A woman allegedly stabbed her husband twice while he was sleeping because she suspected him of having a side chic. Facebook user Chinonso Chibuogwu claimed the incident happened in Owerri, Imo state. He added that the victim is his friend. He said the wife of Mr Jude Mmadu suspected him of infidelity so she stabbed him twice while he was asleep. He managed to wake up and escaped before she could harm him further. Sharing graphic photos of the injured husband in the hospital, Chinonso Chibuogwu wrote: "Hmmm! Just visited my friend Mr Jude mmadu from FMC owerri this morning. His wife tried to kill him because she suspected that he has a side chic somewhere. Thank God after stabbing him twice as he was sleeping, he managed to wake up and escape." He added: "Just yesterday I talked about it. Nd? husband be careful this year because the spirit of 'stabbing' is seriously roaming about and those about to marry, you better put it on hold first (maka nd? g?) till we're able to organise special prayer for this new development. ?? A child was blown out of its buggy then sent flying into the road by Storm Ciara's strong winds. The child was said to have been out walking with family in Blackpool on Sunday afternoon, February 9, when a powerful gust whipped the kid out of the buggy and flying into the road. In a video shared online, the family is seen trying to battle against the wet and windy conditions as they pushed two children in a buggy. Suddenly, a gust of wind blows the smaller child out of the buggy and sends them tumbling off the pavement and into a puddle on the road. An adult immediately runs after the child as onlookers scream. The video ends before it is clear whether the parent managed to grab the child out of harm's way. A witness told the Sun the child was safely rescued. Storm Ciara claimed its first life on Sunday afternoon after a 58-year-old man was killed by a falling tree as he drove from Winchester to his home in Micheldever, Hants. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reacted to Abia Police Commissioner, Ene Okon's threat to disrupt the funeral of the parents of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), if members of the group attend the event. Ene Okon had told The Sun that the burial of Eze Kanu and his wife, king and queen of Afaraukwu, will not take place with the presence of IPOB members. He stated that the police would react if an IPOB flag, insignia or any form of identification is seen at the burial ceremony scheduled for February 14. Oko was quoted saying; “I have already reached out to the traditional prime minister of Afaraukwu (Nnamdi Kanu’s community) and told him that if they want the burial to go smoothly and for police to give them security, they should tell IPOB not to near the area not to talk of participating in the burial,” he said. “If they fail to adhere to what we’ve told them, that means they do not want the burial to go on smoothly because we are going to scatter the place. IPOB is proscribed by the federal government. I, as the commissioner of police in Abia cannot sit here and allow any proscribed group to operate anywhere in this state. “I am saying this again for emphasis that there is no way police will allow a proscribed group to participate in the burial of the king and queen of Afaraukwu simply because they are the parents of their acclaimed leader, we will not allow that and we cannot take anything for granted in the face of abundant intelligence on threat by IPOB.” However reacting to the statement credited to the police commissioner, IPOB warned against using the name of its leader to curry favor from the federal government. In a statement released on Monday February 10 by the proscribed group's Media and Publicity Secretary Emma Powerful, Ene Okon was accused of pushing for a chaotic scene at Nnamdi Kanu's parents' burial so he will be rewarded with the rank of AIG. The Police boss was also described as an "unknown Fulani boy-boy and servant in police uniform in Umuahia.” They reiterated their leader's threat of hunting down and killing family members and children of the Abia Police Comissioner, if any shot is fired at the burial ceremony. The statement reads; “It is now crystal clear to the general public that this caliphate servant in Nigeria Police uniform named CP Okon supposedly in charge of Abia Police Command in Umuahia Abia state wants to use the name of our most reverred leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and indomitable IPOB worldwide to be noticed as the Fulani slave of the month. “Last month it was Hope Uzodinma in Imo State, this month it is the turn of Abia in the person of this Mr Okon. He is given to making these irrelevant statements in order to advance his unremarkable career as the obedient servant of the caliphate the same way other equally misguided slaves in his position did before him. “He and his masters in Arewa arid lands of the north should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for threatening people attending a funeral service. “Such despicable and downright condemnable utterance can only obtain in Biafraland where socio- cultural and political leadership are in the hands of unrepentant traitors. “Will a commissioner of police make such a ridiculous statement in the Sharia north? Not even during the burial ceremony of countless murderous Fulani terrorists in