Politics › Re: We Have Evidence INEC Procured, Installed, Deployed Servers - Two Groups Claim by erico2k2(m): 7:42am On Jun 22, 2019
festacman:
With respect to INEC Server saga, the issues at stake are:
1. Electronic voting and transmission of election results are alien to the present Electoral Act. That was what saved Governors Nyesom Wike and Emmanuel Udom in 2015 at Supreme Court after losing at both electoral tribunals and Appeal Court. Nothing has changed with regards to Supreme Court ruling on this.

2. INEC has maintained that at present it does not have any server containing transmitted 2019 presidential results as beind demanded by Candidate Atiku Abubakar because though pilot electronic voting and collation were done with regards to some staggered States' governorship elections, it was neither adopted nor used for 2019 presidential elections due to legal and logistic reasons: (a) the late passage and presidential withholding of accent of the aborted amended electoral bill and (b) the late passage of 2019 INEC budgetary allocations.

In view of the foregoings, it is mind-boggling why some people engage in daily wild goose chase with respect to INEC Server saga. It is either they are targeting Atiku's money or they enjoy heating up the polity.
We all know this but there is no BAN on it, so it can't be ignored, its like saying every bit of evidence should be covered by the Law, ie photo and video evidence

I have ended this discussion already and would try to resist picking it up further than what i will subtly put.

17 doors paid for, 17 doors supplied in the same value, what money was lost? Matter is not about money lost, it is about orientation, design pattern, colour and dents. If anyone lost money, its the supplier who has to foot extra bills to correct his mistakes. What do we know? We don't even know what actually transpired after the mistake was discovered and we are all here charging up and down.
My friend gerrout, Speaking about what do I know when I said those who lost monies did I peg it to any ID on nairaland huh huhIf U noticed I was speaking in general terms n no specific reference to the post I quoted, I never specified who lost money!Oh NO you must find a way of justifying yourself, reminds me very well of a person in the PAST here.

I believe you never heard of proxy employment B4, I believe this is new to guys in Nigeria, these scams are almost 20 years old in places like the UK.People place Job advert as you will be a remitting agent with juicy salary, you will be placed as self-employed and your job is to have your own Business account and the huge sum will be transferred to you and your job is to remit in cash to an Agent or further transfer it. Innocent people fell prey to this kind of scam, cos the real thieves hid in the shadow and. transfer the money to you and you do the rest and are at risk of being arrested, it took the Uk police much investigation to trace the real issue.Im not saying this is one of them but still, it fits the narative

He can be charged for criminal damage and do not 4get the crb is held for 6 years if found guilty. Don't 4get the Embassy is not paying to fix these cars Insurance will so its at no cost to them in the 1st place, its the Insurance company that will claim claims and they will see if its worth it in the first place,The Job for the Police would be to look into the case of Public disturbance cos that would be what is at interest to the crown!

I totally agree with this suggestion. I think it is a brilliant one. It sounds forward-looking and developmental enough for both Federal and state governments to adopt and implement. First, it will solve security problems as extension officers will hear herdmen complaints first-hand and timely to initiate immediate resolution. Second, it will increase livestock production, create employment, expand meat production and boost foreign exchange earnings.

However, the only problem is that it is coming from a Fulani group that is more sensible than Miyetti Allah, which is actually the troublesome group. Will adopting this idea restore corporate sanity and remove bloodletting tendency from Miyetti Allah? If the answer is positive then we can shout "Eureka!", knowing we will soon sleep with two eyes closed.
There is just one problem, movement of livestock and its effect. Cattle should be ranched end off, so we need a ministry to address that too? seriouslyhuh?

go ahead,, try and do a budget shipping and clearing, do a combination shipping with container guys in the Dagenham area, they can give you a good deal for shipping and clearing. Toyota parts are cheap so don't waste time buying any parts in the UK as there are loads of it in Nigeria.
NB: Hope it is for personal use and not for SALE
Politics › Nigerian Man Who Destroyed Five Nigerian Embassy Cars In London Arrested. by erico2k2(op): 9:34pm On Jun 17, 2019
The Nigerian man who destroyed five embassy cars in London earlier today has now been identified as Jeffery Apkovweta Ewohime.

Ehohime has been arrested by the police in London.

Sources said he initially caused problem at the Belgian embassy where his passport was confiscated.

After he was turned back by the embassy because he arrived "late", the 32-year-old lashed out by using iron rods and stones to destroy vehicles parked within the embassy's premises.
Muhammed Babandede, the Comptroller General of Immigration Service confimed the incident in a statement Monday night.

According to him, Ewohime arrived the Nigerian mission in London for passport services.

He said, "He arrived late and was told by the Security that the Mission has closed for the day. He went about destroying Nigeria's diplomatic vehicles worth hundreds of thousands of taxpayers money. The passport in question has been issued since 6th of June 2019. He did not leave any self-addressed envelope for delivery."

Meanwhile, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, senior special assitant to the president on Foreign Affairs, has also reacted to the embassy incident.

In a statement by her media aide, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Abike described the action as "unpatriotic, and an unconscionable act of indiscipline."

In her account of events, Dabiri-Erewa said she received a report that Ewohime went to the Nigerian Embasy in London on Monday.

He had approached the Embassy to collect his passport which expired since November 2017 at about 2 pm and was told collection of passports closes by 1 pm.

He then insisted on collecting his passport, and was told to bring his collection slip which he could not produce.

According to reports from the Embassy, it would be wrong to hand over his passport to him, without his collection slip,

He, thereafter, left agitated and returned from a nearby hotel to destroy about seven cars, five belonging to the mission, and two to visitors who parked nearby.

"His attempt to destroy the high commissioner's car failed as it is bulletproof. I am told that he has been arrested by the police. He destroyed seven brand new cars except the ambassador's car which is bullet proof," she stated.

“This is a despicable act, which must be condemned by all. Of course, the law must take its course."
