In my department, smooth talkers are just too much. Some wouldn't even check your mood to know if you will be interested in what they are about to say or not, they will just keep on blabbing away |

I've got trust issues. I hardly let people into my personal space. Right here in Uni, some see me as their friend but to me, they are more like acquaintances.
I am my own best friend! |

festacman: Figuratively speaking, the success of a farmer is not solely determined by the size of his tool. How well you prepare the soil for tilling, your dexterity in the use of tool, proper weeding after planting and a generous application of appropriate fertilizers go a long long way. You my man is a good agriculturist! |

Otunski: The reason Yahaya Bello failed to pay salaries is very simple and not far fetched. How would you expect a hater of Christians to pay salaries for them to celebrate Christmas? Is not possible na, but I'm optimistic that this Man inhumanity to fellow men will soon end. Hater of Christians? Lol! |

LadyBeee: yes I fear being single and lonely Little wonder for the desperation and vulnerability. I think every person is obliged(or must learn) to enjoy his or her own solitude. This will not only protect you from external factor(person) but also give you a clear definition of who you are and what you need. Also, identify the qualities you want in a man and stick strictly to it. This will guide you not to settle for less.(don't manage o) CAPSLOCKED O OO |

SternProphet: Why are some so afraid of Buhari?. Fear = Inferiority, Fear = Darkness. In fact it is a sin.
One of the things that disqualify you for heaven is fear.
Buhari is just a retired ex military father, grand father and now President. It is clear he will WIN again and hand over peacefully to possibly someone from eastern Nigeria. He has an ideology, an economic policy and a political direction. If you don't agree with those directions , you MUST not vote for him. If you agree you SHOULD vote for him. The situation is simple.
Nigeria for more than 40 years had soldiers we never voted for rule over us. We had no choice but we were even less fearful and more hopeful than now. There is more to existence than politics. There is eternity. Let's us put politics in the right bucket. Nigga what ? |

Being an introvert in a crowded environment is quite tough though. I grew up in ghetto-like area(you can google it "oke aro, akure" ) . In a face me and face you apartment, where you are bound to encounter dramatic folks with condescending attitude. An environment where shouting remains the order of the day. Oftentimes, being calm is mistaken for cowardice. Introverts like myself tend to face more intimidation and confrontation unlike our extroverted counterparts. To protect your interest and integrity, you need a very loud voice and more of aggressive characters. I am not the noisy type, I cherish my calmness a lot. Most times, I had to crawl out of my "shell" to repaint my boarder line to avoid reckless and unnecessary tress-pass. Sh!t was crazy! Also, I hate being preached at if "stepping out of your comfort zone" is the topic. Like why on earth should I step out of my comfort zone? The home of my thoughts, imaginations, mental projections and all. It would be unnatural of me to walk out on them. I feel much safer in my zone likewise minding my own business is exhilarating. In a nutshell, I'm stuck in this zone forever.if you don't like it, it's either you move or I move you. Ain't gat no time for your BS! I just gained admission into university this year though we are yet to resume. My brother told me I have to 'expand' my comfort zone in order to enjoy campus life and I'm like "well, let's wait and see first". Recently, I noticed I'm drastically backsliding in my faith - Christianity. Religion is gradually losing its grip on me. A whole me, a choir member and a bible-quiz representative. Shoutout to Hahn, Capslocked, 1stsonoflucifer, hopefullandlord, Martinez19 and their realistic posts. These guys no dey fear God o I'm very discreet about it till God knows when. Finally, I'm glad I am becoming more established in the understanding of my natural make-up and permanent reality of life. And I'm keeping it 100. I won't compromise my realness for any parental, social or religious conformity. Because this is my nature. This is who I simply am - An introvert! |