the north did any police commissioner find it worthy to warn mourners not to attend a funeral service. “In the sad history of Nigeria, never has there been an edict or warning issued against those mourning the passing of loved ones only now in Abia State. CP Okon is expecting his slave masters to reward him the rank of AIG after the burial of our leader’s parents which we can assure him he will never get. “As our leader expressly pronounced during his radio address on Saturday 8 February 2020, should any shot be fired in and around Afaraukwu on Friday 14 February 2020, the family and children of CP Okon will be hunted down and killed. “If Buratai is involved through his cowardly army that ran away from Boko Haram in the north with their tails between their legs, is found culpable his children will also pay the price anywhere they are in the world. We say enough is enough! “Before this Okon came, there were other loud mouthed southern police commissioners in Abia that sought to impress their Alimajiri masters by making unedifying and unguarded utterances against our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the indomitable IPOB family. “The same way they sunk into oblivion is exactly the same way this talkertative imp will be quickly consigned to the scrapheap of used and discarded unthinking caliphate servants from the south. He is not the first and neither will he be the last. We wonder why these slaves to the Fulani people and their Caliphate in Sokoto reason negatively always. “IPOB is not in the business of responding to incompetent lowly ranked officers of a failed, shameless, uncivilised and discredited colonial disgrace like Nigeria. “IPOB is an international movement currently engaged in international diplomacy to drive home the need to put the long suffering ethnic nationalities the British herded together into their failed experiment in Nigeria out of the primitive stranglehold of the eternally backward Arewa core north. “These inconsequential and roundly incompetent local police and military operatives blabbing away from a poorly maintained office in a delapidated building in Umuahia and Ohafia are not worthy of an intelligent response from the great IPOB. We shall as always peacefully attend the burial of His Royal Majesty and his wife and should Nigerian army and police attempt to breach the peace, the world will bear us witness. “However it is important we inform the Fulani masters of this Okon and those parading themselves as military officers in Afaraukwu Umuahia to beware because they cannot stop IPOB from coming to the burial of our leader’s parents on 14th of February, next week Friday. Biafra is resonating all over the world today especially thanks to our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB family worldwide. “All the years of threats and brutal crackdowns on IPOB have all resulted in making IPOB more defiant, determined and ruthless in our pursuit of the noble goal of Biafra liberation. The recent statement in the Sun newspaper of the 8th of February 2020 attributed to this CP Okon is something he will come to regret in time to come. “If the military might of the Alimajiri Nigerian north, grand conspiracy of the judiciary and mind-numbing treachery of Igbo governors and Ohaneze Ndigbo could not stop IPOB, how much less an unknown Fulani boy-boy and servant in police uniform in Umuahia.” https://naijamerit.com.ng/2020/02/10/youre-an-unknown-fulani-servant-in-police-uniform-ipob-replies-abia-police-commissioner-ene-okon-over-threat-to-disrupt-nnamdi-kanus-parents-burial/ |
The men of the Ogun State Police Command, on Sunday, arrested the President of the Students’ Union Government of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Adegboye Olatunji, and one Olarewaju Taiwo during cult initiation. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who made this known in a statement on Monday, said the suspects were caught in the bush in full regalia of the dreaded cult group. He said, “The duo was arrested following information received by the police at the Ilaro Division from members of the public that some group of people suspected to be cultists were sighted in a bush at Gbogidi area of Ilaro where they were trying to initiate new members into their dreaded group. “On receiving the information, the DPO Ilaro Division, CSP Olayemi Jacob, mobilised his patrol team and swiftly moved to the scene where the two suspects were arrested with the assistance of members of the public while others escaped through the bush. “The two arrested cultists who are in full regalia of the dreaded cult group have been taken to custody at the Ilaro Divisional Headquarters, where they are being currently interrogated.” https://alexis.lindaikejisblog.com/photos/shares/5e415c54412bb.jpg The PPRO said the Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the anti-cultists section of the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for a discreet investigation. Meanwhile, the Polytechnic has suspended Adegboye for alleged involvement in cultism. The institution said this in a statement signed by the Deputy Registrar, Public Relations, Sola Abiala. Abiala said the suspension of Adegboye “is consequent upon the foiling of the meeting of some cult groups from the neighbouring community, by the security architecture and network of the Polytechnic, the Local Vigilante Group in conjunction with Nigerian Police Force and the Directorate of State Security. “The suspension of Adegboye is in line with the Act establishing the Polytechnic and the provision of the Students Handbook coupled with the Polytechnic’s zero tolerance to cultism, pending his appearance before the Students Disciplinary Committee to establish his culpability or otherwise. “The Management, therefore, uses this medium to re-emphasise its zero tolerance for cultism and other misdemeanours.” https://punchng.com/police-arrest-ilaro-poly-sug-president-during-cult-initiation/

