I really cry for Igbos like the likes of this op that wrote the so called open letter to Nnamdi Kanu.
Is she saying she prefer slavery that being free? Is She a She or a He? Let me address her as a she cuz she just reasons like one.

How else do you encourage your people than to tell them everyone who has a hand in the killing of Ndi Biafra must surely pay the prize. What else does she want him to say? To start crying on his broadcast?

Moreover one of the first things Nnamdi did in the broadcast of yesterday was to honour the memory of those who died by praying for their souls and observing a minute silence. But apparently people like you and the Twitter is far more concerned if Nnamdi Kanu mentioned their names?

And to show the shallow mentality of the writter, she even question why the government went out to kill unarmed innocent people. The people who died did not die because they followed Kanu, they were killed by a government that has no regard for human life. Yes this is a fight and there must be casualty of war and the only way to avenge that is to make the people involved pay for it.

Sometimes I wonder why a huge company like Microsoft will mess up their product so bad that more than 90% of their customers are complaining bitterly. Right now, Microsoft Windows 10 operating system (OS) which is being forced on every PC's is a nightmare to people.

I've had rumors that Windows OS was found in Xeros's dumpster and I didn't believe it, but now, I'm inclined to believe these rumors. Else, why would a company like Microsoft design a crappy OS like Windows 10 and dump it on their customers? On every forum you head to online, every goddam person is complaining on one thing or the other.

First, Windows 10 was designed to automatically update itself once you are connected to the internet, given the user no options to either stop or continue the update which was present in other Windows versions before Windows 10. Secondly, foolish apps running in the background and causing the systems to lag.

No one wants a system that will delay workflow while its on an errand (sent from Microsoft).

There isn't enough space here to keep sharing the experiences I and many have had with this crappy OS called Windows 10 and I hesitate to say this, Windows 10 sucks so bad that I want to throw-up. I miss Windows 7 and even WindowsMe. Microsoft took away the simplicity Windows 7 had and added this annoying app driven constantly running in the background feature.

Those nonsense and foolish apps are constantly connecting to servers throughout the web, not to mention Microsoft's own embedded spy on the user settings which Anti-virus software see as spyware.

To be perfectly honest, if you remove Windows 10 and install Windows 7 on today's Solid State hard drive driven PCs, it moves much faster than Windows 10. Worst innovation is the so called Cortana which is a total trash and always conflicting with the regular explorer search.

One can't even install Windows 10 without running into one trouble or the other. Is either the Start Menu is not working, Edge and Media is not working, Taskbar is looked and not opening etc and the complain goes on and on and on without ending.. You can checkout forums and see more and more complains without any genuine fix.

What will I say and what will I leave unsaid? Even something as simple as setting your default browser take you to another screen where you have to setup your defaults using a window's app. This was done with one click in Windows 7. The computer hardware is faster today, but Microsoft screwed that up with Windows 10. Users are forced to install Windows 10 on their old systems, unaware that this OS needs a very fast processor and graphics card to operate correctly, which leads to crashes and BSOD.

To compare Windows 10 to Windows 7 is equivalent to asking someone to go around a block just to cross the street when they use to just walk right across. Too many more negatives to post but have got to stop here. But Bill Gate and Belmar need to know that my next stop is MAC.

Common Microsoft, how do you take a perfectly working OS like Windows 10 (when it was first introduced) and screw it up so bad that you can't even do one thing without running to internet to browse one problem or the other. This is outrageous. Its not like Windows 10 was broken before.

APC Impose Another Anointed Candidate And Deny Actress, Funke Adesiyan Who Won The Ticket In Oyo State


What is happening in Nigeria, especially to APC? What is this system of imposition of "anointed candidate"? I thought we are still in democratic rule in Nigeria? Was former President, GEJ right about APC when he said and I quote "the choice before you is freedom and slavery, chose wisely"? The APC have turned out to be exactly what Goodluck Jonathan saw before he made the above statement during 2015 elections.

