If you drive a smaller car, yes it doesn't make sense to think about diesels. However, that is not the case if you own a v6 or v8 suv. Those are thirsty. Those get better mileage when powered by a diesel engine.
A diesel BMW x5 gets better mpg than its petrol counterparts. And you can drive the diesels hard without regards for mpg as they deliver their power at the lower rev bands.

Depends on what you call a small car, I have got a BMW E90 and its 2ltr Diesel, ie 320D. There are VW gulf with 1.6 Diesel Engines

But for the MPG Diesel gives, it pays off,I found this with the RRS, the Mrs uses a Jeep which has 3.7 Engine Cap. and the RRS is 3.0litr Cap, the weight of the RRS is almost 3 tone, the jeep is less than 2tone. Jeep petrol a week 20k, RRs in a week 12k.

After driving your vehicle for 30,000 miles. They will wear out and should be changed ,If not your engine will start to misfire. I changed mine last week by myself after the mechanic billed me 675 dollars for tune up.

I had to go to autozone and spent less than 50 dollars on buying both the spark plugs and the wrench and rachet that i used to do it myself.

Drugmaker Johnson & Johnson must pay $572m (£469m) for its part in fuelling the opioid addiction crisis in Oklahoma, a US judge has ruled

The case was the first to go to trial out of thousands of lawsuits filed against opioid makers and distributors.

Earlier this year, Oklahoma settled with OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma for $270m and Teva Pharmaceutical for $85m, leaving J&J as the lone defendant.

Judge Thad Balkman said prosecutors had demonstrated that J&J contributed to a "public nuisance" in its deceptive promotion of highly addictive prescription painkillers.

"Those actions compromised the health and safety of thousands of Oklahomans. The opioid crisis is an imminent danger and menace to Oklahomans," he said in his ruling.

The payment would be used for the care and treatment of opioid addicts, he said.

The outcome of the case is being closely watched by plaintiffs in about 2,000 opioid lawsuits due to go to trial in Ohio in October unless the parties can reach a settlement.

Opioids were involved in almost 400,000 overdose deaths from 1999 to 2017, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since 2000, some 6,000 people in Oklahoma have died from opioid overdoses, according to the state's lawyers.

2014 Range Rover has the 8 speed. Before 2014, all had 6 speed. ZF is the standard but other brands like Ravenol, Addinol are 6 speed fluids. Addinol is launching this October, 8 speed transmission fluid for all 2014 and above transmissions.

V6 gives more power, and better performance but it comes with a price of higher fuel consumption when compared to I4, in terms of resale value i4 has better resale value due to its better fuel economy and lower ruining costs. As for maintenance i4 is easier to maintain when compared to its v6 counterpart. 6plugs vs 4 plugs. When changing oil u wld need more gallons and lesser for an i4..the list goes on.

That fluid you're telling him to use is for transfer case/differential.

The fluid he should use is Transmission Fluid ZF Lifeguard. Good luck with his search.

It is transmission fluid, from my understanding, I have got the ZF on mine which is 8 speed, I think he has a 6-speed gear,( I might be wrong,lejun can shed more light to this I used his model to search bearmach and it gave this as one of them,(Cheapest). It actually says transmission fluid, not differential.
