CrimeRe: See The Little Boy That Was Shot But Still Saved His Sister's Life During Attack by eodavids(m): 8:57am On Mar 20, 2019
dainformant:
A young hero has been hailed after struggling to save his life and that of his little sister during an attack on Dogon Noma village in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna state.

The brutal attack on the innocent villagers few days ago - was alleged to have been carried out by Fulani herdsmen.

According to Williams Kaura Abba, the young boy identified as Jonathan Badamosi, refused to yield to the bandits' attack.

The heavily armed men reportedly fired shots at the boy. The bullets pierced his hand and went to his abdomen. Badamosi was carrying his little sister, Muradi on his back. He had her when he was shot at. Yet, he braved it and refused to drop his little sister on account of the pains.

He bore the pains and despite the bullets on his fragile body, he managed to carry both his sister and himself to safety.

Help later came the way of Jonathan who is now receiving medical attention at Nasara Health Clinic Mararaban in Kajuru.

Let's see how he will continue traversing the whole states of the federation to share that money. He shouldn't stopoo, because many who needs trader money haven't gotten it yet, so he should make it available for more traders.

Stopping now means it was meant for bribing voters & swaying their votes

CareerRe: "Why I Resigned From N-Power": My Story and the Lessons (Photo) by eodavids(m): 8:59am On Mar 13, 2019
UNIQUEISRAEL:
Dear friends, take your time and read my story, I pray you find Grace to stand through!

Recently, I had to take a step that I was 100% sure was godly and morally correct but It looked so foolish to several people, but with God on my side and with the encouragement of sincere believers, I'm strengthened!

It goes thus:

Sometimes December, 2016, I got enrolled in a national scheme of the Federal Government of Nigeria called N-POWER, it's a current and working scheme that was set up by this present government to ameliorate or ease the high level of unemployment in the Nigeria.

Fortunately, I got an admission in December, 2018 to further my studies in the University of Benin, and as part of the pact or agreement between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the volunteers of N-POWER, it's required of us to work full time, that is; for no reason must we get into any endeavour that will clash with the normal working hour at our Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).

Prior to taking my decision, I did a lot of consultations, told a lot of friends, both the matured and the 'flexible' and of course I got mixed responses.

Some said "leave the job and go to school, you'll need the money, it's a national cake!"
Some said "put someone to impersonate you and leave the job for school!"
Some said "bribe to Head Mistress and go to schoo!, she will cover you up, in case supervisors show up"

The above were the responses from 'caring' colleagues, seniors and associates of which very few said I should do the right thing.

The right thing actually is to resign the Job and go for my education, considering the fact that the job needs my full attention and my education in the university will also need me full-time, it's therefore obviously impossible to meet the need coming from both angles simultaneously.

So I wrote a letter of resignation to that respect some weeks ago, upon which I got a confirmation from N-POWER website yesterday that I have been successfully resigned from the program!

Due to my preparation for school, I had to leave the town and stop working at my PPA since early February.

Some people called me later to inform me against their previous counsel that I had really taken the right step, some also told me that it was indeed a tough step to take considering the economic situation in the country but they prayed and encouraged me that God will see me through!

LESSONS

1. God's Will and moral standards shouldn't be compromised for earthly gains.
2. Act right, even if the whole world will tag you as a fool, God's on your side.
3. Be Wise and Courageous in taking right decisions.
4. God will reward all your sacrifices even when men's comments aren't encouraging.
5. Take the right steps, you may not know who is watching and will follow.

You must have learnt few lessons too about taking the right and uncommon steps, May God back you up as you take the steps to Stand for truth and righteousness. Amen!!!
My Guy, I pray that God gives you the grace to thrive all trough your study duration and may you find a profitable venture to support you while you are studying.

I want you to know the task ahead of you is huge, and its too early to celebrate your decision. That can come at the end of your experiment.

LET NOT HIM THAT PUTETH ON HIS SWORD BOAST LIKE HIM THAT PUTETH IT OUT.

DO NOT SHOW PEOPLE YOUR PLAN, (its not wise) RATHER SHOW PEOPLE YOUR RESULT.

Go to where he is from he embezzled all the road contract allocated to his local government. The roads there are death traps. I don't know why people from Ikot Ekpene Senatorial district will be so myopic to see that this guy spells and oozes doom for them.
You don't get it, do you?

If Buhari is telling the world that INEC steals people's votes and awards wining to another person, then we must all listen keenly, because he might be saying it based on his experience on the presidential elections which INEC just crowned him "winner".

If Akpabio's loss is rigging, then why not also Atiku's?

Imaging where every single one-hundred-and-eighty million Nigerians is giving Buhari advice on what to do and how to do it. You will then prefer the procedure that makes only appointed advisers to do the work.

Gbam.

Even the PDP rigged rigorously in their strongholds.

But voter apathy is more powerful than any rigging, this is what alot of politicians fail to see, they think their money will buy then an avalanche of votes.
But you must admit that in the south, they always stick to the "inec stipulated rules" while in the north, they usually are like: "to hell with that big handset. Allow us vote the way we are use to or we cause riot..."
Then the election officials will be like...for peace to reign...thumbprint as you want..."

