A massive congrats to you and your family.... what a relief. Bukzie: Hello NL Family.
I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.
It's PPR people!!!
I don't know how to express my joy, relief and excitement. I will post our PPR story soon. It's been a long journey but I am thankful it has ended in praise. AVO has finally released us. To God be all the glory, honour and praise. |

create your profile when you get your ECA, IELTS and ECA are d major doc that must be ready at hand when creating your profile so i think your profile was ineligible because of the above reason. mind you creating that profile before you get the ECA might give your application problem after eAOR. some VOs might raise the issues as regards this. just be patient and get the ECA before diving into the pool johnnybravo1990: I tried to enter the pool without ECA (expecting my ECA this month). After submitting the Express Entry profile, I got a notification/email that I am not eligible.
1. Is the absence of ECA the reason? Note: I was allowed to progress with the online application and submit my profile, even when I filled that I didn't have ECA (mind you, I filled what my education level was equivalent to, which is masters).
2. Should I be worried that my profile has been rejected? I tried to even delete the profile, but I couldn't. |

I fully understood how frustrating this could be cox am in same shoes just like you, had 7.5 in 3 attempts with good scores in all other modules, section 3 as you said is the root of evil in my case too, as earlier advised keep practicing and "double" listen when you get to that particular section. Cambridge materials are the best and you can find it all on this site http://practicepteonline.com/cambridge-ielts-1-13-tests/ there are more than enough to help you through it. Am going for my 4th and final attempt and I believe with full confidence that it will come out good Gods grace. dont be scared this phase will pass Adunnee: I need help. 3rd IELTS exam, Listening is 7.5
1st 7 2nd 7.5 3rd 7.5
All through BC.
I am not tired, I am just scared. What if I write again and it's 7.5
Useful suggestions are welcome. I tried to identify my gaps after my second attempt. It was in section 3 & 4. I worked on it, but I made two silly mistakes during the exams. I mixed up the numbers and stopped answering questions before the end of the exam. I still cannot explain how that happened.
I have written several exams and I have not repeated any, but IELTS has been a pain.
I have asked my husband to write the exam. If he aces it, he would be the principal applicant. I have done the CRS calculation, it will hover around 442 to 450, depending on his scores. It will take him a month to study for it.
What else do you think I should do? |

I'll advice you to let the ongoing ECA for your spouse to continue, concentrate more on maxing out IELTS, by the time that is done then its easier for you to make the decision on the aforementioned Youtook: 444, that is if I max out IELTS. |

this is deep, if you know you know kfrosh: Leave them, let them talk. If they've had W(6.5) in three consecutive IELTS test while passing the rest, they would have understood the essence of having a belief in a Supreme Being.

please what documents were u asked to submit for your spouse? You will submit her meds, PCC, updated POF if what you submitted during AOR covers just a single applicant. marriage certificate for sure would be added as the proof that you both are married.
did u wait for them to ask for wifey's medical cos i was hoping i would do my court, medicals and police for wifey same week as she is in her finals and would have limited time.
your response will be greatly appreciated |

Goodday to everyone and compliments of the season to you all, please I need clarification as regards ielts identification doc.
There is only January 19th 2019 date available for the month of January 2019 in my country of resident, I was unable to apply for this date because it got filled up early, i was so surprised when i saw it, now the problem i have now is that d next available date where I reside is February 9th 2019. My passport will expire 2days before the exam (February 7th). Have applied for new passport since October 2018, but the passport team that came for renewal will be coming January/February (not sure).
Is it possible to register with national ID card? Has anyone done this before? Aiming my 4th attempt, biko make una help a brother. God bless you all. |

if i tell you i dont know the feeling then am a liar, the ECA of my spouse and I will b a yr old this month and next month respectively... ielts had bn dealing with itself all through this year, am a victim of it yes 3 attempts with deficit of 0.5 in listening (3times ooo), you have gone too far to quit. prayer works and it'll definitely end in praise. the bold is never wasted, have spent 600euros on those attempts, its not easy but believe me this phase will pass. stay strong and dont rush taking the test, get over this moment before registering. God'll supply your needs.. Erigo23: Guys this is my first time writing I’m so broken inside I don’t even know what to do again. Writing ielts for the 3rd time and still not making it is devastating. especially for the fact that I’m unemployed and I have to save the money everytime on my own. It’s really devastating. 1st try with BC. LRWS- 8.5, 6.5,7,8.5 2nd try with IDP LRWS- 7.5,8.0,6.5,8.5 3rd try with IDP LRWS: 8.5,6.5,6.5,8.5 This is demoralizing I have done my ECA since August just waiting on this IELTS and now I was really hoping this would be the last time but I can’t believe I have to continue this again next year. I prayed and prayed and I studied and studied still nothing. This is almost 300k wasted. Having to watch my friends that I even told about the program move on and get PPR and I’m still stuck here. lemme just stop typing I’ve been crying since morning. |

responses in bold letters HTGAWM: Hi Everyone.
My concerns please: 1. Will his previous denial pose a challenge or risk us getting the PR even if I am the one to stand as the principal applicant. NO 2. Due to the time frame between denials and court wedding happening (which we plan to take place next month), will it be seen as a desperate move and raise concerns with the VO? (The wedding would have always happened, just that this would make it take place sooner than expected. Just court so as to get the certificate to add to the application). NO IMO if am in your shoes i'll make the wedding happen after your AOR, that will help your score in the pool cox applying as single with the profile you shared (all things being equal IELTS in place) will almost land you ITA. your fiance's refusal is not a problem so far you can come out clean and make it open in your application. you might want to consider adding him after your AOR if adding him now might lower your CRS 3. If No 2 won't raise a concern, is there a time period I would have to wait before creating an EE profile (Though I would be leaving Nigeria back to Canada 5days after d court union because of work issues and this would show in my travel records). create your profile if your IELTS is set, i guess you dont need ECA as you posse a Canada certificate 4. Please Is there any other advice or opinions that can help our situation.
We want to be sure cos He doesn't want a situation wherein his several denials would hurt my chances of getting my own PR since my record is clean and straightforward. his denials is not a problem My thinking is that me standing as the PA will serve as a covering for him.
Please, I will sincerely appreciate your constructive advice and comments. Sorry for the Long post once again. Thank you |

NO to bold...Its good you are looking into that direction to ease things and avoid your file from landing at AVO for common law review (this is just my opinion). you can use any registry, ikoyi is just famous and well recognized by most embassies. furthermore i'd advice you to do the registry thing after AOR while submitting POF for two of you. by doing this you have covered all grounds that could easily attract ADR. your partner would only do PCC and MED after adding her. it will definitely end in praise. ready4glory: Thanks for your honest view, I'll look at going to a registry next month. Please, can we do it at ANY registry? Or must it be Ikoyi?
Also, does that mean my partner would have to do a change of name something before we can proceed? |

go for your interview, since you have gotten to that stage... I dont think there is harm if you eventually get the visa and not use it. have no idea how it plays... but the real deal have been said in the post above. all the best.
