I hear the embassy wants to refresh the list of those awaiting interview dates and then we would have to book again. Is there any truth to this? |

Tommynaku: AM is Approval Mail. The mail is sent to you when your visa application had been approved. The mail normally require you to send your passport, travel health insurance, confirmation for your means of sustenance if you've not sent BA or SL OR Scholarship. After sending these, the Visum/Visa will be stamped on your passport and all you documents sent to you Thanks for the response, straight to the point! |

profblinks: Are there German universities that don't require hard copies of documents and one can apply freely? Look for a German university on daad.de or use google offering the course you are interested in, send an enquiry email to them regarding their requirements, educational qualification/certification, there are some German uni's that have mandatory tuition fees like every other uni and then there are some that are free. |

mightyokwy: Bro i am encountering one now. I registered with mawista for my health insurance coverage. My school enrollment is online, so i uploaded all the required document, yesterday i got an email from them that my health insurance is rejected. That mawista is private insurance and i must provide an exemption certificate that exempt me from public insurance. So i am working on it now. Hope you find a solution to this situation, please keep me informed on the steps required to get a health insurance. |

mightyokwy: Some school that do enrollment online usually issue the students certificate that show that they are students of the school. I am 31 just like you, are there any challenges in regards to getting a health insurance for someone who is over 30? |

mightyokwy: Please gurus in the house. I registered for health insurance with Mawusta. I am 31 years old. After uploading the document from Mawista to the school portal for my online enrollment, i got a rejection feedback. They are suggesting i must book appointment with the German public health insurance office for check or exemption certificate from the public health insurance. Please i will like to know if is possible to register with another health insurance company since the mawista policy is rejected. Also is possible to obtain the exemption certificate from Nigeria. I need urgent reply as my enrollment deadline is fast approaching. Also my AD is in november which means i need the enrollment certificate for my interview at the embassy. What's enrollment certificate again? Havent heard this before. |

Obinnafrancis: U mustn't go to Turkish airlines office before u book. U can contact them via email (Lagossales@thy.com) or phone (01-2772230-31-32). They will request for your AL, Visa page and Passport data page. That's how I did mine after which my ticket was sent to me via email. Vital info here. Thumbs up! |

gmode: AL: 6th May (deferred admission letter changed to new one) AD: 17th May AM: 8th August Visum: 23rd August A lot of stories but it ended in praise having struggled since 2017. 1 visa rejection, three weeks sleepless night to get AD and a long waiting of 12 weeks to get AM. I wish to acknowledge every single effort & selfless dedication any member of this noble group have rendered towards my success stories. Ich liebe sie alle. I will still encourage us not to hesitate to lift others knowing that it is by lifting that we will be lifted. AXA Marsurd is good for traveling insurance and it is cheaper. I used 92 days for three months @ #14,307.03. For booking of flight, download either sky scanner or studentuniverse from your app store. Use them to check your suitable date of departure. (use one-way) to economise your money and book at your convenience. I pray God to bless everyone else who is expecting AL,AD,BA,AM and Visa. Amen Great information here |

Boss733: Rejection reasons was; You have no legal reason to enter Germany because your admission letter is not valid and your subsistence in Germany is not ensured.
My admission was a defer admission so my school gave me the defer admission last year but during my interview at the embassy they said they can't be in 2019 and be working with an AL with last year date, I swindle them with much talks and they accepted and also I did not fund yet.
So when I had the call from DHL and all my documents sent back to me, I thought my hope is gone till I go into research and wrote a strong appeal letter known as Remonstration letter with a nice format that is acceptable at the embassy and I also added my supporting documents like my blocking confirmation because I quickly funded and also a new admission letter because I quickly write to my school and they sent to me.
I sent my Remonstration and supporting documents through email to the embassy, got no reply, bros I quickly run to DHL also sent as post because I was frustrated, yet no reply, so I wrote to the alien office at Munich and at first they told me they are hoping to receive my documents from the embassy, after a week I wrote to them again and they reply Bros abeg we don finish our work here for Munich, try contact your country embassy make dem give you that thing na, na there my mind rest ooo, no need to contact our embassy na since dem nor dey reply so I chill, after 2 days gbam gbam gbam Almighty AM land like Emirate airline. Glory to God. Happy for u bro! U followed up properly |
