How reliable is this information? I went to the T.S and found out that the 25th May batch is likely the last batch for G.T.

Please why did you lie against the Holy-Spirit in the name of been spoken to? You are 28 doesn't mean you're mature but just older. You no longer love her because she'll age faster, meaning you never loved her in the first place. You may destroy your next relationship based on people's opinion. What's the guarantee that even if she's younger, you wouldn't look outside. Guy abeg grow up first.

Labrat, how about your dreams you've always had for your future? Please everything may not happen as you expect but dust your CV and apply for better opportunities. We make a mistake of defining our happiness based on what the society wants it to be. Kindly listen to the poster above me as he gave a good advice. Please move on with your life. All the best.

Career › Advice Needed by Esthered(op): 9:37am On Apr 28, 2018
Good day Distinguished Nairalanders. I need advice urgently from mature minds to make a decision.
I got a job with my current employer in 2015, it is a role where career growth is minimal. I have always has a passion for finance oriented roles but I couldn't land any and I'm not getting younger. Finance roles in my group of companies required experience making me not eligible to apply. I have gotten an opportunity in the another company now & the notice period is too short of which I know I'll have to sacrifice my salary in lieu of notice. The nature of my job requires that I hand over properly to ensure a smooth transition in my absence and my employer is responsible for my education from cradle till I graduated from the University and other things that are too many to list here. I feel guilty wanting to leave abruptly with no notice. My employers are more of a family whereby I have job security as the role was offered to me since I was unemployed for a while. Now my employer has been responsible for my younger sister's education in private university as well as my mothers upkeep due to her health and is the reason I've stayed this long with them. I am likely to loose this opportunity of my family's upkeep to pursue a career in a the financial services industry that is volatile. My expected pay if I get the role may not be able to sustain my mother's health as well as my sister's education which is the most important thing.
I am begin to critically think if pursuing my dreams to the detriment of my mother's health which I may not be able to sustain in the short run. She has lived I life I know but in the end is my happiness is paramount of which money and title is not everything but love is. I am unfulfilled in this position since I know my worth but I can be moved to a finance role by my employer where I will likely learn and grow and my family still been taken care of but the societal expectation of a better title among others is making me think otherwise.
Please kindly advice me if I should take the risk of leaving or staying back to ensure my family is taken care of and a probable offer.
cc: JARUSHUB, other intelligent mature minds.

BTW, why will I have medicals and not resume till 3 months after, a lot can change medically in that space of time.
It should have changed since not when you're there already. Good luck.

As it looks, FBN is in a rush, no one would consider you which such, I know some one from my set back then who missed documentation and asked to differ it to another date, till now he hasn't been called for another documentation.
Thanks for your response as I don't want to burn bridges.

Now listen to me everyone,

We are still sending the mails so if you havent gotten. Dont panick ok!

You guys are not even upto the number we need, so there is room for all.

And guess what: expect a salary review before the end of the year.

Firstbank is rebranding
Firstbank is moving on up to the number one spot..

Congrats to all that got the training school mail.

Decision for 2nd may and not 15th maywas taken due to the urgency.
Yaaah!!! Thanks as what you said was true. I've never gotten an offer letter after rigorous recruitment processes since 2014 when the hustled started officially. The endless tears of when I'll testify as those I started the journey with were flourishing in their career. I got past aptitude test and even to final stages of some companies I applied to but no hope. Finally the struggle is over.

Happy Sunday Dear OP, my mum does it to me but I try to make fun of what she's saying which makes her insist she's serious and may end up laughing with me and I try to digress to ensure the topic is changed. Don't relent on your efforts in what you're doing to improve your finance to enable you support your family as we're our parents investment in Africa. Learn to develop a thick skin and she'll get tired when she sees you no longer react when she starts her comparison.
