Politics › Re: Lagos APC Primaries: Tinubu May Have To Cry! - Ayeni Faith Damilola by eurogee: 2:44pm On Oct 02, 2018 |
This is pure trash! Ambode, best governor? Iwu nnoo idiot! Africlegend: Tinubu May Have to Cry!
Asiwaju is a wonder to behold. Tinubu is incredible too. He's undisputably the main man in Nigerian politics today. He's the most powerful whenever the President is not contesting. He was a senator when Nigeria's eyes was closed. He was a Governor when the sun was just rising and, the father of Governors at dawn. Tinubu fought, alongside others, Abacha and won. As Governor, he survived Obasanjo's greenades. Goodluck Jonathan understands that his name is not something of a joke. He did not only enthrone Buhari, but made his former aides vice-president and ministers in his government. Would you then argue that Asiwaju is not something else?
But, Tinubu may cry soon. Either Ambode loses today's primary or not, Asiwaju has a whole lot to fear. When people call you master, don't rejoice, tell them you are only a servant. Unfortunately, with the humiliation of Ambode, Asiwaju is openly calling himself the master of Lagos politics. He's calling himself the driver of Lagos' wheel in the public glare. He's telling lagosians that they are but his balls. He's telling the discerning that he owns Lagos and everything that breathes within its walls and, of course, all that is true; but it is better not said. Tinubu is openly counting his slaves, and our foregoers said wisely, that when you count your slaves, they become so sad. There will always be a counter coup. The people of Lagos will demand freedom soon, they will revolt and, history will repeat itself. The Jagaban of Lagos is planning his own fall and, I'm afraid.
The people will soon ask questions. They will ask Tinubu what the sins of Ambode are and, by the time such questions are being asked, not many answers will drink water. Thesame Ambode that was once acclaimed the best Governor in Nigeria? The same Ambode that has transformed lagos? Would lagosians have to replace him simply because he had refused to be totally submissive to the master? Would they reject him because of his personal issues with the Jagaban? Will any lagosian accuse Ambode of under-performance? Not even when it is public knowledge that this young man has pleaded with Asiwaju, not even when the people of Lagos know that his wife has appeased the god of Lagos politics.
Tinubu has enemies within the APC, not many Abuja politicians are pleased with him, or so it looks. It will not be a cup of tea to fight Ambode (maybe then as the opposition's candidate ), the opposition, the people of Lagos and, his in-house enemies at the same time. Discretion is a better part of valor. This is only an agidigbo drum, only the wise dances to it and the knowledgeable understands its lyrics.

You are very stupid by saying ambode is working. Blind Ewu Pope22: Before Sanwo starts rejoicing, he needs to sit down and ask himself: Ambode was once Tinubu's favourite, Ambode is working, what would make Tinubu turn his back to Ambode? Whatever was placed on the table for Ambode to eat which he refused to eat and which might be the cause of this crack in their relationship, one day it will also be placed for him to eat. |

Stope unnecessary generalisation. I am Ibo and I don't support Ambode based on facts and no achievements. Ambode is Nigeria's most incompetent governor. He shall fail. Amin HardMirror: It beats my imagination that the ibos have made it a duty to back ambode despite the fact that because of ambode, oba akinolu cursed and threatened them with the infamous 'Lagoon curse'.
Why is it ok that a man must have 8 years in office when the fact remains that he has done nothing special considering the amount of money lagos state has.
Is it now a problem for his popularity to be challenged by his party?
Please lets us be reasonable. Let the Apc do their primaries ambode or not, lagosians would decide when the general election comes |

Thanks for your response. The hospital in question told me 17500 dollars is the amount for the surgery just in case. Meanwhile, my siblings will also be supporting. Why I am here is to check if I have a compelling reason for visa. Thank you NothingDoMe: Pele. From what I checked online a hip surgery in the US is quite expensive. I saw $30k minus complications. Then there's Logistics and other expenses.
The procedure would will practically take all your listed funds and would leave you without sufficient motivation to return to Nigeria. You would then be tempted to use the good hip to jump the fence into Canada. Lol. Just wanted you to smile.
Consider alternatives. There are countries that rival the United states in the area of medical technology and are cheaper too. |

