Keep deceiving yourself, what is wrong in starting the project from both ends they are taking South South People serious like you said? 700km load, one contractors, project starts from one end only, haba, who does that?
Lol! A very funny reasoning. Trying to make SS bittered. But SS aren't complaining. Lol. Oga....you are on your own in that Biafra thing. LWKMD.

Ofunaofu:
So suddenly, the south west has become an emergency for lovers of the south south because Tinubu is building a Lagos-Calabar coastal highway that won't be completed in 30 years from today.

Listen, the south-east has never and would never have any reason to criticize the project because, once it is completed, it will be used by all Nigerians.
An opinion by Peter Obi criticizing the project at this point in time in our nation's history when there are other critical roads like the east-west road and the calabar-itu road in the same South South that need urgent attention should never be associated with the entire south east. It is his personal opinion, not an opinion of the south-east. Peter Obi doesn't speak for the south-east.

Atiku was the first to describe the project as a highway of fraud. Is he from the south east, or west? Why are you not saying that the entire north-east, where he comes from, is against the project?

Please be guided.
Lol!

Taking samples from NL says it all. I didn't even mention Peter Obi. Lol. And saying Atikunwas the first to criticise the project is one of the many mischievous ways you and your people try to burn down Nigeria.

Whatsoever you sow, you will definitely reap. All you are reaping presently are Ojukwu's harvest. Don't worry...your children will reap yours too.

Lol!

Hmmm!

Most South-Southers feel betrayed by this criticism. Only Tinubu's opponents in SW and most of SE oppose this project. Some things should be left unsaid. To be honest, if this project is completed, the support gap between BTW, SS, and SE will widen significantly.

Akpabio and Tinubu are seriously uniting SS and SW. Hmmmm! Look at it deeply. While Igbos are just making it extremely hard to unite with them. Do you really think SS will follow their Biafran agenda? OK, oooo. But there are roads going through SE now. Their son serves as the Works Minister. But anything about SS, if it does not benefit Igbo, they spoilt it. And then some irrelevant SW too join them. But the truth is that SS will only count this man's article as a trash. Lol.

Regardless of what you say, I support any infrastructure development. This is what we need now. We need to connect everywhere.

Na food una want. Gluttons. If we sacrifice food to complete these infrastructure development projects, it is a win-win situation. We can not do much until we have a system in place to prevent looting. But at least, let them build Nigeria. What is so hard in this? Instead, let us put pressure on Tinubu to complete it, or ensure that the next president does. This should be our goal. Everyone should go to their constituency and ensure that their representatives begin submitting developmental ideas and projects to the presidency. Let us all wake up and press their heads. Let's stop this bitterness here and there.

As Ben Murray Bruce has stated, if you do not like the road after it is completed, do not drive on it.

Saw also your okra farm. Truly, you have done well at your age.

I have a question. Can you leave your farm (sheep and vegetables) and go abroad? Can it function properly without you? I am asking because you are tied to a business if it can only run effectively with you around. Have you ever considered running your farm without your presence? Could you please share your thoughts?
Politics › Re: Doyin Okupe: Tinubu Has Set Structures In Place For The Development Of Lagos by epainos: 6:13am On Jun 02, 2024
Even if you don't like or follow Tinubu, it is worth studying him. A fearless man. Just imagine....no Southerner can ever pull the strings he has been pulling.

Tinubu went so humble even to prostrating for Orji Kalu's mom. Today, that woman must knee with her two legs before him. Always bowing for his mentors and seniors...e.g. For Dantata. I know two other people he has bowed for as the president. Buhari never did it for once. He would stand like an iroko tree even in the presence of his seniors in the army. Lol.

