Your first language can still be english even though you are from so and so tribe. For example, i am Yoruba but english is my first language because my knowledge of written and spoken Yoruba (which you have reffered to as mother tongue) is minimal (not my fault) and takes a back seat to english. So for IELTS i entered English as my first language.

NO to bold, look for your mother tongue from the drop down list. Yoruba is mine, whats yours?

Hello everyone! I am an Extremely silent reader and I mist say from reading from the beginning of Part 1 through 3or 4, I was able to get my creds evaluated, studied and passed my IELTS in my first sitting , created EE profile and submitted application in July. My score was 437 and so, I'm one of those of us praying and waiting for draw scores to drop to 430s.
I would like to ask a couple of questions though:
1. Will evaluating a second Master's degree and updating on my profile increase my scores?
2. My IELTS scores were L8.5,R8.5, W8 and S8 and my Band score is 8.5. However, I've been feeling my overall band score should be higher, shouldn't it? I guess if it's higher I could get more points too, right?

Please all the gurus in the house ( I know say una plenty) abeg help me. Thanks!

you are absolutely right though, but non of us here knew how they got to know on this particular case shared by newmum. no detail was given as regards his POF, sometimes you don't necessarily have to print SOA (depending on how or what you showed as source of POF), we have seen a lot of such cases where people submit bank letter in CIC format only. for @Sinie I think your question had been answered. if you are not claiming points for any previous work done, pack them to personal history

Now my question is; When filling my application do I fill information of the newborn and attach an LOE explaining the birth or ??

iqas is what their licensing body uses... So I feel it shld be assessed as a professional degree. Besides it's stated on cic website.. That's vet is a professional degree

goodday my efam, please can anyone confirm if a veterinary medicine certificate evaluation with IQAS would come out as professional certificate? to be able to gain more points as that of Msc certificate. Eraytee, It is the whole payment aside biometrics fee. Once you choose to pay 1040, it covers your RPRF and you are left with biometric payment alone. cheers

Application fee (550) is different from right of permanent residence fee, RPRF (1040).

1040 is 550 cost of processing fee + 490 RPRF. Kids pay 150 Cost of processing fee only. And of course 170 for biometrics now.

I have gotten the answer to submitting PP for fams in Nigeria while PA is in other country via your post. congrats once again and have a successful stay in your new country

the reason(s) why people redo it is either they dont have the required 8777 in LRWS or needs higher scores to upgrade their crs score to be able to be a potential ITA chopper . to the bold its once if you get the required score.

I'm a bit confused, I see people mentioning they written the test more than ones. How many are we supposed to take the test?

I disagree with the bold though, have been using his steps and had never scored below 7 in writing module in my 2-attempts with ielts. so I believe its individual perspective. for me Jay and Liz have done well in their teachings. @dumsydsassy1 have said it all in the above post.

Its all going to be well. Which material(s) are you using for Writing? Hope it's not Jay on E2Language? If yes, in my *own* opinion...he didnt really do justice on it with those template he gave out. The examiner now know pple have templates and obviously mark people down