You should know Buhari has never lost in his state since 2003 even when the chief rigger OBJ was on seat.

You should know Buhari has a strong base in the North, unlike Atiku that is neither here nor there.

I wanna ask you, if Kanu now comes and contest and election and his party wins by a landslide in the Eastern states will you call that rigging?
Of course the opposition will scream its rigging, but we both know Kanu is capable of winning in a landslide because of his strong base there.

Same applies here.
If you want to win in elections, get local.
In other words, you are saying "rig it at home"

You like most of the people on this forum missed the point.
Atiku is not the person to unseat Buhari.
I want to ask you, how popular is Atiku in the South East, I mean how well do the people in this region really know Atiku?
How has/did Atiku touch the interest of the people of SS and SE when he was opportune to do so?

What had been Atiku's track record? Was it flawless compared to Buhari?

How relevant has Atiku been in our political space? As far as I can tell Atiku started reacting to the issues of this country just 4 - 5 months to elections. Hate him or Like him FFK has more relevance in the Nigerian political space for the past 4 years than Atiku.

If you want to unseat Buhari bring someone that is way Better than Buhari (which you guys are capable of, but won't do so because he won't play ball),
than to bring someone that is slightly better or worse than Buhari.

This is what happens when your actions is based on emotions rather than common sense.
Wait bros.
Atiku did excellently well at the polls. Do not berate his ability to have won Buhari. In real votes Atiku got over 11million, real votes.

What you see Buhari being declared to have gotten, you think its real votes by "one man one vote"

Come on. It was meant to look like southerners are illiterates in politics and were unable to vote much compared to their northern counterparts who are "capable of voting with minimal voided votes"

Atiku was made to win with minimal merging at his strongholds; while Buhari wins with overinflated mergine at his own strongholds...
PoliticsRe: Congratulations PMB! Igbos Can't Fault Your Re-election. by eodavids(m): 2:58pm On Mar 02, 2019
Chiwude:
If there's one thing I have learnt about this election, one thing I'll never forget in my old age, one thing I'll never forget even if Nigeria comes down to her knees. Is this!
The north knows how to support their own. Either through hook or crook, either through under age voting, mass thumb printing, animals coming to vote or anything you think of, the north are masters of the game.
Bring in your 200 thousand votes and they will bring forth their 2 million votes. Scratch your head and bring in your 1 million votes and the north brings in her 4 million votes. Can you beat that?
Stick to your Inec regulations and disenfranchise your people under the name of card reader, the north don't do such holla balo, they just dump the much wahala card readers somewhere and do their mass thumb printing. After all vote na vote. Isn't it? To progress into the digital age is not by force? Abi them tell you say them hate their current condition?
Whether bandits kills them in large numbers or not is not your business? Whether Boko Haram destroy their lands or not is not your worry? Whether meningitis, cholera or polio ravages them in their region isn't your wahala? So why pokenose into their matter. Why?
The middlebelt too have similar mindset as the core north surprisingly. How on earth Buhari cleared this region leaves much taste in the mouth. At the last count, Buhari is sweeping Kwara, Nassarawa, Niger, Kogi and neck in neck with Atiku in Benue and Plateau. Abuja delivered for Atiku and you could guess that many non-middlebelters made it possible. Are we to believe that the fulani herdsmen and cattle colony crisis was faux? Did the media blow it out of proportion or what? Is Buhari really the hero of these people or what? Well, we wouldn't know for now, only time shall tell.
But all in all the election will go down in history as the most one sided election? Atiku and PDP have no one but themselves to blame. How on earth do you expect to win an election as diverse as ours and lose woefully in your own backyard? What stops Atiku from matching Buhari, wit for wit, rig for rig and illegality for illegality in the north to emerge victorious. This he failed to do and was hoping on the SE/SS to do what exactly. I hope he learns the bitter lesson that you don't engage a man holding a cutlass in a boxing match. Beat him in his own game and when you emerge victorious curtail the illegality by signing the electoral bill into law. That way you'll save Nigeria's democracy from future tyrants. Something Goodluck Jonathan failed to do.
However, I appreciate the SE Igbos for their electioneering. It appears we've learnt some lessons from our one-basket political disposition in 2015.
Igbos and their leadership did well. Much oil to the elbows of Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Ken Nnamani, Umahi and others. Whether they rigged or not for APC is not our business. If other Nigerians say they want Buhari who are we to say No! They wanted Buhari in 2015 and we said No! What happened we were vilified and suffered alone. We cannot continue to suffer for another man's failure. If the north central who suffered from fulani herdsmen say they love Buhari, are we to go against their wish? Tufia Kwa!
Kudos to my SS brothers too for doing likewise. We suffered together in 2015 and both the SW, NE, NC, NW enjoyed the spoils of our absence from national government. We were called 5% by a sectarian President bent on denigrating his opponents. Surely, Nigeria died in 2015!
Kudos to our SW brethren, we don't fault you guys anymore. Despite benefiting from Buhari's government You still voted your conscience. You didn't cast your vote on one basket. Ondo, Osun and Oyo are testaments. You guys rock for teaching us your style of survival in Nigerian politics.
You made a lot of sense