Tinubu was silent all through the pre election era about El Rufai's ways. Even when El Rufai called Aregbesola to make moves and dethrone Tinubu in Lagos... and even those Rufai's kids were insulting him on social media, he said nothing. All he did was to still appeal to that man to get what he wanted from him. Lol. El Rufai thought Tinubu na mumu. Yes, he sent his name to the senate for clearance... but he made sure his guy Ribadu blocked him. Lol. So, una think Ribadu can block ElRufai if he did not get the pass from the president? Lol. Now, he is going to deal with Kwankwaso, the strong man of Kano, too. Lol. Have you ever seen him run to Babangida. Danjuma, Obasanjo, etc, like how others did? He saw them all before the election...and that's it. Can you really say anyone is controlling this man? No way.

He abandoned Ambode, Fasola, Aregbesola, and Osinbajo like wastes. He moved on with his life and mission. Lol.

I am not his fan, but one needs to study him to understand Nigerian politics. Here is a man who has NEVER lost one single election. What marvelled me most was how he waited for so long and how he knew the right time to move for the Abuja seat. Unlike Atiku, the serial loser. Even we all know he made the other serial loser the president.....lol. Without Tinubu, Buhari wouldn't have become the president.

It is smart to understudy your enemy many times. Na wisdom.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Commissions Several Roads In Akwa Ibom Constructed By NDDC. by epainos: 4:39pm On Jun 01, 2024
Metordman:
keep on commissioning roads, so citizens should drive on with empty stomachs and empty fuel tanks. What's is the need of roads with fuel selling at 900/lit. Most Nigerians have parked thier cars. Keep looting from road projects. Labour is about to go on strike, a basket of tomatoes is 120k, bag of Garri 90k, insecurity has displaced so many farmers...keep on comissioning roads. Hanimal.
Infrastructural development is what we need now. Food will come down later. Food is something you can produce for yourself, but you can not build roads. Fuel's price will keep fluctuating and can be easily corrected. But it takes years to put infrastructure in place. This is what Nigeria needs now. It still doesn't mean Tinubu should not be kicked out of power. But whoever is the next president will not abandon it. Let us keep developing more of this.

Sir, you can produce food and live OK. This is my advice. Stop complaining when you can not do anything about it. But I think you can do something about it. Produce meat, fish, vegetables, and tubers for yourself. You can do it. If you want to keep complaining, it's your cup of tea. Nigeria is hot for everyone now. I know many who didn't vote for Tinubu, yet aren't complaining. Why? They always live beyond any economic hardship.

No be ONLY food dem.born you to come chop in this world. Be innovative and creative. Produce your food.

Surgery can be dangerous, but it can be a way out. The most important is for her to take her health serious.

Most people use the economy as an excuse. Good health is real investment. Many of you would rather invest in building houses first. Lol. We take ownership of houses as something that is compulsory in Nigeria. But when you check out these houses...most are crappy. Mehn! Naija!!!

Your health comes first...and good health is healthy lifestyle. And this is all about 90% food. The remaining 10% consists of exercising and spirituality. That's it. And let me be clear, 90% out of food you eat should be organic. Period!

I pity corn flakes, oats, tins food, etc lovers. Lol. I pity frozen chicken eaters. And I pity those who eat vegetables bought in markets and imported fruits. Yes...you think you are eating healthily....hmmm. I pity white rice, noodles, spaghetti, beans eaters. Ha! Wetin we go chop. Don't change. Agriculture › Re: Improved Local Birds Breeds Project by epainos: 4:31am On May 31, 2024
chukskafor:
When I said GMO, I was referring to the fact that the gene pool has been tempered with, reason they are referred to as a HYBRID species, the purpose of the breeder for producing a hybrid is for the retention of survivability, good egg production and increase carcass quantity to surpass the quality of the parent stocks but by the time these are used in crossing same family stocks, you are bound to face many abnormality because the FILIAL issue comes into play here.

All the same, good luck with your endeavors, no risk, no reward
I gat you....but the way terms are used, we should be careful. When you say tampered with in breeding, it means you extract the desired genes traits chemically and insert it into another. But when you allow nature to do its thing, you won't say that genes are tampered with... even though technically, genes are modified. Just like humans. When a Caucasian sleeps with a Latino or black, then what we call hybrid in plants is produced. Even with IVF, which is also an equivalent of AI (artificial insemination), the whole sperms is taking, and there is no artificial gene traits extraction. You pull out the whole sperms (as a whole) and insert back. It is when you pull out the sperm or egg, and you use chemical on it to extract a particular gene trait you call it GMO or whatever in human.

