Celebrities / Re: Bobrisky Denies Dating Mompha by Eviana(f): 1:58pm On Sep 26, 2021
Don't know who the following two people are:
Mompha and the former aide.
What I do know is that I wouldn't be surprised IF the "accusation" is true. Wouldn't be surprised at all.
Many married men engage in sexual activity with other men....whilst being married...deny it publicly and keep it secret (until death).
They don't label it "dating" either.
It happens a lot in the U.S. but clearly is a huge "hush-hush" secret in Nigeria...where it clearly is happening on a much larger scale than folks think.
It's sad because the wife and children will be the ultimate victims in those cases.

1000 percent against it.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (KJV)

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty

When two people worship two completely different entities, there can be no true peace in the home. If one doesn't believe, then howcsn God be exalted, worshiped, spoken about?

Understanding the Three Angels Message--of Revelation 14.
Happy Sabbath to all!
What exactly is John the Revelator speaking about in this particular passage and is it relevant in which the times we are living? That is what I will explore in the next few posts.

Revelation 14:6-13 (KJV)

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus

SonofIsachar:
A man was being tailgated by a stressed-out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection with him. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.

The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping the guy off in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do" bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday School' bumper sticker and the chrome-plated fish emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car."

Proverbs 11: 1-13 (NLT)

1 The Lord detests the use of dishonest scales,
but he delights in accurate weights
.

2 Pride leads to disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom.

3 Honesty guides good people;
dishonesty destroys treacherous people

5 The godly are directed by honesty;
the wicked fall beneath their load of sin
.

6 The godliness of good people rescues them;
the ambition of treacherous people traps them.

7 When the wicked die, their hopes die with them,
for they rely on their own feeble strength.

8 The godly are rescued from trouble,
and it falls on the wicked instead
.

9 With their words, the godless destroy their friends,
but knowledge will rescue the righteous
.

10 The whole city celebrates when the godly succeed;
they shout for joy when the wicked die.

11 Upright citizens are good for a city and make it prosper,
but the talk of the wicked tears it apart.

12 It is foolish to belittle one’s neighbor;
a sensible person keeps quiet.

but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence

This is a case of Christians militia killing innocent Muslim kids in the name of revenge.
Had this boy been a Christian, the hypocrite media houses would have tag BBC, CNN , ICJ & Co. Well KARMA knows the addresses of all the evil Christians that joined hands in killing this innocent little boy & for those of you supporting them tactically with your online likes & shares, don't cry when karma knocks on your door.

I wonder how you know it was Christian militia?
Why would there even be a need for a Christian militia?
Those news stations report the killings of Northern Christians because it is happening disproportionately and practically daily.
Actually, it's not getting covered enough throughout the world.

Murder of ANY human is a problem.
God sees ALL evil done to innocent humans...regardless of Christian, Muslim etc. and He will repay. Be fair and not discriminatory sir. Your anger should be this way for ALL innocent people who get killed.

I would think not too high in comparison to males.

Probably for "2" reasons (from what I've learned over my years here)..need I not even say.

Some don't identify their gender, and others who do may just quietly read and never comment.
Then you have the huge group of males pretending to be females. It's so extremely obvious to me when it's a male pretending...
Anyhow, your patriarchal society there in Nigeria teaches females to be silent and non-opinionated from birth.
Only a minority actually develop a "voice".
I think that carries on to this website.
Many probably have opinions or strong views about issues, but afraid to voice them for fear of being labeled a "jezebel" "husband/man" "unmarriageable" "feminist" or "trouble-maker" etc.

Will probably never know since there is no viable or reputable vetting/verifiable process for users.

All the while Jesus was at Jerusalem during the feast He was shadowed by spies. Day after day new schemes to silence Him were tried. The priests and rulers were watching to entrap Him. They were planning to stop Him by violence. But this was not all. They wanted to humble this Galilean rabbi before the people.

...Those who are forward in accusing others, and zealous in bringing them to justice, are often in their own lives more guilty than they. Men hate the sinner, while they love the sin. Christ hates the sin, but loves the sinner. This will be the spirit of all who follow Him.[/b]

So I'm really excited to share this "20" episode series on the Book of Revelation, entitled, REVELATION NOW presented by Pastor Doug Batchelor, also President of "Amazing Facts". The series, which was done live on October 25-November 14, 2020, biblically addresses the unprecedented, turbulent and challenging times that we are now facing.

I had last year, on my "Testimonies" thread, recommended that people hear his-Pastor Doug's (along with 2 other guys') testimony.
I, several years ago, went to a Revelation prophecy seminar which changed my life.
I am extremely impressed to share this here..for someone. God knows who you are.
Warning: the presentations are about 1 and 1/2 hours, but they are all on YouTube. You can alao go on the RevelationNow.com website to view from there and get other resources.
I sincerely pray that you will be blessed, surrender to Jesus and get ready for His soon return.

Part 4

The fact that men have been possessed with demons, is clearly stated in the New Testament. The persons thus afflicted were not merely suffering with disease from natural causes. Christ had perfect understanding of that with which He was dealing, and He recognized the direct presence and agency of evil spirits. {GC 514.1}

A striking example of their number, power, and malignity, and also of the power and mercy of Christ, is given in the Scripture account of the healing of the demoniacs at Gadara. Those wretched maniacs, spurning all restraint, writhing, foaming, raging, were filling the air with their cries, doing violence to themselves, and endangering all who should approach them. Their bleeding and disfigured bodies and distracted minds presented a spectacle well pleasing to the prince of darkness. One of the demons controlling the sufferers declared: "My name is Legion: for we are many." Mark 5:9. In the Roman army a legion consisted of from three to five thousand men. Satan's hosts also are marshaled in companies, and the single company to which these demons belonged numbered no less than a legion. {GC 514.2}

I would have a problem with the meat(s)...and I don't like veggies being ground up--blended in so that I can barely recognize them, although I can clearly see spinach or the leafy green veggie used.

Nairaland / General / Re: 7 Major Ways To Control Your Judgemental Instincts by Eviana(f): 9:29pm On Sep 22, 2021
I like how you wrote this.
Lots of good points.

Moneyfem:
7 MAJOR WAYS TO CONTROL YOUR JUDGEMENTAL INSTINCTS

If one is not careful, one will spontaneously be passing judgements on everybody for every mistake they make. It is a natural instinct to want to judge others even when God said we should not judge. Judgement in this sense means always criticizing and condemning others for their errors instead of finding ways to lovingly move close to them, reprove and then correct them. It should be noted that judgements in the court of law on criminals is different from this type of judgement we are talking about here.

Below are some of the ways one can put that instinct to check whenever there is an urge to quickly judge and condemn others for every error they make.

1. Love yourself and feel good about yourself: Personal comparison usually breeds judgements on others. If you love yourself the way God created you and what God has given you grace to achieve, you will not be judging and condemning others every time. Feel good about yourself always.

2. Look at your own behaviour. Are you 100% perfect?

3. Educate yourself about yourself and others: Some people behave in some ways that attract people's judgements not because they wish to behave like that but because of either health, psychological or even spiritual problems they have. If you are not educated on causes of their actions, you will just keep judging them and that will not help them. Your own excessive judgemental urge also may be caused by a health, social or spiritual lacuna which is unknown to you. You have to know about yourself too.

4. Look for basic kindness of others: If you remember that someone has his areas of strengths and some element of being nice, you will not want to condemn them when they commit little errors. Everyone has his/her good and bad sides.

5. Put yourself in their shoes.

6. Forgive them.

7. Don't judge yourself for being too judgemental all this while.

Thank you for reading.
