FreshGreen:This was beautifully written and very true. There is such a poweful, encouraging and motivational influence for other brethren when a testimony is shared. Even if just thanking the Lord for seeing yet another morning is all one can testify about, that is still worthy of sharing with the congregation. Well written |
Well written and my hope is that Christians truly understand that their hope is rooted in Christ alone...regardles of what may be occurring around them no matter where they live. |
NobleRace:You made a mistake though at the above bolded red: It's "ma'am".....not "sir". I am very much a female born of a female. Some people on N.L. desperately wish I was a male, but I am incapable of making that wish come true....nor do I want to..with all due respect. You are welcome. May you continue to rightly divide the word of God....which is truth. |
Noblerace, Don't know you from Adam, however you are undoubtedly a student of the Word....and clearly from what I've read here in the last few replies to the other poster (because I haven't read through the entire thread or all of your comments on it) are also a teacher. You have explained this very well. That's all I would like to say. |
xproducer:I definitely agree with you and the other poster about using wisdom first Very powerful scriptures and the heart that sincere Christians must have in these endtimes. I just thought that since this was a new convert who may not be at the level you described above, that baby steps would come first....the emphasis on praying to the Lord God. Those above scriptures are definitely the level of the heart that the new convert will possess and reach by God's grace soon enough. Well said. |
Dangerousboy:You are welcome. Let me say this: I enjoy encouraging...or giving people sincere appreciation when it is truly due. Sometimes I just can't help myself....and people miscontrue my excitement. I don't know you at all; However, the Holy Spirit has blessed me through several of your threads (which I also "like"sometimes, but don't want you to miscontrue my intentions). I don't ever want to be an obsessive "like-er" of comments on this site. You, as well as a small number of other regular Christian devotional contributors--both male & female-- on this section, (some of whom I have told the same thing I am telling you) have blessed me tremendously daily. Reading this thread this morning was the indicator that it was now time (after reading a lot of your devotionals) to finally encourage you the writer...and know that God is working through you to bless others. Remember to remain humble and give the glory to the Lord. Although your moniker confused me a little, and I don't know what your calling is, I do believe that you know Jesus, my brother in Christ. Be encouraged |
Beautifully written....solemnly true. |
Propheticdavid:I take this thread very seriously and will be praying for you, the person in question and anyone else who may be in the same predicament yet is terribly fearful. Sincere prayer first is the key to employing wisdom in practical and spiritual matters...especially spiritual. God will answer undoubtedly...and everything will work out for good. Blessings |
I really like this question. It seems as if, however, this may be a complicated situation and would need divine wisdom. You know the awesome thing about prayer to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel is that anyone can do it.....anywhere and anytime. It can be done silently where only the person and God Himself know what is being uttered. What is so awesome about the Lord is that HE knows exactly what we are feeling, need and want. He will also provide the way.....He will instruct thee and teach theein the way which thou shalt go (Psalm 32:8 All the person has to do is PRAY SINCERELY AND EXPECTANTLY IN FAITH AND HUMILITY TO THE LORD GOD....daily and watch how God will answer, direct and guide. If there are possible dangers of praying openly or acknowledging Him openly, then God knows and understands. He will lead the sincere heart in the right way at the right time. Here are some scriptures. “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly..... For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him....(Matthew 6:6,8 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God …” (Philippians 4:6) “Praise is awaiting You, O God, in Zion; and to You the vow shall be performed. O You who hear prayer, to You all flesh will come.” (Psalm 65:1-2) “… Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:23-24) “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14) So many more scriptures, but these are but a few. I hope that helps some. Be blessed |

Happy Birthday and be blessed. |
BassReeves:Oh, I may need to clarify "spirit". I was meaning "spirit" in terms of angels/angelic forces (both holy and fallen)...that animals & babies can see at times. I wasn't meaning dead people coming back as spirits. |
Animals and babies/toddlers (the creatures in question--not human beings who are capable of communicable language) speak in non-verbal or incommunicable ways as far as "human language" and yet still communicate to humans. Perhaps if they could, many of us wouldn't believe them...myself probably included. That's what makes it all the more interesting...perhaps the Lord allows them to see practically what we can only see spiritually...who knows? For example, a dog may be barking continuously and is trying to let the owner know that something is occurring or may be wrong....of course the owner has to then troubleshoot through whatever the problem may be. Perhaps the owner figures it out OR perhape he/she does not. Same goes for a baby... It can be crying profusely....(for whatever reason), however it is communicating in the way it knows best. Watching their (animals' and babies') actions and how they behave/react to things gives us a little insight into what they may be trying to communicate. Nothing has been proven scientifically-wise that animals and babies see spirits as I said earlier. I'm not trying to go the "E.T." route either....so folks don't get confused. However, science cannot completely explain God the Creator either....yet He, by faith, is very real. Anyhow, according to the subject of this thread, I think it's definitely plausible and interesting....based on an experience or two. |
