Man Lays Curse On Girlfriend Who Dumped Him to Marry Another Man - I Trained Her In University For 5yrs

It is very sad to hear this kind of stories that touches the heart. Quiet frankly, I don't know why a man will opt to train a girl in University without marrying her first. Even in marriage, women still tend to leave their husband after graduating.

I'm not in anyway saying or insinuating that all ladies are the same but more than 90% of them will sure break the living hell out of your heart, and in the words of American Art, Chris Brown, "this girls aint loyal" period.

Sen. Dino Melaye Raises Alarm Over Plot By Kogi State Gov. To Pull Down His Houses

Must political powers in Nigeria be used against the same people? Why must we elect radical and cynical individuals into our political seats in this country? Though the tussle is between Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and Senator Representing Kogi South Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye (the big wings) but one can not ignore the fact that this is man's inhumanity to man.

We have also seen how High Institutions in Kogi has become a mockery and how civil servants are being owed huge amount of money, leading to someone them committing suicide at will but someone in his senses cannot let this kind of things slid.

Sen. Dino in a post on Twitter revealed plot concocted by the Kogi State Government, under the leadership of Yahaya Bello to demolish his houses in Kogi State. I ask again, must political powers be used settle scores?

SARS Arrests Man Who Stole Another Man's Penis With A Handshake In Rivers State - Photos/Video

It was quite a scene at Emenike Junction, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State after a suspected ritualist reportedly stole a man’s penis with a handshake. According to reports, the man reportedly returned the penis, after SARS officers who patrolled around the area intervened.

An eyewitness shared this info on Facebook @ Young Micheal;

Organizers say the impetus was a recent poll that found that the thought of dining with somebody who’s HIV-positive still paralyzes them with fear. The survey by Casey House, Canada’s only hospital dedicated to people living with HIV/AIDS, found that nearly half of Canadians wouldn’t eat a meal prepared by someone with the disease.

Even though health experts say the infection can’t be transmitted that way. To combat the stigma around food prep, Casey House decided it was time to pull a bold stunt. The pop-up, called June’s Eatery after Casey House’s co-founder June Callwood, launched this week. It advertised two four-course dinners made by 14 HIV-positive chefs for $125 — one yesterday, the other today. Both of them sold out.

Organizers told The Guardian that they even welcome “negative coverage,” though, as the “entire point of the pop-up” is “exposing the ignorance and blame around HIV and AIDS.” They did their best to test people, too — organizers say they mailed jars of soup prepared by the HIV-positive team to newsrooms “across Canada.” It seems they didn’t really care what became of that soup in a box, as long as it challenged.

Using the handbrake when the car fails brake is very very dangerous because handbrake is designed to brake the car system instantly immediately its engaged. Note that handbrake is designed to be engaged when the car is on potential energy (energy at rest) not while in motion.

The best thing to do is to make sure you try as much as possible to bring your car to the minimal motion before you can now engage the handbrake since it is emergency but never ever engage the handbrake if your normal brake fails when on high speed, else your car will tumble immediately.

A popular sports coach and fitness trainer in Cross River State, Paul Banigo slumped and died in UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar on Saturday November 4th.

Below is the account by Rt. Hon. Orok Otu Duke, CRS Sports Commission...

"He jogged into the UJ Esuene Stadium in the morning to keep a rendezvous with the members of the public and sundry state Athletes, who had adopted him as their personal coach and Aerobics Instructor. However, today's rendezvous turned out to be with death.

As coach Paul Banigo was putting together his exercise tools, he slumped and cried for help, but none was rendered. All those present, initially ran to different compass directions, for sundry reasons. Paul Banigo died.

The Stadium Clinic is not functional and I am working with the Hon Commissioner for Health to remedy this anomaly.

Today's tragedy caught us by surprise and came to us at a time that we are financially unstable. Since no hospital would accept Coach Banigo's Corpse without the requisite financial commitment, we were left in a quandary. But initial help came our way through ex Gov Donald Duke and his wife Onari... (God bless Their Benevolent Souls). Mrs Duke reached out to the Navy Hospital, Calabar and they agreed to receive the body for "autopsy and embalmment".

We have visited the hospital for the third time this night, the Corpse is in good hands and His Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade has been briefed accordingly and the needful will be done.

As a staff of the CRS, Paul had taken up the extra responsibility of taking up those who had recently been dislocated from using the House of Assembly hill for exercise purposes, due to recent security concerns. On the fateful Saturday morning, Paul died on duty, on official duty. But when he fell, initial help could not be rendered. Not even a CPR? So sad.

The 8 years relegation of the Sports Commission created the rot... No Ambulances, offices, buses,facilities etc. The process of rebuilding the infrastructure and repositioning sports is on and it is "work in progress".

The CRS Governor will fund and staff the UJ Esuene Stadium Clinic, we are committed to work with the Commissioner for Health, SA Budget and the CRSHA to achieve this with the 2018 Budget.
No avoidable tragedy should befall us again in CRS Sports family. Never Again.

Lady Manhandled By Policeman After Her hubby's "Sidechic" Got Her Arrested For Slapping Her

A 29-year-old lady identified as Sarah Darko has been brutalized over her refusal to enter a police cell in Ghana. According to reports, Darko was lashed by one ASP Emmanuel Osei, the officer in charge of the Dompim police station.

