Nonexisting1: Only 4 missiles out of hundreds and you're here masturbating. I wonder if all those missiles were sent to Nigeria, by now all of us here for done go into extinction. It was a deliberate strategy by Iran to send the drones first (making Israel to waste Air Defense missiles), before sending the ballistic missiles. |

The picture below was from 2 months ago of him wearing the same shoe he wore with the same agbada this week.
He wore a beads on his neck in the picture from 2 months ago and he did not in the picture he posted this week.
Pro ibo Nairaland members like Lagos1stson from owerri even created a topic to mock the shoe and broke shame Reno, And those mocking the shoes on twitter are ibos and Obidients. They did not know the shoes were made in the SE before they started the mockery. It's not the same shoe. The one he posted thàt it's Aba made is brown. While the worn out one is black. |

What appeal? He pleaded guilty as charged. |

Dialpad: In all you do ..... Never ever plead guilty, only a few understand this... smart lawyers will get you out of this shit.
If the politicians can get out of serious situation, this is a small case.
She could have claimed it was paper money not Nigerian notes ....
If Orji Kalu and Fayose can walk freely, then I think Bobrisky is stupid for pleading guilty Then he would have also been charged and convicted for counterfeiting the Naira, being in possession of counterfeit currency, circulation of counterfeit currency. The jail term would have been longer considering that those are more serious offences. |

Politics › Re: State Police: 20 Governors’ Decisions Ready For NEC May – NGF by Eteka1(m): 9:55am On Apr 07, 2024 |
Most likely outcome of State Police in Nigeria;
(1) Abuse of Power by State Governors with disastrous consequences for our democracy. In America that we are trying to copy, there are robust checks and balances, strong institutions to prevent a state governor using the State police to witch-hunt his opponents, or gain undue political advantage. Unfortunately, the same thing cannot be said about Nigeria.
(2) Effectively funding a State police will be cost prohibitive for a vast majority of States in Nigeria. It is a well known fact that most states in Nigeria find it difficult to pay the salaries of their civil servants. How then will they be able to effectively train, equip and fund the operations of tens of thousands of police personnel in their respective States in addition to the current wage bill?
(3) Ethnicity and tribalism will be a problem in most states. One ethnic group (the Ethnic group of the Governor) dominates the State police. And in case of a crisis between two ethnic groups in the State, these ethnic sentiments will likely come into play as to how the State police reacts to the issues. |

We will unleash state police with all we have on them that in their lives they will never near South East again. i cannot waste my time debating with an empty brain character like you. |

Henryfortune: All you wrote here were maybe perceived disadvantages what about the advantages or is there none....? Pls open your mind to the other benefits of this state policing which is the norms in our present situation and almost in all civilised countries all over the world... With it's few disadvantages it's benefit is more.... Insecurity is a problem and this can reduce it to the nearest minimum Unemployment is another... ..... it's not true. Those factors I stated are overwhelming and will just create the unintended consequences. This is Nigeria where we have what is popularly preferred to as the "Nigerian factor". Instead of that, the Nigerian Police should look into ways to improve upon community policing. |
Politics › Re: State Police: 20 Governors’ Decisions Ready For NEC May – NGF by Eteka1(m): 6:39am On Apr 07, 2024*. Modified: 8:16am On Apr 07, 2024 |
Tinubu should drop this dangerous idea. State police will be used by the State Governors against anyone that disagrees with them politically. That scenario would spell doom for the country's democracy. Furthermore, the usual Nigerian factors like ethnicity will come into play heavily.
Another thing is that most states can barely afford to pay salaries of their civil servants currently. It is highly doubtful that they can train, equip and pay additional thousands of state police personnel. The end result will be chaos and more crimes in most of the country. Please Nigeria is not ripe for this. Apart from the US, most other countries don't even practice such a system.
Before you talk about state police, you must first put in place a system where all the States control their resources and then sends a little thing to the Federal Government rather than the other way round. Just like in the US, Germany and some other countries that practice true federalism.
What we should be talking about now is how the Nigerian Police can improve upon their efforts to put in place community policing. |

Politics › Re: Their Hatred For Wike Did Not Start Today by Eteka1(m): 4:34pm On Apr 06, 2024 |
GenSpecifics: When Tinubu appointed Wike as Minister for FCT, they were at the forefront kicking against it and said it should go to an Abuja indigene .
They never clamoured for such since 1999 until Wike was appointed minister.
They forgot that the FCT will never had happened without Niger Delta resources .
They even constituted themselves under an unconstitutional umbrella known as "Abuja residents" to challenge the outcome of the 2023 elections citing a foolish interpretation of the 25% clause.
The fools rallied around a fraud like how they did with that Msemona JAMB forgery to slander Wike.
Instead of seeking redress in court they began falsely accusing Wike of being Anti Ibo and vowed to resort to their village JuJu.
Are these people normal ?
The answer is a big No!
Their hatred for Wike stems from Wike's quick action to root out IPOB terrorists from Rivers who had been constituting serious security threat and nuisance in Rivers.
Their second reason for hating and dragging Wike to their dead JuJu stems from their belief that Wike rigged their useless last hope Obi from winning Rivers.
Bros Wike, nothing do you. All patriotic Nigerians are behind you solidly . I approve this message fully |

So why has the EFCC, ICPC, NPF and FG not brought charges against this man on his dollar bribe videos after he left office.
No wonder this babanriga crispy dollar bribe stuffing crook started sycophancy and asslicking before his tenure ended just to get a soft landing with the signature fellow criminal he is romancing now. So much moral burden for anti corruption fight under the APC. It's because of people like you that I sometimes see a hopeless future for Nigeria.