I just want to point out the mistake we make when using terms. I gat you, but let's use the right breeding terms.

You are on point with all other points. Nice analysis, bro.

The pictures above does not contain any thing noiler there, those are stock images from google depicting of white leghorn australorp, cocchin and brahma and I think the latter looks like a wyandotte
What are the parents of noilers? That's the question we need to ask ourselves first. From there, we can know if noiler is in the picture or not. Even if it is not, read my post very well. I wrote that I am interested in the so-called "heritage" chickens. The word heritage is the focus and not particularly noiler. But if you check well, there is a trace of noiler there. Won't say anything further in this regard cos I have learned to keep what I know to myself so I don't get many people angry. Say and pass on....that's my life now. Sure, they are Google pictures to show what I want to do. Did you read there that I wrote I have them already? I posted that, I was just discussing with someone recently. If the OP was interested in my post, he would have said something about it. But he passed by. Should I start forcing my opinion on him? Guy, person wey no wan pay attention to details go learn in a very hard way. Person wey feel his own way is the way....go learn na. Se you no learn the hard way as you have just posted? See...life is simple. I have seen that Nigerians especially feel threatened with someone who always put them in the right way... They will always take it bad. So, na wisdom be all now. If OP is not a careless person, he should have asked himself, "Why that message?" But he is focused on his thing...displaying them that he is doing them....so, let him display his might and wisdom na.

God will help us all.

chukskafor:
You should have pointed the role of filial generation out to the guy because if he knows or was informed, he would have done better than wasting his time on something that will come out lesser than the original copy, infact some gets as small as a bantam chicken; as regards your assumption of having original F2 generation noilers in Nigeria, gone were the days it happened, when AMO OF SIEBERRA was still under the Indian ownership, today, every Jack, Dick and Harry is now a noiler producer, without knowing that for them to achieve quality, a lot of research and resources needs to be put in place,
In time past, I bought a particular set of noilers which against all odds refused to grow to their potential, they chowed my money beyond imagination, for close to 10 months old the hens I kept refused to grow and refused to lay, just looked over small even for a local of their age, I was forced to slaughter them all for consumption; whereas on the other hand, the last sets and several other sets I've done starts laying as early as four months old and reaches potential in five to six months
The above bolded part....hmmm. Sir, life is a lesson. When you get to a stage, you just learn how to let people fail. Someone who was so serious about his fertile eggs? I dont want to go into details, but these days, I have learned to be wise even more than Kimg Solomon. I allow people to do that which is in them. Na to dey look them. I used to want to save souls....see...the souks that want to go to hell ....I don't try to save from going to the express highway. If God decides not to interfere and allow such to perish, who am I? I used to do that until God revealed it to me that even Jesus the savior did his thing and did not try to save everyone, and he is still not trying to. He who needs what I have only needs to ask. It is only those who ask God and desperately seek help that God saves. So, I have learned. Sir, NEVER ....I repeat...NEVER will I teach or try to save people. NEVER again! Any wise fellow who values my input will ask for help.

I opened a thread on broilers parents and asked people to come together (not even my idea, but someone innthe thread gave me the idea), those who spoke to me privately...I gave out the company that I want to use. I was even surprised that many of them don't know that the company exists. Guess what? Only one person was willing to work in a team. Though, they all makde inquiries and they know they cannot afford to do the minimum number the company sells, they still want to go ahead and do it by themselves cos they think they can make the money like that. Only one person... but unfortunately, we have no way forward. That's it. I put my ideas forward, and if they want to follow my leadership, I will put down my time to lead the team. But if they come to ask me questions to be their own inventor... no problem, I will still answer them. But that thing that made me ask people to coke together...se me sef no wan be "jam jam" of the business? Yeah... they want to monopolise it na. And many have trust issues. No wahala. That trust issue.....I have dealt with it, and I don't trust easily too again.

