There is no where in the world the police will catch someone with stolen goods or funds and rather turn a blind eye or start looking for someone else

No if you are caught with stolen goods and claim you bought it and give necessary info or details you have with you, it's the duty of the force to investigate and prosecute not terrorize, molest, crucify or arrive at conclusions on the media.

While this is commendable and definitely the way forward I don't see this(restructuring and taking over) happening soon or before the next general election. Those useless visionless older generation are still there and they do have the money to sponsor whatever selfish agenda they want too. Right now I don't belong to any party and though I want to, recent events making its way to the media shows that we still have a very long way to go.

That's the Nigerian way. You are declared guilty until you can prove otherwise. Whereas it's the opposite in other places. Seems you encourage this I only hope you don't one day be a victim of this scenario.

Well in a way he is right. His party released money to him so those that released the money should be the ones in custody. But in Nigeria if you unknowingly buy stolen goods just don't let the police get hold of you. You will suffer even more than the thief.

Actually the body language of Buhari was that of someone that does not care about that region or the SE initially. Maybe that was what made guys return to the Creek. But I think they should be considerate a bit.

This is what I expect States government to do. Bring in investors in power, textile, IT, agriculture, etc into their States. Make them comfortable so they can employ your people and also earn foreign exchange for you.

I still think the parents, government and ourselves are the only ones to be blamed. The lecturers are only capitalizing on the situation we have found ourselves as a result of the uselessness of the other factors.
Parents now have learnt some very bad characters. They have decided to transfer home training of their children to the teachers in school. They believe they pay school fees so the teachers should help them train their children.

Am very much interested in how this plays out.
