@Ahmed442 and advancedna stop this unpleasant religious messages exchanges. Ahmed, if you need answers, focus on the reasons you opened this thread.

It is hard to help people, and I have been following this thread hoping someone will truly help you, but everyone of them are giving you something they will gain from. This is why you won't be successful.

Listen...if you want to trade ....if buying from the north and selling in the south is your goal, the best way you should go about it is to find someone in your region who understands sales in the South. If the fellow is capable, you have no problem. Look for someone who understands the business you want to invest just N350k. If the person decides to help you...that's it. He won't be interested in your N350k if he is making more than N500k innthe same business. He will help you to grow so his business can grow too. That's who you should ask help from, and not all these people on NL.

Here is an idea...hmmm...I hope this goodness won't affect me again cos most people I help are ingrate. Infacts, almost all Nigerians. Well...I will try to help you.

So, I will get you the telephone numbers of good marketers of grains, vegetables, fruits, and tubers in Mile 12, Lagos. They will all be from the North, but they have already secured their businesses in Lagos. These people can hook you up with farmers, traders, and businessmen in their region who you can join. For example, 50 traders may buy tomatoes at cheap price in Kaduna, Kano, Jos, etc. Then, they organise a big truck to move their goods to Lagos. 3 days later, everyone gets sms alert that his money don enter his bank account. The network in Lagos sells the goods, takes his percentage and sends money to all the farmers or traders.

If the above is OK with you. You can try tomato first. If you don't like it, watermelon, cabbage, etc. If you don't like veggie, you can look into dates, tigernuts, etc. There are also special seeds like fennel you may trade.

If it sounds OK with you...I can ask my links to get me a very good marketer from the North there. You will call him and ask him everything about the business ....that you want to enter. Na your person from your region you are speaking with. If you find everything he says OK, then do it.

Your negotiation power is what will pave way for you. Listen, I may not even know the contact oooo cos I may not know him or her...but I have contacts who can get me anything there. So, don't come here to say the contact you got messed you up. I don't know the person ooo...but most of them are honest because they have association. You will need to contact their association officers too for guidance. There is a formal process for it. Take it.

Mile 12 in Lagos is the destination of over 70% of perishable food from the North to South West...so it is a huge market for you.

Let me know if you are interested.

what happens to the other four that don't?
these are hard questions that should be debated on.
You have raised vital points, but beating your chest that it won't pass is funny. Governors, you, and I are not the ones who determine what will happen. The people in charge are in that room in the house of rep. And then senators. It doesn't matter the challenges ahead. As long as Tinubu has the number, they will pass it. It is after passing it that they will start solving all these challenges. So, relax....let us pray for the best to happen. Simple.

It is a tough bill, but not impossible. Tinubu seems to understand politics more than his predecessors, and I think he must have got enough numbers before attempting this. Cos...if he doesn't, it is a career killing mission.

Words of Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi meant nothing to me during the election. I just knew that things would get worse. That man called Buhari that left that position is a real disaster. And then, I laughed at the three thieves who planned to take over from him.

Reading from Okupe, FFK, and even Bwala, that guy who dumped Atiku, lol.... you should know that you have to fix yourself without depending on Nigeria.

Nigeria is not going to get better because politicians are still looting massively.

I will repeat it again here....start being self sustainable. Start your garden, grow greens and fruits, and produce poultry meat and eggs. If you can not do this....japa or start earning dollars.

If you cannot do any of the three above, you have two other options....the first is that you keep complaining and hoping NLC will fix it while those guys are using the masses to cash out...and the second is that you accept your fate.....embrace the hunger ahead.

Not just constituting nonsense on threads. That reason ...I won't tell you. But if a reasonable person asks, I can discuss it with such. Not with you.