A former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke (SAN), on Monday, expressed his preference to be remanded in the Kuje Correctional Centre to the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. His lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), spoke on his behalf shortly after he was arraigned on fresh money laundering charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday. Adoke was arraigned alongside Aliyu Abubakar, who was accused of paying dollar equivalent of N300m in Adoke’s account in September 2013 in violation of the Money Laundering Act. Ozekhome was arguing his client’s bail application when he noted that his client was produced in court by the EFCC from the Federal Medical Centre near Jabi, Abuja, where he had been admitted for treatment. After the defendants took their pleas, the prosecuting counsel, Mr. Bala Sanga, had urged the court to remand them in the custody of the EFCC pending when their bail applications would be heard and determined. The defence lawyers immediately noted that they already filed their bail applications and had been responded to by the prosecution. While arguing his bail application, Ozekhome who urged the court to grant bail to the former AGF in liberal and affordable terms and conditions said his client would prefer to be remanded in the Kuje Correctional Centre, instead of the custody of the EFCC. He said, “ The first defendant voluntarily returned to the country. There is his statement attached to show that he returned to the country voluntarily. “He did not run away. We have attached an exhibit to show that he went for his Masters’ study abroad. “We have deposed to the affidavit about his health conditions. The prosecution themselves brought him to court from the Federal Medical Centre near Jabib in Abuja, this morning. “We also plead that he be taken to the Kuje Correction Centre, a euphemism for Kuje prison pending when he meets his bail conditions to avoid the mental psychological strictures he goes through in the custody of the EFCC. “My lord we pray that he be granted bail in liberal and affordable terms and conditions so that he can take care of himself. “The law says, ‘come and stand trial’, it did not say ‘come and sit trial or come and prostate trial’. “My lord as you can see, the first defendant who is less than 60 is already bent with age.” https://www.tori.ng/news/141347/breaking-adoke-rejects-efcc-custody-chooses-kuje-p.html |
In reply please quote Ref No. CZ.5300/FPRD/FHQ/ABJ/VOL.2/Date: 9th February, 2020 The Director of News ……………………………. PRESS RELEASE FURTHER UPDATE ON ONGOING COUNTER- TERROR OPERATIONS - 3 more Terrorists arrested https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EQVPbEoWAAEaZb6.jpg Following sustained mop-up operations by Police operatives at the operational bases of the Ansaru Terrorists’ Group in Kuduru Forest, Birnin-Gwari, three (3) more members of the Ansaru Terror Group have been arrested. They are; Munkailu Liman Isah aka Babban Driver'm' 32yrs, Abdullahi Saminu aka Danmunafiki 'm' 21yrs and Aminu Usman 'm' 22yrs. This brings the number of persons arrested to eight (8.) The suspects are already assisting Police investigators with useful information relating to the membership spread and make-up, criminal/ operational records, logistics and general modus operandi of the terror group. Preliminary investigation reveals that the arrested suspects were actively involved in the recent attack and attempted kidnap of the Emir of Potiskum that resulted in the gruesome killing of the Emir’s Police escorts. They were also involved in several other kidnap operations and terror attacks on commuters and other innocent citizens along some major highways, especially in the North-West and North Central States of the country. Unfortunately, investigation also reveals that some citizens, especially those within the business community, give tacit support to the terror groups by deliberately doing businesses with them through the supply of essential goods, drugs (licit/illicit) and other services. To this end, the IGP calls for patriotism amongst the people, noting that this is the only way the fight against the criminal elements can truly be won. While Police operatives are on the close trail of other fleeing members of the terror groups and their collaborators, the IGP has expressed immense appreciation to all and sundry, especially the good people of Birnin-Gwari and environs for their understanding, cooperation and support which have resulted in the measure of successes recorded so far particularly in the fight against terrorism, banditry and other heinous crimes in the country. Here is why there is a possibility that the Igbo tribe is from Israel due to certain similarities. https://www.tori.ng/userfiles/image/2020/feb/06/Igbo%20men.JPG