That is the age-old question. Don't know if the thread is meant to be a humorous joke or not, however I've wondered that too. Perhaps certain animals do.... Also, it's been said that babies and toddlers see spirits. Interestingly enough, neither (animals nor babies) is capable of communicating in a language that humans can understand...which, to me, ironically, gives some credibility. While drawing the line BETWEEN a very real spiritual world/dimension that by faith Christians know exist (because of the Word of God) and being too superstitious (attaching a spiritual meaning to everything that occurs in the physical--and I apologize if I have offended any peope here), I actually do believe that it's very possible that they can see spiritual beings. I've repeatedly (throughout my years), witnessed some very unusual events (both by dogs and babies specifically) that have made me believe that that it's quite plausible. If you are serious, I wouldn't mind hearing about your story. |
Myzzyfrazzy:God bless you too sir. Whether you know it or not, this was a very timely thread....and was needed for some person(s) to read. |
I believe (and the OP can correct me if I'm wrong), he is saying that there's much more to being a Christian than just doing "good works". One must answer to the claims of Christ, surrender, be converted and allow Him to be Lord of His life. It is not about the person...but rather Christ. "Good deeds"-- giving to the poor, donations, enriching folks' lives financially, education-wise etc., should be the result of an expressed gratitude of what Christ did on the Cross and through our converted or regenerated lives...and should be done with pure motives. It's not always a good thing or God thing to publicize our "good works".... The genuine fruit of the Spirit is the evidence of a changed life in Christ. Just as important are keeping the Lord's "10" commandments...honoring Him first then one's fellow man. For example, I respect my fellow man so I won't covet his/her spouse. I won't steal from them, slander, beat them, use profane language, or abuse them in any form etc., MOTIVES---which only the Lord can discern-- are what determines the reason behind Matthew 7:22-23 as I stated before. We are solemnly warned in the above scripture verses that many will be condemned eternally who "lived a life of good deeds". It is extremely easy for people to believe one thing based on limited perception. Even our own hearts we do not fully know...mercy. However, the Word of God outlines how a sincere follower of Christ is to live.... When we do things or live contrary to the Word, our lives (no matter what position we may hold in Christianity) become questionable for some, not for another group and indifferent to more. However, in God's eyes, living contrary to His Word is total disobedience...which God will not honor...regardless if people do. Not everyone is a disciple of Christ just because he/she "said" or"says" so. Doing "good deeds" also does NOT automatically qualify one for the Kingdom. Christ examines motives....however a humble, surrendered and obedient heart is mandatory for being His disciple. Even if mistakes are made, the Lord knows the true intentions. If a person continually, deliberately or in ignorance engages in "bad deeds" (anything opposite of God's character), then it's clear that he/she has not been converted by the power of Christ....and needs to be introduced to Him and changed. |
Very well written... If I may also add, I think we, Christians, tend to forget that good deeds WITHOUT an obedient and submissive heart to Christ mean absolutely "0" to Christ. We have to remember that Christ is our mirror...and that we are to seek His approval. The world may say we are perfect, but in God's eyes we are not. Anyhow, it's sobering to think that "good works ONLY" are not the final criterion for entering eternity. It is extremely easy for a person to do good works yet have an evil, corrupt, disobedient (and with unpure motives) heart. I am reminded of Matthew 7:22-23 (KJV). 22 "Many will say to me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?" 23"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." We, oftentimes, are deceived by the true nature of our hearts and think we're okay when we really are not. We are to DO "good works" because we ARE SAVED....not to "BE SAVED." Anyone can do "good works" and still be foul in God's eyes. However, Christ came to set us captives FREE from the clutches of sin. He then works in us His spirit (the fruits)/character and equips us through prayer and the study of His Word to spread the good news to others who are dying in the despair of sin. Good piece.... |