2. Nonsense! Again, did the same market women increase prices each time the reps and senators padded their pockets? YES/NO

1. Why in the world is the aim for a family of 5 when instead minimum wage should be based on what individuals earn? undecided
So, 1 day old baby to teenagers or even over 20 years in the university in a nation there is no employment must earn since you based it on what individuals earn? The way you reason this man. Same with your religious madness. Na waoo. If there is an individual who posts without thinking...it is you. You need help.

2. This is unnecessary fear-mongering? Did the same market women increase prices each time the reps and senators padded their pockets? undecided
When you are to use history, you don't. If you don't know the history of Nigeria in regards to economics and pricing...just shut up.

Also, it is a normal reaction to salary increment all over the world. I can't blame you cos you didn't take economics seriously in your high school. When you go just use Google to bring out research papers you have not read just to gain likes and shares here. Na wa. Just imagine what a so-called educated person is saying. Even the illiterate inntje Street knows that everything there is increment in minimum wage, prices go up. So you don't know this? Some people are just educated illiterates. You are a typical example. I have told you many times... stop bumping into posts. Live your life. Those mad religious ideologies of yours are for you... stop bumping into my post.

3. Nonsense! The international poverty line, which is currently $2.15 per person per day, is the threshold that determines whether someone is living in poverty. Given that, for an individual to escape poverty, he/ she needs to earn at least $64. 50 cents which is approximately Naira 94,893.69. If a raise is not given to these people that makes sense, you are looking at SKyrocketing poverty levels in Nigeria over the next few months and with that increased corruption, crime, etc. lipsrsealed
That threshold is for who? In an economy that inflation is ravaging? Go to Argentina and say $100 is OK and you are not poor. Like I said,...use your brain when quoting research papers or making references. You are someone I know with extremely low intuitive intelligence. When you get figures, ask the parameters used. You go just quote any how. Guy, get the crap outta my mention. This is your last chance. Your IQ is too low... yet you bump into posts.

With the present inflation in Nigeria, $100 is poverty. Use your head.

400k plus is the true value of what is needed if we want to use salary increment to address the issue, and FG knows it too. As the minimum wage rises, 100k will no longer be worth the same as N60k. Moreover, where will FG get 400kplus to pay. Lol. Mainwhile, FG sourced out 300% increment for big boys in judiciary so as to have them at their corner. Lol. See...you will NEVER win any government. Na you go suffer am. Don't go get a garden....keep posting rubbish on NL. Na hunger go kill you..lol.

I am not against salary increment, but if you really understand growing a nation, it is not the answer. Anyway, I need to discuss this issue with someone with a high IQ. Not with you. You won't get it. I know you cannot get it. So, I won't stoop so low with you. I'm just replying you for the sake of readers here.

4. First, securing better wages, the fight can be taken to them when they refuse to pay up. grin
Goodluck securing better wages. Na on NL you dey jump. Go join Labour since you are so determined. Lol. I told you...you don't know history. If you know history, you will not post this rubbish. Anyway...goodluck. labor asked for over 400k, they got N65k. Lol. Keep on the aluta. Lol.

5. I see you have never in fact worked on these things yourself. How long will it take people to grow those things? You speak as though farming happens overnight. Abeg commit ojare! huh
Lol. If you had common sense, which I know you don't, you would have read my threads. Lol... Lol. See....you don't know anything. Lol.

Even...if you have read some of my threads, you would have seen sighs.

Let me leave you in your world. I won't respond to you again cos I know you are always a distraction.

120k is not enough for a family of 5. So, I am not sure how N62k makes sense.

If the government increases it, market women will increase prices too.

Honestly, an increment of wages is not the answer to this crisis. It is a double-edged sword.

The answer is to fight the government and senators concerning looting and juicy take home they have. 300% increment for judiciary at this time should be resisted.

But can this happen? Nope.

So, you are all wasting your time. The moment we had Tinubu, Atuku, and Obi, who were all looters and thieves as the last presidential candidates, I knew we were going to be in soup.