MY ANTECEDENTS AND WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN THIS TEAM I INTEND TO RAISE Hello guys. Greetings. I have diligently followed this trend from from beginning to this point. And I just want to thank the dude who opened it in the first place. Wanna appreciate the lady whose reply got this trend to this point. May God bless you both. I Google searched for a biz to do with a specific amount of money and was brought here. I am not entirely new to bringing things from the north. I once researched about onion biz but didn't start because I got involved in Crypto based blogging program - www.steemit.com/@eurogee - which has sustained me since July last year to this moment with visible achievements recorded within the interim. In as much as this info has elements of genuiness and worths trying; I will advice you to look before you leap. I know how difficult it is to raise capital in this country. Personally I cannot afford to lose money unjustifiably and I trust no one would either. I have the fund to go into this biz starting with two busses but I won't. And I don't advice you do that unless you have an insider who will take you by the hand and show you the way. No matter how intelligent you think you are; no matter how deep you have researched, don't ever think you have already known all the secret about this biz with brief info you had been given. Don't even expect much profits in your first experiment. Experience is the best teacher. As you gather experience, you will begin to see your profit in quantum. So what I am trying to say? The idea of the group thing is fine so that you share the risk as well as the profits. After like first, 2nd and 3rd trips, you can pull out from the group and go solo. This is what I intend to do. || The group thing also comes with issue of trust. Things may not always end up as sweet as it started. Last year before I joint steemit, while searching for a biz to do, I came across an onion biz based trend that was started by one brilliant lady. With her convincing sweet words, nairalanders invested enmasse. People made money of course but at last everything disappeared into thin air. Accusations and counter accusations. You can read the trend: https://www.nairaland.com/2153616/nairalander-tales-onions-business/24While I am not discouraging you from being part of any group to realize your onion biz dream, you must be very careful with who you do joint biz with so that you don't end up crying. Why you may choose to be part of my teamI am a leader in Steemit blogging program, which is currently my main source of income. But due to the current fall in the price of crypto assets, I decided to diversify. Hence, I am here. I am the creator of a steemit based whatsaap group called Euronation Steemians, and we are currently about 163 Steemians from different states and ethnic groups. About 95% of these guys i found them online and convinced them to be part of Steemit program. Despite our different backgrounds, we have had many financial dealings without any issues. And they can attest to my sincerity even before we met physically in several steemit related campaigns. Having discovered this opportunity, I know I am going to talk to them about it, and will refer them to this page to see things for themselves. I will be needing at least 10 persons or more for this pepper biz move. And it is possible I will raise this number from my group. But in case, I don't fail, you are free to join us. I have already created a whatsaap group for this. I will carry out a sort of webinar for my group on this. You may choose to be part of Euronation Steemians to witness the announcement. You can also choose to be part of my pepper biz whatsaap group. We will fix a meeting in Lagos to discuss how everything will go. Within next week, I will goto mile 12 and see things for myself. I don't advice people to expose their number online, you can send your number to me via email with heading "pepper biz" at eurogeexup@gmail.com. Thanks.

You got an eye. May God bless you. Ambode is a colossal failure. Very useless as a leader. I wonder what he's coming out to do in the second term. All hail Fashola, he remains the best governor Nigeria ever produced. Ambode is a shameless man for even thinking of vying for second term. As incompetent as Buhari. wristbangle: If Ambode's performance radiates so well in all sectors of the state, speaking of not endorsing him for the next gubernatorial election wouldn't be discussed.
The lightening almost struck for Fashola but his effort which was a step up from that of Tinubus' bailed him.
Though I frown at the "greedy god father" who wants all tax and levies to be remitted to his pocket but looking at the picture of Lagos now will make one almost shed tears. Apart from the filthy state ( piled refuse/sewage), road condition is deploring everyday, electricity supply is on relegation level, etc.
Even if the Light up, and bus terminus layby are quite good initiative, these doesn't have significant effect on the economic and infrastructural development in the state.
Maybe Jide Sanwo-olu would take up from where Fashola stopped. I'm tired of Ambode honestly. He failed and messed up the antecedents of Lagos growth.

