Royal155:The rate should be 13% + that way. If there was no money in your account earlier, then the rate is fair enough in my opinion. |
Nigerians! As interesting as ever. A single policy that has a long term benefit but brings a short term discomfort and the table will turn. I just hope we will give Buhari a chance and not expect this budding plant to fruit in a day. As a matter of fact, I am beginning to believe he has a divine mandate; God has been preparing him for more than twelve years. The signs are here and there; O God, let this man fulfil this glorious purpose, let anyone that seek his failure or destruction be disappointed |
chukwudi44:What about the 'minimum of 25% from two-third of the states including the FCT' law? |
It is ironical how we attain success in life through hard work, dedication, commitment and denials. But when it comes to being what the Almighty wants us to be, we see it as bondage. It is also mind bugging to me that, man agrees with the principle of score all and get all associated with betting but argues why perfection is necessary before making it to be with the LORD God. I see the whole existence of man and the visible life as a book that has already been written. We live the pages of the book, we are approaching the end of it, the end of the book to us is future but to the author of the book, the end of the book is past. The aforementioned informed why the Revelator was made to understand that the Lamb of God had been slain before the foundation of the world. Holiness does not put anyone in bondage... Somebody said that some are exploring while others are dreaming... Does dreaming prevent one from exploring? When some of us were in school, we were busy about the Father's business but then, we still came out tops because, the Knowledge of the Holy One is understanding in itself and the mystery of Christ in us is the hope of a glorious destiny. Holiness and Righteousness include among other features the following: hard work, integrity, firmness, empathy, soundness of mind and such like traits. Now which Company, Parent, Woman or Man would not want to have a person with the traits above as a staff, son/daughter, husband or wife? How easy was it for Christ to lay down his life on the cross even though he was aware of the glory that awaited him? Life isn't bird of roses! If you made first class or any good grade while in school through hard work, you are a celebrity in your place of work or a success in your endeavors through hard work, why should making it to your creator bed of roses? |
starlingleanets:I think the Op has made a valid point. There are certain revelations that are for all whereas some are privileged information made known to us by the Holy Spirit. You will agree with me that Daniel, John the Revelator and Saul of Tarsus had some of these revelations. But if the Holy Spirit has given an express instruction that all be revealed to the world, who are mine to say anything different. Like I said Op, please keep it up. Meanwhile for the first person who said 'rubbish'. I have a word for you from Apostle Paul... 'Let him who think he knows know that he does not know as he ought to know'. And by the way, can a sincere person claim to be free when he knows he's empty within? Christ' love to you all. |
And again, confusion everywhere. Op I.e. Annyplenty.. Please keep up the good work. Do not be discouraged! I don't share personal revelations with people anymore except close friends who know me well. I like your scriptural analysis; I am from the same school of thought. But, I enjoin you to just share the scriptures. Use your dreams in parables to explain certain scriptures to any one that ask you specifically. |
Honestly I fear for Nigeria. The rate at which we are going, I hope we won't take so many steps backwards. This 'change' we chant here and there, I am persuaded, will do us no good. This evil wind that is blowing here and there seems to be finally here in Africa's most populous nation. O God, please help us not to miss it again this time. These people that call themselves change agents rarely have any good in them for Nigeria. Gen. Buhari would have been okay in 2011, but now, his desperation has tied his hands and legs. God is about to deliver Nigeria into the hands of the masses and we are saying we prefer servitude. If Jonathan is re-elected, that will be the end of these Generals' undue relevance and access to power. Nigerians let us look well... |

Physiotherapy is a good course, a professional course as many would call it. I did my first degree in U.I., if you intend to cross to Medicine in your second year, then, Physiotherapy wouldn't be a good option because, crossing from one 'professional' course to another isn't allowed. But, Human Nutrition, Biochemistry and Physiology will allow you to cross. Now that is for U.I. as at the last time I checked; it may have changed. However, if you intend to pursue Medicine after a Bachelors degree, then any of these courses: Human Nutrition, Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Vet., Zoology, Botany, Microbiology etc. would do. But then, oftentimes, we tend to understand ourselves better after starting a course of study. As an elder brother, I will advise that you go for a marketable course that will also afford you the privilege of studying Medicine, should you decide to pursue it, after graduation. On that note, I