A word is enough for the wise. Start growing your food. Many of you are complaining and giving excuses. OK, ooooo. You can not win the government.

Grow greens and fruits. Produce poultry meat and eggs. These are enough for you to survive Nigeria no matter the situation ahead.

I know you get coconut head. So, keep fighting the government. No be me hunger go kill. Na you. Lol.
Agriculture › Re: Farming by epainos: 9:51pm On Jun 06, 2024
There should be a way out. I don't know how... but there should be.

The goal is to get a very faithful and honest person.

So, is there a way to get a faithful person? Cos I start thinking....if there is no one single faithful person in Nigeria, then we have useless mosques and churches. As in despite the number of churches and mosques....despite the rituals in both religions.....Ramadan and Christians'40 days fasting period...are we saying that we cannot get at least 1% faithful people in Nigeria?

Seriously, if we cannot get it, then it is worthless attending churches and mosques. Let's be real here. It means everyone is not a candidate of heaven. This is simply what it means. But you see them speaking in tongues... or even kill for Muhammed. Yet, they can't be faithful in issues like this.

Sir, you are not getting an experienced person. If you can get a faithful person... send the person for training. Forget about skills....forget about experience. They are wayo. Just find someone who cannot steal...someone who is loyal. If you can get...you can do it.

That person must not be someone who will take even 1 kobo. Not someone who will mix things up. Someone who is deeply rooted in loyalty.

By the way, if anyone knows how to get people like this, I need just one also. Anyone with an idea?
Politics › Re: Lawmakers Move To Restrict Cattle Herders, Northern Senators Fume by epainos: 2:13pm On Jun 06, 2024
Disaster is ahead.

The main problem here is that the Fulani herdmen are taking advantage of climatic change and the bastardized world ecology. If these issues are not addressed, wahala. More people will die.

An observation done by ecology experts in ranches in the US, they found that cattles reluctantly eat grasses grown with fertilizer. They prefer naturally grown grasses and legumes. They noticed that farmers don't apply fertilizer and chemicals to boundaries of their farm, and those animals always run for any little grasses along the boundaries of farms. When they have pulled out those ones, they reluctantly start eating green grasses grown with fertilizers we thought are the best.

Then, they grew grasses without fertilizer and chemicals, and the animals love it. Vet doctors were far away from them. Their poo were nourishing and kept making the grasses grow organically. So, what is the lesson learned here?

If FG gets someone who understands how to grow grasses on barren land (our reserved are barren land now), cattle will pin herdmen in the reserved area. Na herdmen want to move them around when they love the grasses? when those animals show that they are not that interested in the grasses grown with fertilizer, those herdmen move them out. And what do you expect? They feast on natural grasses. But we don't have much natural grasses around. So, what next do you think farmers don't use fertilisers to grow? Cassava. Lol. This is why they invade cassava farms seriously. Also, many still don't use enough fertilizers on corn. So, they still invade that, too. But take note... they invade cassava farms more. Do they really love cassava leaves like that? Of course not. If you give them natural grasses, they will never enter cassava farms cos they naturally prefer grasses.

While this bill is the right way to go, FG needs to find experts who understand growing grasses naturally. And so far, I think over 99% consultants can not do it. Most use chemicals and ferilizers. They can only make hay and fodder for livestock. especially when fermented, those animals love it. But how much of that can they do?

Cattle rearing is all about being a grasses farmer. People think it is all about livestock. Nope. It is not about giving them antibiotics and Vaccines. It is about growing grasses for them. When you grow natural grasses for them, they don't need antibiotics and Vaccines. Diseases will be far away from them.

Here is my point. The real cattle farmer is not the one who takes care of the animals but the one who grows grasses for them. The one who grows their food is the real farmer. He can easily do away with the modern days stress involved in it. The modern days' stress and management are what we created for ourselves.

Sustainability, ecological, and environmental knowledge is the way forward.

