All we ask of ur dementia patient of a president to do is a complete 10mins questions n answer session with journalists so we can mark it as his only achievement for the past 5yrs+

Another reason why there's so much corruption with high level of insecurity in Nigeria. What we have is a bench warmer in aso rock and not president. I remember when obasanjo was in office. He was always visiting States to see how they used their allocation. He would commission projects, send people from abuja to monitor progress etc. This would have brought about a check to all the MDAs and Governors' excesses for fear of being investigated. Obj would go to NDDC, refineries even military barracks to see how our soldiers were faring. While he was still doing all these, there were pockets of corruption reported. You can imagine if he had sat in abuja like buhari and ask people to go and represent him, then give reports. Its as good as asking a cat to visit a rat. During obj era, if you're DG and owned more than one private car, you must explain or you risk being sanctioned. It was on one of his visits that he discovered that fayose a pdp governor in the then ruling party diverted project funds and was dealt with by obj. He set up fake poultry farm. Obj asked fayose if his chickens never defeacate because fayose rented the chickens a day before obasanjo visited. As a farmer, he knew the place ought to be smelling feaces no matter how much you practice hygiene as a poultry farmer. He sent a team from abuja to inspect the farm and all they could find was Bush everywhere and that was the reason for the feud. He dealt with orji kalu too for same reason and kalu never said anything good about him till date for exposing him. We have several of such projects nationwide today which buhari doesn't even know anything about. Corruption under this government is humongous due to Buhari's ineptitude. A president doesnt system in one place.

This isn't about whether heads would roll if come 2023, president doesn't come from the South or North. We no go eva go with them, neither would we go with south east. South south is ripe enough to be a country. We are more populated than Ghana or ivory Coast. We have such natural resources as vast land, marbles, ceramics, oil and water. That one don do.

Jokes apart, Nigeria won't survive the next decade unless all these vices stop.

Yes , I can quote you wella. But you missed it by stylishly omitting the name of obaseki who brought brilliant ideas and development in oshiomole-led administration. Where did you think Oshomole got all the wills and ideas from during his days as governor? Oshiomole even confirmed that obaseki was brain behind his administration's success. Before you attack me, I be confam apc guy with apology to nobody. We preferred obaseki as an apc candidate but since Oshomole dealt with him personally and ensured he didn't contest under apc, he moved to the pdp, and we moved with him because this man did nothing wrong to us as a people. I still believe the rift between them is far beyond godfatherism of a thing. Whatever the cause of the feud, both of them should mend fences.

As an edoman, I remember when obaseki went to China to bring the Chinese who set up the ceramics factory, the largest in west Africa to edo state. The company is the largest in China, their origin and South East Asia, Google it. Now, Nigerians hardly import ceramics because the company is massive, catering for local demands. Same obaseki's idea set up an IPP which supplies the ceramics factory alone and also the host community so the almighty nepa wouldn't interrupt their production and other activities. You see, when a non-edo person is talking, we know by their comments. Tacku

The candidate of Labour Party in the September 19, 2020 gubernatorial election in Edo State, Isaiah Osifo, has advised former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to get the full account of the events leading to the failed attempt to take over the Edo State House of Assembly from all the parties to the issue before jumping to make comments on national television.

Speaking in Benin City, the Edo State capital, on Sunday in reaction to comments attributed to the APC leader on the failed invasion of the Assembly by members of APC, Osifo advised Tinubu to refrain from trying to “impose his retrogressive politics on Edo people” because he cannot succeed.

“In Lagos State, Asiwaju Tinubu has succeeded in putting the destinies of over twenty million Lagosians in his pocket, who must go and prostrate in his Bourdillon residence before they can seek elective positions, buy property and even start a business,” Osifo said.

The Labour Party candidate said “Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has done in three years what Tinubu couldn’t do in eight years, and several years after, by his stooges occupying the seat of power in Lagos”.

“Whereas in Edo State, the illegal activities of area boys and land grabbers have been stamped out of our socio-economic space by Obaseki, but in Lagos, the reverse is the case.

“In Edo State the Geographic Information Service agency, set up by Governor Obaseki issues Certificate of Occupancy in a matter of weeks, and at affordable cost. But in Lagos, the issuance of C-of-Os is still largely influenced by Tinubu, several years after leaving office,” he said.

He alleged tgat it is this kind of culture that “Tinubu wants to foist on Edo people through his agents such as Adams Oshiomhole and the APC gubernatorial candidate”.

“But Edo people will not allow them,” Osifo said.

Nigerian government privatized EPCL (a subsidiary of nnpc that refines Liquefied natural gas) claiming it would scale up capacity but still today nothing has changed we still buy gas we use for cooking and other purposes very high despite the high deposit in Nigeria.
We need to hold Nigeria leaders accountable so that we would know how the wealth of the nation meant for the citizens is used.
