All these people calling his words bluff are doing so becos they have no idea what these people are capable of. First of all, unlike Boko Haram, these ones have dia own money and dnt rely on external forces for funding, they do bunkery and lots of oda oil deals so they got the money.

Secondly, these people have conquered there immediate enviroment which is the land and practically live up in water or can stay longer in water hence, it wud take a whole lot to curb them

Thridly, the kind of weapons they wield is not a joke, forget all these BH guns and Bombs, forget that dey did Armnesty and surrendered their weapons on TV, those weapons dey submitted are the worn out ones cus the real weapons are chilling somwia.

I grew up in POrt harcourt and I was in PH at the time when they started their chaos and trust me, it wasn't palatable, we know the kind of gun shots we heard, No be moi moi guns o, that time we they drink tea dey dodge bullet.

cramjones:
O
Do you work in a bank? Or do you just feel like talking?

-CramJones
CramJones! there is hardly any bank that didn't pay more than 120k for entry level: the bone of contention is 'outsourcing' of staff which has become the order of the day nearly in every sector of the economy. I know more about this and be assured that you are having first hand information here. Tellers, Secretaries, Executive Assistants, Transaction Officers, IT Staff, Customers Service Officers etc were the ones that are languishing in this 'pool of hopelessness' and nobody cares.

This is what the Management of banks have tried in some sisters companies like Ghana, South Africa etc but was vehemently rejected by their Labour Union: I wonder how our own Labour Union has turned into toothless dog that can bark but cannot bite. May be because it has not reached their children's turn, but one thing I believe is that their children too shall soon be partakers in this 'slavery' as God liveth.

Though the essence of outsourcing is to transfer business functions to expert so that such organization can concentrates on its core business activities, it is incredible that this is not the case in Nigeria: the essence of outsourcing in Nigeria is to deprive such staff any other benefits like promotions, growth and developments, on the job trainings, more authorities and responsibilities, e t c

Worst still, this menace has been inculcated in the multinational organizations including KPMG, Pricewater, telecommunications and oil companies.

From my observation and conviction, CEOs, MDs, GMs of the banks turned graduates into slavery indirectly by establishing outsourcing companies outside the banks whereas they are indirectly the shareholders in such companies. They are making use of rampant unemployment opportunities in Nigeria and profited in slavery they have turned many destinies into.

Integrated Corporate Services Ltd at Obanikoro(ICSL), Michael Stevens outsourcing company at Alaka EState in Surulere(MS), Resource Intermediary Ltd (Odeku Street VI), are example in Lagos just to mention a few. for more, click on

This tribalistic bulldog is here again: his comments and threads is nothing but full of tribalism. In fact, he eats with tribalism, sleep with it, and live with it. The other thing he is good at is accusing APC even if it is for the inability of Patience Jonathan to conceive.

The news stated that there was fight between law enforcement agents and Abokis and this is the direction your tribalistic deluded mind follows: Where was it stated that the fight was between Yorubas and Hausas here? Or have you seen a market which is 100% occupied by Yorubas in Lagos. Ohhhhhh! may be you are still suffering from the last Presidential loss, I guess.

It is high time you forget your past and move away from bitterness and hatred as I have 100% assurance that your tribe will still carry the day whether roadside hawking, or otherwise: every tribe has its own strengths and weaknesses, get this fact drilled into your empty skull.

After wasting River state money on APC campaigns, the Judas of Ubima takes a bow.

When he assumed the mantle of leadership under PDP he was in a healthy competition with Akpabio of Akwa Ibom. Together they started meaningful projects. Schools, Hospitals, Roads, Stadium, and lots of developments across both states. Soon as he joined the demonic broom waving party the man changed overnight. He has not completed any project since he joined APC. All he does is to dance like a mad man in rallies and plait women's hair undecided undecided. See Akwa Ibom now, far far advanced while River state is full with uncompleted and abandoned projects.

What is the Judas doing in the church? What is he thanking God for? He is now the most hated man in Rivers and minus joke e get where Amaechi go enter for Port Harcourt en, dem go beat the CHANGE comot e body.

