They will be under greater scrutiny as foreign doctors and subject to the usual discriminatory behavior that is rife in many of the listed nations.
There will be no tolerance for any of the nonsense that they get away within Nigeria. U will be surprised to know that the medical dept of our Unis is the very one dept that corruption is minimum.(ja doctors are at a premium in the UK. |

Please quickly take the car to a REPUTABLE place to know the extent of sabotage he has done to your car. The guy knows you know nothing about cars and is fleecing you. emilex1000: Good day every one, pls i would like a very good recommendation of a very good mechanic for my toyota corolla 2005, all this mechanics have been messing with me, yet not fixing the issue, things like noise from the wheels due to either brake pads or brake disc i having been trying to correct but no way, also vibration on the car then check light has always been on since i bought the car despite several checks. Even ran a diagnostic on it but they will clear it and it will still appear. Pls help Abuja only pls. Also considerate and sincere mechanic oh, as you all know, money wise.
See attach of diagnosis your O2 sensors wiring need to be checked, your mass airflow sensors need to be checked and clean, your throttle body needs cleaning too, these are basic maintenance people tend not to do in Nigeria and you end up with clogged systems. your pic 2 of 4, you might need to clean or replace that sensor, But I'm sure there are pros in here who might add more! |

quick one, how did you go about getting this prepaid metre? I need to secure one, please. |
Politics › Re: CBN Direct Banks To Take Over Collection Of Electricity Bills From Discos by erico2k2(m): 10:55am On Aug 25, 2020 |
VCJeks: This should not be priority. Government should rather implement prepaid meter. CBN have just given the DISCOs the leverage to plunge Nigerians in darkness. My neighbor living in his yet to be completed building (Few light points, No AC, no fence lights, No outside lights, No water running in the house, No water heater in Bathrooms, No freezers just a small fridge, etc) receives an estimated bill of over 50k per month. His current indebtedness is over 1M to the Disco. He still have light cos he has been consistently paying 3k per month and pays for reconnection fee of another 3k to the field guys. Under normal circumstances, this man cannot not use power of 6k per month.
Mind you, the Transformer was bought by community contribution of 50k per house, the lines and wooden poles were put up by street contribution of 30k per house, and a new entrant to the street in addition to paying the above charges (now double of what was originally paid per house) would buy concrete pole for the street. After doing all these, the day you connect the light, the DISCO field reps will come to cut your wire that you need to register with 20-30k and then start receiving estimated billing of 50k.
2nd hand Prepaid meter is around 150k (black market) but the evil part is the DISCOs have made it in such a way that if you buy from one state or location to another under the sane DISCO, it will not work.
This is the height of injustice, negligence and decadence in Nigeria.
The solution is simple: PROVIDE PREPAID METERS. I agree with you, the prepaid metre must be fully implemented, I think this is the way to go cos once you have these pre-paid meters you have no more business with them. You will be paying for actual power you use iether from DISCOs or your Generator. |
Politics › Re: CBN Direct Banks To Take Over Collection Of Electricity Bills From Discos by erico2k2(m): 10:52am On Aug 25, 2020 |
happybrother: I am happy on this directive. Before now the discos shortchange everybody because there was no means to track their income but now the CBN and their creditors will monitor. Since every customer ( metered and unmetered) has a billing number, let the list of customers be forwarded to the banks for them to design a payment platform (online and offline),through this all payments will be monitored. Customers can instruct thier banks to be funding their accounts every month. Next line of directive should be on prepaid meter (if possible sold in the open markets like done on Phones)
EEDC Will be worst hit as the rate of their sharp practice is sometimes legendary. I hope it's online if not bank staff will cashing cos of the influx of customers, waiting time might increase, its already caiotic as it is! |

Business › Re: BUA Signs Deal With Turkish Firm To Build 2400TPD Flour Mills by erico2k2(m): 7:54am On Aug 22, 2020 |
mmsen: I hear Nigerians say that the private sector will fix all ills, as if that has happened anywhere else. A strong public sector is vital to rein in the excesses of the capitalist class and direct towards those areas that are needed and not just to make a quick profit. Private sector will not fund the public infrastructure that we all need and use.
Nigeria needs better roads, more rail, public schools and libraries.
It's fine producing but how do you get your goods to consumers if your roads are a joke? what we really and truly need is power3. once that is achieved we are good to go.FG can foxtrot oscar |
Business › Re: BUA Signs Deal With Turkish Firm To Build 2400TPD Flour Mills by erico2k2(m): 7:53am On Aug 22, 2020 |
Spaxon: I believe the Private Sector actually holds the key to the industrialization of Nigeria. Look at Dangote, BUA, LaFarge and the rest of them.
If the Federal Government could Privatize Agriculture and Petroleum or even Aviation
Great changes would be seen in years to come.
But lie lie... They'll rather keep seeing possibilities in looting and re-looting.
I remember Jonathan brought the Land Swapping Deal in Abuja.
And got most of the Private companies build those estates n parks, I went through the money the companies spent on building most of those residential Estates. You'd be amazed . Most budgeted #2billion. That's the amount a Nigerian Politician can comfortably loot.
The future lies in the Private Sector.
For those Space Bookers below me. I can see Buhari's personal griller the thing is the political class are to greedy and scared to invest their loot in Nigeria cos for the amount needed one need bulk cash.where does one get that from? The Agric sector is open so is aviation. |