will suggest one of: Physiotherapy (there are few of them and opportunities abound here), Microbiology (it is one of the most versatile courses in the 21st century, there is almost no field you cannot branch into),Human Nutrition (people are concerned about what they eat and what they should eat more than ever before; social groups, religious organizations, NGOs etc invite Nutritionists to advise them from time to time, Blogs on Nutrition would also attract traffic depending on the richness of your research per time, graduates of this course also work in hospitals, Food companies and so on). Furthermore, you may want to study Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry; make a first class or 2.1 and help your doctor friends, who will graduate some 3-4 years after you, get a job? Finally, whatever course you choose, make sure you pass well, know it well. Be ready to work hard and you will go farther than you ever thought you would. Christ' love to you. |
hassrash:Thank you. |
Hi Hassrash. How much would a Mazda Premacy 2003 auto and manual cost with duty? Please reply ASAP. |
I am surprised at the OP's calculation for the FD. This is especially so because of the claim to have invested in both TBills and FD. Well, even after compounded interest, you don't still get up to 750k from fixing 5m at 10% interest rate for 90 days in four places. Don't also forget that with Tbills, your interest is discounted. |
While I feel better that the incidence of bombing and sporadic killings is dwindling through acts like this, I earnestly await the judgment of the Almighty on the sponsors of this people. My heart bleeds when I see youths, that could otherwise be great assets to our nation, brainwashed to kill and to die. |
Honestly, we should allow some issues to rest. If everything would be put under the microscope of God's word, one will find 'errors' in Pentecostal as well as Protestants and orthodox doctrines. Now, you are examining a portion of the catholic doctrine. What about the protestants attitude to tithing... They have declared it still valid not considering the history and yet vindicating people who wear trousers on the ground of history. Conclusion: God is bigger than religion and our minds, let's live judgment to Him. To the best of our knowledge and understanding of the scriptures, we should obey God and serve him through His Christ... When you see 'limitations' in anyone or group, pray for them. Christ' love to all who believe in His death, resurrection, ascension and imminent return. |
berem:Honestly, should we talk about our leader in this manner? We reserve the right to support any political party of our choice; but calling our leader 'clueless' is rarely an act of modesty. Please no offence is intended. |
Congratulations on your successful graduation and grade. To your question 1, since you like medical microbiology; you may want to consider molecular genetics, bioinformatics, genomics, virology etc. I am suggesting the above because of the answers i will give to your other questions. I will suggest Canada, cost would be less than 2million naira other things being equal, you can work while you study and stay back there afterwards. All my friends who went there for further studies are doing fine overthere. Germany is also good, especially because of free postgraduate education, apart from some professional ones like the MBA, you can also work but, language barrier and increased racism, relative to Canada, will make it pale. This is just an advice. I acquired all my degrees here in Nigeria, yet, i have never been jobless. Know who you are, what you want and prayerfully work towards your desired destination. Christ' love to you. |
Hello Op. How much will i get Passat 2005 -2007, how long will the shipping take and what is the modality of payment. Please reply as soon as possible. Regards. |
Taiwo20:I am sorry to derail Op. Please, Taiwo, how much does Passat 2005-2007 cost over there? |
@Blackfase, was there any need for the name calling? It is not civil to call people names; we can make our points known without being offensive. The other three did. That said, there is time for everything under the sun but obedience to our grand commander is an order we should heed in season and out of it. I know we are in the flesh, feel pains, especially for our loved ones; I have lost a very dear one too. But, Christianity is not about what we see now; our kingdom is not here. If we truly believe that the Master has gone to prepare a place for us in his Father's house, then we should pray God's will in every situation. We are told the earth will wax old like garment. Why didn't Jesus allow John and his colleague to call down fire like Elijah? He told them that they were yet to know the Spirit in them. In the Old testament, they were permitted to unleash war on flesh and blood because, their inheritance was a visible one. But today, our inheritance is spiritual and so is our war. For me, I think there is going to be a repeat of 2Chronicles20. The enemies of Yahweh and his Christ will help to destroy themselves. But then, some of them would still turn to Him at the appointed time. I am sorry, I wouldn't respond to any messages on this again. But let every Christian realize that something more important looms. May Jehovah grant us understanding. NB The above was for those who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. So, the argument of whether The Almighty exists or not wouldn't be entertained. |
