No commission yes but that is just a distraction for a very low rate Bro we can compare your bank rates with people like ASDA, I have done this B4 and all the times when I returned from the continent with Euro after a job there. |

descarado: Anybody understood why refugees coming into UK by boat should go to Rwanda please?
I really don't understand what this is all about? Cos they are not genuine Migrants, they come here to take the Piz and make life harder for everyone else. Who so ever thought of this Rwanda holding place is a genus I swear down, it just solved one of the biggest problem of the UK. This wont stop the boats from coming thought but it will stop people getting freebees. Millions of ££££££ saved |

BorisJohnson: All this ‘no Commision’ talk is not as nice as it seem (from my vast personal experience). What’s the point of claiming ‘no Commision’ while giving shit, very shit rates?
In any case, I think it doesn’t make sense to have naira physically, then change it to dollars. Then further change the dollars to pounds. If my fear is fake £ (or old £), I will do barter. Deposit the naira into someone’s acct and get em to transfer genuine £ to mine. What do you mean by shit rates? have you actually gone there? Rates are displayed on there and its up to you if you go in to change, their rates are market value in real time, Now how did they Morrisons mange to give you a rate you considered shit when it was displayed in front of you B4 you went in and you still went in even after you determined the rate was shit? You sim to 4get morrisons like Tesco and post offices own their own bank and match the rates of bank of England just like your own personal bank will |

justwise: All the same, the same people that will sell fake £ will have fake $ as well.
There is no point converting naira to dollar in Nigeria then convert it again from $ to £ when you get to the UK. erm how are they meant to know the Old pound notes? etc$ area easier to get than £ cos BTC in Nigeria convert their £ to $ at the 1st opportunity. You also forget the point I made that you can convert it back to ££ once in the Uk at no commission and might even had gained against the £ at that point. |

justwise: ..and do what with the dollar in the UK? Change it again to £? Well yes, commission free at Morrisons, its safer than risking buying fake Pounds by the road side. You are more prone to buying fake $ than fake £. well that's my opinion from personal experience. you want to know that worse part? is buying Old pound note we no longer use. |

I was quoted £400 each at the auto center I took my car to, I told them no I can’t buy 4 injectors for £1600, else I will add money and get another car… So following the advice I got several quotes through Ebay for £150 each, which means buying 4 will cost me £600 as opposed to the auto center £1600… I will be going to the scrap yard by 2 pm to see what I’m paying for myself, I will have it tested and if it works fine I will pay asap….
My drive time to work both to and fro is about 1 hour 20 minutes, and I’m using old model IS220d (2007), if after spending this much money and it starts doing nonsense again, I will be selling it asap… Make one car no go send me go back home Bross Im hoping you sold this car |

Suggestion/advice is highly welcome on this plan if mine. Rany4all: Intruders can gain entrance from other sides of the compound not in view from the windows of the security house na, so your logic doesn't really add up. Your security man will also not be looking out of his windows 247 and the windows cannot even offer a view all round the perimeter of the compound, so that is even worse than a down time for CCTV. If I'm not mistaken, I believe CCTV can be linked to more than one monitor, including smart phones, so I see no reason why the security house cannot have a monitor as well. And you can always back up your CCTV with alternative power, to reduce down time.
As for having his windows closed, well except he has A/C in there, I don't see how your security man can stay in there with the windows closed all the time, without any ventilation. I'm pretty sure most peeps without an A/C in their houses do keep their windows open most of the time and this is usually the case with most security houses. I know someone that was shot (assassinated) close up, through his window, while he was asleep. well with CCTV you need internet to view a smart device or else its just recording.and if its a site without no permanent generator or solar then no point.well O think even Dummy cameras with bleeps will do just fine or go DOGs |

topsy23: Good afternoon my people.. The issue of theft in most of our sites these days is becoming alarming. We have a project in Abuja and the installation of first fix started last year August. The second fix was completed early December,. We are meant to start the final stage yesterday but on getting to site all cables were stolen including the load cables to the distribution .
Now who is responsible for this act? After we completed the second fix which is the cabling in early December 2021, POP contractors came and left, Tiler came and left, also the Aluminium guys also came and left . But my concern is that the builder couldn't fish out who could have done this .. Cables of about 2million naira got stolen on site and we have builder supervising the project regularly on site.
My concern is that all the cables removed would be sold as scrap maximum 30k because there was no straight l length in those cables ..
Are we going to blame government for this because of lack of job(an idle hand is a devil workshop )
My client said the it can't be tiler and POP guys because they are Togolese The Aluminium contactor is a Nigerian and he stays more than POP and tilers on site. Who are we going to hold responsible for this act.
We got to Abuja yesterday hoping that the final fix will be completed in the next 8days. we as Nigerians should put security in mind when on any dealings.could cabling be left as the last thing to do on the project?on my build.I'm making sure every window and door plus burglary proof is fitted even paintnt b4 cables go in ot anything that could be stollen go in. |

Amayabor1: You asked one good thing Christianity brought and since the thread was about something that happened in Nigeria, i assumed you meant one good thing Christianity brought to Nigeria and i told you that Christianity brought western education to Nigeria. If you don't know what western education mean, why should we be having this conversation? Let me assume that you went to primary school, secondary school, and later graduated from a tertiary institution like a university. Or you received Islamic education?
What does Sultan Ibrahim Njoya have to do with this conversation? Was he a Nigerian? Mtcheeeew!
What good thing has Islam brought to Nigeria? Jihad and Terrorism right? I know all that, U forgot o ne crucial thing, when the missionaries came to Africa there was nothing like Nigeria, it was just west part of Africa and the 1st place they came across was Calabar. I made mention of Ibrahim Njoya, Im sure you read a piece about how he started his own thing if allowed to grow it would have been our own in teh west. Have a good look at Ethiopia, they have their own alphabets so are the Indians and the chinease. The Egyptians never had that B4 they built all what they did. Being an Engineer, I have studied in the past Ancient un explained Engineering of early men. There was even proof that during the bronze age, we African could extract Iron from its Ore, there is a well documented video of this on youtube when I find the link I will show you, its a tribe in central Africa, this was far b4 the white men could extract iron. there was proof of Iron as weapon in one of the pyramid as well. I wont need to bore you with all this. What I was trying to say is simple, if the white men had left us we would have been by far more developed than they are right about now cos civilisation started with us Africans, its a shame the British had this talks well documented and here you are saying otherwise. If you studied history of early life of the three major tribes in Nigeria, they had well established system of government and education as well. Do not forget that the Uk was colonised as well by the romans' I know you live in Nigeria and your materials to research are limited, however I will try and give you few pointers if you care to read more of this. I am a flued Engineer by trade and the vast majority of techniques we use today were gotten from ideas of old technologies. for refrence see bellow https://thinkafrica.net/african-writing/https://atlantablackstar.com/2014/08/08/11-ancient-african-writing-systems-demolish-myth-black-people-illiterate/https://africanholocaust.net/scriptsofafrica.htmlRead this, you will be shocked http://www.fafich.ufmg.br/luarnaut/Letter%20Leopold%20II%20to%20Colonial%20Missionaries.pdf https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/guides/zgh9ycw/revision/5 |
