1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ... 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 (of 22 pages)
The answer should be 2. Make 2^n represent an alphabet, say P. That way you will have (6P + P) / 3.5P. |

I perceive that after the elections there would be chaos and mass abductions; people missing anyhow. However, many are praying already so that the days and events would be shortened. But more importantly, i perceive a very glorious future for Nigeria after these troublous times. My advice: WATCH and PRAY; don't be an instrument of violence and be hopeful. May you be alive to see the new Nigeria |

Op I respect your boldness. I don't know if all the people you mentioned above are hirelings, but i am sure of one of them. But one thing is true, when a mystery is made known to a saint, it might be for the saint alone. He might need another express instruction to publish it because, usually, such revelations are personal and many will NEVER believe it. As for people doubting if 'some Jewish man' is coming back to take some people away... Well, He announced his coming more than 4000 years, the wise never doubted that he would come. More than 600years before his arrival in bodily form on earth, Isaiah made his ministry very clear; David declared his resurrection and ascension 14 generations before he came and he eventually came. If he did not lie about his coming, his ministry, death and resurrection, why would it be a lie if he declares that he will return to take his saints? It is only natural for true lovers to be together eventually! My husband cannot just leave me here; he promised to come back for me and i know he cannot lie. Maranatha!! |
Any of the two is okay. Which is easier for you; Biology or Mathematics? I will advise you go for Engineering though; the opportunities are endless. Your destiny shouldn't necessarily be determined by the situation of Nigeria. But then, Pray well, listen to people around you and be determined to succeed in whatever you do. Lastly: The combination below will work well for you: Mathematics English Language Physics Chemistry Biology or F/Mathematics (Medicine/Engineering) Economics Technical Drawing(Engineering/Architecture) Geography(You may want to specialize in Geophysics or Mining) very optional Good luck!! |
@Lafflaff123, for me, Christ reached out to me. I actually answered to his knock on my heart when i was twelve. But afterwards, it was still business as usual; only that, this time, there was usually a notch within that signaled me not to do such again because something had changed. The above continued for 2years, i never knew what I was experiencing was becoming visible to the people around me. I was appointed an executive member of the school fellowship. Since i don't live a life style of pretence, i started praying and trusting God to heal me of these 'little foxes'. I tried to do it by setting rules for myself but then i broke those rules myself. A time came that i gave up trying to help myself.. I gave in to personal bible study, prayers and sincerity. I undertook any spiritual exercise assigned by the fellowship leadership even when i saw senior leaders violating those. I wanted to know the reality of God personally so i was not concerned about what anybody did. Before i graduated from secondary school, even though I was not the president of the fellowship and not a catholic, i was appointed the spiritual supervisor of the whole graduation exercise. Since i don't believe that Christianity is synonymous to mediocrity and failure, i prepared very well for my exams so that the people i preached to while in school would not mock my Christ. Eventually, God being true to his words, i got more than i even bargained for and even became a reference point. The above showed a summary of how it all began, my pre-secondary and post secondary stages were not stated. God took me through so much... To His glory alone, with time, The reality of Him became more true to me than my weaknesses which faded away. Lastly, may i say that irrespective of how things have become, Christ is still reaching out to people. The Old prophet that deceived the young prophet in the book of Kings still received a message from the Almighty God even after he deceived the young prophet - lesson: listen to those 'flamboyant' preachers, but study the scriptures to validate each of their claims; hold on to the truth and make up your mind to know God personally. @BrightEye, you are right; what you described in those last lines of your statements is True Religion. The truth is, one cannot know Christ truly and not be compassionate.. One violates ones own rules in order to obey Christ' own. The more of him we know, the more we want to know him and be like him and the closer we are to the end point of God's purpose for our lives (becoming like Christ in every way). |
Good day all. Having known this path for a while now, i woke up this morning and all that came to my heart was that, No man remained the same after meeting with Jesus of Nazareth. There was one change or the other. I searched the scriptures to validate the above claim... The man at the pool of Bethesda had been there for 38 years; he experienced a turn around when he met the Christ. The mad man of Gerdara prostrated before Jesus; he became an evangelist afterwards. Peter, a frustrated fisherman who had laboured all night and caught nothing met with Christ; he had a net breaking catch and inherited a greater business... Looking into Christ in prophecy as stated by Christ and the Psalmist.. Jesus told the Jews ' your father, Abraham rejoiced to see my day; he saw it and he was glad' Abraham, a childless old man whose heir was going to be his chief slave experienced joy when he saw Christ... Many more examples abound... Now for me, i used to lie even when it wasn't necessary; some people regarded me as a shrewd liar. I also used to get very angry, even when there was no reason for it; i would be ready to even die. I also used to insult people without thinking. I tried to stop each of the above by engaging the instrumentality of discipline and personal resolutions but i failed each time i tried. However, when i came to Jesus, each of them began to fade away as i study the bible, listened to christian messages... Pleasing Christ becomes more important to me than even myself... I can say today that my life has really changed for the better... He is still working on me. The destination is the dawning of a new day, when i see him in glory. Please share your experience and let the world know that this Christ still saves today. |
