blackpanda: People of the state already know that but they are often to lazy, docile and tribalistic to demand accountability. Given the state more money wont change that. Everybody looks to fg because it easier to criticize a person when he is far away from u then wen he is next door. How many people even know whom their lg councillor is, let alone their rep in the house of assembly?? But they can list all the members of national assembly and tell u all the bad things they are doing. What we need is re-orientation not restructuring. The ngos, media and civil society need to focus more at state level and not just federal. You may find that some states (governors) are secretly richer than fg itself You have just agreed with me. We need to take away the focus entirely from the FG. No orientation will work because the no matter what you or anybody says, the fact is that it's the FG that gives money to the state. That can't continue. Tribalism won't be a tool anymore if restructuring is allowed, hope you know that? There won't be laziness since they're solely responsible for funds generated by their government |

blackpanda: The answer to your question is: NEVER?
With respect to restructuring or devolution of any powers: that makes no sense. States can barely pay salaries let alone adding more responsibilities. The governors and lg council aleeady have more than enough powers to change the lives of their people but greed and corruption are the main problem. What happened to bail out funds given to states?? What did they do with it?? Thats an example of what will happen with restructuring. But then people of that state will know that their government (which is closer to them than the FG) is solely responsible for their progress. There won't be any emphasis on the FG. Most key infrastructures are carried out by the FG and imo State governors are lazy for this. If we remain like this, those parisitic States will never have initiative on how to generate revenue. Few years from now, Nigeria will be worse off. |

You went of tangent by randomly mentioning Hazard without a connection or comparison to either Martial or Henry.
Step aside bruh. I enjoy seeing road. You compared Martial with Adepoju and I compared same Martial with Hazard, how is this deviating? You went way off target when you randomly mentioned Adepoju. You don dey see road now bruh? |

Henry at 21 had played in UCL semi-final and won the World Cup.
Martial should compare himself to lesser luminaries on that left wing with fewer achievements ...like Mutiu Adepoju.
Wait sef. Headmaster had already won AFCON by age 21... Like Hazard that has done nothing at world stage and can't carry his club when it matters in the champions league? |

No whistle blown and everything covered up.. I just think some people in this govt are so selfish and they keep things from the president intentionally. Apc is actually working, at Least we can feel a little bit of their impact even though their tactics seems rash sometimes Which part looks like transparency to you? The part that Kachikwu has been trying to see the president since August? |

Blue3k: The governments can't do it currently with oil so it's moot question in my opinion. In high oil prices the country isn't much better and the infastructure is still trash. We will borrow either way and fix structural issues with economy. It would be worse. A lot of salaries will be owed if revenue from oil is removed. The ideal source of revenue should be tax, but how do you tax people that pay for their own everything? Nobody or entity should be allowed to borrow much more than it's revenue, it will only result in bad debt. As it stands now, masses are already suffering and it's going to be much worse if we allow to borrow more than what they can afford. As it stands, we're currently have some debts, then imagine if there are no money to share at FEC meetings to the state governments. The government and his people won't feel it but the ordinary citizens |

Blue3k: Taxes in general. Then focus on revenue generation outside oil. Revamp of tax code would also be recommended. You don't need to own NNPC to tax oil or fund government if you diversify economy. Are you very sure the revenue generated from tax can sustain government right now? All the roads and infrastructures they still have to put in place? |

We are left with options of choosing between the devil and deep blue sea. I doubt any Nigerian political appointee can resign just like that. They have to be sacked or placed on compulsory leave for them to leave. We don't have that resigning culture no matter how sane we are. We can actually choose either of the deep blue sea or the devil and make the best outta the situation. An ordinary boycotting of every political rally, political towns meeting can go a long way. If everyone with the same voice demand dividend of democracy from our governments, they will know we are serious. But as long as we have people struggling for 1k to attend political rallies, we will continue to experience bad leadership |

Made some findings, watched some more vids about Ndidi.. He's a just a rigid DCM.. He's weakness is passing. He gives the ball way.. But he's good at tackling... And recovery, sometimes not successful. Heck, Herrera is good at tackling, interceptions and recovery. The guy is just CM.

ddippset: messi is far far better than ronaldo. football is not entirely about goals goals goals. remove ronaldo's goals and nothing's left. remove messi's goals you have a play making genius who could equally pass as the best midfielder in the world. ronaldo is great as a goal scorer but definitely an inferior footballer to messi. I didn't deviate. Don't say statements you don't mean. Football is all about goals, how you go about to achieve it is your business |

ddippset: messi? this is the most ironical statement ever postulated by man. you need to watch more football. remove messi's goals today, i mean very every single one of them goal, and you still have the best player in the world at your hands. watch more football. I'm sure Messi would immediately trade those dribbles for a World Cup or Copa America final goal. Goals win games and trophies so when you say football is not about goals then I'm wondering what 22 men are running about on the field for and why they rejoice when a goal is scored. |
