Martha Binabo was kidnapped at about 11:30am on Monday, June 29, 2015, in Agbura community, a town on the outskirts of Yenagoa, the state capital, Vanguard reports.

She was reportedly taken by five armed men wearing military camouflage outside the premises of her company. It’s not yet known if the abductors have contacted her family to make a ransom demand.

Ubale was sacked from Aso Rock for asking Chadian President Idris Deby about the whereabouts of Boko Haram leader Shekau but the question didn’t go well with GEJ.

He was sent packing as the former President ordered the withdrawal of his press card. The Ondo State government yesterday warned People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) against the spread of the disease, vowing that anybody caught would be jailed.

The government said the decision was in line with the HIV’AIDS Anti-stigma law, which prescribed a 10-year jail term, fine of N500, 000 or both for any person who by whatever means transmits HIV/AIDS to another person.

Explaining details of the law, which was signed last year, the Secretary to the State Government and Chairman, State Agency for the Control of AIDS (OSACA), Dr. Aderotimi Adelola, said the stigmatisation and discrimination discouraged individuals infected with the HIV virus.

Aww, this 13 feet giant Python killed itself by swallowing more than it could chew. The rock Python was found dead at the side of the road at Lake Eland Game Reserve, near Port Shepstone, South Africa. When its stomach was opened, a two stone porcupine was found inside it.

The Lagos state chapter of APC has reacted to the call by PDP members in the state asking the incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode to probe the administration of former governor, Babatunde Fashola. APC reacted in a statement released by the Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Joe Igbokwe today June 24th. The statement in part reads

“Lagos PDP has lost it and is in a journey of self derision and ridicule. APC is not surprised that Lagos PDP continues to demonstrate traits that show it as a jesting group that has no meaningful thing to contribute to the growth and progress of Lagos.
We would have thought that Lagos PDP would, for once, be moved by moral imperatives to demand that President Muhammadu Buhari probe and punish the perpetrators of what is becoming the most horrifying economic crime done to Nigeria by the PDP mandarins especially in the past 16 years.

They are not, rather they are asking Governor Ambode to ‘probe’ the poster regime for productive and accountable governance in this republic. What a party? We want to let the lost and confused parodists in Lagos PDP know that Governor Ambode has hit the ground running just because he has a rich template of productive governance to continue with,” the party said.

Reports reveal that Google co-founder Sergey Brin and 23andMe founder Anne Wojcicki have gotten divorced after eight years of marriage. They married in 2007 and have two children together.

The divorce was quietly approved in May by a court in Santa Clara County.

Sources say that both Wojcicki and Brin have gone on to date other people since their separation, but they live close by each other in Los Altos and continue to raise their children as a team, the source said. Brin is currently dating Nicole Shanahan, the founder of patent technology company ClearAccessIP and the pair attended a Jamaica wedding together in June.

Wojcicki and Brin had a prenuptial agreement in place, so their divorce shouldn't impact Google very much. The pair reached a settlement for an undisclosed amount of money. Brin is worth an estimated $30 billion. A spokesman for Brin declined to comment, as did a spokesman for Wojcicki.

Wojcicki, who is also a successful tech executive, has raised more than $110 million for her human genome startup, 23andMe. My goodness! When will these men be stopped? Yesterday, ISIS militants released a video showing how they murdered 5 prisoners accused of being spies in the ISIS stronghold of Mosul. They actually put a camera inside the pool to show how the terrified men struggled to breath until they drowned.

ISIS also showed how they killed another group of 'spies'. They chained the prisoners together with explosive necklaces which are then detonated (left)...some of them are decapitated. Some Nigerians congregating under the umbrella of Endangered Non Indigenes Forum in Rivers State, EINFRS, have urged President Muhammadu Buhari to come to their rescue following moves by Governor Nyesom Wike to crack down on them as part of his plot to deal ruthlessly with associates and loyalties of his predecessor: Hon. Chibuike Amaechi.

Their fear was heightened by feelers that the eight-man Committee institued by Wike to compile the names of non-indigenes in the State Civil Service and business outfits belonging to non-indigenes has secretly submitted its report.

The report advocates for the crackdown to be in phases and to start with the sack of non-indigenous civil servants starting from third week of July 2015.

The EINFRS has consequently petitioned President Buhari, pleading that he should come to their aid before the Governor endangers their lives just because they, in keeping with their pact with Amaechi, actively supported his (Buhari’s) candidature.

The petition signed by the Forum’s Secretary General, Dr Ndubuisi Nwakadibia reads in part, “Mr. President, you have through your sagacity and revolutionary leadership since your inauguration as the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces brought peace, tranquility and integration to all Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic and tribal backgrounds.

“It is sad that unlike other States enjoying peace and democracy Chief Nyesom Wike, the Governor of River State, has made it a policy to torment our people for supporting your candidature instead of that of Dr Jonathan Goodluck, the former President, during the March 28th Presidential election since his inauguration as the Governor of Rivers State.

“He has embarked upon on an ignoble decimation of APC structures, retrenchment, sack, intimidation, harassment and victimisation of non-indigenes, particularly APC members and supporters resident in Rivers State.

“Your Excellency, Sir, we are by this petition appealing to you to use your good offices and effervescent nature to call Chief Wike to order, and SAVE US from this unwarranted, unprecedented and provocative onslaught against us for failing to identify with his evil agenda against us and the people of Rivers State.

“As we told you during our Town Hall Meeting with you at Obi Wali’s International Conference Centre, Port Harcourt in March, 2015, we have no other State to go to apart from Rivers State as most of us were born in Rivers State and for Chief Wike to continue to intimidate us in a State we have contributed much to build is not our ideal of democracy.”

The non-indigenes further called on President Buhari to remember and adequately appreciate Amaechi’s contributions to his victory, stressing that,“We wish to appeal to remember all the risks that Rt. Hon.