Brocab, i don't have to argue with you; you have only made a point- if you are convinced then stick to that. Why would i major on minor? Christianity is the most practical thing i have ever known... Honestly for 16years now, i can testify to the reality of this truth. Like i said before, faith is bigger than any feelings or thoughts. Anything done outside faith is sin.. |
Perhaps we should start seeing things differently. Christianity is not synonymous to poverty or mediocrity. Why do we think a business man who is diligent, works hard and smart deserves prosperity but not a man called to serve God, who obeys God his caller to the best of his ability, works hard and diligently, denies himself severally, grows his spiritual muscles well enough to begin to discern evil from good and becomes a principality to the kingdom of darkness? I am a firm believer in moderation; but may i say that NO PRIEST was a pauper in Israel as long as he succeeded in keeping Israel in the path of righteousness. So, every laborer is worthy of his wages.... It is not easy to be a shepherd. I have said the above on behalf of called shepherds and faithful ministers. It is however not unlikely that some called themselves and are not concerned about the sheep. For such, we should learn from the story of the sons of Eli. One shouldn't judge a man's servant for him. Lastly, with respect to tithes payment. I will advise that we all read the scriptures and act based on the understanding the Holy Spirit gives to us since he's the teacher. Meanwhile, i have resolved to pay it not because of anybody but because Peter in 2Peter advised that i should study the Prophets and adhere to their teachings. Since Christ commissioned Peter to feed me in John21, i accepted Malachi3 from Peter through prophet Malachi. This is personal though. We should let faith be the guiding factor; without faith, it is impossible to please God. Shalom!! |
Hello everyone. Please, this is not intended to derail this thread. Can anyone intimate me about the FBN/CITI Bank money markets stuff? Is it more profitable than T-Bills? How easily accessible is the investment in the case of emergency? A prompt and informed response would be appreciated. Thank you all. |
In my opinion, calling Atiku Abubakar a confirmed thief is unfair. He may not be a saint, just like GMB isn't, but i think his reputation was only marred by OBJ and his machineries. Meanwhile, guys, follow the process to the end; go out, exercise your franchise; make it count- but do it with wisdom. Above all however, find something doing, slaughter hunger and kill poverty so that when this episode has passed, you will be there to bring about the real positive change our people and nation deserve. |
As always, i am delighted. Please OP, kindly paste Innoson's Facebook link here. I will also appreciate it if their prices can be stated. Regards. |
mistytohcute:I think so. Read one has 1.5 years post study job search opportunity. Wouldn't know if that is peculiar to Indians though. Meanwhile, i believe anyone who can secure employment, without the legs of a man, in Nigeria, other things being equal, would compete favorably elsewhere. Having said the above, please ensure you put structures on ground here at home before travelling; if you can. Don't become a stranger in your home country at your return. And, good job OP et.,al. |
Guten tag. |
With all honesty, as far as i am concerned, these guys (politicians, APC, PDP, NASS etc) are there for themselves. I find it difficult to trust them to make a decision for the good of the masses. GEJ may not be an angel, but so is GMB and APC. Have we not considered that the 'evil people' from PDP suddenly become 'angels' in APC. They are there for themselves! My submission is, let us all work and break away from poverty. Once hunger is conquered, it will be easier to free ourselves from the yokes of these people. Let everyone get to work, do any legal thing that will make you kill poverty... Remember, there is always jobs for those who are willing to work. Let's choose to be labourers than to be political thugs, let's delay gratifications, set goals, love ourselves and our country and most importantly, let us view life as a privileged existence and Nigeria as a property we borrowed from future generations which must be returned better. These guys have the power we give to them; let's see ourselves as equally important and refrain from being used. |
If my understanding of genetics has not failed me. The presence of the Y chromosome only makes the zygote male and also confers on the zygote some sex-linked traits like, baldness, likelihood of growing beards, height and so on. From what i know, i don't think intelligence has been found as being predominant amongst males, so, the alleles for it cannot be located on the Y- chromosome. It should rather be on X. And if X, since the father and mother donate X chromosomes, it is only obvious that the trait 'intelligence quotient' can be transferred from either the mother or the father of a child. I have explained this using only genetics, remember that environmental factors have become crucial in explaining inheritance today. |