Here is my point... anyone who is serious and attracted to my style will ask questions. If not, na so a go dey look.

May God help us all. Amen. I'm not saying more on this issue. Those who want to keep using chemicals should continue... Those who want to fall into the scammers hands can end up there. And those who are told to act as guides should continue to be gods. If I need anything, I will ask here politely. If God puts it in my heart to drop anything cos He always tells me to obey even go to where I don't want to like Jonah...I still obey. If I have my way...I think...people shouldn't read these posts ... but when the owner of life keeps telling me not to stop...who am I?

So, please.... no matter what one does, the world will still complain. And I don't really send anymore.

Finally, the message God is telling me to pass across now is sustainability and wellness. Guy, tap into organic production for yourself and family oooo. Na beg a dey beg una now. Eat your noilers....feed them organic food. You can start with commercial feed but no antibiotics and Vaccines...gradually learn how to grow bugs and leaves for them. Grass fed meat is what we need, and not grains fed. Please live long.

I am done with this thread here. Any further comment is over doing it. So, I take my leave here.

Goodluck to everyone.

I told many people that if Netanyahu returns to become the 1st citizen, Palestine and Iran will hear it. That guy that previously defeated him is a coward. And when Israel was tired of the messes, and then Trump's pushing them around, they brought back the only Benjamin Netanyahu. And he has shown again to be the strongest man of Israel. Nothing...I mean absolutely nothing will happen to him. He will bombard the whole of Rafah has he has promised.

As for me...I don't care. Nigeria's problem is enough for me to pray for. Let them face theirs too. Boo Haram is still around...so Benjamin is free to blow the whole of Palestine if he wants. Non of my business. I don't care. And if Palestine can blow the whole of Israel, let them. If America can turn its back against Israel....so be it. If the whole world turns against Israel, I don't care. I am not interested in this war. We have our own war we are fighting in Nigeria.

Goodluck to you all.

chukskafor:
My candid opinion bro, don't crossbreed with boilers cock because noiler is a GMO product, my experience handling such project as you are doing now in time past are;
DOWNSIDE: The prototype (offsprings) don't usually give the result you have in mind before embarking on the project, this they are smaller in size compared to the parent ( cock).
Secondly, majority of the cocks are not potent enough to deliver results as hen ends up laying more stale eggs ( table eggs) than fertilized egg.
Last but not least, most of the hen ( offsprings)never go broody, even if they will do, it takes like eternity to happen.

The only good thing about them is that like the parent stocks, they combined the ruggedity and survival ability of their parents.
I am happy this about this comment. The only incorrect information is that Noiler is GMO. It isn't. One of the cocks used for noiler is among the ones I posted above. And this is the reason one should import them if one wants to be sure of getting a full real breed because Nigerians are so dishonest. I laugh at people who incubate noiler eggs. It is why the growth rate aren't that ok. I was chatting with one guy and he felt the fertilized f2 or f3 or even f4 sef eggs he is producing is extra special. I laughed inside and didn't say anything. I just made him feel like he is right so I don't offend him. Perhaps he will read this. If he does, good for him. Lol.

Thank God, Nigeria is renovating various roads so that road networking can be smooth. Infrastructural development is required during a crisis, particularly given Nigeria's extensive destruction. And good railway and sea roads are great. Let's keep it going. Then, we will get into skyscrapers and real urban development soon.

Civil engineers, builders, environmental experts, sustainability experts, and town planners, prepare for explosive career growth in Nigeria. Nigeria will begin to build skyscrapers (particularly in Lagos) and other architectural structures over the next 20 years. Nigeria is about to experience an explosion in infrastructure development. Consider how South Korea compares to the North. Any state that refuses to move will be left behind. Choose the right candidates for governor, senator, and house of representatives.

But listen, if you are 30 years above, start hustling for your life and maintain good health. This development will be ripe in the next 20 to 30 years. Will you be around then? Will you be in good health by then?

