Don't just react. You guys need to act now. Things can't continue this way. The crop of politicians we have today are bereft of ideas . We are waiting for you guys to form your political party. We will vote you massively. See as politicians boycotted Tinubu's colloquium today, including Buhari. Tinubu now said the colloquium wouldn't hold as planned, addressing his supporters at the Eko Hotel, the event's venue that the reason for cancelling the colloquium was due to those who died in the train attack along kaduna Abuja route today, as if he cared instead of saying the truth that people he was expecting refused to show up. That's how they've been deceiving us. No nation built on deceit ever gets it right . We need to vote all these liars out of power at all cost. We have the number.I wonder why the federal government hasn't declared a state of emergency in kaduna since the invasion of NDA. Last week bandits attacked a plane that was on the runway about to take off to lagos, killing one of the passengers on board and kidnapped unknown number of people but the apc swept it under the carpet. If they could invade the NDA, wetin be airport, as porous as it is, that they'd not invade it? As if that wasn't enough, just yesterday, the terrorists those weak military claimed they killed over the kaduna airport attack went and derailed a moving train along kaduna Abuja route, kidnapping scores and killing an unidentified number of passengers. The apc first said nobody was killed until some of the victims who were VIPs on board who were also members of their party narrated the story to the press. As if that wasn't enough, today-today, the same terrorists attacked another train barely 24 hours after the last attack on same axis and killed over 60 passengers after abducting some passengers. Na like dis we go dey dey naija? |
That river along JUTH Road is so deadly. It has killed a lot of people. The water which looks like a dam wouid swallow any trailer. One couple in 2020 was reportedly drowned inside same river. They were driving along the bank and a strange wind diverted the vehicle into the river. It was those who witnessed the incident that alerted the people around. By the time they pulled the car out. Both of them were gone. |
Mass Defection From APC Begins In Kwara, Osun, Others After Controversial National Convention Meanwhile, it had been reported that there were about 208 ongoing court cases in different parts of the country by aggrieved APC members. The All Progressives Congress has started witnessing massive defection of its members to the opposition party after it just concluded its national convention. This comes on the trail of a heated crisis in the party, despite a charge by President Muhammadu Buhari, for unity. Punch reports that the reconciliation committee headed by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, who is now the chairman of the party, had yet to submit its full report as only an interim report had been handed over to the APC. Meanwhile, it had been reported that there were about 208 ongoing court cases in different parts of the country by aggrieved APC members. However, with many of the cases being concluded, some losers have now begun dumping the party, while others are in talks with the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party. According to the report, members of the APC faction in Kwara State led by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, had removed the party’s flag from their secretariat and members had deserted the building. A member of the state House of Assembly representing the Ojomu/Balogun Constituency in the Offa Local Government Area, Saheed Popoola, who is a leading member of the Lai Mohammed faction, announced his defection to the Social Democratic Party on the floor of the Assembly last week. In a chat with the newspaper on Monday, the faction said it had exited the APC. The Publicity Secretary of the APC faction elected at the parallel congress organised by the group, Ibrahim Sharafadeen, disclosed this in an interview with Punch. “We have exited the APC officially, but we have not declared for any political party. Our leaders have not made any public declaration on which political party we are moving to. We will make it public very soon,” Sharafadeen stated. Asked if the faction would move to the SDP, Sharafadeen said no, adding, “That was the sole decision of Popoola, who informed the Kwara State House of Assembly that he had defected from the APC.” In Sokoto State where there is no APC chairman currently, it was learnt that the PDP had begun making moves to bring aggrieved members into its fold. An APC chieftain in the state said, “Sokoto State is a peculiar matter. The party has no recognised leadership at the moment, because of the court case challenging the congresses. In fact, only statutory delegates from Sokoto, like former governors and others, were allowed to vote (during the national convention). Others, who emerged from