Part 2 Again, Satan sees the Lord's servants burdened because of the spiritual darkness that enshrouds the people. He hears their earnest prayers for divine grace and power to break the spell of indifference, carelessness, and indolence. Then with renewed zeal he plies his arts. He tempts men to the indulgence of appetite or to some other form of self-gratification, and thus benumbs their sensibilities so that they fail to hear the very things which they most need to learn. Satan well knows that all whom he can lead to neglect prayer and the searching of the Scriptures, will be overcome by his attacks. Therefore he invents every possible device to engross the mind. There has ever been a class professing godliness, who, instead of following on to know the truth, make it their religion to seek some fault of character or error of faith in those with whom they do not agree. Such are Satan's right-hand helpers. Accusers of the brethren are not few, and they are always active when God is at work and His servants are rendering Him true homage. They will put a false coloring upon the words and acts of those who love and obey the truth. They will represent the most earnest, zealous, self-denying servants of Christ as deceived or deceivers. It is their work to misrepresent the motives of every true and noble deed, to circulate insinuations, and arouse suspicion in the minds of the inexperienced. In every conceivable manner they will seek to cause that which is pure and righteous to be regarded as foul and deceptive But none need be deceived concerning them. It may be readily seen whose children they are, whose example they follow, and whose work they do. "Ye shall know them by [520] their fruits." Matthew 7:16. Their course resembles that of Satan, the envenomed slanderer, "the accuser of our brethren." Revelation 12:10.
The Great Controversy Chapter 32 "Snares of Satan" Ellen G. White |
raphretle:May God bless you.... I also meant to add that it actually is a solemn thing for a wicked person to not only die physically, but be permanently separated from a Savior who demonstrated the ultimate act of dying (which only HE could do--yet didn't have to do) so that we, sinners, could be reconciled to Him. That actually is cause for sadness rather than rejoicing. |
Lovelytony22:Just stumbled upon this thread and it is beautifully written. Very nice list of scriptural verses. My choice would, undoubtedly, be #10....one of my forever favorites. It's a friendly yet affirmative command from the Lord that is so powerfully encouraging to me and puts me in a calm & trusting space knowing He's with me. |
Good morning and Happy Sabbath to all, I felt led by God to let someone on this site know that your prayers (for me) have been felt....they really have. God bless you... I, also, do not know exactly who you are and may never know until eternity (by God's grace)...but I have felt it recently. I had to be rebuked by the Lord that He still has 7,000 sincere and faithful warriors that have not bowed to baal. What is so awesome & praise-worthy about our Savior (through the Holy Spirit) is that He knows how to comfort, strengthen and encourage at just the right time! God bless you again.... |
Part 11 Conclusion When the testing time shall come, those who have made God's word their rule of life will be revealed. In summer there is no noticeable difference between evergreens and other trees; but when the blasts of winter come, the evergreens remain unchanged, while other trees are stripped of their foliage. So the falsehearted professor may not now be distinguished from the real Christian, but the time is just upon us when the difference will be apparent. Let opposition arise, let bigotry and intolerance again bear sway, let persecution be kindled, and the halfhearted and hypocritical will waver and yield the faith; but the true Christian will stand firm as a rock, his faith stronger, his hope brighter, than in days of prosperity. Says the psalmist: "Thy testimonies are my meditation." "Through Thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way." Psalm 119:99, 104. "Happy is the man that findeth wisdom." "He shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit." Proverbs 3:13; Jeremiah 17:8. Chapter 37 "The Scriptures A SafeGuard" The Great Controversy E.G. White
|
The Great Controversy Chapter 37 The Scriptures A Safeguard Ellen G. White
Part 5 God has given us His word that we may become acquainted with its teachings and know for ourselves what He requires of us. When the lawyer came to Jesus with the inquiry, "What shall I do to inherit eternal life?" the Saviour referred him to the Scriptures, saying: "What is written in the law? how readest thou?" Ignorance will not excuse young or old, nor release them from the punishment due for the transgression of God's law; because there is in their hands a faithful presentation of that law and of its principles and claims. It is not enough to have good intentions; it is not enough to do what a man thinks is right or what the minister tells him is right. His soul's salvation is at stake, and he should search the Scriptures for himself. However strong may be his convictions, however confident he may be that the minister knows what is truth, this is not his foundation. He has a chart pointing out every waymark on the heavenward journey, and he ought not to guess at anything. It is the first and highest duty of every rational being to learn from the Scriptures what is truth, and then to walk in the light and encourage others to follow his example. We should day by day study the Bible diligently, weighing every thought and comparing scripture with scripture. With divine help we are to form our opinions for ourselves as we are to answer for ourselves before God. The truths most plainly revealed in the Bible have been involved in doubt and darkness by learned men, who, with a pretense of great wisdom, teach that the Scriptures have a mystical, a secret, spiritual meaning not apparent in the language employed. These men are false teachers. It was to [599] such a class that Jesus declared: "Ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of God." Mark 12:24. The language of the Bible should be explained according to its obvious meaning, unless a symbol or figure is employed. Christ has given the promise: "If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine." John 7:17. If men would but take the Bible as it reads, if there were no false teachers to mislead and confuse their minds, a work would be accomplished that would make angels glad and that would bring into the fold of Christ thousands upon thousands who are now wandering in error.
