That call made to the GA governor alone in the heat of the election is enough to nail him |
Taylor90:Just yesyerday, boko haram still killed 13 people and soldier's in Borno. Tinubu and shetima have sealed the mouth of the local media so it won't be reported. https://www.aa.com.tr/en/africa/at-least-13-killed-in-boko-haram-terrorist-attacks-in-nigeria/2967105 https://www.muslimnetwork.tv/at-least-13-killed-in-boko-haram-attacks-in-nigeria/ https://www.barrons.com/amp/news/suspected-jihadists-kill-13-in-northeast-nigeria-8ba154b3 Let Tinubu continue to be chasing shadows. |
Lol. I reserve my comment |
badoh:Ignorant...how? Pls explain |
Uncle Pearse, omoluabi eko atata. I sight you egbon ![]() Leave these people abeg. Nigerians would respond to his warped economic policy at the nick of time. Time neva reach |
Whalis:Did you read Obi's manifestos at all? If you did, you won't be talking like this. It's not in anyway similar to Tinubu's, on subsidy removal. Tinubu removed subsidy without a palliative in place. It's just like saying to the hungry, go to the dining table and eat your food, when the raw food to be cooked hasn't even left the marketplace |
Mumu people. The moment you accepted their fake promises during the meeting, you ought to have known they'd hike fuel price again. They increased it to 488, you didn't protest. They added 100 naira to it, their lies got you and you shelved the strike. What do you expect? Lol |
joyandfaith:A very bad idea. Even those hailing the move at start are now wailing . They were thinking naira would never exceed 650 naira at the I&E window. Those who gave tinubu that idea simpy wanted him to fail. Now, they've succeeded. There's no way both cost-push and demand-pull inflation won't keep rising. How can the local industry grow with this bad policy? Local industries too dey buy materials for abroad nah. No be everything dem dey get locally. Every cost incurred would be incorporated into the cost of product per unit. Its a very bad move by tinubu. We're beginning to spend like those in the west, when the standard of living isn't relative. |
Seunomobo:It's because you turn the word of God upside-down. Animals are under our control. God gave them to us. While we're under God's control. Animals go nowhere after they die, but we do. We're created with some similarities with God. |
Lies. Why did he remove the leader of Laquaeda if that's the truth?Terrorism was worse in Niger when president was in power. How van you release a head of terrorist organisation in the pretext of fighting Terrorism? Isn't that encouraging it instead? The below was what my friend in Niger said.
|
A large number of the cows we eat also comes from Niger. Nigeria doesn't grow much cattle |
ManirBK:It may delay the project due to breach of trust on the part of our country and leadership. How can you threaten military deployment to a sovereign state when they're not at war with your country, just because you are a head of same voluntary organisation of which both of you are members? Buhari put a lot of efforts into the pipeline project. No sovereign country would have allowed a major gas pipeline pass through their domain just like that, if not for the robust MOU signed by both countries in Buhari's administration. I recalled how many times the Niger people had visited abuja and Nigeria delegates also visited Niger over this project. At some point, buhari sent some Toyota high value vehicles to them, just as a form of donation , which witnessed criticisms across Nigeria. I saw it as a form of saying, thank you to them because Nigeria would benefit the most from the project. Its just like the Mainone cable which travelled across the Atlantic from Europe to Nigeria. Several establishments are now benefiting from it today. What of the revenue and employment generation? This is what happens when you have somone who's ill prepared in government,.someone without a national and International relations experience in leadership position. How can someone use a state's experience to judge, when it comes to national issues?. Fashola or Osinbajo would have functioned better in those key areas. Since he's said oun lokan, let's see how far he'd retard the Nigeria's growth. |
Moh227:I thought tinubu wanted to deploy ecowas troops before. ECOWAS is now divided over that callous move. You cannot enter a sovereign state with forces when they're not at war with you. Have you wondered why buhari, obasanjo, Jonathan and other former leaders have been quiet over that decision? Niger being a landlocked country doesn't mean they can't survive. Sea isn't the only means by which you can reach a country. Land and air are there, even though Nigeria airspace has been shut. They've also shut theirs against ours. Their neighbours are loyal to them so food and other items can enter through their borders into Niger. Hope you know that. FYI, The junta never said ecowas shouldn't come for dialogue and that doesn't change anything, according to my friend in that country who also has a brother as minister. They only frowned at any attempt to deply troops to them. They welcome everybody who means well. SLS , former emir of kano too had seen them last week. Their people are in support of the coup. The ousted president won't be reinstated. As we speak, they're already embarking on moves to speed up transition into a civil rule in less than one year and they're committed to it. They're not gonna stay put. They just want decorum and good governance in their country. |