He should pack his property and go and answer to his masters up North. They need him there.... After all Buhari and El Rufai needs to have someone to send errands once in a while.

The Lion of River was a brain behind the greatest revolution that happened in Nigeria. We need him more at national level, and not in a local politics plays in River. He has moved from politics of hatred, regret, to become a national figure whose recognition cuts across tribes, states, ethnic, and religion.

Sai amaechi!

Does that justify ameachi's action? the problem is Nigerians are so blinded by party affiliations. If you read my comment carefully you would notice i did not actually side PDP, i only pointed out that being an APC member doesn't make anyone a saint. Moreso, the fg didn't come out to mock Buhari by saying "let's see how you would be able to govern with these huge debt", ameachi even went as far as saying he wants to see how wike would be able to get loans. i doubt if you know what that means, as a state you have to be so neck deep in debt for banks to say no you are not qualified to get a loan.

Please many political parties have come and gone, Nigeria has remained. Do not get too blinded by party affiliations, I condemn wrong whether it is orchestrated by PDP or APC cos on the long run our collective well being is what matters. My Governor(Uduaghan) is PDP and yet i have been so vocal here on nairaland against his government and at the same time i commend akpabio who is also PDP.
"Though not vindicating amaechi, but remember that nearly all states in Nigeria, including Lagos are living on debt". This was a caption from my earlier statement.

I don't know whether you are drunk or you are suffering from lack of deep summary skills, because even in the face of overwhelming fact, you are still beating about the bush. You can check the meaning of what I said I was not doing - "vindicating" for better clarity if you are confused.

How does stating fact denotes supporting a political party if I may ask? Nearly all states are facing one problem or the other in the face of nothing less than 50% reduction in monthly allocations from FG.

I told you point-blank that almost all states including Lagos with more internal revenue are owing debt coupled with Okonjo Iweala's assertion that FG's workers were being paid with borrowed fund. Or were you deaf some weeks ago when the newly established FG's task force were complaining about non-payment of their salaries throughout the federation?

Open your mind to think straight please.

The second highest earning state in the country is claiming to be broke! ameachi just openly confessed that he mismanaged rivers state treasury. i still say if shettima of katsina was an APC member we for no hear word, he is the only governor that didn't take a single loan. it is time we make it compulsory for governors to work within what their states earn, ameachi is leaving debt for his successor and still has the guts to say "he will see if he can builds schools and roads".

Please don't judge based on party lines, is this kind of utterance supposed to be from any governor on the side of reason?
Is FG not leaving debt for its successor? Even Okonjo confirmed not too long ago that they have been borrowing money to pay FG workers' salaries.

Though not vindicating amaechi, but remember that nearly all states in Nigeria, including Lagos are living on debt.

If you must achieve your set goal(s) in life, always have it at the back of your mind that something(s) must give. It will never be easy. The moment you are fixated at the bigger picture, a temporary issue like empty stomach will not arise.

The whole idea is to get experience and be able to fare well in any competition.
So, a graduate with 1st class didn't give anything before he graduated? If you are sensitive enough, you would have realized that majority leave from hand to mouth in Nigeria. You did volunteer job for many months and you did not lack transport fare not to talk of feeding, you are just lucky take it or leave it.

In the same vein, who tell you that everybody can even have that kind of opportunity to gain experience in such company? I tell you, there millions of graduates ready to do internship if transportation and feeding could be well taken care of.

Get the fact!

@topic, i'll rather do a volunteer job than take a 6k job as a graduate. And before you try to crucify me, I have volunteered in several organisations and I wasn't paid a dime as wage or salary. Atleast, I came and went as it pleased me and I wasn't tied down by yeye rules or badbelle of anybody.

I got the experience I needed, got the connection I needed and when the time came, I moved. No regrets. My idea of "start small" does not include this kind of wicked salary
What about those who did not even know what they will eat after waking up in the morning not to talk of transport fare to the place of internship? Just thank God you have somebody who is responsible for that in your own case.