The problem with humans is "greediness." Why? If you look at this situation, this is like Joseph of the BibLe. Even... Isaac. How? You make it big during farmine.

You will all make it big. But no way. These people will bring their madness. Consultants will come and dupe newbies. Lol. However, it is very easy to make money during this time. I follow the news every day, and I knew tomatoes would be in high demand at this time. In fact, it will not come down till next year. What stops farmers from coming together. 15 people should fix 1 ha and take 1 plot each. It can be done, but these people will NEVER make it work.

If you see the situation in Nigeria as a negative, it is a positive for me because we are cashing out steadily and heavily. Lol.

What is stopping you from getting together and buying a carton of broilers? Then share it 5 broilers each. And then, they keep buying like every 2 weeks. That will be 5 broilers for the family every 2 weeks.

What stops them from buying layers and buying feed together to reduce the cost. 5 layers per family give 25 eggs per week. Does this not make sense?

What is preventing them from having home gardens, and those who do not have backyards should help those who do.

What is stopping you from starting a tomato farm? It can be funded by ten to fifty people. And they process the tomatoes into pastes. They can have 6 months to 12 months supply.

There are so many ways to get this job done, but people are too greedy and selfish. This life is simple. 100 people can come together and live without Tinubu and APC. But guess what? They will fight. Someone among them always have a bad idea inside. Someone among them will always cause a fight. They must destroy collaboration. The evil in them will not allow them to come together. It is a curse. A very big one.

This is the problem individuals have in Naija. This is the problem our parents and grandparents refused to solve. We are still battling this demon. It is this evil that will wreck Naija. Believe me...the human mind is desperately wicked, so says the Bible. Who can search it?

Guys....if you can just stay together....if you can work together, Naija will not happen to you. I rather see a light at the end of the tunnel here.

I have created groups like this in the past. I have led WhatsApp and telegram groups of capable farmers. I have piloted many programs. I know the evil in humans.

Right now, my focus is sustainability. Environmental sustainability, green energy, blue economy, carbon sequence and cycle, micro-biology, ecology, and above all....wellness.

Wellness is my top priority at this moment. My vision is to create a network of Nigerians who want to live sustainable life and adopt longetivity. We will live above 100 years in good health. This group of people will make an impact in this world before answering the call of God to rest at the right time. No cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. We will remove them from our life because we know that if we can clean the food we eat, we have solved 80% of the wahala. The rest na exercising and spirituality.

We aren't focused on looting public funds cos we are above that. We are moving forward to make good lives for ourselves instead of depending on Nigeria. Nigeria will never happen to us. Never. We will live good life in it. Say wetin na?

Na who no wan live better life dey complain about the economy. We are tapping into the world economy. I have written a lot about that. Go read my threads. Stay healthy......get rich with peace of mind.

I eat steadily good food. Wetin concern me? Na you dey shout "ebi n pa wa". Lol. Na that hunger go kill ya.
Agriculture › Re: Why Is Food Expensive In Nigeria? by epainos:
The majority of the reasons you mentioned are not what is causing food to be expensive in Nigeria. Although the infrastructure has always been subpar, we continue to receive low-cost food. So you are expecting the government to not tell you to pay taxes. Go to the United Kingdom and the United States and pay no taxes. Lol. Una just wants free things. I am not saying they should overtax citizens, but Nigerians do not pay taxes. Pay your tax. Settlements made while traveling are not taxes; they are plainly exploitation, which is a fraud. However, the amount is minimal and should not increase the cost of food. Be realistic.

The real reason food is expensive is because of forex. Period. Our economy relies on the dollar. Inflation affects all aspects of the economy, including food production.

Furthermore, the usual seasonal glut due to a lack of infrastructure and well-organized marketplaces will continue to have a negative impact. This issue has been there for a long time. I believe that the government can only solve it if the private sector enters the industry. This can happen only when the economy is good. So, it is still back to the same thing.

