDA 844 is Educational Statistics as confirmed on the timetable.

I am only supposed to register for EDA821 as indicated on my list of registerable courses which I have done but on my portal it is showing:
EDA821 as Educational Statistics.

I really don't know what to do.
please help

It's same course provided the course codes are the same. Your concern should be more of the course codes and not the differing course title.

Olamilite:
It's well. Why should student pay for the university's failure?

It's really something that need to be looked into. Let me cite a more sickening instance. A student enrolled for B.Sc. Environmental Science and Resource Management ESM (4 year course) and along the line in his second year, the course was changed to Environmental Resource Management and Toxicology (5year course) based on NUC. Now, the student got to 400L 1st semester. He did semester registration and saw no course available to register for. Meaning the course contents for 400L has not been developed. The student has lost this semester and maybe his 18k semester registration fee. Isn't that sad? I just hope some of these departments can buckle up and do the needful. Getting refund for their errors is always a hectic exercise.

Olamilite:
Most likely your TMAs may be saved and you may not need to re-register the courses for exam.

From experience, you are to repeat those TMAs. Unless you receive any further instructions officially not to redo them.

Mubaraqq:
Wait o, what happens to the TMA'S we've done for those courses, don't tell me we have to do them again?

All to be repeated sadly, my brother.

Mubaraqq:
I also sent several emails to them ,they just acknowledged receipt and nothing was done.
Does this mean I have to pay exam fees for those courses again whenever they're examinable?

Yeah, u will have to. Those 2k each is lost sadly.

Ronzy1990:
Please what does it mean when a course you are supposed to write is Noton the timetable?... Is the timetable Incomplete?

It's probably not examinable at all or not examinable this semester which means u may have to register the exams the next semester. For instance, there's this course for Political Science students. A 200L course. The students registered it while in 200L,it was not examinable. The registered again while in 300L, same thing. When they got to 400L, the course was then replaced with another course. These are some of the challenges some departments need to address.

Mubaraqq:
About 5 MPH courses are not on this exam timetable, how do we go about that?

From the first day the final timetable was released, the above complaint was forwarded to DEA. Even some students sent mails to School of Postgraduate Studies and till now, no response.
My advice: Study for only what's on the Timetable. When u are fully done with those courses before u think of studying the others because, most likely, they won't be any adjustments in that regards.

I think the first thing you will need is a certificate from a registered and recognised driving school.

Man's greatest enemy is himself.

Adedolapo2021:
Thanks so much!!! I've written the first two TMAs for GST 707. I really appreciate the help!

Please is the e-learning platform only for GST 707? Because I didn't see any of my other (PGD Education) courses there, although I have already successfully written the TMAs for those ones on the student portal.

Also, do you know of any WhatsApp or Telegram groupchat I can join so I don't miss out on crucial information like this, because you really saved me here, and I fear I may be uninformed of other things I should be doing.

The e-learn is for GSTs alone. Remember to do the TMA3 as an official info I got says all GST TMAs will close on 13th (not sure how true).
I don't know of Whatsapp groups or Telegram groups that can help u. Like you said, information is key to succeeding in NOUN. One of the perennial problems is distance between students and Study Centre. And the right information is necessary to bridge that gap. I have seen students who take first draft timetables as the final timetable miss exams. Try and as much as possible to have the right information at the right time.
Cheers bro.

Na wa o. If indeed you can control your sexual urge, you already won so many battles without a fight.

Noneroone:
It was subtly promoted. She only shouted in shock (without saying a word against it) being a Christian but Mustapha guy proudly justified the act by saying he did what most celibate guys do. That in my opinion promotes the act. Remember Muslims do not condemn it.

Yea, yea. You observed well.

On masturbation...
The lady felt disgusted at that habit of Mustapha. So, I can say, it wasn't really portrayed as a good thing in the movie.

I watched the movie yesterday as well on ROK2. You are quite correct on the above observations. But remember the untold story also was that the guy who mobilised against Mustapha said his people were killed in the North. It's a bit logical for an Igbo man whose parents were killed in the north to act in such rage! It wasn't a bad one in my view.
The most annoying is the part that a phone was locked and a detective didn't know about hi-tech options of getting it unlocked. It was another eyesore when the detective was also expressing the difficulty in determining the person who sent the SMS to the murdered girl just because the number was not saved in her phone. For God's sake, the movie plot was not portrayed to be in 1994! Those actually made everything looked stupid.

Could you please paste the link for that.

Adedolapo2021:
Good day everyone, and Happy New Year!!!

Please I need some information as I am panicking here. I was admitted into the PGD Education programme and I registered courses in November. However, since then, all I have really done is write the TMAs 1 & 2 (although I didn't see my score for GST 707's TMA 1 after writing it, and GST 707 TMA2 was not available).

Basically, I would like to know if there is anything I should be doing that I am currently not doing, like attending some sort of tutorial classes or forums, or doing some other assignments or assessments (apart from the TMAs).

Please, I feel like I may be missing out on some things and I don't want to be shocked on exam day

Are u sure u did your GST TMA? It's done on the NOUN Elearn site.

Dave0116:
The window for upload didn't come up. After inserting my RRR and clicking on submit it returns me back to the same page asking for the RRR

OK.

Dave0116:

Pls treat as urgent as I want to complete the process tomorrow.

Please compress your documents till it is less than 1mb. Try and upload and revert. Cheers.

Yampotatocarrot:
Good day, please, does NOUN have admission window for M.Sc, or can one apply at any time, even now?

Also, will I ever get to meet my classmates or I'll just be flying solo? How exactly is it done? Also, where can I find fees for M.Sc programs on their website

Thanks

Well, admission is almost anytime but registration has timeline. Meaning u can have admission and not able to register until registration is open.
The mode of operation is Distance Learning. When u register, you are provided with your course materials for you to study. There's no physical classroom. Your tests are online but exams are at the study centres although during the pandemic, the University conducted virtual exams but we are not sure if that will continue when the pandemic is over.

For further information go to www.nou.edu.ng

anu3:
It's okay now, thanks. The online process was not going through at first.

Sorry, can I still meet up with this semester, if I finish the admission process anytime soon; or I should just wait till next semester?

Second, can I get through the screening process without my transcript? (I guess not; and which may delay the process).
Thanks.

A new semester registration is already going on which means u can proceed to register now. But you won't be writing the coming exams as the exams is for those that registered in the already closed semester.
Yes, you don't need transcripts unless you are applying for Ph.D where it is compulsory.

majamajic:
Martial over Cavani , ole na amateur coach

Cavani is on suspension. Don't forget his three (3) match ban for that Instagram post.

anu3:
Hello everyone! Please, when can I possibly enroll for the course of my choice online? I have tried to fill and submit the online form a couple of times, but it kept saying "Failed to send email". I am not very sure if the registration is still available or not.

Thanks.

Please explain what you are saying clearly. Are you trying to apply for admission? www.nouonline.net is the website. Please present your question more clearly.
