Ok so i was quite busy and was unable to take care of my boy drake for sometym so i took him to my sisters place, i was always calling and asking how my boy was? is he a gud barker? cos he barked allot while he was with me. Is he growing? are is ears standing? (cos last tym i saw him, dey were floppy) so i finally went to see him, so many thoughts were in ma mind, will he bark at me? will he still remember me? cos d last tym i was with him, he was quite on d smaller side and i didnt spoil him as much as my sis did with different kinda food, only dat he got to sleep in my room while with me. so i arrived my sister place in d evening, it was already dark, as i approached d gate (i neva touch or knock am ooo) i heard a deep dog voice barking from insyd and so i wondered, did my sis get a new dog? bt den i said, its not posible, if she did, she would get thru me or i would know. den i knocked at d gate instead of making a call for someone to come open d gate, cos i just wanted to know how d dog would react, and den d barking increased, in ma mind i was like, "OMG my boy doesnt know me again, as d gate was opened for me, he was chained, he kept on barking, and i was like see dis boy oooo, den i called him and said "DRAKE!!!!, its me ur boss, cmon boy, dnt tell me u have forgoten me" and d nxt tin dt happened was dt Drake stopped barking, and from a distance (cos i tried to stand a distance), he sniffed my scent and all of a sudden, my boy started jumping and screaming, he wanted to come to me dt instance, he screamed and screamed and as i went close to him to release him, he jumped on me and licked all over my body, he wasnt looking well groomed but he was so fat and heavy, and i was like Cheesus, naso u dey chop reach? I told him to sit but he didnt, i had trained him to sit and shake b4 i dropped him but my sis didnt bother continuing, so i could say we were back to square one, he had no basic training. this morning, i bathed him and tried grooming his hair, there wasnt a brush good enough for his hair d grooming wasnt perfect as he is a longhaired gsd. i tried training him to sit, i made use of treats, he was responding initially and den he got distracted. I was so fraustrated so i decided to stop because i didnt want him to sense fraustration in me, hez energy level is off d chart, damn!!!!! i tire, i also skipped his early morning meal till after d training, which i also reduced cos i want him to reduce his weight as he is currentlly very fat, runs like say him dey use all him energy dey waka, also took him for walk and wen we came back, he was just panting anyhw

really? and u do? could u enlighten me? i thought that here in 9ja, a Gsd dt is not a slant bk is not pure, only d slant backs are pure, but this is a slantback, shouldnt it be pure? even dis so called term given to a standard gsd in Nigeria as Gsd "9ja shepherds, 9ja german shepherds" these dogs are actually same with d straight back abroad, so y d term given to them here? or is it d coat? is it because dey are not as hairy? I hope u know that d Gsd has two type of coat,(the stock coat and plush coat) these coats are subdivided into three, the short coat, normal coat(not so sure of d name) and d long haired Gsd. most of d gsd in 9ja falls under d normal coat and few short coat, d few long coat are considered pure here in Nigeria, weda slantback or not. I hope u also know d two classes of Gsd called d working line and showline, both classes are of two types, the american and german. the american is divided into american workingline and american showline. the american gsd are usually much streamlined dan d german gsd in d sense that dey look like they are smaller, (this line is common in Nigeria) the american showline is actually the one with d term, slantback, as dey more steep slope dan d germanline. the germanline appear to be much bigger dan d american line because of thier stock coat, they have more features of d old purpose of creating d gsd, d german show line has a roach back in d sense that towards the end of thier back, dey have something like an hunch back which from there, they slope downwards. in each line of gsd, there are both the long haired and short haired. This is few of what i Know of GSDS, i tried sumarizing both still bulky. If u have any more knowledge or contradictory knowledge plzz share because i dont know why diz dogs should be classified as nigeria shepherd. all i see is a slant bk with a shorter coat, probably an american line because of its size, i havent seen d slope well, so thats my judgement. They are pure slantbacks

wat else do i have to say to show am following d thread, i have given my comments twice in dis section, d first one saying i dont wanna take sides in dis accusation and i have said my mind about him and wat i think caused all diz fuzz, my second comments was d conclusion