Hello guys, actually love what you guys are doing here.
I have actually been following for sometime now. Please I need expert input in my situation before I make a move.
I was involved in an accident in 2009 which fractured my hip. 2010 I went to India and had hip replacement surgery. And I was told by Indian surgeons that the least life span of the hip is 20years at the end of which it has to be replaced with another hip. Currently I use a crutch to aid my mobility.
This is the 8th year. And I am already feeling some level of uncomfortable with the hip. And this is the reason I am yet to marry at 34yrs of age.
I don't wanna visit India again for the same case since it's not up to the guaranteed 20years and I am already considering a review. I contacted an American hospital who invited me for a review of the surgery.
Mum has arthritis that makes her walking difficult. I am last born. And my siblings are a married. This I told the American hospital and they pledge to arrange who would look after me should in case I end up undergoing another surgery (God forbid).
I work with a logistics company and earn 250,000 monthly with account balance of 8.6million.
Looking at my situation, what's your advice?
Please your opinions will be much appreciated. Thank you. |

Intelligent comment. I am an Ibo. I have been away from Lagos since 2012. Coming back to Lagos to meet the state in such a pitiable form is an eloquent testimony how incompetent Ambode is. Ambode is a failure incarnate. I don't support Tinubu but I support him on this. Ambode has succeeded in taking Lagos back by 20 years. So dirty, roads so bad. I wonder what the buffon is doing on that seat. People keep talking about the bridges he built! Whts Bridge without inner roads being motorable? Fashola remain the Nigeria's all time best Governor till date. I wonder if Ambode ply all these roads; as in how does he feel seeing the road and environment the way they look. That guy no get anything to offer! Ambode should be sacked! Bolustical: Seems Ambode's fate has been sealed.
There was no reason for the public to support him like they did to Fasola
The arbitrary increase of the Land Use Charge was a serious goofing plus the fact that Lagos has become dirty.
There are some attitudes you don't put up in your first term especially when you're interested in a second term.
Nevertheless, Ambode should test his popularity. |

Your summary is as useless as you. Nothing but trash! WritePal: Yes, Ambode decided to chart his own path and not be subjected to the whims and caprices of the so-called state leaders like Banire and Fashola. After all, he's an elected exec governor, not their boy, and deserves his own respect too.
Yes, Ambode is not perfect, but neutrals know he's sincere, broad-minded (can't really say so of Fashola) and focused on his own vision (not Banire's or Fashola's unsolicited blueprint).
But you know the real issues why all the sudden noise about Sanwo-Olu (a man from the 'system' according to Banire)? It's the PSP. operators. They are actually not private enterpreneurs. They are members of the Mandate Group Fashola compensated with a regular flow of massive income through the PSP-Lawma arrangement.
So when Ambode decided to modernize waste mgt as it's done in Western country (He didn't get it right initially, but would eventually after all the teething problems), they revolted. How can Ambode remove their source of monthly multi million income generation?
Forget all the yadayada about potholes, bridge and blah, blah. They are all smokescreen. The real issues are the PSP operators who are the APC delegate/foot soldiers and members of the Mandate Group (some of them are here on Nairaland. I suspect deomelo is one).
They've got assurance from Sanwo-Olu that he will restore back their honey pot and continue with Fashola's policies. And Tinubu doesn't want to go against them as they're his subjects he relies on to continue his political relevance in Lagos.
THIS IS THE SUMMARY. DON'T BE CARRIED AWAY BY SMOKE. |

WotzupNG: Former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, Bianca Ojukwu, yesterday formally declared her interest to contest for the Anambra South Senatorial seat.
The and widow of late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, made the declaration in Ekwulobia in Aguata council, during a meeting with the stakeholders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in the old Aguata zone.
At the gathering was former governor of Imo State and governorship aspirant, Chief Ikedi Ohakim and multimillionaire, Dr. Godwin Maduka.
Addressing the gathering, Bianca Ojukwu said she wants to go to the senate to accomplish the dream of Dim Ojukwu, to liberate the Igbo from hardship and bondage.
“I’ve come here, today, to reaffirm that I wish to represent our senatorial district at the red chamber. Why is it important? It is important because our people need to be represented appropriately.
“Igbo have suffered so much in this country, and have continued to suffer. Our leader, Dim, suffered so much for our people. Evil prevails when good people sit and do nothing; to seat down and be an armchair critic means you are at home with the evil, that is why I came out to make a difference. So, if you want the evil to stop, my people, send me, and I will get our dues. We must identify with APGA, I’ve laboured tirelessly for this party and I will continue to protect the ideals of the party,” she said.
Speaking, Ohakim appealed to others interested in the seat to see the need to step down for Ambassador Ojukwu, as a mark of respect to her late husband.
“Bianca Ojukwu has what is called double legacy and double identity,” noting that her father, late C.C. Onoh, single-handedly built a house for M.I. Okpara. Bianca is not an ordinary human being; she is a spirit and the identity of the Igbo man. Bianca has suffered for us, the Igbo, by sacrificing everything to be by our leader, Ojukwu, till death.
“I beg all others who want to be senators in this zone to please respect our late leader, Ojukwu and father Onoh, by stepping down for Bianca Ojukwu,” he said.
https://www.wotzup.ng/2018/08/bianca-ojukwu-anambra-senatorial-race/ Utter nonsense. Neither ojukwu nor bianca is a hero after leading thousands of ibos to death in a war he knew can never be won by his side. Selfish people. |

