lanre2009:
good morning guys. pls i have an issue with my 2006 honda accord. the radiator is a single cell. It got cracked due to someones carelessness. I am being adviced to install a double cell type and direct the fan to always be on anytime i switch on the ignition. Is this advisable? Or should i just install a signal cell type and leave the fan the way it is.?

I also noticed that fuel consumption has increased on the car, pls what could be responsible for this?
Replace with same single cell radiator and leave your fan the way it is.Oh yeh arrest who ever adviced you to leave your fan to run always!

fergie001:
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on Thursday said it has recovered three ambulances and a 500KVA Transformer which are Constituency Project items from Sen. Buruji Kashamu.

The agency said the items were part of 2016 Constituency Projects meant to be distributed to Ogun East Senatorial District.

The items were discovered at his Constituency Project Office in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

A statement by the Spokesperson for the Commission, Mrs. Rasheedat A. Okoduwa, mni, said the commission uncovered the items following intelligence alert by a concerned citizen.

The statement said: “The three ambulances which were procured at the cost of N6m each, were meant to be supplied to Obada Healthcare Centre, Oke Sopin in Ijebu North Local Government Area; Community Health Centre, Itele in Ijebu East Local Government Area; and Community Health Centre, Ogijo in Sagamu Local Government Area respectively.

“The transformer is the last of an initial eleven meant for distribution to various communities of Ogun East Senatorial District which were procured at the cost of N3.6m each, bringing the total for the entire eleven transformers to N39.5m.

“The commission received intelligence about the items from a concerned citizen who became aware of the commission’s Constituency Project Tracking Group initiative which exercise has so far covered 12 states of the federation.

“The recovered items were seized and the vehicles were moved to a Police Station while the 500KVA Transformer was marked with the Commission’s seizure seal and in the interim, kept in the custody of the Manager of the Senator’s office.

Lies, that road road won't last more than three years, go and check Apapa-Wharf road constructed by Dangote with same materials and come back and edit your post.
Apapa-Wharf road constructed by same contractor with same materials is already having cracks, bumps and small pockets of potholes.
It will fail cos of silliness and lack of technical know-how, how can you construct a continuous slab which is at the mercy of the element, no space for expansion and no protection of the concrete surface,, the should have covered it with tarmac and use bridge surface technology

This is one of the challenge youth faces in Nigeria lack of exposure and the inability to think out of the box. When you lot get your holiday from work do not just sit eating Eba you guys should try and take yah selves from that entity called Nigeria to get inspirations so you can see the bigger picture and uncover the elephant in the rom.,Now a poster here made a statement that this company constructing the said road is a front for a political big weight you all cast him a hater. Now this so-called company dangote construction has no office or listed in dangote group as one of its company. Does this not tell you something? This company is a front and it is not recorded, but ofcos, as usual, no one can question cos it is dangote, besides can you obtain a contract with an unregistered companyhuh.I'm very sure you have gone to www.dangote.com

Ohh! grin besserwisser! Who is talking about how roads are done in the West, we're taking about types of roads here you're asking silly questions, stop being a wiseass and carry your wahala comot jare!
The ways roads are done in Nigeria are the main reason wh have craap roads in Nigeria.I was saying teh best way to creat a long lasting road is by putting concrete and cement together strengthened with roads and covered with asphalt, this is the way to go. This is how roads are built around the world!. You put sand on ground compressed and lay bare asphalt on it and think it won't wash away really?

Stop meandering with gambit distinctions, there's a clear cut difference between the conventional Asphalt roads and Concrete. That's the point here!

That's exactly the reason why cement is being used, instead of the regular asphalt.
Asphalt is meant to go on top of the cement, cement will react to the element and fail.

40 what? You must be dreaming, that road will not last more than one year before it will begin to fail, there are so many engineering errors.
There intention is good but the way they are going about it is wrong.

The Apapa-Wharf road done with same method have started failing because of the reaction of the cement surface with dirts/gabbage poured on the road and acidic rain.

The Engineers are either ignorant of their mistake or they are trying to cut cost.

Similar type of road constructed in Lagos and some swampy South South states by Julius Berger over 30yrs ago are still standing strong.
You are right, I reckon the road should be covered with tarmac asap!

The hybrid ABS pump, is highly pressurised, when the vehicle is on ready, or immediately the doors are opened, the hybrid brake system, especially the pump, begins to pressurised the system.

Opening any of the lines, with that kind of a pressure, would cause spills either on the body paint, or your eyes/skin, if you're not wearing protective clothing or goggles.
thought you was meant to open it bits at a time in each case