the congresses, were barred. “We are aware that the PDP is already trying to woo some of the APC members into its fold. And if this disagreement isn’t well managed, the APC may lose in Sokoto again.” In Zamfara State, the faction led by Governor Bello Matawalle is the recognised one, but the factions led by Senator Kabiru Marafa and ex-governor Abul’Aziz Yari have refused to withdraw their cases from court. The Mafara faction said it would not withdraw its pending cases before the courts despite the national convention conducted last Saturday. The spokesman for the faction, Bello Bakyasuwa, said the pending cases in various courts would be pursued to a logical conclusion. He said, “We are going ahead with the court cases. We have pending cases at various courts and we will not withdraw the cases, because we are still not convinced that we have been treated fairly. “We are challenging the legality of Governor Matawalle’s factional chairman, Tukur Danfulani, and the remaining executive committee members because they were not elected in a legal way. “We are also challenging the reason why the national headquarters of our great party refused to recognise our factional party executives, who were duly elected during the parallel congress held in the state.” Bakyasuwa also stressed that the faction would challenge last Saturday’s national convention as due process was not followed during the event. “We are going to court to challenge the election of Senator Abdullahi Adamu and other national executive members of the party, because of a series of illegalities. We were really not happy with the conduct of the congress and we will not let it go like that,” he stated. On whether the Marafa’s APC faction would remain in APC or not, Bakyasuwa said it was in consultation with lawyers. “We are in consultation with our lawyers on whether to remain in the party or not. So, I cannot precisely tell you what will happen until after the consultation,” he explained. In Osun State, Abiodun Agboola, Publicity Secretary of the APC faction backed by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, said members of the group would wait for the court to decide a matter it instituted challenging Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s eligibility, which is before an Abuja court. He, however, said the group had no plans to defect from the APC adding that it would pursue the matter of Oyetola’s eligibility to stand as the governorship candidate of the APC to a logical conclusion. He stated, “We are not moving to any party and we are not talking to any party whatsoever. We remain members of the APC. The national convention has come and gone. Officers have emerged and they have been sworn in. “That does not mean that we are going to leave the party. But we have a case in court. We are challenging his (Oyetola’s) eligibility. The case came up before a Federal High Court in Abuja last Friday. We are saying that he is not even qualified to stand as the flag bearer of the party in the election coming up in July. We will wait for the court to decide that case before the next line of action.” https://saharareporters.com/2022/03/29/mass-defection-apc-begins-kwara-osun-others-after-controversial-national-convention |
Nathphil:Am telling you. I've stopped watching super eagles' match long time ago cos its full of politics and corruption. You dont expect any thing meaningful from such a team , except HBP. Over 60 passengers were killed in the train attack on the kaduna Abuja highway today alone, barely 24 hours after same terrorists attacked a passenger train along same axis and blew it off with explosives after they ended kidnapping a vast majority of passengers on board. We don't need any world Cup appearance for now. They'd just label us a team from a terrorist nation ni. They'd think our players too have the tendency and be running away from them .I'm still in shock how Nigeria suddenly became a volatile nation. This isn't the Nigeria we dreamt about. |
bizmogl: ![]() Guy, why you dey para like dis nah? For me oo, I have vowed never to watch our national team again until a day politics, indiscipline and corruption are erased from the team. Ordinary Iperu football academy players would have defeated those Ghanaians this evening. Though I didn't watch the match, comments heard from those who did made me feel so. Abeg rest oo. Make you no get high blood pressure on top nothing |
Congrats Lala. Abeg no train am how to catch snake oo ![]() |
Useless government. After spending billions of dollar loan on that elephant project? Common! |
Help2020:Why not tell us that you support Smith? Smith and maybe people like you are the reasons whites lash out at us. From your comment, you simply defended what the idiot of a guy called Smith did to his fellow black in such a gathering? Which offence could have warranted that when an Oscar host, his fellow black was hit in such a manner? Guy, you need to check something upstairs. No wonder our society is riddled with ill-mannerisms, defending a highly condemnable act |