Hawaii of all places, OMG! |
Babe1994:Sadly, here's not a place to air your concerns. Wait and hear the kind of trash which indomie generations would haul at you. You should have shared this with elderly people instead. @ seun and NLFPMode, kindly create a family thread which will require strict access and permission for commenting. You may deny members of some age groups access to it. 99% of the time, those who genuinely seek family pieces of advice don't end up getting one here. You may create a profile where you'd ask people of their age and stuff. Family marter is a serious matter. Cheers! |
maasoap:Iru isokuso wo leleyii ntori oloun? My dad got married as an adult to a grown up lady. Things weren't so bad as they are today in the 70s. Go and ask your parents and they'd tell you the truth. Unfortunately, most of you born into indomie generation weren't opportune to witness Nigeria's better past, hence the way you reason. My dad attended free schools throughout. Why would he not marry early and enjoy good life? Jobs were waiting for them before graduation. So, when you're a graduate with a good job, what else are you waiting for? You marry and settle down! WAEC result holders back then were hot cake cos Nigeria had a very few number of educated fellows and graduates back then. My dad was employed by National Bank at 18 after he finished form 5 with a good result. At 20, he got married. Mum was going to 19 at that time and this was same with most of his peers in his generation. Bank jobs were paying more than IT and Telecom jobs today. He was able to buy a beetle car called ijapa, brand new by the time he clocked 22 with his salary. Bank gave them and deducted the money for 2 years, in a manner they didn't feel it from their salary. Life was so good back then. A shool teacher could easily afford a car. Mum got enrolled in a nursing school while dad took ICAN courses while working and passed all. He was admitted into 200L direct entry with it when he was already a chartered accountant. Dad was going to 45 when I graduated at 23. So, do the maths yourself. The choice we made in life will only make or Mar us and that's why it's good to choose wisely. This is in response to your post. You don't even know my age when I gained admission and you don't believe one can actually get married at 20 years and with a good job in those days. Blame bad leaders for whatever condition you may be in today. I'm not referring to only tinubu, maybe that's why you called me elupee supporter. This still boils down to sentiments we're talking about and the way of thinking of most of you guys, which had placed you where you are today. Our leader and the real omoluabi, in person of Pa Awo actually wanted everyone to graduate at 22 years, min so he gave our father's the opportunity of free education across our land. I benefited from it in my primary school days briefly. Universities never went on strike in those days. If you enter at 18, you should graduate at 22 and start a life. Is it so today? In America where I once schooled, an 18 years old boy would have owned an apartment, married and started a life, even riding a small car of his own. It used to be same here in Nigeria in the 60s/70s. They even encouraged dad to take that car by national bank, imagine. |

Good luck bro. Maybe by the time you click 40, you'd have achieved all. At 39, I had highlighted all those points. To God be the glory. Good luck and may the Almighty favour and remember those still hustling |
Ay04z:Good. Once there's life, there's still hope |
DeeBaDan:Have! You've been creating jobs at 8? |
Nazgul:Nice but such standards can only happen in a sane country. Nigerians are going through a lot. No thanks to tribalism and sentiments in which they've enmeshed their souls. Look at those who call themselves leaders. Their children fly private or chartered jets while the children of the masses they cheat hardly see money to travel. Our lagos landlord son is a good example. . We'd be wise someday |
Nice2023:How time flies bro. Please don't lose hope. If you're one of those who chose leaders cos of sentiments, you may probably be among those who had fallen victims of empty promises and corruption due to the choice of bad leaders over time. However, don't give up. I'm also in same age range as you. May God restore you and grant your heart desires. Happy birthday!. At 40, you ought to have become either a successful director in a private or public firm if we had a good leader in place. Apart from this, you should be seeing your children in secondary school and the first born planning to enter a university. I was in my first year when my dad clocked 40 and graduated before he was 45. I was the first child. That's how it should be for every citizen. I woke up one day to see grey hair in my beard. I pulled it and later saw 2 strands until I kuku left it. At your age, you ought to have had a house of your own bur our politicians had mortgaged a lot of people's future and yet, we keep following them. It's never too late bro. Let's join hands in chasing g away bad leaders from our society. This is the only country we have. China and Singapore did this and they never regretted till today. God bless Nigeria. |
