Nairaland GeneralRe: What Do You Think About Nairaland? by Eurphoria(f): 3:27am On Nov 20, 2006
the best forum out there by a mile. Many things piss me off about this place(i.e the debates on religion and many times the lack of respect for those of faith, that is my tolerance level out the window) but it is good to know there is a place where intelligent people can chat about many things, and it shows the best of Nigeria in my opinion. I never though i would say this but Seun you do a brilliant job, pls ease off the anti christian thing. Maning this place must be a huge task and so i will say well done in that respect.

Nairaland is the most orderly Nigerian site i have been on so far

It could have been worse so thank your stars he didnt abduct or harm you. People think just because its a Nigerian site they are safe, like someone said, there are still so many idiots in this world who will betray or harm you. So be thankful you are well.

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Hi Am Gabriel I Stay In Maryland & V.g.c by Eurphoria(f): 2:09am On Nov 20, 2006
lol this is funny. I still dont know what he hopes to gain from this post huh lol i like the way he says he lives in Maryland and V.G.C shocked wow! fantastic, what do you want now? a song and dance?
I think he is indirectly asking us to pray for him , so that he too can live in Maryland, vgc,etc and have all those phones, do we have a ''breakthrough pastor'' in the house?
RomanceRe: My Mother Doesn't Want Me To Date Ghanaian Guys! by Eurphoria(f): 2:02am On Nov 20, 2006
Oh thank you Desiree, thank you, that is so true. I never had problems with Ghanians till recently, i didnt know i was in some cocoon about the realtionship that exist btw Nigerians and Ghanians. I too used to think we were very close and like bros and sis, to my utter disblief recently. I met some Ghanaians that were so appalling in their attitude towards us it was shocking. My hairdresser too was telling me about her bf from Ghana and she had nothing pretty to say about him and his friends and family. Mycousin too went out with this guy from Ghana and she had a nasty experience with his family.

So yes there is tension btw us but i really dont know why huh
@Michelline i would say like everything dont jump in with both feet, check him out, not just becos of what mama says but just generally. Listen to your mum, she may say its because he is from Ghana, but there is a thing called maternal instincts and you should take it seriously.

RomanceRe: Guys Are We Romantic? by Eurphoria(f): 1:29am On Nov 20, 2006
many guys are romantic, if we women allow them to be. We have become too too independent and hard faced that when we see a good thing we either knock it out of them calling them wimps or boring, or we dont say thank you, instead moan and whinge. Its true because i have been like that and many of my girlfriends too, but i have changed things and allowed those little moment when a guy does those romatic things, in stead of forget and shout '' what have you done for me lately'', curtesy of Janet Jackson wink

But yeah some guys are unromantic too, lets hear thm and thier excuse tongue
HealthRe: Does Condom Protect You From AIDS? by Eurphoria(f): 1:18am On Nov 20, 2006
saintsam:
to me condom is 0%.abstinence 100%.eurphoria,what are u sayin? plzzz wake up to the reality of aids.
this is part of the reason many are dropping from aids in Africa. By the way i know the reality of aids, why dont you go on a campaign in Lagos to show the millions this reality you are talking about? Maybe ppl like you will help the situation.

Condom helps alot, and ppl who can not abstain needto know how to use condom safely and also need to know the right ones to use,.Atleast it goes a long way in curbing the spread than you recommended ABSTAINACE (rolls eye) like evryone is that strong willed, so everyone should go without sex huh now who is being unrealistic?
RomanceRe: Would You Marry a Single Parent? by Eurphoria(f): 1:11am On Nov 20, 2006
no i just couldn't, for me dealing with the ex and all is just too much of a hassle, i'd rather marry someone without that much history and connection to another woman.

PoliticsRe: We Need A European Leader To Fix Nigeria? by Eurphoria(f): 3:26am On Nov 12, 2006
thank u who needs eurpeans, like the mess they cause across africa is not enough, you see the madness and slave mentality? ask yourselves one of the reasons , i say one, many african countries cannot trade on an equal playing field with those bloodsuckers is becos they dont give a shit. I can seen them now reading the moronic posts and laughing at the stupidity. I won't even contemplate such an idea ,talk less ask the people here if this is wat we need. Those answering and writing essays as if its a thesis appear very stupid. What do they say no common sense.

Many soldiers are there hiden away, many gems are yet undiscovered or quashed for greed , like everything these bad leaders will die and go rot in hell and hopefully the hiden gems will emerge to do right by their father land.

You think europeans are good ppl? smarter? lai lai. u think they know their ass from thier elbow? pls their countries may run better but be under no illusions they have many sinister and repulsive systems in their so called democracies.

An european to fix us? TUFIAPKA, I VOMIT . gO AND ASK UR BROS AND SIS IN SA, ZIMBABWE, NAMIBIA ETC AND THEY WILL NOT ONLY CURSE YOU FOR ASKING BUT CURSE those who bore u.

you no like wetin i talk ? GKAWA!!!!
Christianity EtcRe: Do White People Take Christianity As Seriously As We Do? by Eurphoria(f): 8:09am On Nov 11, 2006
who cares whether whites blue pink green take christianity seriously or not, i don't. All i care about is i take it serious and if the next man don't, well its up to them, i don't see why i need to make anyone see or accept my belief. Those who don't ,good for you, those who do same to you. WHO CARES WHO CARES  every person for himself at the end of the day. Too much talk, too much story too much explaining, back forth back forth never ending arguements, you will never see it my way and i will never see it your way. If it is point scoring you want, fine you win , you win , it takes nothing from me, nothing from my life. It will never sway me, no one will ever sway you. YOu win , but i still remain with my belief period.

we can nitpick at every turn, pick a point in every arguement, but the bottom line is your response will always reflect your core belief and so would mine, so what do we acheive?

ps
drusilla how are u darlin missed you

TravelRe: Nigerian Passport: Married Women Need Husband's Permission! by Eurphoria(f): 9:16pm On Nov 10, 2006
babyosisi:
people, do not be suprised, that is all part of the sharia agenda which they hope to envelope the whole nation in.
Muslim women in Sharia countries need consent from men to do everything (but breathe in air).
This is only the beginning.

So true Mrmayor, any idiot can sign the consent, even the woman can do it herself but the mere fact that that clause is there should worry every Nigerian woman in this day and age.
100 percent in agreement here. This is a slow but sure process of religion creeping into politics in Nigeria and there will be blood in the future.
CultureRe: Y Most African Doesn't Like It When People Say They Look Like African! by Eurphoria(f): 9:02pm On Nov 09, 2006
nah, i don't think most people are not happy to look african. some not most. Me i am very very proud to be african. The reason i think some don't is insecurities, complexes etc down to either the modern day acceptable meaning of beauty and because some people come from families where they have deep rooted issues with their colour down to colonisation etc.

see perfect example here now. No offense to Jamaicans but i wont jump for joy to be mistake for one, at the end of the day, if its a blk jamaican, ofcourse an african will share similarities in look, many black ppl do regardless of where there are born. I hear ppl say ''oh i am mistaken for jamaican'' or they say ''ppl say i look mixed''. errm i wonder to myself so wat? i think ppl who thrive on such remarks have issues with thier skin too.