Sambisa forests need to be made a natural grassland for cattle....believe me...herdmen will be locked there permanently. Their business of carrying gun is finished. Na dem wan move 250kg cow from his food? They wan die? Lol.

This case is very simple to address. But FG will not get it right. Lol. I am in my home watching the inefficiency of looters in Abuja. Lol. Governors, too, are clueless about this issue. I don't think I have seen any Nigerian agricultural minister who understands it. And moreover, their friend Dangote is the father of fertilizer in Nigeria. Lol. How will they get it right? They will NEVER.

God bless Naija! Amen.

People want the government to do everything for them. Lol. Awolowo's time when he single handedly cultivated cash crops for our parents and grandparents is over. Time has changed, and the season has changed. He was successful cos the eco system has not been bastardized like this.

The government has gone into such projects, but when there are hindrances, they can not succeed. If you notice, even in the US, private sectors and research Institutes are the bodies solving agro-chalenges. Lol. We created the problems for ourselves. Mechanised farming, oil exploits, and carbon burning are the reasons for climatic change.

So, research is what we need. We need rootstock for cocoa. The Philippines has started using them, so why can't Nigeria find solutions. Our research Institutes are
just struggling to survive. Though, individuals there are doing their best. If the government should empower them, one director will loot all... like that 419 guy in FIIRO with a fake PhD cert from Benin Republic.

There is no aspect of agric that is not good. Both palm oil and cocoa are extremely good.

Another challenge is land. Give land to people who want to do agric. The government should take away land from families who are just holding yo them. They should be compensated, and then, the land should be put to use.

Security should be provided.

These are areas the government should come in. Stop asking the government to fund your personal business...stop asking the government to subsidise what you know you are not going to do.

Politics › Re: Labour Party to NLC: Don't throw Nigerians into more hardship, accept FG's N60k by epainos: 3:56pm On Jun 03, 2024
The majority are angry because politicians are looting big time... yet they want the masses to endure.

The truth is that the poor will always continue suffering. So, I smile when I hear someone describing his level as the poor. Lol. You go suffer till you die.

Another issue here is that people who wan japa are disturbed. This is not good. Why will Labour disturb people who are ready to leave? It is not good na. Instead of them to go disturb emilokan and his gangs.

See...if you think these labor guys are doing you favor, you are funny. They will only make things worse. And then, listen to the Labor party asking Nigerians to take N60k minimum wage. The truth is that govt cannot pay more than it can afford, but the government will still loot. Hmmm.

See eh! Nigeria is a funny nation. My advice again is that you should position yourself well. If you aren't earning dollars, you are at a disadvantage. So, japa. If you can not earn dollars, and you can not japa, Nigeria is already happening to you. However, you have one more option. Go and set up a garden...produce your veggie, eggs, meat, and fruits. This is your last option.

If you can not do any of the three, or you start insulting me, you are doomed. It means you will fight the Nigerian government with all your strength. Go ask Gani Fawehinmi...how far. Ask Femi Falana what's up. You never start. Check out how Adam Oshiomole led Labor and took the advantage to become a governor and now a senator. Una no dey learn. Do you think these Labor guys are fighting for you?

Go and start a garden.

But it's not every civil workers that lives in countryside where they can see enough garden to plant.
You don't need to live in the countryside before you start. Na excuse una dey give. If you see fighting the government as the way out for you....continue. If you need to find a way out, you will take extra effort to achieve it.

Very funny. Am I the one who will suffer the result of doing nothing? Continue making excuses.

After being diehard government defenders, I can see a number of you are now coming to the realisation that they really do not give a hoot about anyone but themselves.
Wrong assumption. Not everyone is into politics. Some of us just want to live happily. Some of us know that even those who supported candidates who lost are not aware of the reality. People like you fall into this category.