Ambode or whatever he calls himself should be ashamed of his performance so far. He's even ashamed of himself over how dirty Lagos of all people has been turned to under his regime. Lagos that Fashola made a reference point in all ramifications has been reduced to refuse poo.
Until Yorubas learn to stand against Tinubu's imposition and puppetry politics, Lagos will continue to remain a shitty city in the face gigantuan internally generated revenue.
Fashola refused to be controlled by Tinubu and that was why he succeeded. And that's the genesis of his problems with Tinubu.
Tinubu is a smart politician, of course. He studied it like a course and rarely commits political blunder. He knew people was with Fashola in 2011. If he had attempted to drop Fashola in 2011, he would have been reduced to nothing politically by now. He knew that if he had stood against Fashola, Fashola would have won the guber election irrespective of the party that fielded him. So he played along, even against his wishes, to continue to answer godfather.
Eastern political godfathers would have done otherwise, and be reduced to nothing. This was how Orji Uzor Kalu became irrelevant politically in Abia state.
Just visited Lagos after 6 years and can't believe what I am seeing...so dirty, all roads Fashola built so bad.

SalamRushdie: The fact that the best thing Buhari çan think of to do with 350 million dollars is to share it in a country lacking all sorts of social amenities shows how empty and bereft of ideas he is |

Saying you are a fool is understatement, you're a big fool as a matter of fact. So this is how you will rule this country if you are entrusted with leadership of this country? You just share everything abi. Perhaps even national BUDGET with the aim of getting appreciated by people? EWU! cool318: Sometimes, i wonder how people of your type get intoxicated in creating unnecessary awareness in form of comments. who told you i am confused. I don't really have your time There are families with over 10 as nuclear families in most parts of the country where this Abacha loot will be shared, are all of them not also regarded as the poorest of the poor??
There are also such nuclear families over 12 in Places down south south , in my own opinion, aggregating the money , could help the families out. Have you been to interior Akwa ibom, and the swampy shores of Bayelsa states before? I don't want to mention names, you will see what we call realtime poverty.
even if its #500 , thse people will appreciate you !!!!! |

Thanks so much for your response. I almost shed the plan of visiting the state! seyewest: And you believe this nonsense? U.S Embassy can cancel visa at anytime but won't do it without a good enough reason which means some people with U.S visa may have violated the terms of the visa or after doing further background check or whatever it maybe it's not because of what Pres. Buhari signs infact this has been going on for more than 3-4 yrs. |

Had read everything and didnt see such information. However, i appreciate your response. Gonna mail them right away! OmoBendel24: The solution you seek is somewhere on this thread, go through the thread, it will help. Will however just tell you (as a freebie to you for coming on this thread) in the midst of all these many stories of yours that you don't have much issue yet as long as you haven't attended any interview nor even scheduled any appointment. You also cannot create a new profile with your International Passport, it's waste of time.
Just call the embassy's customer care unit, tell them you can't login to your profile and request of them to change the email on your profile (to the one you know and have access to), start afresh from there and possess your possession. Lolz! Regards.... |

Appreciate those who have been of immense help to Nigerians via this trend.
Please, I need your advice my people. Sometimes in 2016, I was really in a haste to travel for a conference to be sponsored by the organization I worked with then. But along the line, I had issues with the management over some false accusations of corruption for which the intended trip was canceled. And within the interim, I created account on the embassy site but never booked appointment or attempted an interview.
Now, everything is settled and there is a conference that will take place in USA by November this year. I have interest to go for it but yet to inform the organization I work with.
The issue now is I could not remember the details with which I created account on the embassy website. I have tried to recover my profile info to no avail. I don't know if I should go ahead and create another account? What if I do that now and the information I provide doesn't match with my previous information? What will happen?
Please I need advice, my people.
Thanks |
