Don't know who the following two people are: Mompha and the former aide. What I do know is that I wouldn't be surprised IF the "accusation" is true. Wouldn't be surprised at all. Many married men engage in sexual activity with other men....whilst being married...deny it publicly and keep it secret (until death). They don't label it "dating" either. It happens a lot in the U.S. but clearly is a huge "hush-hush" secret in Nigeria...where it clearly is happening on a much larger scale than folks think. It's sad because the wife and children will be the ultimate victims in those cases. |
1000 percent against it. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (KJV) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty When two people worship two completely different entities, there can be no true peace in the home. If one doesn't believe, then howcsn God be exalted, worshiped, spoken about? |
Codes151:I don't understand? |
Mercy....so vile, disgusting and repulsive. How do I pray for such wicked people? How? Sighs.....Nigeria is so cursed in so many ways...(and this is my opinion which I am allowed to have). I will NEVER be okay with "religious" murder.... Anyhow, rest in peace until the Lord returns pastor. Matthew 24:9 (KJV) 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Revelation 14:13 (KJV) 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them |
If true, thank and praise God for indeed a miracle of epic proportions. If ever to shout a name, Jesus is the one to shout. Those who know the Lord, know without a doubt that it was Him who saved.... |
Understanding the Three Angels Message--of Revelation 14. Happy Sabbath to all! What exactly is John the Revelator speaking about in this particular passage and is it relevant in which the times we are living? That is what I will explore in the next few posts. Revelation 14:6-13 (KJV) 6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. |

Good morning and Happy Sabbath! Proverbs 11: 1-13 (NLT) 1 The Lord detests the use of dishonest scales, but he delights in accurate weights. 2 Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. 3 Honesty guides good people; dishonesty destroys treacherous people 5 The godly are directed by honesty; the wicked fall beneath their load of sin. 6 The godliness of good people rescues them; the ambition of treacherous people traps them. 7 When the wicked die, their hopes die with them, for they rely on their own feeble strength. 8 The godly are rescued from trouble, and it falls on the wicked instead. 9 With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous. 10 The whole city celebrates when the godly succeed; they shout for joy when the wicked die. 11 Upright citizens are good for a city and make it prosper, but the talk of the wicked tears it apart. 12 It is foolish to belittle one’s neighbor; a sensible person keeps quiet. 13 A gossip goes around telling secrets, but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence |
In a sense, it makes sense. |
Patrioticman007:I wonder how you know it was Christian militia? Why would there even be a need for a Christian militia? Those news stations report the killings of Northern Christians because it is happening disproportionately and practically daily. Actually, it's not getting covered enough throughout the world. Murder of ANY human is a problem. God sees ALL evil done to innocent humans...regardless of Christian, Muslim etc. and He will repay. Be fair and not discriminatory sir. Your anger should be this way for ALL innocent people who get killed. Mourn for the dead baby and don't try to make a religious war out of it. |
That's awesome, but that man is not Chinese. He looks Indian, Pakistani or Middle Eastern. |
Really, really disheartening, disgusting, and demonic. I didn't look at any grotesque pic....just the title said it all for me. I did scroll to see the pic of how he looked and he was such a handsome little boy. Why an innocent baby? |
I would think not too high in comparison to males. Probably for "2" reasons (from what I've learned over my years here)..need I not even say. Some don't identify their gender, and others who do may just quietly read and never comment. Then you have the huge group of males pretending to be females. It's so extremely obvious to me when it's a male pretending... Anyhow, your patriarchal society there in Nigeria teaches females to be silent and non-opinionated from birth. Only a minority actually develop a "voice". I think that carries on to this website. Many probably have opinions or strong views about issues, but afraid to voice them for fear of being labeled a "jezebel" "husband/man" "unmarriageable" "feminist" or "trouble-maker" etc. Will probably never know since there is no viable or reputable vetting/verifiable process for users. |
