Naira Marley incurred the wrath of some
Twitter users after he took to Twitter and
wrote " "Retweet if you don't believe in
coronavirus."

The controversial singer also went ahead to
joke about '5,000 cases of confirmed unwanted
pregnancies' in Lekki area of Lagos State.

Naira Marley however got tackled by some
social media users who accused him of using
his platform to disseminate "wrong
information" which is not wanted at this time.

The Kenyan government has told members of the
public to avoid unnecessary sex and have at
least two beds in one household.

The government also discouraged any close
contact of people with their partners saying that
will increase the chance of spreading
coronavirus.

Kenya has confirmed three more coronavirus
cases, meaning the country now has seven
patients with Covid 19.

Health Cabinet secretary Mutahi Kagwe on
Wednesday confirmed that three more patients
had tested positive for the virus.

Two of the cases were a couple that travelled
from Madrid, Spain on March 4 through Dubai
arriving in Kenya on March 5.

The tired case is a Burundian national who
travelled from Dubai, UAE, to Kenya. He arrived
on March 17 and was picked up by a surveillance
team, Mr Kagwe said.

"We are tracing persons who may have been in
contact with the patients” he said.

The tested were done by the National Influenza
Centre and the Kenya Medical Research
Institute.

Eighteen patients are currently admitted at
Mbagathi. Of these, the CS said seven have been
screened and are negative. Samples of 11 others
are still being processed.

The Kenya government is now appealing to
Kenyans to report anyone who is not self-
quarantining.

“Any Kenyans travelling into the country must
sign a legal form to assure the gov’t that you
will be self-quarantine, ” he said.

Mr Kagwe also stressed the importance of strict
hygiene in curbing the spread of the
pandemic.“Washing hands and social distancing
is the key reasons Chinese cases are coming
down.”

coronavirus quarantine, a lot of marriages will
pack up as most couples will get bored with
each other.

People have been advised to stay at home and
maintain social distancing in order to halt the
spread of the deadly disease, and according to
the relationship expert and psychologist,
relationships and marriages are not 'ready for
the Quarantine' because it will seem like a
social experiment for most couples, staying
indoors without any distractions.

For men, he says they are not going to handle
the situation well because 80% of Husbands
don’t want sex with their wives anymore. He
also stated that 90% of Husbands can’t survive
without watching sports, betting on sports and
going out at night.

For women, he added that 70% of wives will
struggle in terms of holding a decent
conversation with their husbands, making three
square meals and doing house chores.

Nigerian pastor in Abia has claimed there is no coronavirus in the country as people have been made to believe.
Kingsley Innocent, an Abia-based Pastor who is also known as Talkanado has shared his thoughts about the recently recorded cases of coronavirus in the country.
According to the General Overseer of Bible Believing Mission, there is no coronavirus in Nigeria because it cannot survive in the country. He added that the flu-like virus cannot survive in Nigeria when there is "corrosive annointing".
He added that anytime it is genuinely confirmed in Nigeria, it will stop all over the world. Pastor Talkanado who insinuated there is plan to divert N620m meant to combat coronavirus in the country, backed his claim by pointing out that the identity of the Italian man who was the index case of the disease was not made public.
It should however be noted that 27 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the country, out of which 2 have been discharged.

According to a report by Punch Metro, there was
a fire outbreak in Agboju, close to FESTAC,
Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Lagos State on
Sunday.

This is coming one week after no fewer than 23
people died in an explosion at Soba, Abule Ado
area of FESTAC.

The cause of the outbreak could not be
ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

The ex-Red Devil is the first Chinese Super
League player to be diagnosed with the virus
Marouane Fellaini has tested positive for
coronavirus in the Chinese province of Jinan,
according to a local health department.

The former Everton and Manchester United
player is currently lining up for Chinese Super
League (CSL) side Shandong Luneng and
arrived by train in Jinan on March 20 when
the positive test was taken.

Fellaini, 32, is the first CSL player to test
positive for coronavirus to date, with that
competition, like most around the world ,
currently suspended indefinitely.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday morning, the
Belgian said: "Dear friends, I have been tested
for coronavirus and my test result is positive.

"Thanks to the fans, medical staff and the
club for their care and attention. I will follow
the treatment and hope to return to the game

While Covid-19 originated from China, reports
from the country have suggested a dramatic
decrease in diagnosed cases over the past
month as things deteriorate elsewhere around
the world.

Fellaini moved to Shandong in 2019 and
enjoyed a successful first season with the

as his side finished fifth in the league.

As the coronavirus gets worse around the
globe, football has been unable to escape its
grasp with a number of players, managers and

On Saturday, former Real Madrid president
Lorenzo Sanz sadly passed away after being

Juventus star Paulo Dybala joined a growing
list of players from the club to test positive .

With Serie A currently suspended until April,
Roma midfielder Javier Pastore has suggested
he can't see the season actually being able to
finish as things stand.