@BobNeli Maybe you should check the dates.... Purefact made those comments in 2009 not 2014. The truth is this, some revealed truths are for personal consumption. That the very Elect wouldn't be deceived is a statement of truth. Peace!! |
farellstone:Great one, starting any business at all requires a great deal of research-if you don't want to be a mediocre or be frustrated few days into the business. In my opinion, businesses are the same. Know your target customers; your location should also be adequately considered; reduce your overhead cost as much as you can, be as innovative as possible; Understand the business well, start with Google and pay regular visit to similar businesses that are already operational and ask helpful questions wisely (you could hire a technical person if you have the wherewithal to do so) and last of all be committed, patient and prayerful. Wish you success! |
Etfash:The above opening has been filled for now. Thank you. |
That the church has gone materialistic isn't anything to debate. However, this man understands the principles of wealth creation, far more than any preacher that I know. He understands the principles of giving, hard work and spirituality. He has greater faith than any preacher I have listened to or read about. With respect to offerings and Tithes. He and his pastors deserve it from the membership. There is none of their branches where you wouldn't find full time pastors. They resume in their offices by 8:00am and close by 4:00pm and sometimes longer. Just the way you and I deserve our salaries by serving our employers, because the pastors fast for, pray for and teach their members, It is only right for the membership to minister to their own needs. Also, there is NO one that will actually hear and practice what Oyedepo preaches that would be poor in any good thing. Take it from me, that man has good understanding of God. Although poor understanding of his teachings make some of the membership go materialistic sometimes; I can't deny that Oyedepo teaches the truth. I don't attend the church anymore because of proximity issues. He however, remains my best author. His faith in God's word dazzles me, his commitment and love for God cannot also be contested... It is only fitting that he becomes an envy of many. |

olabagro:Great feat you have achieved over there; I am proud of you. I do not think it should be so difficult for you to relocate to and practice in Nigeria. However, what's up with that place? From experience, no body has it all. May be there are certain things you are not comfortable with over there; there are also things you wouldn't be comfortable with here. Until one becomes self employed, there is every tendency that one would switch jobs or even countries; so, you can launch out. Visit the websites of the construction firms in Nigeria and apply. Be that is it may, I saw this link on nairaland, kindly help some guys if you can. https://www.nairaland.com/1920930/ask-me-anything-careers-jobs |
temiosunrinde:Wow! Thank you for making my day. My God will go before you and cause doors of favor to open unto you from henceforth; you will not struggle! God bless you richly for this. |
teethom:Hello. To achieve your objective, direct your question to someone or a group of people. It will even be more appropriate to send a PM (personal message) because not many people will like to make such information available in a public forum like this one. Cheers! |
Going through the encomiums showered on this momentous man, I can categorically say that their is hope for Nigeria. I also see how some people are introducing healthy humor. Believe you me, Nigeria is one great country that the world is yet to discover! I believe so much in Nigeria.. And as the great Zig would say '... HOPE is one of the greatest attributes of people who live over the top'. It is logical to substitute Nigeria for people in the quote RIP Zig! |
staggerman:Like you know, hazards vary with the type of industry and the OPs. Having said this, 1. For a Tobacco and allied companies like some brewing coys: Excessive inhalation of the raw raw materials can cause drowsiness, workers could become disoriented and find it difficult to either be effective in driving or adhere strictly to safety rules by keeping off the paths of moving vehicles particularly forklift. 2. Prolonged working hours will also make workers susceptible to vehicular accidents 3. Excessive movements also increase the risk of exposure to vehicular accidents 4. Loading and Offloading of vehicles, if done without proper adherence to safety procedures could expose workers to vehicular accidents. The list is endless... It is generally a function of studying the activities and identifying the various hazards that may be associated with them. I guess, the above options can be easily controlled... For example.. For workers working with intoxicating substances, exposure to such could be limited, first by providing effective PPEs and second by introducing a shift plan. The shift plan would also work for number 2. For 3. Movements should be done only when necessary and more than one person should convey raw materials or products as the case may be. A safety officer could monitor loading and offloading activities to ensure compliance to sound safety practices. Your main job is to carefully inspect activities, identify hazards, assess risks and proffer solutions. |
[quote author=Zikdik post=27043400]The next time you threaten me with anything.. physical or superficial.. I'd make sure you take legal responsibility. If you think I'm bluffing, you're welcome to try.[/ Wow! I am surprised you feel threatened already.... Life is more than contentions! Perhaps there is something you know that you either don't want to acknowledge or that you want to convince yourself is nonexistent. I wasn't threatening you however, don't even know who you are... Just stating the obvious. Do sheath your sword! Peace! |
