The wife of Nigeria's No 2 (Senate President) Mrs Toyin Saraki on Wednesday came to the aid of a woman who delivered triplets through Caesarean section at the Maitama General Hospital, FCT Abuja - Nigeria.

Before Mrs Olivia Plangnaan Sunday went in for the surgery, Mrs Saraki, the Founder and President of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa, upon receiving a distress call, had paid an urgent visit to the then expectant mother, who had been a student of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa’s MamaCare Antenatal and Postnatal Education Classes Program, which caters for expectant mothers from the antenatal stage through to the postnatal stage.

Mrs Saraki, made a donation to cover the hospital costs for the mother's surgery and special care of the newborns.

Wellbeing Foundation Africa Mamacare Midwife Trainer Rita Momoh and MamaCare Lactation Counselors, again, visited the mother of the triplets to support the upkeep and postnatal wellbeing of the mother and newborn triplets.

I may be a novice in Nigeria law, but i believe in any democratic set up, there is always a clause to vote a president out if he is not performing via the senate and the law makers.

Many can still argue that PDP is a relevant party in Nigeria political sphere but the truth is, PDP is dead. The self-acclaimed Chairman of the mega party, National Unity Party, NUP, Perry Opara, has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, died the day former President, Olusegun Obasanjo personally supervised the tearing of his membership card of the party.

Opara made the remark yesterday while disagreeing with the immediate past President, Goodluck Jonathan’s recent claim that PDP remains the biggest and strongest party in Nigeria. He noted that the incorrigible nature of Jonathan led to the loss of the former ruling party in the 2015 Presidential election.

The mega party Chairman observed that any attempt by the former President to revive the party would further divide it because his intervention was coming too late. “I totally disagree with former President, Jonathan. In the first place, he caused PDP’s defeat in 2015. He should not have contested in 2015. He should have allowed Dr. Tafawa Balewa and others to compete with him in the 2015 PDP presidential primary. Jonathan is a good man but not a courageous leader. Courageous leaders strengthen institutions to make them strong. Weak leaders don’t make institutions strong.

“PDP is gone and gone forever. PDP died the day Obasanjo tore his membership card. Jonathan woke up from his political slumber very late in the day. When he lost election in April 2015, leaders of PDP went to him severally to reorganise the party but he could not do that until he left office. Even after leaving office he could not do anything for PDP; he ran away.

“Two years after, he has realised his mistakes to reorganise PDP when things have gone bad. No way! It is late. His entry into PDP now will create the 3rd faction in the party. He should step back and enjoy his retirement. The soul of PDP has left and will never come back,” he told leadership.

Alleging that Jonathan campaigned with money and left substance behind, Opara stressed that the former President was not in charge of his Jonathan, 2015 Presidential campaign. “You don’t change a winning team. His structures in the party were dismantled before the 2015 reelection bid. Yet, he couldn’t do anything.

“He was not in charge. Instead of campaigning on issues, they campaigned with money and left the substance. He resorted to campaign of calumny against Buhari. How do you convince Nigerians that such a corrupt group should come back in 2019. Never; forget it,” he added.

Legendary Arsenal FC manager, Arsene Wenger has admitted that his time in charge of the Premier League club, “is coming to an end”. This was revealed by Gunners’ former striker, Ian Wright, who played under Wenger when he arrived in England over 20 years ago.

Speaking to BBC 5 Live, Wright claimed he met with the Frenchman on Thursday night and he told him his time at the Emirates is “coming to the end”. “I was with the boss last night and if I’m going to be totally honest I think that’s it,” Wright said.

The 67-year-old’s future has been the subject of intense speculation, with his current contract running out at the end of this season. Arsene Wenger have managed Arsenal FC for over 21 years. Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri, has emerged as the top favourite to replace Wenger.

Speaking after their 2-0 win over Crotone on Wednesday Allegri insisted that the rumours were all paper talk. “I won’t deny or confirm anything,” he told Mediaset Premium. “I am in sync with the club, now we have to focus on winning.

“At this time of the season the media always says I’m leaving, even when things are going really well.”

Nigerians are still fuming regarding the cancellation the proposed Nationwide protest by Tuface. Comedian AY have jumped to the defense of Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2Baba for cancelling the proposed Nationwide Protest. AY urge Nigeria to leave him alone because one man cannot make things right in Nigeria. He said he did great speaking out at least and that no one should judge him badly.

Considering how furious Nigerians are about this cancelled protest, i can really see that the common man was really looking forward to making his voice heard via this proposed protest and they are not taking it lightly with anybody who tries to support or see reasons with the cancellation of the protest.

Earlier, Basketmouth have taken a lot of clap backs from people as he also also came to 2Baba's defense regarding the cancellation of the proposed protest.

Having said all of that for those of you who are wise enough to get the message, i want you to join me in celebrating a man whom has always been an advocate of peaceful governance, a man who was never consumed by the sin of silence and became a coward, a patriot who was bold enough to ask for the change we were promised, whether you like it or not, our voices has been heard by those in authority. lets all remain as one big family with a collective sense of respect, kindness and an intention to conduct a peaceful resolution.

Top Nigeria comedian, Basketmouth have jumped in defense of his follow entertainer 2Baba for the cancellation of the proposed Nationwide Protest which was scheduled to take place on the 6th of February 2017. Basketmouth said people should appreciate him (2Baba) for even voicing out that he wants to lead a protest rather than criticize him.

He said he (2Baba) is till better than millions of Nigerians who only complain of Nigeria situation on blogs and social media.

In Basketmouth's words:

basketmouth Before Tuface stepped out to air his views and speak for most Nigerians if not all, most people got so comfortable complaining about the state of Nigeria on blogs, their homes etc. Nobody made a move to do anything about anything. A Kenyan gospel artiste, Eunice Njeri, dropped a food for thought or rather a bombshell on her fans yesterday when she announced her marriage to husband, rapper Isaac Bukasa, ended hours after the wedding.

The gospel singer Njeri and rapper Isaac Bukasa aka Izzo got married on the 27th of November, 2016 in the United States and photos of the ceremony were shared online by their family and friends. The couple dated for two years before walking down the aisle and announced their engagement on September 19 via Instagram. They later had a pre-wedding in the US where Izzo’s family lives before their grand wedding on the 27th of November, still in the US.

However, according to the gospel songstress, at the end of the wedding day, she realized her heart was somewhere else and so never signed her wedding papers. She broke the news on her social media accounts, yesterday Wednesday, February 1, 2017, two months after she walked out of the marriage saying: (see below post)

Her husband, Isaac Bukasa, hasn’t officially reacted to the announcement yet but a week after their wedding in November, he had sent his estranged wife a lovely message on Instagram showing his love for the singer.

Njeri on the other hand has deleted all posts about him on her Instagram page. Izzo still has several posts about her on his page.

One thing Nigerians don't play with is the game of politics and activism. Once you toys with this things with Nigerians, they will hate you for life no matter who you are previously. Though Nigerians tend to have a short memory once you dazzle money in front of them. No disrespect meant.

Nigerians en masse have come after 2face for canceling the proposed nationwide protest slated on the 6th of February, 2017. To me as a blogger, he has dashed his reputation and to all Nigerians, 2Baba is now "evil" in front of them. Many have slammed the music idol on social media and the abuses keeps coming in.

Apparently, 2Baba still prefers suffering and smiling anyway.