And you are right. Some of us don't give a damn about politicians, their supporters, and people like you who seem to be the real casualties. We are focused on ourselves. Do you know what Christ said? Christ said he is not concerned about the world but the church. So, I don't give a damn about you as long as you put your hope in politicians. I am focused on people who want to live happily no matter the person in Aso Rock.

To increase subsidy, u don't stress urself. U just announced during speech on ur swearing in as a president. U increased price of everything without stress and masses trying to cope. National assembly, and VP got billions of naira to renovate and buy cars, without stress. Ur and ur VP spent 8.6billions within just few months for traveling, no stress. Now, to increase minimum wages, u now turned their representatives to errands boys and girls with different meetings upon meetings and offering them just 60k. What for? They broke down how they came up with the 615k, then u also should break down how u reached the 60k and let everyone hear.
Did you read my post well. Only that I chose not to speak it all out like you because wisdom is careful with words.

Some of u will just talk as if someone can just farm on any land. How many of them get land that they can farm? Let be reason well in this country. Few people are embezzling our money, and leaving peanut for masses and yet, we don't see what is bad in it. Oga ooooo
Necessity is the mother of invention. Some of us aren't just talking, but we did it. If we can do it, you can. But if you choose to complain like many who complained when we started, you will meet the same end they met. You choose to see the impossibility in it, but it is still the way. If you think going on strike, fighting the government, and so can give you quality life, go ahead with it. But those who have learned that it is purely a waste of time because those labor leaders will compromise again are already looking for ways to start gardening.

Can you do anything about the leaders looting our funds? Can you? So, if you can, do something about it. But if you cannot, why are you talking hot? Lol. Those who couldn't take it, japa. They left Naija. That's taking a positive action. Others found a way of earning dollars in Nigeria. But you can't japa, you can't earn a dollar, yet you think depending on the labor leaders who have been compromising from ages is the best option for you... bless you.

And then, there is another option if you can not japa or earn dollars, you are out to toss it away like a piece of trash. Lol. Wetin be mine? Na you go suffer am. The very few who can think out of the box and do it will be saved.

At times, it is good to cool off and ask questions politely. Instead of you to ask the solutions those doing it are using, you chose to just trash it away. People like you will NEVER learn. Lol. And like I said.....goats are always helpless at the end cos no matter how stubborn they are, they always end up inside pots. Keep doing what you know how to do best, and that is showing no progress in your life.

Learn humility and learn how to ask for help politely. Many doors will be opened with humility. With this attitude you displayed here, you are set to injure yourself really big.

Goodluck!

Strike is a signal that all is not well. No matter what, strike is not the answer because it causes more harm; however, it is necessary when dealing with a demonic leader.

One thing I know about Tinubu is that he will rather find a way to appease the leaders and keep them at his corner....maybe not forceful like Abacha, but seriously speaking, workers won't get much from this. Those labor leaders are fighting for their own interests.

Businesses will be affected, money will be lost, appointments will be missed, and many inconvenient situations come along with strike.

If you smart, you should start thinking of how to make yourself free from depending on the Nigerian economy. You will start thinking of how to earn dollars instead of Naira. Earning Naira is disastrous. Honestly, I feel for civil servants. They are like helpless goats (you know how stubborn they are, but in the end... they are always helpless) being dragged to the slaughterhouse.

Civil Servants who cannot earn dollars can produce their food to save themselves from this hardship. Go and learn how to garden, and start producing vegetables, tubers, fruits, fish, poultry meat, and eggs. If you like, keep complaining. Take a bold move now. You can do it. Save yourself from the coming unbearable hunger. A word is enough for the wise.

Who said we are not complaining? 700km road scam that they did 1km and fix street lights immediately you think we are fools we don't believe him because we know him unless he prove the SS wrong else why can't they start from Calabar as well
You guys should just be careful. Like I said, if this project eventually is successful, Igbos has successfully widen the unity gap with SS. That's all I have to say. Everything you have said is filled with poison. Let SS cry ...not igbos crying for them.

Take care.