Let him lose it. Black man and misbehaviour everywhere. It's in the DNA. Some migrated to the USA over 300 years ago yet, that black man's character has never eluded them...DNA is so strong my people. If you go to the USA, in spite of their exposure and the fact that many of them have never been to Africa in their entire life since their great-great grannies migrated as a result of slavery to the USA, they still behave like Africans. No white man wouid behave like will Smith had done. He'd just walk away to avoid embarrassment. Their name means a lot to them so, they guide it jealously. I wish Smith could lose the Oscar to serve as a deterrent to others. |
Fahdiga:That was why I didn't bother adding any comment to my previous post. Cos you'd never believe. You can't believe somebody you already hated |

Fahdiga:Adeboye predicted covid-19. Were you in the moon that time? You'd never hear a thing like that but negative stuffs. Wetin you wan gain on top? |
Bros don go dye him hair . E no wan old at all. Hwa to you both |
Batam:Well, i think that's your opinion in a such as my opinion also remains mine. I've heard ipobs on several occasions lashing out at the imo state governor Uzodinma, okorocha his predecessor too. I've been around for a while and I couid tell of a clear difference between Pa Awo, Chief Bola Ige and Bola Tinubu in playing leadership roles nationwide. You can imagine an AD member, an opposition and regional party member being an attorney-general in a ruling PDP and all the members accepted him. Tinubu isn't a good representation of us, I reiterate. Those supporting him are only chasing shadows but thats not my business. If you go to the North, you'd have a different opinion of Tinubu from what they say about him. This is where I visit quite often. I just came back from bayelsa, I touched port Harcourt briefly too. You need to hear what people are saying about Tinubu, i couldn't not even say a word. What happened to Fashola? What about Osinbajo? These men pull weight nationwide more than him. They're men of integrity too. Tinubu should have drummed support for these duos. The moment he came out to declare his intention to run, I knew we've forfeited the slot already. See how this man wouid be disgraced at the primary. The worst that could happen is defection. He'd form a new party. |
osinbanjoisaliar:Lol at your slap Meme. This Will Smith slap don set meme global record oo. You need ti see how they're using it on twitter . Sadly, police said they'd it charge him for the assault. |
iman farouk kperogi hates osinbajo with poasson. But why ? To be honest, South East should produce the next president under whichever party. Apc won't win the next election because as usual, mallam would prefer a Muslim candidate any day. I remember how they shook baba iyabo with sharia just to dabaru his government. Jonathan collect even more of their wahala. The APC would split into pieces soon. On pdp, atiku and Co too have shamefully come out to show interest instead of supporting a South Eastern candidate. We're just experimenting in Nigeria. Na split qe go still split. The level of inequality is so high. |
BigBashiru:You're right but who fights war these days when we're interdependent? Only fools do so, my brother. Even with the Russian needless war on Ukraine, see the was the way sanctions are hitting the entire world. |
MangekyoAlt:Fear America. Did you hear when Biden said Putin shouldn't be in power? I won't say more than that. Maybe his cook wouid be engaged to do the job . Fear America, I repeat. They don't need a Russian size of Missile to take off their enemies. |
Svlla:Guy, see as you're flexing muscle on top nothing. This Russia must be giving you some fortunes for you to have typed all these gibberish my friend . America can do well without Russian oil. Take it or you leave it. By the way, who's talking of shale oil here? Russia is just 2 points above Nigeria on energy endowment. Russia is such a stupid country who believes so much in their little endowment and uses the proceeds to garner armoury instead of developing their county with it. The ongoing invasion of Ukraine would teach them a lesson because it will take a great toll on their economy as they've invested a substantial sum on munitions, not to talk of the ongoing sactions imposed on them. Be calming down. Do you know the value of American investment in Gulf oil( AkA American Oil Corporation, AKA Chevron Oil)? Check out the position of Saudi on the list of oil and gas exporters, Canada too. America has invested in Saudi Arabia oil and gas and so, can always fo away with your almighty Russia for gas dependency. I'm not even talking of their reserves back home yet. |