|
It is normal for the fleshly part of a human being to want to see vengeance on his/her enemies....death being probably the highest punishment. If one looks from a pure fleshly viewpoint, it probably would bring satisfaction. Especially, if the person has been proven to be a wicked person by words and actions. HOWEVER, those of us who proclaim Christ are told in His Word that IF we rejoice in a wicked peson's calamity (be it any form) then God will not know you...and will He release His anger on the wicked (Proverbs 24:17 (KJV). He will not claim you as His own. There are many more scriptures as well. I tell you, it is tough sometimes. This is why it is so imperative to be in a prayerful mind-set practically all of the time. The spirit of Christ has to dwell in His children. There is no other way that it can be done. It is against our fleshly nature to look at a wicked person receiving a "just consequence" as a saddening thing. Most people, including Christians, would rejoice. But Christ has told us the way as His followers...which is opposite the world...very narrow. |
There are times when an answer to a prayer takes time. There are other times when God has answered but we fail to accept it. This morning confirmed something for me. I had good intentions when I originally started this thread. It was in response to a person throwing out false accusations, threatening to "expose" my denomination and other things. I have never been afraid to speak about Jesus....either publicly, privately or online. The overwhelmingly majority of my combine thousands of comments over a 4 and 1/2 year stay on this site under my several monikers, has been IN the religion section....to 99 percent Christians not of my denomination. I have written more scripture quotes than "book" references and while I have publicly stood alone this entire time, those who have interacted with me know that to be the truth. My church was practically never mentioned. I want to say so much more, however BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD.... BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD.... The only thing that I will say is if you are searching for truth....sincerely and with right motives....pray, pray and more pray for the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth and wisdom. Let not any distraction that occurred here affect whatever God may be trying to tell you. I want to apologize to ALL persons that I may have offended, discouraged, frightened, or confused during this debacle. I am still not perfect in Christ..never implied or said I was. There is a standard the Lord requires of His children and I must use Him as my measuring stick. Always keep your eyes on Jesus and let not a faulty messenger deter you from His holy and pure message. Wisdom says that one should know when it's time to "dust off one's feet" on a subject. I will no longer comment on this thread. Thank you to those who have been able to read my original message.
