Romance › Re: The Main Cause Of Husband Scarcity In Nigeria by Esthered: 8:51pm On Jan 25, 2019
Why not blame the man for his recklessness and than blame the woman who took advantage of him as he made himself available to be exploited.

Egemeole:
madam Esthered even if the boy did not go bank rupt in process it will delay them from been financially balace in their early life and this will result to late marriages in their lives
Romance › Re: The Main Cause Of Husband Scarcity In Nigeria by Esthered: 6:59pm On Jan 25, 2019
I think you're wrong for attributing a man's inability to settle down on time to extortion from women. Please state how many men have gone bankrupt with evidence as a result of women's extortion.

Egemeole:
good am not here to debate on population, but a lot girls are not married I can tell you @ least up to 55% of Nigerian women apart from northern people are not yet married, this is caused by extortion from girls which makes men to be financially balanced in their late thirties. Most Northern girls don't extort from their men, go to north 17years are getting married.

Noted Sir.

5thElement:
I didn't generalize though, I added the word "sometimes".

truth is, no two marriages are the same.

but I feel a considerable age gap MAY help.
Family › Re: Husband Isn't Male Partner But Master By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome by Esthered: 5:41pm On Jan 19, 2019
I've seen couples with less than 5 years age difference and some with their wives older and still build enviable homes. It's beyond age Sir.

5thElement:
That is why sometimes it is quite beneficial for the age gap between the two to be at least not less.....
Romance › Re: I Got Her A Gift Today! by Esthered: 7:51am On Jan 16, 2019
You're such a gentleman. I pray you'll both be true to each other and your relationship will stand the test of time.

Genesiszero:
Hahahaha...... Lol, dude you're kinda optimistic!
Do you mind if I bless you with one? Hahahaha just kidding.... On a serious note some guys don't really treat women sincerely, never make a woman regret telling you she loves you or making the first move to regret that, it's takes high degree of confidence to so, so when faced with one, treat them with dignity. If a woman approach you herself, trust me she'll never joke in that relationship....... If you don't love her, decline in a polite way

Yes I am and single Sir.

truthsayer009:
Are you one of the prudent women in their 20s? Cuz this family section, I can almost guarantee that you guys don't think that way ONLY obviously because you are married and you think differently now.
Family › Re: Why Is That The Average Young Nigerian Lady Doesn't Care To Save For The Future? by Esthered: 6:14pm On Jan 10, 2019
Dear OP, don't use the word average to base your opinion. Limit it to the females you dated or you're friends with. There are prudent women that abound. I hope you get to meet them of which if you do I hope you listen when she suggests investment.

I always look forward to your comments on family section. I hope you'll one day become a professional counsellor and write books and become a best seller. Happy New year Sir.

Acidosis:
Women who want to raise shoulders and compete with the man usually end up in this manner. During your years of dating, you must have shown tendencies of independence (trying to be at par with your man on bills related issues). Some of you even go as far as saying you want to split the bills on Nairaland just to appear "attractive".

Until everyone returns to the core ethics of marriage, we will never get it right.

If your man do not see himself as the sole provider in your courtship days, nothing will change when you're married. The core word is here is courtship not boyfriend/girlfriend relationship though.

As regards the sex, I am speechless reason being that fat/chubby (reasonable fat), for me, is sexy and attractive. I would never understand why some men dislike that.

Frankly speaking, I think you should be more worried about what your marriage has become (from love to hate affair). How a man would boldly say to his wife such condescending words is beyond my understanding. I would never even say such to an annoying ex, an annoying fellow or enemy. I'm always very careful with how I describe people based on looks and appearances.

In sum, I think your hubby has some (more) underlying issues such as lousiness and arrogance (these issues are most likely innate, which you've, over the years, ignored).

Deal with the aforementioned issues ma'am, and sex (should be the least of your worries now) would come naturally.

Music/Radio › Re: Political Discussions On Radio Station (lagos) by Esthered: 8:19pm On Jan 04, 2019
The NBC is pro current government and the radio stations are under threat most times with their license at stake of forfeiture hence the reason for cautioning by the OAPs when callers are against the government. The radio stations are there for business Sir and have to sacrifice them (OAPs) at the expense of traffic they generate to the radio by virtue of their programmes So as to be in business.

Family › Re: My Teenage Sister Already Having Sex With Yahoo Boys & My Father Is An Extremist by Esthered: 10:21am On Dec 28, 2018
Dear OP, she's is causing pain and you're all tired in your family. Do you show her love as a brother, remember that in our teen years, we as girls want to experience the world. I can remember wanting to run away from home during my late teens years because I felt my family didn't understand me. You people should PRAY for her as prayer changes things but remember that prayer without WORK is nothing. The work to be done includes: you being her best friend, don't let her seek validation outside. Let her activities, dreams, passion become your interest and watch her blossom. She'll turn out to be great only if you believe and give her a chance.
Romance › Re: Ladies!!! Get In Here. by Esthered: 8:46pm On Dec 26, 2018
Dear OP, ladies of nowadays define "God fearing" in their own terms. The bible asked us not to be conformed to the standard of the world but be transformed by the renewal of our minds but we define the term based on the standard of the world. Most ladies definition of God fearing men is limited to CHURCH GOING MEN (Church Goers). A God fearing man would live his life in accordance to the word of God but now, as long as he goes to CHURCH and he's popular, regardless of his lifestyle outside the church, he's seen to be God fearing. Remember that we're always on our best behaviour in church.

Romance › Re: I Don't Want Him To Touch Me by Esthered: 4:24pm On Dec 23, 2018
Gloria, some guys express love in touching their spouse. If you aren't comfortable with it then there's no harm in defining your relationship whether it's gonna be a platonic one..... if he can't cope, let him go and don't torment him emotionally to accept your terms to prove he loves you. I know that if a guy loves a lady, he would sacrifice to make it work.
Business › Re: Entrepreneurship In Nigeria Is A Scam And A Multiplier Of Poverty: Part 3 by Esthered: 2:42pm On Dec 23, 2018
The article is deep but shouldn't the government be held responsible as the countries mentioned provides enabling environment for the youths to thrive successfully. Sometimes I ask why Nigeria doesn't produce chocolate with the abundance of cocoa but I have worked in the manufacturing industry and know the cost of energy only, aside machinery and others. I think if the Nigerian youths have the opportunity their counterparts have in developed nations, we may do better.