If this is true, it is certainly against the nature we have received from Christ in this dispensation. We don't fight flesh and blood... We can speak and the end of IS will come. But then, their cup isn't full yet. True followers of Christ are not flesh and blood killers, No! |
@Ifeness, while it is proper to ask questions and analyze arguments and claims; only fools doubt proofs. I questioned His existence, His word and His power before, but today, there is NO MAN or ANYTHING that can make me deny the reality of His existence and dominion. I sure have answers to the scriptures you quoted earlier but the answers are based on personal revelations which many times don't convince other people. In my walk with Yahweh, I have found out that He deals with each one of us uniquely to the glory of His name. You may discredit the Omnipotence, Omniscience and Omnipresence of His Majesty, but for some of us who have seen Him arise for us everywhere we go and in all that we do, surmount seemingly insurmountable challenges, give us victory even when it seemed most unlikely, Heal us when medical science failed and also work in us to heal and restore joy to people's health and relationships; we know He is all in all and fills all. |
@Ifeness. Anyone who have 'seen and partaken of' the supernatural wouldn't argue the existence of the Almighty with you. You are only young and for now, celebrating the knowledge you think you have. When life throws real questions to you, you will find out that at certain points in human existence, man tends to get to his end and hence seek true knowledge that only the Almighty can give. Christ' Love to you! |
ifeness:'No evidence to show that God exists' is different from 'proof to me Yahweh is a Spirit'. I don't need to tell anyone he/she will go to hell just like I don't need to say a student who refuses to be serious would fail. I don't need to prove anything to you. All that I have said to you in this forum did not come from any man, so, I have not quoted any pastor. Neither have I mentioned Jesus or the Bible in all that I have said to you so far. In all, No man can convince anyone who thinks he knows; neither can anyone make up your mind for you. |
@Ifeness does it mean you cannot come across without being offensive? I rest my case. |
ifeness:My posts sought to provide evidences to invalidate your assertion that No evidence of God exists. You will agree with me that you have gone off. |
@Ifeness, I see you are puffed up - You have veered off the subject matter. |
ifeness:First, I am not defending Him; I am only attesting to His existence. Secondly, with respect to 'voice', I take it as audible voice, e-mails or text messages - God is not a physical being, you cannot see Him even though you can hear him. When you talk back at your parents and walk out on them only to feel bad about it afterwards, a voice from within you spoke to you even though it wasn't audible, it was only making you to understand that you were not meant to be that way. As for e-mails and text messages, they are some of the mediums through which man communicates. But then, man needs a computer or a phone to send text messages and e-mails. Just as man send messages using the computers he has manufactured, God speaks to men through men and other creations of His hands. Unless in cases of misunderstanding or trying to create amazement, we send text messages and e-mails to people that are not with us at the moment. For instance, I wouldn't send a text message or do an e-mail to my son when he is with me. God is always in contact with His children, when His children are in contact with Him they hear him directly without having to hear from him through other men(computers and cell phones). When we draw away, he sends people to us. Lastly, 'if he exists, I will know'. That is correct. But then He reveals Himself to whoever He wills at His time. What is the difference between you and a corpse? Is the difference visible? If you see anyone, do you know who he is before he/she speaks or acts or you know him/her by what he/she says? What thinks, speaks and takes decision in a body? Could it be that the visible is only a covering? Could our physical bodies be likened to the packaging of a bread and our 5 senses be the connection between the Man in our bodies and the visible forms? God is beyond the visible; His existence cant be measured by transient activities like replying text messages, sending e-mails and hearing audible voices. If man is an invisible entity living in a body, it is only normal for the Invisible God to relate directly with the Invisible man and not his perishable body. |
ifeness:Do you believe I exist? If you do it is probably because of my membership and posts on this forum; not because you have seen me before. So, sometimes, it is not out of place to believe what we have never seen. Like my membership and posts on this forum are evidences of my existence, so are: day and night, seasons, extraterrestrial bodies, man, the unseen and unheard voice of the conscience that rebukes us when we do what we are not meant to do etc. are evidences of the existence of the Almighty. Also, the fact that we do certain things against our good intentions that we wouldn't have wanted to do implies that another power contrary to good exists - Satan. |