|
MODIFIED ONLY SHORTENED (I ONLY COPIED WHAT IS NECESSARY FOR THIS POST....RIGHT NOW) FROM MY ORIGINAL MESSAGE.....WORDS HAVE NOT BEEN CHANGED. There are times when an answer to a prayer takes time. The only thing that I will say is if you are searching for truth....sincerely and with right motives....pray, pray and more pray for the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth and wisdom.......................... Let not any distraction that occurred here affect whatever God may be trying to tell you............................ Wisdom says that one should know when it's time to "dust off one's feet" on a subject. I WILL NO LONGER comment on this thread. Thank you to those who have been able to read my original message. |
PeaceJoyLove:I say this with the most sincere heart: May God have mercy on your soul sir/madame. "Father, please forgive this person for he/she knows NOT what he/she is doing. Folks, this is not a joke....at least not on my end. I am praying for you. I am 1000 percent convinced that you are not understanding what you are writing. You cannot be....there's no way. Surrender to Jesus Christ before your time ends.....experience real and sincere peace. Harden not your heart. It has been hardened for too long. You're obsessed with my church--knowing absolutely nothing about it other than the day we worship.....which happens to also be a day a number of Nigerians also worship on...who are not Adventists. Something so false and demonic as you claim Adventists are...should not incite this much attention at all. You have gone above and beyond to try and destroy something you know nothing about...so you claim. That is how I KNOW that I am wrestling against supernatural forces here. By the way, the church has NEVER taught a "secret rapture"...Ellen White was not a pastor....she was a prophetess which is a spiritual gifting listed in the scriptures (and which many women possess)...and she was one of (3) co-founders--not the founder. Let me say this and nothing else on it. The SCRIPTURES (not ELLEN G. White) teach that a MAN/MALE/"Y" CHROMOSONED HUMAN is to be in the position of pastoral/ elder authority in a church setting..... The Bible has always and will always come first in my church's teachings. The God-inspired books that I presented here, "The Great Contoversy" and "The Desire og Ages", (2) of over 40 books and 5,000 periodicals written by the prophetess were introduced on my threads for the fact that they are and were scripturally inspired. God spoke through this woman....and I personally believe that by faith. Her works were never to take the place OF the BIBLE...nor did she ever teach that. When I say that you are highly possessed, I mean it. Those spirits are using you mightily and your only way out is through Jesus Christ. I am not playing around with you either. Something is seriously wrong and only the person of Jesus can heal you completely. There's a way to converse intelligently with someone whom you disagree with. You have never accomplished that feat and I highly doubt that it will in the future. So, I will NOT engage in anymore debate with you on this church. I started this thread and was interrupted by YOU sir/madame. You have a mission and agenda and do not think for a minute that I don't understand what it is. Whatever you believe I am or am not....whatever you believe is my denomination or not is up to you. I will not defend, debunk or engage your "beliefs" any further. Bring a million fake monikers to defend you. Build up a defense...allies..."friends"..."brothers" "sisters"....whomever. Yes...that is Nigeria...not all. There is a remnant of Godly folks left. I stand with God and Him alone. The truth has always and will always STAND no matter what. REMEMBER YOUR WORDS BELOW...FOREVER RECORDED I am a demon, false, lying, snake, nasty, manipulative, jezebelic, false Christian woman. My church is false because it doesn't preach a popular message and has less members (18-21 million worldwide) which is less than some other denominations in the world. People hate my church and stay away from it cause we are not of God. I leave you, as always, with these words: Jesus is pleading with you sir/madam to surrender to Him first....it is about Him. Mercy....Lord have mercy on this person from the depths of my heart. I hope you, PeaceJoyLove, choose Him. |
PeaceJoyLove:No, I did not modify that part. It was exactly what I wrote on Friday. See sir, in your voracious haste to attack, disparage and discredit me, you obviously failed to read that entire post. I hope, in humility, you can learn from your mistake. I have begun adding the words "MODIFIED" and specifying the part that has been added to any post I now create. However, there was no modification to the particular post I made the other day. It was all there at one time. Oh, I am not afraid....very far from the that. Why should I be scared when I have Christ with me? I have been accused of a whole lot (by you sir), but as I said before I will continue my thread at exactly the right time... The table will be prepared for me....at the right time....in the right way and with the right motives by me....by God and Him alone. All of these unfortunate events happened (in the manner that they did) clearly for a reason. Thank you sir. |
Bejusttoall:Sir, I respect your stance and agreement with the fellow poster. Thank you for your contribution to this thread. Happy Sabbath. |
PeaceJoyLove:I think you, of all people, know that I am no coward....one of the reasons I "bug" you so much. Demon one minute, Christian the next...Snake one minute....best friend and sister the next. Strong, domineering, annoying feminist one minute....coward and chicken the next. Sir pick one: either I'm a sincere Christian with admitted real flaws OR I'm a fake, Adventist demon who hates other denomination and am sent on a mission to build churches in Lagos and Abuja and have males pastor them because I might not be able to find my denomination as you stated on your thread? But I can't be both. I can't stand for Christ and Belial simultaneously. Even Christ said be either HOT OR COLD for Him...but NOT lukewarm. I mean where do you get these ideas from? Are you writing a religious script for a gospel play? In response to your challenge, I will prayerfully--through God's Holy Spirit-- continue my beloved thread at the absolute right time....no doubt about it and that's a promise. You should at least know that about me.... Thanks for the offer though. |