DigitalStepdad:You don't have to believe. Regardless, such happens on a daily basis along 2nd toll gate going to ibadan feom lagos, Ogere to be precise. He also mentioned the name of the hotel in oyi. It didn't look scripted to me at anyway...different strokes for different folks. On Saturday,a similar event happened here but on a large scale. Robbers intercepted a whole trailer load of pms. They took the truck away and emptied the tank. The driver and accompany were wounded but the RRS intercepted eventually those guys around 4am. They arrested them and collected their gun and knives. It was posted here with pictures. What would you say about that...scripted? |
When i said recently that polygamy was coming back, some slayqueens and feminists took swipe at me here. But I no answer them because I knew they were yet to see the realities on ground. Our women, no matter how influential and wealthy they are, need to humble themselves and pray to God for their own partner because the percentage population of men to women is almost 49/51% now. Some even said women are far more populated than men in Nigeria. How many women would want to marry illiterates, dropouts, poor men, jobless men, out of those making up 49% of our men population? They just need to humble themselves and marry guys and endure with them. They should make their men rich if they don't have money. The mentality of both rich and poor women chasing rich and comfortable men Upandan should end. Afterall, most of their parents weren't born with silver spoons in their mouth. They're not even educated yet they were happily married and gave their children education. |
Svlla:Have you heard of Texas before? What of Alasca? Do you know what they have? America always prepares for the raining day and its because if their prevous experience of war and its effect. Have you wondered why america had oil yet, keeps buying ftom others? The supply shortage would only last for a short while. I hope Nigeria too would learn from them. |
When shigidi wan mess up....owe yoruba ![]() India will remember their decision one day and burst into tears by the time usa finishes with them |
Their wahala. How to unseat them is paramount to us. It will shock all of them. PDP won't also near Alausa next year. Anyone can differ on this. Enough said for now, make I no be like Tinubu wey dey pour words anyhow in the past and those words are nor hurting his life ambition. |
Batam:Mio pelu obo kankan ja wura. Its a statement of fact. |
PrinceOfLagos:I agree with you. Karma has come calling. The moral...mind what you say in public because words are like eggs. That's why I always take swipe at Tinubu and his blind followers which always make them call me ipob simply because I don't share in their dirty political ideas. Is it only Tinubu we have in Yorubaland? We really have a long way to go. I thought Tinubu would have learned from Pa Awo for always being vocal on topical issues. Mallams no dey forget history because they respect history more than any other tribe. Call a fulani man today as young as he could be, of when did they enter Nigeria, where they hail from and how. He would sit you down and tell you everything as if he was there when it all happened. This is what fulanis have taught their children from the cradle. Many of them know the history of Nigeria more than many professors of history. We think they're fools but they're wiser than us. Why I respect these people and always learn from them on certain issues...if they'd kill you in the next hour, you'd never hear pim from them. They keep their plans until they execute it. Tinubu's mouth is too porous. For me, that's not wisdom but foolishness. Its sad to note that none of his followers ever cautioned him over his past altercations. Now, they're holding all he had said in the past against him and saying he can't be trusted. Now, his chickenns are coming home to roost. When you want to catch a monkey, you act like one. Tinubu is a reason many question our intelligence which we're known for. I hope my people would reason now and do the needful before its too late. Yoruba nation had never been so humiliated by any govt than it has been in recent times and Tinubu caused it all. Money can't do everything. It's got it's limit. Where money stops, integrity and wisdom will take over . Let him keep flying his private jets and be dashing the emirs money. They are not daft. Since he caused us the disgrace, he should face it alone. Who's Jonathan to be consulted for presidential pick? Where are our virtues as a tribe? So sad! |
He can't even win in the SS, talk less of other parts of the country. His cultism membership is rated A++. I can't wait for him to be picked by the EFCC the moment his tenure expires , over the planned destruction of sensitive documents in the ministry of education with fire the moment APC took over power, to escape probe of his fraudulent act as minister. See, all of these guys vying for presidency are crooks and corrupt fellows per excellence. What's wrong with us as a nation? Where are the youths who are technicals and profesionals? Please come out and save Nigeria. |
4Play:Haven't they surrendered already by running away from Kyiv? |
