Russia carried out a successful test of its Satan 2 nuclear missile on Thursday night, the country's defense ministry said.
The rocket, also known as RS-28 Sarmat, was fired from the Plestek Cosmodrome and travelled 3,600 miles before hitting a target on the Kura test range.

Toddler twins joined at the head have been successfully separated today following an 11-hour operation by a team of 30 doctors, 20 nurses and many other paramedical staff.



Medics from around the world came together in New Delhi, India, for the risky surgery on Jaga and Kalia, who amazed the health profession by surviving to the age of two-and-a-half.


The twins were born in a village in the eastern state of Odisha with shared blood vessels and some shared brain tissue.


They had undergone the first phase of the separation surgery in August.


"The most challenging job after the separation was to provide a skin cover on both sides of the brain for the children as the surgery had left large holes on their heads," said Maneesh Singhal, a plastic surgeon who was a part of the operating team.


"The skin was generated from the expansion of two balloons which were placed inside their heads during the first surgery in August,"

The huge operation, their second had to be brought forward after Jaga's health deteriorated in recent months.

The boys who were originally named Honey and Singh have survived against the odds as twins fused at the cranium have an 80 per cent risk of dying by the age of two if they are not separated.


Odisha health minister Pratap Jena said: 'Their health is stable, but they will be kept under observation for 72 hours.

Plastic surgeons are on their job after they were separated surgically.'

A man has revealed he finally feels 'free' after having life-changing surgery to reduce his 11lb testicles and three-foot penis that left him unable to walk,wear clothes or go to school.

Horace Owiti Opiyo, 20, from Kibigori, Kenya, first noticed a cyst on his genitals when he was just 10 years old.

It is thought to have been caused by a mosquito bite releasing larvae that developed into parasitic worms that blocked Mr Opiyo's drainage system, resulting in his Instruments tissue swelling as fluid accumulated beneath the skin.

Teased by his classmates and unable to afford surgery, Mr Opiyo dropped out of school and became a recluse, convinced the devil had cursed him.

Yet, after a viral post on Facebook reached a local doctor, Mr Opiyo was finally able to have surgery to remove his massive growth.

He said: 'Now I can run and I can play football. Now I'm free! The next step I want to take is to get an education. Who knows what.

Joseph Oberhansley, charged with murder, rape and abuse of his 46-year-old Tammy Jo Blanton in September 2014, has been deemed incompetent to stand trial.


An Indiana man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and eating parts of her body isn't mentally competent to stand trial, a judge ruled Wednesday.

Clark County Circuit Court Judge Vicki Carmichael deemed 36-year-old Joseph Oberhansley incompetent after hearing testimony from three doctors who evaluated him.

Prosecutors allege that Oberhansley broke into the Jeffersonville home of his 46-year-old ex-girlfriend, Tammy Jo Blanton, in September 2014, and that he raped her, stabbed her to death and ate parts of her body.

Carmichael ordered the competency evaluations after defense attorneys Brent Westerfeld and Bart Betteau filed a motion in February saying Oberhansley wasn't able to participate in his own defense or fully understand the court proceedings.

He underwent several psychiatric evaluations, despite his insistence that he's competent for trial.

The prosecutor still intends for the case to go to trial eventually.

'He is suspicious, paranoid, uncommunicative, and agitated,' they wrote, saying there is a 'complete breakdown' in communication between them and Oberhansley, the evaluation reports by psychologists and psychiatrists.




Oberhansley is charged with murder, rape and abuse of a corpse.



If convicted, he could be sentenced to death.

The suspects were then taken to a cafe called Bibik Heritage, where Aisyah met a man identified in court as 'Mr Chang' who allegedly wiped a liquid on her hands before she carried out the attack.


The group headed to the clinic where Kim was taken after the attack and then to a taxi stand, where the women went after the alleged murder.

They also visited a toilet where one of the women had headed after the attack, and walked through a shopping area.

The prosecutor said the group had traced the routes taken by Huong, Aisyah and Kim on the day of the murder.

This is the moment two women on trial for murdering Kim Jong-un's half-brother were escorted by police around the airport where they allegedly poisoned him.

Huong, 29, and Aisyah, 25, are accused of killing Kim Jong-nam on February 13 by rubbing the nerve agent VX on his face in a Cold War-style hit that stunned the world.

Huong appeared unwell midway through the site visit while Siti Aisyah broke down in tears.

Former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama addressed a benefit concert for the victims of the recent hurricanes that have ravaged the southeastern U.S. as well as Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, an event from which current President Donald Trump was conspicuously absent.


Clinton and Obama were among the five living former presidents who appeared together for the first time since 2013 on Saturday.


Democrats Obama, Clinton and Jimmy Carter and Republicans George HW and George W Bush gathered on stage in College Station, Texas, home of Texas A&M University, putting aside politics to try to unite the country after the storms.
