how? or is this for those that already have AD?

If you already have an appointment date then I don't think this would apply to you.

Bros, you cannot book twice if your passport details is still in their system. Except you book on another CAT, but if it is same CAT you can't book twice. Observation is key here.

regards,

Thanks for clearing that up, lets hope you are correct.

I dont think anyone will get appointment cancellation. You will just notice that you can rebook even without cancelling your previous booking.

Cheers!

What if the embassy doesn't go ahead with the purge? we could end up booking twice? that's my worry.

In regards to the purge that's supposed to take place today, Has anyone gotten a notice of appointment cancellation from the embassy?

I don't think so. VOs don't even have powers to reject.

If you are honest and can prove beyond reasonable doubt that you deserve visum I think we'll get them.

Stop all this negative ominous cloak and dagger stuff. Hundreds upon hundreds of Indians gain visum to study in same country. Is it because german VOs in the south east asia like indians?

Not true.

We need to adopt honesty. I believe it's far easier than we are anticipating. Another thing I've noticed and I'm disgusted about is ppl are deliberately keeping or hoarding valuable information particularly useful visum transcripts that can revolutionize this waka.

It will be well.

Abeg who get link to heybaby12 transcript?

I hope this isn't the case! guys abeg make we all help one another oh! we are all on the same journey, its not a competition, the final decision rests in the hands of the German embassy and not fellow Nigerians, this no be big brother.

Boss, me confused? Wow. Well, since you are still insisting on "I need short term residence permit" and not willing to really get the assistance you seek, all I can say is "I wish you all the best boss"

I would very much appreciate any advice you can help me with.

So its safe to say registrations would begin from the 1st of October and not from the second week of October like the user doppleganger here suggested.

I am not insisting on anything bro, was only telling you why I made mention of short term residence permit. I am open to receiving your advise! Like I said in my previous post, I am not schooling you, how could I possibly school you on an issue that I no nothing about! Thats why I am here asking for advise!

My 5Naira advice, if you would want to book in October as stated on their website please book maybe 2nd week or even 3rd week in October. The purging is supposed to take place according to them early October, no specific date was stated. Don't reapply very early in October, please act and stay safe, hence you might be caught up again in the "purging pool" again!
Just saying o

Do you have the link where it states that the purging would take place in early October.

Why did you keep asking this question! It is stated on the embassy website that their system will be purge at the end of September. Afterwards, the portal will be reopen from 1st of October for summer booking. No one can categorically tell you what is normal about AD right now. You can only be hopeful.

Regards,

Thanks mate! We can only hope.

Boss, I am so sorry for my previous post. I thought I could help since you asked for how to obtain a RP in Benin Republic as a citizen of a member of the ECOWAS.
You schooling me about RP means you already know what you want. All the best boss

No need to apologize. Btw I wasnt schooling you, I thought you were confused as to why I needed a residence permit for a short stay, So I wanted to let you know that what I actually needed was a short term residence permit.

Why are you interested in knowing How to obtain resident permit when you stated clearly that you just want to VISIT for SHORT HOLIDAY?

There are different types of resident permit bro, there's the one for short stay (temporary resident permit) and then there's the one for long term stay.

Hey guys, I am interested in visiting Benin republic, Cotonou precisely for a short holiday, are there fellow Nigerians here who are currently in Benin republic or who have been before? I would like to know what the experience was like.

I would like to visit Ghana, Senegal and Gambia but I would rather start with the closest nation which is Benin republic. I would like to know about the process of visiting and also what it cost to get a resident permit.

28th of August. I was bounced back from Abuja embassy by a Nigerian VO on the 22nd of august that my interview was to be held at the lagos consulate due to the fact that my admission address is calabar and lived there. I had no option to wait for new AD.Though I'm through with my enrolment.

You just booked then! I booked more than a month ago and I am yet to hear from the embassy. hmmnn
