When GEJ talked about negotiation PMB and his cohorts in APC were shouting how can he negotiate with terrorists, now with all the money budgeted and the logistics they claimed to have as a retired general coupled with all the travels to neighbouring countries and international communities for support they can still talk of negotiating with boko haram if they willing then i doubt the ability of mr president to crush boko haram and fulfil the long list of promises he made to Nigerians. 5 Likes |

andyanders:the barrister is good well known in osogbo and its environs by my calculation i think he is scheming for court case to make more money while we don't want delay btw u be pastor cos it be like say u dey read my mind based on creating a scene in the banking hall. I give them till monday reply or no reply mehn we re storming the bank no activity until they resolve the issue. I know say i get lil stubborness and am outspoken am ready to engage anyone even their branch manager. |

Do we have any chance of getting our money back out of court? In 2009 we fixed 400k with one of the new generation banks through a marketer(names witheld for now), for 5yrs which matured in march 2014. The transaction was done in ilesa bt we opened another account in osogbo where we live to receive our interest which we received quarterly but towards the end of 2013 the interest stopped coming we didn't mind thinking maybe its because we are receiving our capital in march of the succeeding year alas! the time came we visited the bank in April 2014 they told us to go and get the statement of account through which we received interest which we provided then they told us that the marketer has been laid off that we should go and look for him because he is the one that can shed more light on the state of the transaction. I was furious i wanted to fight the staff telling me that rubbish after providing all evidence of payment and transaction thanks to my sister who calm me down. We searched for the marketer bt we didn't get him. I told my siblings that they should stop looking for the guy afterall he diid the transaction on behalf of the bank which they didn't deny, i consulted my lawyer who wrote the bank in june this year a week later the bank responded asking us to give them three wks to conduct investigation on the issue and get back to us. My lawyer says we have a good case in case the bank refuse to cooperate but my fear is if we go to court it might take several weeks/mnths and we need the money ASAP. Is there anyway we can get our money out of court if the bank don't give us a favorable reply this week?. |

@refreshrate, the principle of islam has no look alike he is going to report to Allah how he controlled his family which you will not be there to interpret or defend him as just did. @adconline, nairaland has created a platform for you to rant and showcase how irresponsible and immature you are. Islam is a religion with principle as it preaches peace there is but only one path no look alike but if you are sensible enough you will know its illogical for a believer to breed hypocrites. You are not a muslim so you might not understand the tenets of the religion when the holy prophet(SAW) enjoined muslims to avoid hell fire he tasked them to carry their family along i dont judge fashola or do i mention what will happen to him after death? I only mentioned what islam says which is total submission to the will of Allah. If you can abuse someone or his lineage because of your so called religion tolerance what then was your stake when pastor oyedepo refused to help his sister because she didnt join his religion. Common sense allows constructive criticism but not an attack, what effect will being a governor on earth has on judgement day when all creatures will rise and only the righteous would be considered. Personally, i dont see fashola as the type of muslim the holy prophet(SAW) refers to as believers or how does he explain the fact that his children are church goer muslims. He will wake up in the morning to pray subhi and neither his wife nor children living under thesame roof with him will be there. A muslim who cannot control his immediate family to perform solat cannot be taken to be a devoted muslim or is he comparable to his counterpart in Osun state- Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola? |

Can somebody in Rivers state visits Ahoada, can anybody around there confirm this; fellow nairalanders there are people undergoing training at Nigeria immigration service training school Ahoada, Rivers state i didn't believe until i confirm. When Gov Fayose mentioned NIS as part of the paramilitary service he has fixed people some of us don't believe. i heard it from a senior officer who called to confirm it. Someone called our attention to it here sometimes ago but was axed by some of us, Ozugbo, where u dey? like one of your updates; you have been vindicated. |

There is a complete change on the interface of CDFIPB website, i didn't see any list but it is well organized now with all the units properly outlined a page to register which is demanding authorization code.something is fishing, in my opinion though. |

Every polling unit from church street down to fagbesa, oke popo inclusive in Osogbo where i visited was peaceful and orderly. I just hope the whole process will be as successful as that of Ekiti. I am just happy that electorates in Nigeria are now talking more of personality and good deeds rather than political parties or propaganda. 1 Like |

@ruggedcontinue, we must salute the courage of the two graduates and appreciate the gesture of the team of lawyers but my concern is how far they can go, abba moro has the support of the senate president he was a former chairman of their local govt before he chaired david mark re-election campaign committee which helps him become a minister, the fact that nothing has happened to morro even when senate has investigated the botched recruitment and found him guilty shows clearly that he has been shielded by his godfather. This country would have been better and economically advanced if some are not above the law. We can just hope they get a fair judgement from court. #abbamoromustgo 1 Like |

It is pathetic, one will ask, is there really a future for this country?. For God's sake these guys are accused of laundering a whooping amount of money instead of this unwise people to allow they agency in charge do their job they are protesting blindly, yeah it might be politically motivated but the issue is whether they really committed the office, how on earth can just two people cart away such amount of money in a state because their father is the gov, fellow nairalanders, if such amount is thrown to potential graduates inform of competition like demanding for feasible business proposals, proper logistics and sound political will, how many job opportunities do you think we should expect, what do you think will be the economic status of the state in 3 - 4 years?. How much do they give this abokis shouting in the street. why must we attach always politics to crimes. If as gov of a state he is sharing the resources like this with his sons what will he do as a president, God forbid! |

@tomiukah, haba, even Nigeria army training is 6mnths for private soldiers don't always mind these staffs na hype some of them just dey hype don't be surprised that some of them don't even know the latest. @Tek%, sebi u be naija man i don't need to open all my mouth for u 2 understand nah, dem dey call am runs no dull yourself. @u3fine, immigration assistants and assistant inspectors cadre are trained in ahaoda, orlu and kano while command staff training school in sokoto trains assistant superintendent and senior cadres. |

I wonder where some people got their info from, the newly promoted staff of NIS have celebrated their promotion, in my state command, i know 6 out of the 18 newly promoted we have drunk the wine and ate the barbecue and yet somebody is still talking about promotional exams when their CGI have congratulated them, or can there be exams again after confirmation?. As per the recruitment exercise, the board(CDFIPB) will conduct the exam not NIS but serious consultation is going on underground. What i failed to understand is why the so called board will advertise recruitment exercise without exam date, what were they thinking? their counterparts in the defense ministry will always announce exam date when advertising registration on their websites, anyway whenever they choose may God spare our lives and grant us success. All I know is that there would be surprises this year. Take note that too much dependence on agents is the beginning of doom, prepare for the exam as well. |