MODIFIED POST: I ADDED A BIG CHUNK IN ABOUT MY ETHNICITY/TRIBE/RACE THE FIFTH PARAGRAPH TOWARDS THE END OF MY POST. HIGHLIGHTED IN RED.THANKS Mercy.... Now my gender's being questioned as if he hasn't ever spoken to me on the phone before several times. I thought you were using the word "sister" as an endearing term here and over there. Not to signify my gender. Although having an "F" by my moniker proves nothing, you, yourself know that I am female. I am not struggling with my gender at all. I know exactly how I was born and will remain that way until death. When you used "sister" on your "denomination" thread, I looked at that context clues to assume that you were being kind for once....that's all. I was wondering how a person can treat someone so harshly and inhumane, then turn around and offer praises to them. Kindof like how the people did Jesus....one minute praising Him and the next responsible for His death...yelling "crucify Him." Let me in no way say that I'm perfect cause I'm not.....just showing an example. The point I wanted to make is that we are NOT friends. A person who has disrespected me in the manner you have for almost 3 years, could in no way be a friend, associate or brethren. I am not desperate for friends here on an online platform nor have I ever looked for any. I have not contacted you for months now and by the grace of God never will again....that is a promise. This wasn't about calling....which I could do but won't. You kept telling me to call you (on some threads) just about a (2) weeks ago anyway, but I refused. You don't have my new number so that's why you aren't able to call me....let us both be very real here. So you and I both know that it isn't about a call at this point. Yes sir/madam ....what has gone on between us is a spiritual warfare. Anyone reading anything I wrote who was searching for truth was discouraged, harassed or frightened away through your lies. You did a massive "PR" campaign built on straight lies...both publicly and privately to disparage me. You have a powerful influence over this N.L....that I know. The young & older folks here are scared to associate with me cause of the consequences of doing so. That won't stop me from speaking truth. My confidence is in Christ Jesus...only. In regards to writing about Ellen G. White, do you remember your words to me on my "Seventh-day Adventist Church" thread...? Remember the angry rant please and how you ended it.....keep to your words sir. It's not about "holding malice". It's about your abusive wild oral rants when you don't like someone speaking truth and having a voice. You type and type and type....insult, accuse, bully, degrade etc...in order to build up an army of supporters. You go on a psychological tirade....it's really beyond sad and frightening cause you are "set-off" by me. Then the next minute all is supposed to be ok...back to normal. You control how a person's supposed to behave before, during and after a situation. It is your behavior which is so questionable....I don't like your "double-speak". Praising me one day & stabbing that knife in my back with uncontrollable rage and ferocity the next. ]By the way, being a "foreign" guest on an online platform where I introduced my ethnicity, tribe and racial ties to the country (since I had been questioned about it before) in no way should correlate to putting it before my spirituality. People ask questions....and since I have been accused of being a "fake" Igbo, I felt it easier to identify myself on my personal text. I, in no way, was or am trying to insinuate tribal war...in a country I do not live in. However, I have nothing to be ashamed of....there are cultural differences. Thousands of ethnic groups there and I was specifying the one I was born into~ by 50 percent. Just as you told me privately, repeatedly how proud you are to be a Yoruba man. I even tolerated you when you spoke in such a negative manner about my tribe numerous times. In yesterday's thread that I commented on about tribal segregation in Chrustianity, I meant EVERY. SINGLE. WORD. It is wrong to put tribe over Christ for Christians. Identifying one's ethnic, racial and cultural roots is different from worshiping it over the LORD Jesus. I thought you would get that? So don't make this about tribal or racial bigotry...on my behalf. I placed the label back on my text too, so thanks for re-visiting it. Challenge to you: Bring forth the people who say I am "crazy"....here on N.L. Who ARE THEY? Let's not just say "many". That's "hear-say/gossip". Let's bring the proof....receipts....the monikers....the real folks I've actually talked on the phone with (in times past) too. I will await that patiently and PLEASE do NOT produce FAKE monikers. You rule by intimidation, threatening tactics and force. Sir, I always use Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV) because I recognized this longggg ago. Yes sir, a "power" IS controlling you....and controlling you extremely well. My heart breaks cause I am most certain that sometimes, you yourself DO NOT know what you are typing.... All I have been trying to do, since I truly recognized the forces, is to offer you peace through Christ Jesus. Please surrender to Him sir, before time's up....it's the best decision one could ever make. You have a great week-end too. Op, I really derailed and am very sorry. He wrote a dissertation and so I needed to give my rebuttal. I hope I won't be banned for this. Thanks
|
