The general's presence was not even announced by the Imam. He didn't attempt to campaign. He simply observed his prayers and quietly left the mosque.

So are you saying people will not unscrupulously smuggle in rice and tomatoe when there is a total BANhuh :: even though i dont know how the land and air thing relate ... i can prefer land journey because i am Aviophobic
Osinbajo stressed that you can only effects the ban when the local production is encouraged and the production of locally made vehicles are fully on ground.

Agriculture is what we are known for as Africa, production of tomatoes and rice is not a problem if the efficient supports and policies are given to the farmers.

I wonder how you failed to see this in his statements.

People unscrupulously smuggle in vehicles when they cannot pay high tarrif, or how can you prefer land journey to air transportation when the price of air transportation is almost the same with air transportation?

Is that what we want? Eating the future of our children.
It's is criminal to shot up tarrif on imported new and second hand car without a corresponding increase in local production at competitive price.
You only encourage smuggling and the resultant loss of revenue to the government by way of reduced custom duty...
You can't inconvenience Nigerians because of some cabal close to the seat of government ...promising the govt they can meet demand, which obviously is a daunting task..

Slashing tarrif on imported cars will increase smuggling: are U sure your sense has not joined ASUU strike? It is like saying reduction in the price of air flight will encourage land travelling.

People resulted to smuggling as a result of inability to meet up with high tarrif: get that drilled into your skull please.

These were the words of President GEJ which many have misrepresented

Asked about his 'Stealing is not corruption' comment, president Jonathan said he never said stealing is not corruption -
"The word corruption we have abused it and it's not making so much sense. I did not say stealing is not corruption. I made that statement in reference to ex-CJN, Justice Musdapher. A thief should be called a thief. Ole should be called ole! If you say somebody is corrupt people don't know what you mean". He added "A thief is a thief. Don't use the word corruption to cover stealing. Call the person a thief"

Hatred is worse than any sin one can think of. Some hate the President just because of what others have said about him. God knows the hearts of all humans.

God bless President Goodluck Jonathan
The same way some hate GMB because of what others have said about him. God bless GMB/Osinbajo, we are tired of this maladministration.

Okada is not banned in some states like Lagos, it is only restricted. By the way, a reasonable person will not join using okada on Federal highway because it is too risky. That is why I cannot blame the action of some governors.

Crime rate like snatching of bags, criminals escape through bike, shooting while on bike, destruction of legs to the extent that the victim will be rejected by Igbobi have been reduced to bearest minimum.

Nigeria will be good, but her citizens must be ready to pay the price.