The ruling All Progressing Party, APC is turning out to something that resembles the royal or autocratic system of government. This is happening in their party and many people will feel: well is not in the real system, so they can do whatever they want in their party. But we forget that this is violation of the laws of Nigeria which established the party in the first place.

It seems that the primary election, which was set out by law as to how any party in Nigeria should select the candidate to represent then is not being adhered to in APC anymore. What is concurrent to the party right now is the imposition of candidates against the will of the people. We have seen this manifest in Daura, Taraba, Imo and the latest, in Oyo State.

Daura residents protested few day ago of how Buhari's nephew was imposed on them against their will, Imo State followed suit and Aisha aka Mama Taraba was denied the opportunity to contest for Governorship election in her state for no reason which prompted her to resign her appointment as a minister and subsequently dump APC party.

The scariest part of this trend is that almost all the candidates who have their mandate taken away from them by force can't even muster the zeal to challenge the party and take them to court. I say again, what is happening? It seems Ahmed Tinubu does not only want to become the political God of Nigeria but he wants to be the king of Nigeria who anoints and impose any candidate he want regardless of what people want. This is bad bad bad business for Nigeria who has come along way on democracy.

We have seen this happen in Lagos in the case of Ambode, an incumbent governor i might add, we have seen the outright rigging of Ekiti State and Osun State election and the Shehu Sani saga, and the actress saga in Oyo State.

The Nollywood actresss, after duly buying nomination form and contesting for Ibadan South East ticket for House of Assembly, also duly declared winner by the APC had her mandate forcefully taken away from her and given to the so called anointed candidate and it baffles me that he can't go to court to retrieve the mandate back.

Take a look at that statement she releaseed regarding the incident.

“We have come to the end of a long journey. A very rigorous and eventful one. The people of Ibadan South East 2 have spoken. They spoke loudly and clearly. The journey of the last one year has been halted, and I thank you all for standing by me. For believing in my vision and for throwing your weight behind me in critical moments. I will never take this significant support for granted. The primary election has come and gone and I have been made to believe and accept the outcome in good fate.

“While I am not quite happy that my hard-earned mandate was taken from me, as this stands against the principle with which I stand for, I can’t go against the wish of our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC). I can’t understand why people, who bought forms sold at exorbitant prices, went for primaries and emerged winners only to be told that their names had been swapped for other anointed candidates. One may be tempted to ask why we had primaries in the first place if the party’s hidden agenda was to impose candidates?

“This is one old injustice that has continued to dwarf the progress and entrenchment of internal democracy, one that has denied many people the full blessings of fulfilling their ambition politically. There is no better evidence of this than the brazen act of injustice that forced me to surrender my mandate. I urge all my supporters not to be wary as this is a phase that will soon pass. Today, I hold in my heart nothing but love for my people as I call on you all to not despair of our present difficulties but to believe, always, in the promise and greatness of our party (APC), Oyo State and Nigeria because nothing is inevitable here.”

“I implore you all to go all out and vote for the APC in the 2019 general election and ensure that we record a resounding victory. Thank you and God bless Oyo state.

I ask again, why are this people not seeking for court injunction and face on this ungodly matters. What blackmail are APC using on their candidates? This is indeed bad for Nigeria.

Poor Dumb Aisha - I Warned You About APC But You Insulted Me - FFK Mocks Mama Taraba

Following the fall-out of All Progressive Congress, APC and Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan aka Mama Taraba, which led to her resignation as a minister and subsequently dumping the APC party, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has reminded her in a mocking statement about his warning about APC.

Mama Taraba as she is fondly called tried to contest for governorship position in Taraba State on the platform of APC but after tendering herself for screening, APC rejected her for the position with no genuine reason whatsoever given to her. She have however dumped the party and resign as a serving minister.

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani Kayode wasn't going to let the sleeping dog lie in peace, not after Aisha Alhassan has been the one tackling him any time he pocks the APC and their "so called evil agenda". FFK mocked mama Taraba and reminded her of his warnings.

