#OsunDecides: We Just Discovered 4,387 Votes Removed By INEC From Our Ballots – PDP


sun State governorship election was totally conclusive said People's Democratic Party, PDP chairman. The PDP on Monday night said shocking discovery had indicated no fewer than 4,387 votes were allegedly removed by the electoral body from the total ballots polled by the opposition party.

Addressing a press conference in Ede, the South West zonal secretary of the PDP, Reverend Bunmi Jenyo said thorough investigation has revealed that the PDP was allegedly shortchanged by INEC through the summation of votes in Olorunda and Osogbo local government councils by allotting more votes to the All Progressives Congress (APC) than what the party garnered during the poll.

According to Jenyo, details obtained from Form EC 8C showed that in Olorunda local government, the total votes polled by the APC was 14, 867, while INEC recorded 16,254 votes for the ruling party, indicating that 1,387 additional votes we’re allotted to the APC.

He further alleged that similar scenario played out in Osogbo local government, where the actual votes polled by the APC stood at 21, 479, adding that on contrary INEC recorded 23, 379 votes for the party.

Jenyo, however added that INEC recorded 14, 499 for the PDP instead of 14, 599, just as he said the total votes of the PDP was reduced by 1,000 in Ayedaade local government.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Friday evening announced the takeover of Skye Bank by Polaris Bank. However, the CBN has assured all Skye Bank's customer to not panic as all their money with the bank is still intact.

Below are the 10 basic things to know about the takeover and the way it affects you as a Skye Bank customer.


1. Skye bank’s operating licence has been withdrawn

The Central Bank of Nigeria has withdrawn the operation licence of the bank, effective Friday 21st September, 2018.

2. CBN, NDIC have established bridge bank – Polaris

The CBN, in consultation with the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), has established a bridge bank that will survive the bank known as Polaris.
NB: A bridge bank is a bank authorised to hold the asset and liabilities of another bank, specifically an insolvent bank.

3. Polaris takes over Skye Bank

Effective Monday, all asset and liabilities of Skye Bank have been taken over by the new bridge bank, Polaris.

4. What is the fate of Skye Bank?

On the 4th of July 2016, the CBN took a regulatory action on Skye Bank Nigeria PLC, leading to the resignation of the Chairman, all Non-Executive Directors on the Board as well as the Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director, and the two longest-serving Executive Directors on the Management Team.

5. Why ‘regulatory action’?

The focus of CBN’s regulatory action then was to save depositors’ funds and to ensure that the bank continued as a going concern, being a systemically important bank. Part of the apex bank’s intention was also to stem the imminent job losses to staff if a liquidation option had been adopted.

6. What happened afterwards?

Although CBN said the bank had improved after the ‘regulatory action’, the result of its forensic audit of the bank revealed that Skye Bank requires urgent recapitalisation as it can no longer continue to live on borrowed times with indefinite liquidity support from the CBN. The shareholders of the bank have been unable to recapitalise it.

7. What’s the new strategy about?

The strategy is for the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) to capitalise the bridge bank and begin the process of sourcing investors to buy out AMCON.

8. What happens to depositor’s money?

By the arrangement, the CBN said all depositors’ deposits shall remain safe and that normal banking services shall continue in the new bank on Monday, 24th September, 2018, to enable customers to transact their businesses seamlessly.

9. New bank, new name

By Monday, customers of Skye Bank shall be automatic customers of the new bank and their accounts and records duly purchased by Polaris Bank.

10. What about management and staff of Skye bank?

According to the CBN, given the good performance of the board and management, the CBN shall retain them. In addition, all employees of Skye Bank shall be absorbed by Polaris Bank under a new contract unless any employee decides to opt out.

After Pastor's Revelation On A Lady's Business Woes, Violence Erupts In The Church- See Video


This is not happening. Dirty fight erupted between two women in a South African Church after the pastor of the church gave a revelation to one of the women, whose best friend is the one behind her problems.

Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries International began to prophesy two friends who came to his church for prayers and the prophesy led to a fight when it was revealed that one was responsible for the other’s business woes.

One of the women is named Pamela and the other is Japa. During the prophecy, Pastor Lukau told Japa that her business partner who usually invests so much in her business has suddenly turned his back on her.

Japa agreed that this is true and the pastor went on to say that the business partner has also demanded that she returns the plane tickets he bought for her and has also taken back the money he gave to her. Japa also agreed that the pastor was right. The pastor then went on to tell her that the cause of her problems is someone very close to her.

At this point, congregants were looking shocked. The pastor then goes on to name the person behind her problems and it turned out to be Pamela. Pamela admitted to this and apologized repeatedly, saying she was jealous.