Praktikals:. Tinubu gaffe big time. Now ecowas is divided. No Nigerian leader has been so disrespected as head of ecowas in history. You're asking for military invasion in a sovereign state of Niger when they're not at war with Nigeria or with any of the African nations? No be insult be that? Did ecowas send army to Nigeria when buhari and his team took over power in the 80s from Shagari, over same reasons? I thought we were wiser than this as a country. Now I know why our former leaders are keeping quiet over the issue. |
The bait the devil is using to catch unsuspecting souls these days. Run away from it...just flee 🏃♀️ |
litigator:NO! That's why the bible says you should pray without ceasing, watch and pray also. There's bound to be temptation, either at work places, or as you drive your way home, or even inside the church....everywhere you go. You're not immune to sinning after being born again. But you don't allow that sin to near you. You can always overcome by praying and dwelling in the word of God daily. That's the best way you can keep His commandments. Remember what happened to the disciples after Jesus resurrected? Those who were into fishing business before meeting Christ went back to their former business, until the day Christ appeared to them and they went back to the ministry. As believers, we should also discipline ourselves and imbibe the spirit of self control. |
Keep deceiving yourselves. Yet, things are so expensive in an unprecedented manner. Imagine these clown saying the diversion of diaspora remittance to bdcs was responsible for the free fall of naira, as if in the era of western union and money gram, people who received money from those in the diaspora never patronised bdcs. |
...and successive governors ruled this state for over 20 years? This is barbaric. Thank you Mr governor |
Tinubulaba:Not true. Alagbo only hawks, they don't advertise. Those saying one herbal medicine can cure 100 ailments at motor parks , using the Public Address System to pollute the air are possible targets |
Long overdue. I guess they've been seeing more of heart and kidney related patients lately in their hospitals |
Great guy, always working hard to reach his goals |
tunjilana:I agree, no system of government guarantees free press than democracy. Sadly the type of democracy we practise in Nigeria today doesn't correlate with its actual meaning. This isn't democracy bro. The only organ who can check them aren't even judiciary because they'd been bought over and corrupted. Military coup is the last resort. China is China today cos they refused to permit the kind of leaders we have today. They executed many of their corrupt leaders. You and I were in this country when the people they're supposed to serve buggled the various warehouses where the so called leaders hoarded the palliatives which belonged to them. You and i saw when politicians were seen sharing those palliatives at birthday parties and were bragging about it. Our NA is the highest paid in the world. We asked for constitutional review such that their excesses would be checked and less number would represent each region so wealth could get to the grassroots but they refused. They only accepted the review of clauses that favoured them and at the expense of the masses ( the people they're meant to serve). The reviewed constitution would have made the centre to become less expensive and each region wouid become stronger. We had practiced it before and each region was prosperous. There were keen competitions on revenue generation and revenues were adequately utilised. No government can build the likes of oau today, which was built woth cocoa proceeds by Awolowo. Each region was in control of their resources. Till date, they've been dribbling the local governments in autonomy. All their money still lands in the hands of their respective governors, who wouid only give them peanuts to develop the LGAs. Those who are opposed to it are the former governors who turned senators at the NA because they feed fat on it. Our style of democracy is enmity to the masses. See universities today. What of health institutions? The only organ who can review the constitution to favour the masses are the military. They'd do it and nobody can alter or challenge them. Our leaders have done worse things that could have caused military invasion. They're only hiding under the cover of the west who tell them soldiers must go to the barracks. I don't support a Military rule, if their interruption wouid be short lived and they'd restore decorum and then conduct a peaceful election, form new political parties, then deal with the corrupt fellows. See vices everywhere? Yahoo boys killing innocent women for riches. Ritualistic practices are on the rise. They serve mostly these same politicians. Your advice or suggestion would have held water in a decent nation. Nigeria isn't decent. This isn't democracy and am sure you're also feeling the consequences of their being in power...the so called leaders who only go there to serve themselves. Its oligarchy were practicing. |
adebayo987:Only your likes would see the juntas as criminals even when 90% of Niger citizens are in support of the coup. Do you live in Niger? They're not like you guys who are suffering in Nigeria, yet smiling cos of sentiments. See the response of my long time friend in Niger