Meanwhile, you should discuss the positive things that are happening right now. We should be grateful for good road connectivity the government is presently implementing throughout the country. Poor road networking has always been a major issue, and they are gradually addressing it. If we continue at this rate, we will be able to solve the problem in about ten years, allowing our railways and waterways to be more efficient as well.

Overall, the world is going through a difficult time. It is not affecting Nigeria only. Rather, now is the time and opportunity for us to correct any mistakes we have made. One of the errors is what this OP still wants. Subsidy and "awoof" must be reduced to the minimal level that is the most optimized. Your parents and grandparents are the ones who put you in this mess because they loved "awoof." And any small payment...na aluta. The government kept borrowing too to maintain that "awoof" thing. And then, politicians too kept on stealing... even they are still stealing till date. Lol. Anyway, that "awoof" thing must stop.

The government is meant to make policies and not pay for everything. Government cannot keep buying you seeds, buying gasoline for you to power your irrigation, buy you nutrients, etc. These are the solutions OP wants... and forget it. Let us all be responsible, at least for the next generations coming. Let us pay the price our useless parents and grandparents refused to pay. Those ones are just useless. Extremely useless set of generations. They had it all free... and they still destroyed it all. A very useless generation.

Go and face your senators and house of rep...mount pressure on them so the government can be forced to implement good policies. Na only the executive arms Nigerians cry about...meanwhile, the legislative arm is where we should really work on because that is where laws are signed. Also, we need to make sure we get a good judiciary.

OP, Naija problems pass wetin you wrote. In fact, I will score you zero over a hundred for the rubbish analysis. Lol. Unfortunately, the way you reason is how millions of Naija reason, and this is why we aren't making progress. Most of you don't understand the real issues that need to be addressed. Instead, na "awoof" you want.

Awoof go bend una finally. Stop looking for awoof. Ask people who understand the real issues that need to be addressed and join the wagon of the right cause.

Good luck!

Give us good reasons why your area's revenue is so low, and let us know why you can't push the products to other areas or even process to something else to give better money to clients you are hustling for? Or you plan to buy cheap from them and you process to garri or fufu and sell at premium price? Oga ....you gat 25 acres na. Why don't you help these people fully. Not bad to use your equipment or labor there. Just collect cash for that na...that's your service...then, let these people gain too in the premium na. If they too will be around with you to hustle.....do it that way..if they won't be around, then, you can buy cassava from them. Lol. I sabi this "paro" na. Consultants dey help indeed. Lol. Sharing brain brain knowledge. Lol.

Oga, relax. When I say relax....relax. Cool off. Clients will come...and treat them well...but for now...just relax. If you don't...na you sabi... Focus on your 25 acres...at N60k per plot. ..you are having N9million sales, but we know sales of 25 acres is roughly N18million. If you turn it to garri or fufu...you can jam N30million or more sales na. So, you be millionaire already na since it is going to be ready soon. I am just wondering why you are so concerned with these little investments new farmers bring up here. Someone with 25 acres cassava that is about to be harvested always stay cool and are relaxed na. "Pepper" is gonna flush out soon na.

By the way, which knowledge have you shared so far here? Lol.

Oga....go relax. Cool off.

Mrdellychy:
120k from 2plots over a period of 10 to 12 months, whether gross or net, is too poor.
A plot should give nothing less than 500 heaps/stands of cassava. Currently in my area , the tuber is sold N50k per 200 stand (they call it one igba and you people are talking about 2 plots which can generate roughly 1000 stands./heaps.
The cost of the total expenses can be offset by intercropping it with stuff like maize that can be sold off in less than 3months.
Lol! I saw it too na. See, there is always an intention behind what humans do. But take it from me, people who pose like "dem dey help you" .....believe me...they have their ways of helping themselves. Lol.

Do you really believe there is a place in Nigeria now of today with the way things are, and the sales from a plot of cassava is around N60k? Lol. Na so dem dey help na and collect 50 to 70% of the sales. Lol.

I don't know why people don't just focus on their projects and pray God should bless them there instead of messing around like this. Na dem dey always get invisible massive acres of crop....lol...like how guy man is claiming ownership of 6 acres around the thread. Lol.