there is one blairsingal dat got a dog called shadow from bobbysaxy, so partially d issue of him not delivering dogs u paid for is out of it, Bobby is not a scammer from my observations, i av never dealt in any transaction with him same way i avent with so many oda nairalanders here which i could vouch for like prodegee knyte, arcbay and some odaz but if anyone says dey are involved in scam, i would just laugh. I have been in dis section for years now and so have bobby i believe cos i think i can remember his first post, i probably wasnt a registerd member den but i saw it. i didnt see him to be a scam and i once recomended him to someone who wanted to get a dog, but as time passed, there were several allegations against him which started to shaken my trust for d guy (me and am never talk b4 oooo) na just observe i dey observe him, i i observed he was always having dogs for sale which seemed strange. when d first allegation came, i assumed its just bad belle and den d oda, and there was one dat bobby nw reacted by caling d person a scammer too, Haba Who does dat? it showed high level of imaturity(sorry to say but its d truth) since he made such allegations, u should have only defended yourself and provide evidence, but instead u just start showing characteristics of an imatured person, blabbing dis and dat, it became a contest btw u and d person like d person wen talk bt each oda scam pass, na him win. after dat incident d trust shakened. i know how hurtfull it is being accused of doing wat u didnt do, u will try to explain but no one would listen cos Nigerians are quick to judge, but how u go about it matters allot. if bobby had a good customer relationship, nobody would come up here to say he is a scam instead, people will defend him, so far, only blairsin gal has done dat. In this life, there is nothing like being straight forward, i dont want to be biased in dis argument dt sprung out, neither do i want to be one sided. i dont know much about younglawya, but bobbysaxxy has been here for a while, on several occasions, several allegations has been made against him, his method of tackling his allegations, to me, i consider very imature, someone with a clean hand wont react in such a way. In business, there is wat dey call goodwill, it cannot be bought, it is earned. If somebody comes out and says prodeegee is a scam tomorow, prodegee wouldnt even need to say a word, different people will spring out like antivirus and defend him, he has created goodwill for himself and good relationship with his customers, bobby at d oda hand, wen posting a sales thread, he does it aggresivelly like "GIANT CAUCASIANS FOR SALE, EXTREME QUALITY, dey are not cheap, it is not for average nigerians, i dont sell those your local breeds" of wat use is dat, how about just advertising and if someone makes an offer u dnt like, just explain why. Also this is not d first tym, dere is an allegation against u, so wat do u want us here to believe, dis one bobby is saying about younglawya is new but urs isnt. am not saying u dont have dogs or dont have good dogs, but there is a great posibility dat u engage in certain fraudulent act from time to time or probably its just ur customer relation

sorry about your loss bro, it aint easy loosing a dog, worse part is watching d dog go tru pains and eventually dies despite all your efforts to save the puppy, u even lucky d pup had not grown too far if not d pain would have been more, i lost two adult dogs in less that 6 months, and am still not over them but i compensated my self by getting another and ensuring that certain mistakes i made in d past, i dont do again, so bro take heart, u could check kuzee thread of snap and upload your dogs for a pic of my new pup. Am gonna repeat, getting another would help in situations wen u are usd to d dog being around and ensuring that u dont make same mistakes

2 weeks later at 12 wks old, btw he is fed on diamond puppy food and pedigree canned food, he has been spoilt and wont eat any other kind of food, he is much larger now tho

castration of dogs have allot of health benefits, there are myths that wen u castrate a dog, it would grow faster and bigger, but in reality, most castrated male dogs dont produce hormones that enables them mature like d intact ones and therefore will grow fatter with lesser muscles therfore making dem seem bigger as a result of accumulated fat, as for securitywise, they wouldnt be distracted and may make better security dogs, but castrating a dog wont stop it from going out, u have to train it to be used to your environment, only dat castration reduces the tendency of the male going out since he wont be much interested in mating. But am quite sure that u are planning on getting a local dog, nobody would get a foreign dog in Nigeria setting and then let it roam freely in a compound that is not fenced. if its a foreign dog u wanna buy, plzz change your mind, local dogs can do as much security a foreign dog can do, it is for both your safety and that of the dogs

d dog is still observing d environment, dogs don't usually bark wen dey are introduced to a new environment except if crying wen u restrict their movement

gsds have several colours, even tricoloured Gsd popularly called panda shepherd, d solid black gsd, sable Gsd which comprises of any of d common Gsd colours, be it liver, blue, black, tan combined together underlining against each other to d extent one doesn't know its particular colour and has to call it sable, I have a solid black male gsd
