It is really funny how Nigerians clamour for empirical evidences to verify Covid-19 existence in the country, but are quick to believe the words of these conmen without further discernment as to if these words are logically true, important or otherwise. |

Crime › Re: First Bank Robbers In Okeho, Oyo Caught And Burnt (Viewers Discretion Advised) by Epositive(m): 10:54am On Jul 30, 2020 |
First Bank has been a target for robbery in recent times. Late last year, it was the branch in mpape Abuja that got attacked, with the help of an accomplice, but thankfully it was unsuccessful. Earlier this year, I think April or so, another branch in kabba, Kogi state was burgled and many security officials, customers and passerby lost their lives in the robbery operation. Now this is happening in Oyo State, same First Bank. The MD should look into it urgently and should sanitize the employees if need be. From a concerned customer. cc dingbang |

iLUCID: I regret having a babe because helping to pull her up academically pulled me down. My only consolation is that she had a 2.1. Of what use is a 4.xx GPA if you don't make it to first class
I lost a first class scholarship narrowly I was on this boat last semester, not just for her alone but with my group members. I had to halt it. It was beginning to take my time, especially now that I'm combining my academics with learning a skill. |

Lecturebidz: I've many weird attributes but the two significant ones are:
1. Loneliness: I can stay alone in an extremely quiet surrounding. To make matters worse, I hardly step out except at night to watch the stars and feel the breeze 2. I don't celebrate my birthdays. Like (1), I've spent my last 5 birthdays isolating myself from friends and family. All these feels very very normal for me. This is soooo me, I hardly go out too. And prefer my environment quiet and serene. Solitude is luxury to me. Also, I have never celebrated my birthday, not even once. Till date, I don't have the motivation to celebrating it. |

A lodgemate once wore a yellow band and he was harrased for it. The other time, one of my friends( faculty mate) told me how he was nearly beaten for wearing a necklace with African map as pendant. He had to give it to them. |

U1: This is somewhat unkind and inconsiderate! Sorry I had to say that. Did you ever consider the possibility that he didn't know he could have done any of those things? Even if he did, some people are poor with decision-making when disoriented.
Those things you mentioned aren't always as easy as you made them sound here in Nigeria. For example, what if he didn't have a second MTN line? Calling customer care from another network can be another story entirely.
I'm actually shocked that the bank can grant a loan request so easily. And how was it possible for transfers to be made without providing sensitive personal information? Which one be WhatsApp transfer again?
OP, if I were you, the foregoing are some of the questions I would ask the bank. I'd even threaten to take my story to the CBN, especially with regards to those questions.
No bank dare try this crap with me, I tell you. Otherwise, what happened in 1996 might repeat itself.
Omo, so police report and court order na money. Nigeria, I hail thee. What happened in 1996? |

Liliantalks: I still hv issues speaking in public till tomorrow, the last time I did in a compulsory presentation in school , I studied n studied , practiced n practiced thinking I could do it , the big day came, I was asked my question I knew exactly what to say , but my voice was shaking and I was stammering , my lecturer knew I knew the answers but that I just couldn’t express myself, I had to face my lecturer to answer those question. I cried that day ehn, it was embarrassing. Same here. But the trick is to be gentle with oneself. Also, hold on to something even if it's a pen or folded paper tightly. Then find a common face (usually a close friend, not a clown that will provoke laughter ) in the crowd and do your thing. I started getting over stage fright in the university, through anchoring tutorials and engaging in students unionism. |