Igbo Men However, apart from the story of how they came into being, the Igbos also shares some similar practices with the biblical Jews. But upon factual analysis, one is forced to rethink the possibility of this claim. Known to be third largest of the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria, the typical Igbo communities are found in the southeastern part of Nigeria. And according to oral tradition and many writers of Igbo history, Eri is to the Igbos, what Oduduwa is to the Yoruba. But unlike Oduduwa whose father is unknown, Eri was the fifth son of Gad, the seventh son of Jacob (Genesis 46:15-18 and Numbers 26:16:18). He was said to have migrated from Egypt with a group of companions just before the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt thousands of years ago. Eri and his group were said to have traveled by water and finally arrived at the confluence of Ezu and Omambala Rivers, located in present- day Aguleri, Anambra State. We were not told how long their voyage took to get to their promised land, what we were told is that Eri and his group was divinely instructed to make the confluence of Ezu and Omambala Rivers their final destination. They would move into the hinterland and make a settlement in the present-day Aguleri. It was here that Eri lived and died. Meanwhile, amongst Eri's children was Agulu, the eldest son who took over from his father after his demise. It was him who appended the name of his father, Eri, to his name and founded Agulu-Eri (Aguleri) by calling the settlement where his father Eri died and he (Agulu) lived AGULERI. However, apart from the story of how they came into being, the Igbos also shares some similar practices with the biblical Jews. And among the Igbos, these traditional practices predate the coming of the Christian missionaries. Examples of shared traditional practices between the Jews and the Igbos include circumcising male children eight days after birth, refraining from eating "unclean" or tabooed foods, mourning the dead for seven days and celebrating the New Moon. Supporting this belief is Daniel Lis, a foremost researcher on Jewish Identification among the Igbo from the University of Basel, Switzerland. He affirms that there has been a clear continuity of Jewish identity among the Igbo. "It's not just something that happened yesterday, " he said. In addition to the shared practices between the Jews and the Igbos, there is a striking evidence that forces one to see a link between the Igbos and the ancient civilization of Egypt: It is the Ancient Igbo Pyramids, which is also known as the Nsude Pyramids. The Ancient Igbo Pyramids or Nsude Pyramids is a testimony of ancient civilization among the Igbos. Nobody knows when it was built, but archeologists have said that the pyramids have lasted centuries and are believed to have been built at the same time the first or second wave of Egyptian pyramids were built by the Nubians. With similar features to that of the Stepped Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, Egypt, one is forced to contemplate on the mystery behind their resemblance. And without exaggeration, it can be suggested that the knowledge of one must have led to the building of the other. Be that as it may, it should be stated here for the purpose of clarity that the word Ndi Igbo/ Ndigbo mean the "Ancient People. " And according to them, the British called us IBO or (Igbos): A word synonymous to Hebrew. There are other interesting arguments, with regard to the topic of this article, that has been presented by concerned Igbo scholars. Notable among them is the claim that the following Igbo words/phrases were used in the bible. 1. Jee na isi isi (Genesis) Known to be the first book in the bible, some Igbo scholars believe that the word is a corrupted version of the Igbo phrase "jee na isi isi" which when translated in English means "go to the very first". 2. Detere nu umu (Deuteronomy) Known to be the fifth book in the Bible, the word “Deuteronomy ” is from Latin Deuteronomium, from Greek Deuteronomion and originally from Igbo phrase "detere nu umu". The Igbo phrase, "Detere nu umu" means "written down for the children". And actually, the book of Deuteronomy was words written down to serve as laws for the children of God. 3. Asaa bu taa (Sabbath) According to the biblical story of creation, God rested on the seventh day. Sabbath is a day set aside for rest and worship. The word is said to be the same with the Igbo phrase "asaa bu taa" which means "today is seventh." 4. Chere ubim (Cherubim) Described in the Bible as a winged angel and represented in ancient Middle Eastern art as a lion or bull with eagles' wings and a human face, Cherubim is regarded in Christian angelology as an angel of the second highest order of the nine-fold celestial hierarchy. However, the name is believed to be a distorted version of the Igbo phrase "chere ubim" which means "guard my home." And of course, angels are guardians. 5. Nta lite kuo ume (Talitha cumi) According to the book of Mark 5:41, Jesus was storied to have raised from death the daughter of Jairus. And "Talitha cumi " were the words he used. "Talitha cumi" or "Talitha kum" or "Talitha koum" is an Aramaic phrase and believed to be an Igbo phrase "nta lite kuo ume " which means "little child wake up and start breathing". https://www.pulse.ng/lifestyle/food-travel/igbo-history-heres-why-there-is-a-possibility-that-this-tribe-is-from-israel/nztl1zl |