May God help new farmers. The way people who are readynto milk them dry pretend like angel Gabriel and keep delivering "better messages" to them. Lol. Don't be surprised that such people will even add some things inside the farm to make more profit for themselves and they will not share with the owners. Na their ways.

You are excused. You sound too bitter and petty for a man. I hope you observed I avoided your vibes when you were giving the same vibe on your thread.

How you simpletons assume everyone is needy and a scammer without engagement is simply out of this world.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid me.

NB : I am not a multi millionaire but I have six acres farm heading towards harvest as of this moment and I shared from my eight years of experience with the Op. If you're moody, get a sanitary pad for your menses but get out of my mentions, kid
Focus on your six acres, bro. And stop pushing people to do Agric by force. I am happy you avoided my thread because you are too forward. Dem talk land issue...na you get hommies to take care of the situation....na you know the best location for everyone here... grin... Just relax. If truly your six acres is worth something tangible, then you have no wahala.

Insult me all you like.. but just relax. Stop telling people trying to break into agric to get consultants. Na you go be the consultant na. We know how e dey go. I am not against your consultancy service, but just relax. First post...na consultancy you advice am....the man was negative about it, and you moved to getting a lawyer. For what exactly? Has he not got his land? Oga....go relax and stop pushing people. Let the man breathe. I am happy you know when to stop on my thread cos I will dash you what you deserve. Just relax.

You didn't see where he wrote he is doing poultry and fish at home... Does that not signify he is trying to learn? Nope...na consultant and lawyer you push am to straight up. Lol. You better relax.

I don't have your time. And I don't have the energy to argue with anyone. Just relax ....face your 6 acres and pray you make it there...all these...a go buy you land...my hommies are there.....oga relax. If you can not mention the documents, buyers will get freely here...go relax bro. You want to sell land but you don't want to be plain here. Only stupid people will fall for such.

Did I call you a scammer? Even now...did I still call you one? Perhaps you are, and this is the reason you are trying to defend yourself. Lol. Relax. Again, I am going to tell you. Relax. I am not the first person to tell you this...on that land issue...post pictures of your whatever....you no gree...dey vibrate up and down .....OK. Open your thread and put evidence of genuine land that you promised to open...you don do am? Relax. Again...relax.

Be contented with your six plots if you truly have such.

Allow new farmers to breathe.

Thanks so much for your response.
1. Distance.

I opted for a closer distance of 10KM at a significantly higher price than a farther one of 700K per acre of about 40KM.

2. Profitability

As I earlier said, I am not necessarily profit driven from the start. My Vision is just to be an employer of Labour with happy employees thereby helping the economy and also the sense of fulfillment that comes with it. I an not planning to leave my Job anytime soon till maybe I'm 40 in about 6 years time.

3. Time-Factor

Well, Ill like to ask, does having a good investment in.CCTV not solve that challenge?

4. Size

I currently Keep a micro Poultry and Catfish rearing at Home and understand the essense of starting small. I have understood about the importance of keeping a neat and well aerated and cool environment for Birds. Also well Oxygenated and clean water supply.

5. Security

Ill like to ask people who have invested in CCTV of its effectiveness in theft deterrence .

As per consultancy, I am somehow skeptical about Nigerian consultants cos they may just think you have a big money somewhere that you can be taking from Like water grin .

Do you think having a Mentor is better rather than consultancy ?
The only point I am interested in your post is the highlighted part. Guy! This is what you will use to plan your business. This is what you will use to do your business plan. You have started well. Forget the so-called lawyer bull crap. At the right time, you will get one if you need it. And just let go of the idea of using consultants. Forget it mehn.

Drop the details of your small poultry and catfish here... and ask for help. People will help you. Focus on these. Add vegetables to it if you can. What you are doing is called a pilot program, and it is a training ground for you. Keep your records very well...and that will help you with your business plan.