Part 4 The fact that men have been possessed with demons, is clearly stated in the New Testament. The persons thus afflicted were not merely suffering with disease from natural causes. Christ had perfect understanding of that with which He was dealing, and He recognized the direct presence and agency of evil spirits. {GC 514.1} A striking example of their number, power, and malignity, and also of the power and mercy of Christ, is given in the Scripture account of the healing of the demoniacs at Gadara. Those wretched maniacs, spurning all restraint, writhing, foaming, raging, were filling the air with their cries, doing violence to themselves, and endangering all who should approach them. Their bleeding and disfigured bodies and distracted minds presented a spectacle well pleasing to the prince of darkness. One of the demons controlling the sufferers declared: "My name is Legion: for we are many." Mark 5:9. In the Roman army a legion consisted of from three to five thousand men. Satan's hosts also are marshaled in companies, and the single company to which these demons belonged numbered no less than a legion. {GC 514.2}
|
Mistake made...didn't quote right. Sorry |

LensAfrik:Ok...you mean 100 percent full-blooded, born, raised and living in Nigeria, "Nigerians". I got confused cause no where else did you write the name-calling on the thread....but on my mention if I'm not mistaken. Appreciate your reply. |
Good morning and Happy Friday! Using NLT today again. Words of wisdom from the wise King Solomon....via the Holy Spirit. Be blessed and have a wonderful day. Proverbs 29: 8-9, 11-12, 20, 22-27 (NLT) 8 Mockers can get a whole town agitated, but the wise will calm anger. 9 If a wise person takes a fool to court, there will be ranting and ridicule but no satisfaction. 11 Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back. 12 If a ruler pays attention to liars, all his advisers will be wicked 20 There is more hope for a fool than for someone who speaks without thinking 22 An angry person starts fights; a hot-tempered person commits all kinds of sin. 23 Pride ends in humiliation, while humility brings honor. 24 If you assist a thief, you only hurt yourself. You are sworn to tell the truth, but you dare not testify. 25 Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety. 26 Many seek the ruler’s favor, but justice comes from the Lord. 27 The righteous despise the unjust; the wicked despise the godly |
Sir, I hope the below quote wasn't addressed to me. If not, please disregard. If so, please do not speak to me in that manner. Although I know it's your culture to be brazen, abusive mysogynistic and heathenistic towards women, do not express that towards me. I know the path has been set for you to behave that way here on the forum too....but watch your words. If I've misread then kindly correct me in a humane and not barbaric way. No need for name-calling. Thanks You have a good day! LensAfrik: |
Animals (the majority) are such precious creatures.. I love seeing things like this. All it could do was show its appreciation.. So precious.. |
I'd hope you wouldn't jail ALL of the pastors in African countries (specifically Nigeria) because ALL pastors there are not corrupt, sheisty, un-called by God, money-hungry criminals. But if you did, you'd then also have to jaIl ALL religious leaders (not just in Christianity) there too...to be completely fair. |
A courageous warrior..... Thanks for this. The world is watching. gidgiddy: |
The plating is colorful and beautiful. However, I don't like soups and stews or pounded yam. It's the textures for me.. I grew up eating Egusi and Ogbono soups (which were good), but haven't eaten them as an adult nor do I have the desire. I would have a problem with the meat(s)...and I don't like veggies being ground up--blended in so that I can barely recognize them, although I can clearly see spinach or the leafy green veggie used. Just not a soup or stew person. |
Eviana:Isaiah 54: 15, 17 (KJV) 15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord |
Eviana:Good morning again folks, I decided to use a different translation--one that a friend of mine likes. I love me some King James Version, (KJV), however I'm gonna use the NLT (New Living Translation) for today's quotes. They seem much more potent in meaning. Food for reflection.... Be blessed and have a wonderful day! Proverbs 26: 2, 11-12, 18-28 (NLT) 2 Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse will not land on its intended victim 11 As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness. 12 There is more hope for fools than for people who think they are wise 18 Just as damaging as a madman shooting a deadly weapon 19 is someone who lies to a friend and then says, “I was only joking.” 20 Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops. 21 A quarrelsome person starts fights as easily as hot embers light charcoal or fire lights wood. 22 Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one’s heart. 23 Smooth[a] words may hide a wicked heart, just as a pretty glaze covers a clay pot. 24 People may cover their hatred with pleasant words, but they’re deceiving you. 25 They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them. Their hearts are full of many evils. 26 While their hatred may be concealed by trickery, their wrongdoing will be exposed in public. 27 If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will crush you instead. 28 A lying tongue hates its victims, and flattering words cause ruin |
He is a handsome guy....minus the yellow hair. Hopefully, he is humble about his looks... |
I like how you wrote this. Lots of good points. Moneyfem: |
My heart goes out to her. Demons with no conscience.. I keep saying that one can not keeping dealing treacherously and think that the wicked behavior won't come back on him/her. As the Bible says, one will reap what one sows...guaranteed. |