The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has unveiled the Northern Regional Security Initiative code-named “SHEGE KA FASA” for ratification by the northern governors as part of measures to address security challenges within the region, according to a report by Nigerian Tribune. According to the group, “SHEGE KA FASA” is designed to be the vanguard of the entire North encompassing every ethnic group and religion and to be deeply patriotic in its operation. It also resolved to formalize this request by writing to the governors through the Northern Governors Forum and to the leaderships of traditional, religious and cultural institutions in the region. The spokesperson of the group, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman while addressing the press before the unveiling said that the security challenges manifested in 2008 in the form of a deadly insurgency from the Northeast and within a short time, spread to other parts of the region and virtually turned the entire region into a battlefield. “For the past 12 years, the North has struggled with disabling challenges that include dwindling economy, rising poverty and more worrying, a crippling security situation that has taken a huge toll on lives, property and the overall cohesion of the region. The Coalition noted that while the insurgency raged, other disturbances were created in the region in the form of cattle rustling that pitched northern communities against each other. “A new dimension was introduced to the farmers/herders conflict which gradually deteriorated into an uncontrollable proportion and deepened the artificial rift between communities in the region. “This trend suddenly metamorphosed into deadly armed banditry and kidnapping for ransom which is recycled for arms and drugs. This is in addition to another frustrating trend of the theft and forced trafficking in northern children to other parts of the country for reasons that are largely dubious. “The situation today, on most northern highways, innocent travelers are waylaid, robbed and abducted, towns and villages attacked and sacked by bandits who have created an atmosphere of palpable fear across the region. “As the situation grows more desperate by the day with the North as the most porous and vulnerable, with northerners as the most distressed and estranged. CNG maintained that it is absolutely impossible to expect that communities would continue to fold their arms while criminals invade their abodes, kill, abduct and displace them. “By this, today we unveil the symbols for the Shege Ka Fasa outfit which would be formally inaugurated in the coming few weeks when all necessary legal processes might have been completed or formally adopted and ratified by the northern states governors.” It stated. CNG, therefore, observed that, there is an apparent correlation between the current security situation and the unchecked proliferation of hard drugs and other dangerous substances and that the current security challenges in the region are therefore driven by the proliferation of firearms and hard drugs which are deliberately introduced into the region by outside interests. It also observed that the drug and firearms trade is fueled by illegal funds channeled by international financial criminals such as Yahoo boys desperate to launder money into the country and that already, this trend has completely undermined the economic and social fabrics of the North, and is responsible for the rampant social problems like banditry, armed robbery, kidnapping, and other forms of security challenges witnessed today. “That the current desperate situation in the North can be largely contained and eventually controlled by intensifying the task of anticipating and checkmating the manoeuvres of all criminal elements and blocking the supply channels for such dangerous merchandise as firearms and drugs. “That this task can only be successfully achieved with the active involvement of the members of all northern communities that are at the receiving end of the apparent security lapses. “That is the prevailing circumstances, the only option is to resort to voluntary self-defense mechanisms in line with initiatives taken by other regions that are even least affected in comparison to what obtains in the North”. CNG, therefore, resolved that “Against the backdrop of these concerns and observations, the Coalition of Northern Groups does not wish to remain silent or passive and allow things that affect the North and potentially cause greater instability in the country to continue unchecked. “Aware also of the need for concerted efforts to assist the Federal Government to restore peace and security and to disband all militias and armed groups in northern Nigeria to ensure that no group has the capacity to challenge the State in its prerogative to maintain law and order, and protect citizens’ lives and properties, the CNG has: “Initiated practical measures for the setting up of a northern regional security outfit to compliment the efforts of the police, the military, the security services to detect, expose and defeat all criminal machinations and carry out specific and general tasks that would realign the attitude and thinking of the public with the ideals and objectives of the founding