Don't underestimate what you are doing at home now. Let that land be there for now. Do nothing there. Just go secure it so intruders don't claim it. Don't rush. If it will take you 1 more year before you are fully ready, so be it. But just don't consult anyone for now. Now is the time to learn.

I am about to get some Acres of Land with a stream as the boundary about 10km from where Ilive but about 2km from the express road

Some of my Farming Ideas include.

Rice Farming
Cat Fish Farming
Vegetable Farming (Ewedu and Efo)
Maize Farming
Oil Palm Farming
YAM Farming
Also Poultry.

Focusing on just one may be boring to me.

I am a novice when it comes to Farming

I also know a lot of people have dived into Farming in Nigeria and have failed, including.my.Dad who left it due to thieves.

I still beleive that if everything is done right and challenges are properly planned for and handled , Farming is a profitable and fulfilling venture.

I am currently a full-time 9-5 and have about 3 days to work from Home.

I am planning to begin Farming even if its from a small scale.
I will like to be firstly focused on stability of Staff, infrastructure, Logistics and Human resources before thinking of profit. I'll also prefer investing in good infrastructure like surveillance and security at first , rather than profit and ill also prefer to start small.

I just need advice that can help me plan properly and execute the plans.

To established Farmers , what are some advices you'd give to someone like me.

Can anyone help with a Business Plan that has worked?

One of my Friends adviced the best is to invest in BOT companies that will establish the business for you(for instance oil palm) and transfer after about 3 years due to the risks of inexperience.

Location is SouthWest. There is a community close where on can get Labour.
Business Plan:
Relax. Let it slide for now. You will get one at the right time

BOT companies:
Lol. If you love your money, don't.

Again...Relax. Stay still for now. Do nothing. Just be still. So many fake consultants will come up soon. Just do nothing for now. Your thread has exposed you. This is not how to ask for help. Na scammers you dey attract. Do nothing for now.
Agriculture › Re: Need Advice About Going Into Farming by epainos:

1.

The distance is a major major. You need to declare more information about the location. I once secured a fifty acres somewhere but the village had too few people for labour jobs, outside people barely liked to stay even after.coming because they complained about detachment from society. The community was for large scale projects that employs plenty hands for such locality. The locality is key, this determines access to labour and access to you being able to bring external labour when community labour fails.

2. You have ideas and have heard farming is profitable but because of this bulky information, you do not have clear cut visions amd ideas on what to do.

First, define the vision, the vision is amplified in the location and in the project blueprint.

If you ask me, I'd say pay a consultant who would define a path for you, design pathways and help in creating the infrastructure to build the ideas into reality. Your lack of clear direction is too obvious. In agriculture, you do not need to be everywhere and in everything

3. Time Factor

If you still deal with 9-5 jobs it means you need to build this as a passive income earner for you. As a result, you need low attentiveness demanding projects. This means you can't do things like Tomatoes, Watermelon and your best bet is to almost go for zero or extremely little attention demanding crops if crop farming is your venture.

If you will be engaging in low attentiveness demanding farming, then you can do farming in the distant location in your write-up since you won't be visiting too often

If you ask me, I'd say find a consultant that will share vision concept with you. This way you avoid wastage of two years of misdirection and you are armed with 7 -10+ years professional experience of the one leading you !

4. Size matters

Better to have a ten plots of project that succeeds than fifty plots that starts and do not finish. You are right in starting small. Infact start very small if the risk of the venture is over 30%. I can't go into details explaining what I mean here, but when you start small and have mastered the production system, you can expand the concept simple. It obeys the engineering concepts that makes the same engine in a small generator works is the same that makes a big submarine works

5. You can't leave a farm without attention due to theft. These days farms have houses on them with vigilantes with guns on them. I have one of such with a motorcycle so there is round the clock surveillance. This and more are why I say speak with a consultant who will guide you to avoid pitfalls
You really need to relax guy with your style... abeggie. Your experience is different from others. Guy....relax...na you dey land issue...dey wan arrange land for farmers .....na same you dey consultancy...relax guy. Let the guy breath.