In a tweet, FFK wrote;

Few months ago I advised Aisha Alhassan that she should leave Buhari and APC before they humiliate her, push her out and insult her. She responded by insulting me. Now they have humiliated her, pushed her out and called her a "hypocrite that was working for PDP". Poor, dumb Aisha!

India's Supreme Court has ruled that adultery is no longer a crime, declaring the colonial-era law that punished the offence unconstitutional and discriminatory.

According to Al Jazeera, the court ruled unanimously on Thursday that Section 497, a 158-year-old law, "perpetuates the subordinate status of women, denies dignity and sexual autonomy, and is based on gender stereotypes".

The law criminalised consensual sexual relations between a man and a married woman without the consent of her husband. Under the law, a man convicted could have faced up to five years in prison and women could neither file a complaint nor be held liable for adultery.

Section 497 has been criticised by rights groups for depriving women of dignity and individual choice, and treating them as the property of men.

"Adultery can be grounds for civil issues including dissolution of marriage but it cannot be a criminal offence. Adultery might not be the cause of an unhappy marriage, it could be the result of an unhappy marriage," said Chief Justice Misra while reading out the verdict.

The judges deemed the law unconstitutional after Indian businessman Joseph Shine filed a petition last year challenging Section 497.

The Indian government had opposed the decriminalisation of adultery, stating in court earlier that this would erode "the sanctity of marriage and the fabric of society at large".

But women's rights campaigners welcomed the ruling on Thursday.

"Scrapping it was long overdue and is very welcome," Kavita Krishnan, secretary of the All India Progressive Women's Association, told Al Jazeera.

"Our political class should have decriminalised adultery and homosexuality a long time ago, instead of leaving it to the courts."

Despite a string of recent liberal-progressive rulings from India's Supreme Court, including thedecriminalisation of gay sex, India's conservative and patriarchal attitudes are deeply entrenched.

"This is precisely why political parties and governments pass the buck to courts," said Krishnan.

India is still struggling to balance its deep-rooted traditions with rapid modernisation.

"Our society is not ready for this, we do not have to blindly follow western norms," said Ajay Gautam, founder of a right-wing group called Hum Hindu (We are Hindus).

"Public morality and the social fabric will collapse if extra-marital relations are allowed. We will help the government in drafting a counter to this that can be issued as an executive order to criminalise these immoral acts again."

Women's rights campaigners said they hoped the ruling would also encourage national debate in India about other issues, including the criminalisation of marital rape which is not a crime in India.

If not for my openmindedness, I would have said this counsellor should be brought to the market place and flogged mercilessly. But who am I to say that. Controversial Ghanaian marriage counsellor and reverend minister, Counsellor George Lutterodt has dropped another bombshell with respect to marriage issues.

According to him, cheating behind your married partner should not be seen as a sin because it’s not. The renowned counsellor made this statement on the Thursday, September 20, 2018 edition of Adom TV’s popular morning show 'Badwam.'

He advised all married men not to blame their wives when they allow other men to sleep with them but they should rather use that as an opportunity to work extremely hard on their love making.

In his words;

“Cheating is not a sin. If you are a man and your wife cheats or you catch your wife red-handed, just thank God because it is an opportunity to learn because your wife comes home with new bed skills.”

He added that being able to “open fire” to your partner’s satisfaction is very important in marriage hence couples should take that component in marriage very seriously.

Asked how he would react when he comes to see another man “chopping down” his wife, Counsellor Luettrodt said,

“If I catch my wife in bed with another man, I will just stand there and watch it the more and learn so that if she comes, she can also teach me more,” he answered.

Counsellor George Luttrodt is well known for his controversial statements. Just recently he made a statement advising men who impregnate other women outside their marriages to keep the results of their adultery a secret.

According to him, a child out of wedlock is only a man's business.
