Solitechworld: please shut up if you can't stop being emotionally charged . This is not ISLAM. Take that to the bank. It's not Islam. the US has committed heinous crimes against humanity. Do we say all Americans are responsible? IPOB have been killing gruesomely in the east… do we say all Christians are killers? Can you preach against killings for blasphemy in your mosque? You are just here bragging what you don't know. Why do you think your clerics are quiet about it. Ask yourself. On Nairaland here, how many times has any article of Islam being against killing for blasphemy made FP? Ask yourself! |

Solitechworld: How often do your pastors teach against blasphemy?
Blasphemy Carries death sentence…. Just that it can only be carried out by the Government
Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation or tongue that speaks anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego shall be torn limb from limb and their houses reduced to a rubbish heap, inasmuch as there is no other god who is able to deliver in this way.” Daniel 3:29
Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Mathew 12:31-32
In Leviticus 24:16 the punishment for blasphemy is death. You address things people are not doing correctly. If people don't practice what is written correctly, your Imams and Islamic clerics owe the duties of teaching against such. The Pastors don't teach Blasphemy because it is not a problem to us. Look at the comments from most Muslims. It is only a few 'cowards' like the OP that gets up to talk against it. Reasons in my last paragraph. If you are trying to compare what is written in the Bible with what is written in the Quran, ask yourself... How many times have Christians in Nigeria acted according to where u quoted? The fact that they don't means, you are reading a wrong meaning to those verses or some other laws have overcome those verses which u are not aware of. You quoted Leviticus as saying the punishment for blasphemy is death. Are all Muslims not blasphemous by calling Jesus a prophet whom the Bible didn't refer to as such? But how many times have any Muslim been killed in your area for blasphemy? You said it is Government that should carry out such punishment... Where is it stated in the Quran or where did you get that from? How many persons where killed when Jesus resurrection was likened to the rising of Agege bread recently in the advert during Easther? This is because the Pastors have done their jobs well in that area. The problems we have is that, only a few coward Muslims seem to know the 'truth'. Coward because, those that know the truth are all quiet while those that are blind are killing people for Alla everyday. If you are not cowards, use your Facebook pages, your local mosques, your Muslim gatherings to teach against it. If you are not cowards, go all out publicly and refute this practice. You all gather in a faceless forum to speak against it when deep in your heart you reason like that guy who lighted the match stick that burnt the lady to death. BE BOLD if Indeed you are telling the truth. Go to your mosques and preach it... Preach to your friends about it... Write on your official handles on social media, use your religious whatsapp groups to educate those your claim are illiterate of the truth. Until then, you all remain the same. |

Zandena: You're just too unreasonable to remain fatally adamant in stating the obvious truth! If you take actions of a minute and insignificant members of a faith or ethnic group as a representation of the overwhelming majority of such faith, then you are suffering from mental imbalance and failure of education! IPOB has been maiming and killing innocent citizens and no one ascribed it to christianity or which is the predominant religion of Igbos Let's punish criminals in accordance with the law and we say NO TO JUNGLE JUSTICE!!! Simple question that I asked you are using violence to answer... U call those minority few? If indeed they are few, where were the majority of those who are against these few people? Why couldn't they stop them? What is the real 'peaceful' and true Muslims doing to stop this? Will we hear any Islamic clergy condemn this today? Will Sultan of Sokoto condemn this? By the time u answer those questions you will know the truth. |

Islam is a religion of peace regardless of how bad you want to paint it… Are u refuting the fact that those doing same have several verses to back their act? Secondly, how often do imams in your local mosques teach against killing people in the name of 'blasphemy'? |

All query to the registry was not responded to and my Study centre is not getting a feedback from the registry..
Abuja is far for me ohh You should have done the last semester registration to fulfill the obligation of minimum of 3 semesters. But since u may have missed that opportunity, u can go to the HQ (Academic Registry) and explain. If it becomes too difficult, u can beg to pay for a semester registration of 18k to fulfill the obligation so your can released. This is my suggestion. |

latoiya: Hello House..
I enrolled for my Msc in Peace and Conflict Resolution in a distance learning institution (NOUN) using two semesters (one year) and I passed all the required courses. My result was approved by the Department, Faculty, PG school and forwarded to the University Senate by the Registry, of which my name came out on the convocation list and my certificate printed, the same school registry who forwarded my name for clearance at the Unit Senate has refused to release my certificate to me citing incomplete semesters...I cited my reasons as the possibility of the school granting access to register my third semester and project course together and since there are limited or no classroom activities I was able to combine my studies and research project together for my second semester, which afforded me the time to finish up at the pace of one year,
A lot of student had graduated with the same two semesters in the past with their certificate being released to them as soon as convocation is done, I wonder why they decided to withheld my result, if they hadn't want me to graduate they shouldn't have cleared me and my other colleagues for convocation and certificate printed... or should behave recalled previous student who graduated within the two semesters..
Some PG Diploma student was also affected by this same cause..
Is the registry action right for withelding the certificate after I have been cleared for convocation ?
Even if they have the right what are the possible solutions to getting my certificate released as I have passed all my courses and research project for the course..

Nairaland General › Re: Help!! Cats Keep Crying At My Window At Night!! by Enskynelson(m): 7:12am On Apr 30, 2022 |
About two years ago, I moved in to a new location ND had similar issue. I discovered one of the cats was male and the other female.
The cry was the most disturbing because from a deep sleep, you could think it was a baby. I will get up and watch them move over my fence. Most times, I use sticks to chase them away only for them to return again.
As per African man, I didn't take everything physical. I prayed too.
There were some nights I had to use water in a cup to chase them away from a top the fence. I used to keep my wastes in a nylon at the back, waiting for it to be plenty before going to dispose. The cats would come and scatter the waste leaving everything messed up.
After a while, we got a waste collection bin in front of the gate and their visit to my side of the house reduced.
For a long time now (more than a year now), I haven't heard them again. About two weeks ago, I went to switch on my gen at night only to see one walking over the fence. But this time, it was just one of them and not the pair that I used to see.
At the point they were disturbing my sleep and peace, I thought of so many things including looking for cat poison because it was becoming a major obstruction to my peace.
In Africa, we really don't take care of our pets. We often allow our pets to roam about, disturb the peace of others and often destroy their property. African man never take care of himself finish, na pet he want cater for! |