"We'll see if we play again from this season
or the next. To be honest, I think it'll be
impossible to finish the season, as we need
at least 20-30 days of training to be ready,"
the Argentina international told Radio
Impacto.

"All the clubs will lose money, but I think it's
pretty much impossible to resume where we
left off. It would mean ending later and later,
so having to move the start of the next
campaign.

A lorry has rammed into a car killing two
members of the National Youth Service Corps
along Ajeokuta-Lokoja Expressway.

Two members of the National Youth Service
Corps have died after getting involved in a fatal
motor accident along Ajeokuta-Lokoja
expressway on Thursday.

Information revealed by an eyewitness, Ma Bebe,
has it that the deceased Corps members died
when a lorry rammed into the Toyota Corolla car
they were travelling in.

“Terrible accident happened along Ajeokuta-
Lokoja express between toyota corolla car and a
lorry, why driving down from umuahia to Abuja…
When i checked, it was two dead corpers, nobody
knows where they were coming from and going
to…. Its was horrible. rip to them” Bebe wrote.

The Italian who imported coronavirus to
Nigeria has tested negative for the virus.

The man, who flew into Nigeria from Milan,
Italy, on February 24, had been receiving
treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital
in Yaba, Lagos.

At a press briefing on Thursday, Akin
Abayomi, commissioner for health, said the
44-year-old Italian tested negative for the
virus.

He said another test would be conducted and
if he also tests negative, the patient would
be discharged.

“The index case is now negative. The only
reason he is still with us is because he needs
two negative tests but he is ready and
anxious to go,” he said.

The Akwa Ibom State Government has signed
into law the Cultism and Other Violent
Behaviour (Prohibition) Order, 2020 for the
state.

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel
proscribed 51 cult groups and societies in the
state following the recent cult related violence
and unrest in schools.

This is in addition to 14 other cult groups
earlier proscribed by the state government in
2018.

The proscription order which was signed
yesterday by Governor, Udom Emmanuel, came
into effect on March 16, 2020.

Reiterating his administration’s commitment to
maintaining the state’s record in safety, peace,
security and investor-friendliness, as well as
ensuring a future for the Akwa Ibom youth, the
Governor said the new law has been expanded
to cover components not covered in the
previous law.

He therefore declared the revocation of the
Cultism and other violent Behavior (Prohibition)

Commencement.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred on me by
Section 70 of the Criminal Code Law, Cap. 38,

A Nigerian man simply identified as Barisuka,
has died after he got electrocuted while
charging his phone in his home in Port
Harcourt, the Rivers state capital on Monday
March 9th.

A friend of the deceased, Emmanuel Alagiri Jnr,
who shared the story online, said the deceased
who is his neighbor, was charging his phone,
placed it on his body and slept off. It was later
discovered that he was electrocuted in the
process.

"Avoid putting phone on ur body when
charging,he was electrocuted,This one happen
in my yard at port Harcourt, the black wounded
spot on his hand is the place where the electric
current tear.

The Governor of Kano state, Abdullahi
Ganduje has revealed why Emir of Kano,
Lamido Sanusi II was dethroned.


More details why the government of The Kano
State under Abdullahi Ganduje dethroned the
Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi II have been
revealed.

The government stated that Sanusi was
dethroned over alleged insubordination, refusal
to attend official meetings and breach of Kano
Emirate Law.

Thsi was made known in a press statement
signed by Secretary to the State Government,
Usman Alhaji, announcing the removal of
Sanusi.

Before the announcement on Monday,
members of the Kano House of Assembly had
engaged in a free-for-all over an attempt to
remove the Emir.

The statement noted that Sanusi’s removal was
a unanimous decision of members of the State
Executive Council.


The statement read, “The Kano State Executive
Council under the Chairmanship of his
Excellency, the Governor of Kano State, Dr
Abdullahi GAnduje, has unanimously approved
the immediate removal/dethronement of the
Emir of Kano Emirate Muhammad Sanusi II.

“The Emir of Kano is in total disrespect to
lawful instructions from the office of the state
Governor and other lawful authorities, including
his persistent refusal to attend official meetings
and programmes organised by the Government
without any lawful justification which amounts
to total insubordination.

“It is on record and in so many instances
Malam Muhammad Sanusi II has been found
breaching part 3 Section 13 (a-e) of the Kano
State Emirate Law 2019 and which if left
unchecked will destroy the good and
established image of Kano Emirate.

“This removal is made after due consultation
with the relevant stakeholders and in
compliance with Part 3 Section 13 of the Kano
State Emirate Law 2019 and other reasons
stated above.

“The removal was reached in order to
safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition,
religion, and prestige of the Kano Emirate built
over a thousand years.”

The governor subsequently called on the public
to remain calm, law-abiding and to go about
their normal businesses.

“A new Emir of Kano will soon be appointed,”
the statement added.