“Pamela Why?” the pastor kept repeating.

As Pamela tried to apologize to Japa, Japa lunged at her and began fighting her in church. Church members seemed surprised and amused by this as the fight went on. Both women were soon separated by church officials.

26yrs Old Nigerian, Silas Adekunle Becomes The World's Highest Paid Robotics Engineer.


26-year-old Nigerian, Silas Adekunle is now the highest paid in the field of Robotic Engineering. Adekunle, credited for building the world’s first gaming robot, achieved this feat after signing a new deal with the world’s reputable software manufacturers, Apple Inc, Leadership reports.


The robotics engineer was also named as “Someone to Watch in 2018” by the Black Hedge Fund Group, according to reports by thebossnewspapers.com. According to report, Adekunle is currently the founder and CEO of Reach Robotics, a company developing the world’s first gaming robots.


He also recently graduated with a 1st class degree and has four years’ background in robotics. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Adekunle studied in Nigeria before relocating to the UK as a teenager.


After completing his secondary school education, he proceeded to the University of the West of England where he graduated with a first class graduate in Robotics. In 2013, he founded Reach Robotics and developed a lot of experience on robotics within a space of four years.


Adekunle was also a team leader of Robotics In Schools programme, a programme which encourages and pays attention to students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The programme encouraged him to develop robotics to make education more entertaining for STEM students.


In 2017, MekaMon, he released the world’s first gaming robot, with the special ability to customise the gaming bot to perform personalised functions.

The initial launch of Mekamon sold 500 bots, generating $7.5 million, according to The Guardian. Following this feat, Adekunle received support from various organisations including London Venture Partners ($10 million) and in the same year, his company, Reach Robotics signed a deal with Apple securing exclusive sales in Apple stores.

Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has described the decision to uphold his five-match ban for pushing a referee in their Supercopa de Espana win against Barcelona as “incomprehensible”.

After being booked for removing his shirt in celebration after scoring, the Portugal captain was shown a second yellow after he nudged referee Ricardo de Burgos, who adjudged him to have dived in the penalty area.

He was handed a five-match ban as a result, a decision that was upheld by Spain’s Administrative Court of Sport on Tuesday. But Ronaldo, who is already reportedly upset about an ongoing tax evasion case regarding his image rights, hit out at the news via social media.

In his words:

“One more incomprehensible decision. From injustice to injustice, they will never overthrow me,” Ronaldo wrote in Portuguese on Instagram. “And as always I will come back stronger. Thank you to all who have supported me.”

Ronaldo missed the second leg against Barca at the Bernabeu and their 3-0 win at Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday. He will be also unavailable for Madrid’s upcoming LaLiga matches against Valencia, Levante and Real Sociedad as their title defense continues.

A husband and wife have landed in serious trouble after they were found with a phone belonging to a woman who was kidnapped and murdered in Imo state.

The husband found with the mobile phone of 45-year-old Mrs. Amaka Okere, who was kidnapped and murdered in Mbieri, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, said the phone was given to him by his wife.

According to Vanguard, the duo identified as Emeka Adibe his wife, Monica were paraded by the Imo State Police Command in Owerri, on Tuesday 26th June 2017. The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike, said:

“You will recall that on March 1, Mrs Amaka Okere, aged 45, of Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, was kidnapped and murdered.

“Investigations are in progress. Emeka Adibe and Monica Adibe were arrested on June 15 in Rivers State and the victim’s telephone handset recovered from them.” While confessing, Mrs Adibe said it was her twin sister’s husband who gave her the phone.

Monica said:

“I am a native of Arochukwu in Abia State; I am married with two kids. I went for a child dedication in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. “While preparing to return home, my sister’s husband gave me a phone. I did not know it was not his. When I returned home, my husband saw the phone, took it and started using it; the Police arrested him.

“I came to ask why he was arrested and the Police also arrested me.”

Her husband Mr. Emeka Adibe, said:

“I swear, I don’t know anything about the phone. It is my wife that brought it and the police saw it and arrested me. This phone has put me in trouble.”

Clearly, this couple maybe innocent of any crime and instead Nigeria Police will investigate and get to the root of the crime, they are parading the suspects already. This is just sending a message to the culprit to run away. These couple should have been kept secret until investigation is over.

What kind of policing is this abeg?

This is the reason why most federal judges hate police with passion. They will never do their work diligently, instead they will rush and parade suspects unnecessarily. And a good lawyer will just appear in court and bust their cases wide upon. That is why they loose a lot of case. Same thing with EFCC.