Darko had been arrested in the Tarkwa Nsueam Municipality of the Western Region, and sent to the station for allegedly slapping another woman in a marital dispute. According to her, the police officer first hit her with a plastic object and later with a stick, when she refused to enter the station’s cell.

Narrating her ordeal to Citi News, Sarah explained that “In August this year, I returned from my two months trip to my room to meet my husband and another woman. Out of anger and frustration, I slapped the woman and she in return hit me with a phone.

The matter was taken to an elder in the town where it was amicably settled. But when we all thought the matter has been put to rest, two months later, with me staying peacefully with my husband, the lady returned this Wednesday 1st November to my house with three police officers.

They told me I was under arrest. I joined them to the Dompim Police station. After informing me that it was upon my rival’s instruction I was brought there, they asked me to go into the cell which I refused.

Inspector Emmanuel Osei started forcing me into the cell but again I told him the matter has been settled already so I will not go in there. So I held the counter table when the inspector was forcing me into the cells. He started hitting my hand with a plastic ruler.

Then he went for a stick and started whipping me hard on my buttocks and in my palms until he finally forced me into the cell”. Darko went through the ordeal in the presence of his husband, one Francis Tofega, who had also gone to the police station over the same matter.

After several pleas from her husband, she was released on bail. Darko, feeling dissatisfied, has taken the matter to the Nsueam Police station.

Why Use Your Handbrake When The Gear Is On Park? - See 6 Important Reasons - Exlink Autos

This is a million dollar question and many people wonders why use the handbrake when you put your car in P - Park for automatic vehicles. Well, first of all, if its not important, the manufacturers wouldn't deem it fit to leave it there.

I decided to write this post because of whats someone posted on Nairaland this morning;

For Automatic cars, it's impossible for the car to roll when the gear is on Park(P), still i observe some people engage their handbrake while the car is on P.

As for me, the only time i use my handbrake for Automatic cars is while I'm on traffic and i want to relax my foot, i prefer to use the Neutral(N) gear (because it's more closer to D for a quick start) when I'm on a hilly road to prevent the car from rolling.

What you need to know about the handbrakes

The handbrake is an essential component of your vehicle's safety system and it should be used on a regular basis - not just when the car is parked on a hill. While a handbrake is usually recognized as essential in a manual transmission vehicle, it should be considered just as important in an automatic transmission vehicle as well.

When a car with an automatic transmission is put into park, a device inside the transmission called a "parking pawl" engages. A parking pawl is a metal pin that engages into a notch ring that is attached to the transmission's output shaft. When engaged, the pawl restricts the transmission's output shaft from turning.

Unfortunately, parking pawls can break or possibly become dislodged. While this is not a common occurrence it can happen, and if it does your car may end up rolling down the street. A handbrake on the other hand will hold the vehicle in place even if the parking pawl breaks or dislodges. The handbrake is a manual system that puts a stronger hold on the vehicle than simply putting it into park.

When it comes to manual transmissions, the handbrake is essential. Leaving a manual transmission in gear does not lock the vehicle in place, it simply makes it harder to move, but it can still roll away. The handbrake should be engaged every single time a manual transmission vehicle is parked as well as automatic system.

How handbrakes work

The handbrake is a completely mechanical system that bypasses the hydraulic braking system to stop the car in an emergency or keep it in place when parked. Steel cables are attached to the parking brake lever and when the lever is pulled the cables tighten, pulling another lever that compresses the brake shoes (on drum brakes) to stop the vehicle or hold it in place.

On a disk brake system, when the handbrake lever is pulled, it engages a corkscrew device, which pushes a piston into the brake pads stopping the vehicle. Handbrakes are also outfitted with a self locking mechanism so the parking brake will not release until the lever or in some cases the parking brake pedal is released.

Below is the major reasons why its important to engage your handbrake even when the gear lever is on P - Park positive.

1. Handbrake is more useful than u think. Have u ever wondered why it is difficult to engage your gear while u are parked on a slope? Ha ha u think it's normal and harmless for u to be engaging your gear with force and a loud bang? That is because the transmission is resting on the slope, it can wear your transmission faster.

The right way to park is first engage your handbrake while your foot is on the foot brake. Then put your car in park. That way the handbrake stops the car from rolling and the transmission will be free. So that when u want to get your car out of park it will be so easy without that loud bang.Thus this reduces the stress on the gearbox (or something similar).

FYI - The rule is - (handbrake, then shift into park).

2. Also useful when u parallel park on a very steel slope, let's say a car is parked closely behind u. When u want to move forward, on engaging drive, u would want to take your foot off the brake to accelerate, your car might back up before going forward due to the steep slope thereby hitting the car behind u. But with handbrake engaged that can be avoided. Just floor the throttle before releasing hand brake.

3. If the car is hit while parked the handbrake will provide stability to the vehicle, and in most cases will prevent it from rolling away.

4. It is best to engage the parking brake while the brake pedal is being depressed, before shifting into park this will reduce the strain on the parking pawl.

5. If the parking brake isn't used regularly, the cables, which are located under the car can corrode and get stuck in place. This can become a big problem, as you may not be able to use the brake or the cable will snap when you try to engage it.

6. Most importantly, do not forget to disengage the parking brake before driving, as it can damage the entire braking system