fathers of the region. “In addition to performing general complementary tasks for enhancing security in the region, the outfit shall also Coordinate operations against the influx of hard drugs into the North, take steps to neutralize all centers of gravity for the supply, manufacturing, and distribution of such drugs and other dangerous substances”. The group further revealed that the outfit will Coordinate vigilance to check and expose illegal arms trade, supply channels and possession. Guard against the theft and illegal traffic in kids and other vulnerable sections of the northern population and expose operations of fraudsters like the Yahoo boys whose ill-gotten wealth forms part of the source of funding for the drug and arms trade. The group calls the attention of all governors of northern states to the urgent necessity to join their counterparts in the South-West and South-East by adopting and ratifying this initiative for northern regional security and providing the necessary legal framework for its operation in order to secure the lives of the people that are in constant threat. https://tribuneonlineng.com/just-in-north-forms-own-security-outfit-shege-ka-fasa/ |

https://alexis.lindaikejisblog.com/photos/shares/5e35715b1cd15.jpg Mr. Victor Oba said to be cousin of former first lady Patience Jonathan, has been arrested by the Bayelsa State Police Command over the attempted murder of his ex-lover, Seigha Atia. The suspect who is reportedly the manager of the former first lady’s hotel 'Aridolf Hotels and Spar', reportedly knocked down the lady with his Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), damaged her leg beyond treatment and left her for dead. Recounting how the incident occurred, Atia whose leg will reportedly be amputated said Oba attacked her after she called off their relationship. https://alexis.lindaikejisblog.com/photos/shares/5e3570d4136d4.jpg She told The Nation; “On the day of the incident, we had an argument and he called me and asked me to come outside of our gate to get the rest of my things in his car. He said he was driving to our area at Ox-Bow Lake to come and give me my things since I was no longer interested in the relationship. “He eventually showed up. He came down from his car, reached for the passenger seat, opened the door, brought out two bags and handed them over to me. I opened the bag and I figured out my things weren’t complete, and I told him some of my things were not there and that I would come and pick up the rest of my things. “At this point, he started screaming saying he would not want to see me close to his house. But I insisted I would come to take other things he did not bring to me. “At this point, he was already in his car. He started raining abuses on me, calling me unprintable names. I couldn’t take it. So, I responded. The next thing, he drove his car into me with speed. He hit me against our gate, held me there and did not reverse his car despite the fact that I was screaming in pains. “He later reversed and I fell to the ground and he zoomed off. My neighbours, who watched what happened screamed for help and came to my rescue. “This relationship lasted for four months. But I decided to quit when I discovered that he was a violent person. He had hit me once, that was when everything started to take a nosedive. “I can’t walk for now, probably I will never walk with this leg. They would have amputated this leg earlier today. But they referred me to a specialist hospital in Port Harcourt. They want to see whether something could still be done and it must be done very fast before it gets to my knees. “I’m devastated, but I’m fine, i will rise above it. I feel bad, I didn’t think someone could go this extreme”. Also commenting on the incident, the victim's sister Preye said they are still shocked that the former first lady's cousin could carry out such violent act. https://alexis.lindaikejisblog.com/photos/shares/5e3570ed4c9bb.jpg She said; “We are still shocked. We cannot believe this is happening at the same time I’m tired. I have not slept, am still exhausted. “I was in the house when I heard a bang on the gate. I felt it was just someone who normally hits the gate or something, then I heard voices, and I knew my sister went out and I saw her on the floor, blood on her leg, I just ran to her, I was screaming, I just picked her up and luckily she was conscious. “She told me Victor was responsible for what happened to her. The witnesses around there said he hit her and zoomed off. They had a misunderstanding; he insulted her then she responded, then he hit her, that was what eyewitnesses said. “I don’t have so much confidence in the Police because of who the guy is. They called us and tried to settle, but we cant accept such settlement because right now my sister is at the verge of having her leg amputated. “We want justice. This was an attempted murder, we want justice, we want things legally done the right way”. https://alexis.lindaikejisblog.com/photos/shares/5e3571044ae6d.jpg Bayelsa State Police Spokesperson, Asinim Buswat who confirmed the incident said the suspect was arrested for attempted murder and would be transfered to the Criminal Investigations Department of the Police Command. https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2020/2/patience-jonathans-cousin-arrested-for-attempted-murder-of-ex-lover.html |
