Activity77: This people refused to give Africa total
independent, the crisis and disunity in
Nigeria today was caused by them, they are
the enemy of Africa progress, if you trace
this fool that's writing this column, you
will discover that he is a full time racist, they never want peace in Nigeria, they are
planning a revolution to enable them step in
to take Nigeria oil, they will motivate war,
they will supply weapons for us to kill
ourselves, they will sit with their families
in their large houses to watch it on television, Europeans and Americans are enemies of
Africa, that's why Africa is diverting her
partnership with Asia mainly China, because
for so many years we have been cheated by
the Westerners , war here and there in
Africa, caused by them to give them access to Africa Wealth, They are Lord of War to
us, we should avoid them 100%
its so heart broken that those who claims to be most educated people in this country never reason beyond their sense or is it the hatred they have for the president that have block their sense of reasonings, they believe anything from the western ppl why would one idiot from another country tell us to impeach one person out thousand ruling this country and the most educated ppl believe that will solve our problem overnite, one question i have for those who want the president impeach is after impeaching the president who will be the messiah to save us overnite,is it sambo, mark, aminu pls i want to know the messiah,we should always reason beyond our reading and writting we shouldn't think reading a full dictionary and writing a full novel is all the wisdom we gat. For that stupid idiot that called himself whatever We know he is only carrying out his duty by the western, they've predict Nigeria will disengrate in 2015 they're preparing soldiers for the break up to come 2015 but why are they so in hurry?why can't they wait till 2015?must they start fueling it now.

Are you sure the OP resides in Lagos. So if he doesn't reside in Lag, he would pay transport to Oja Oba to ask NURTW Chairman about SURE-P buses. Is it not better for a Nairaland member in that region to just reply his post?

By the way what of long distance travellers, no palliatives for them.

As it is said, "all na wash". wink
i just knew you are the same as the OP look for information i'm not a fan of any politician since i was born to this earth i have never one day que to register not to talk of voting but i hate it when some lazy frustrated fellow like the OP giving the country bad name just to have fun on internet,so if you think what the OP is doing is good then both of you can continue but if tomorow the white man tells you ur country is the most stupid country on earth you don't get mad cos the way you lay ur bed so shall you sleep on it.

Trojavirus: This is a nice topic but I don't understand, why the haste to criticise even before we get all the fact? A topic like this should research into before making our comment. Today we have more lazy frustrated computer literates and it is not helping anyone.
Apart from catching fun from teasing and making caricature, it will be very educative if we can cultivate the habit of get every fact right before making our criticism.
What is the nature of the scheme?, is it a loan or a grant? Who is eligible to access the loan/grant? Or will it be a form of a gift to agencies and department?
Honestly LAZY FRUSTRATED computer litrates such as this OP,some weeks ago this OP ask this question if you can see the way his fellow frustrated N'landers critizising and calling the president all sort of names without fact, for some weeks now this OP have the time and oppotunity to do some research to get the fact of the said buses but this OP choose to show his frustrated life for the second time and his fellow N'landers.the said buses have delivered to lagos early this year if i can remenber about 10-15 painted with red colour were parked at the front of the NURTW office at super/oja oba for some days early this yr,those plying oshodi-sango root can testify to this, its now been painted blue colour with FG MASS TRANSIT writen on it if you want comfirm this come to oshodi it ply oshodi to abule-egba 50 naira at-times 70 naira i entered one this morning i never knew this OP will come up with this thread again i could have snap one and post it here but its not late i can still do that,@ OP i don't know what you stand to gain by giving ur own country bad name on public forum like this many ppl around the world visit this forum daily, please always try to post positive things about this country, now go to the NURTW office at oja oba question the chairman Tajudeen agbede ask him did he recieve any bus from FG? if yes ask him were are they? were are they posted to?pls do this and give us feed back here,if you can't do this then you're worthy to be called a Nigeria.

Politics / Re: 2 Policemen Arrested For Okonjo-Iweala's Mother's Kidnapping by eyantotipe(m): 11:57am On Dec 13, 2012
ypzilanti: What are police officers doing guarding the mother of Nigeria's finance minister? Does this mean we have police officers guarding the parents of all cabinet members and senators in Nigeria? On Nigeria's pay roll?

The Law only allows police orderlies for Judges, Governors and deputies as well as Local government chairmen and Presidency. I wonder why no one is questioning this anomaly. The police even has the effontry to announce that they stationed police officers there permanently.

If the Local police is efficient and able to respond within 10 minutes to any emergency...as is the case in developed countries...there is no need to allocate police officers to individuals.

Many Nigerians do not understand how bad our police is compared to other countries.

In small towns in the USA, the police is very accessible and respond time is very fast. I once had police officers storm my house because i pressed the number 9 on my phone! Just 9! They said they came to make sure that I was not in trouble and someone prevented me from dialing 911!

Government should fund the Local Governments and give them power to have council police offcers too. We dont need to arm them, but we can train them in conducting investigation, information gathering, and minor law enforcement. afterall, police officers in England are not armed, but call for back up in dangerous situations. In Nigeria's case, these guys would have motorcycles, and bicycles and parade the local governments (where they are also residents) mixing with the people and gathering information.
May God bless you and continue to increase ur knowledge,in US you said but in Nigeria here it is opposite,a country were everybody its for itself greed and selfishness has eating down to the root,a country were high thieves and robbers are been celebrated,a country were one person steal one hundred billions naira,a country were mad person tie up himself with bomb to kill inocent children incurse of fighting for god,the youths have been mislead you can see them display their stupidlity here on NL,see my brother we need total re birth of this country i mean total re orientation we need ppl like you and me who have the knowledge and understanding ppl like you who have experience alot to start librating the young from this mentality, be it online,on radio,on tv we need to start doing something are we going to continue like this? Are we going to fold our hand and watch our future generation suffer the same faith?they will never forgive us if they do.

I still believe that a united nigeria is better than a divided one and that unity is the only antidote to the numerous problems facing Nigeria. If division occurred today, further divisions will follow. However, if unity is unattainble then division remains inevitable. Notwithstanding, if I am to choose btw united Nigeria and a divided one, I'll choose the former.
i also believe in united Nigeria but how do we unite with those northern muslims who believe their sharia law supercede any laws of the land,my brother true federalism will be the best option for us to choose, reduce power from center let every region control it resources so that every body can go back to his region for development.

That gateman's wife is probably doing some sort of petty trade and her children might also hustle because it is virtually impossible to feed your wife and children on $1 a day, that's $30 a month, nahhhh except they have a farm and they don't need to buy food that much.
that why i said you only say what you see around you, here in alagado area of ogun state most of their wife don't work they only depend on their husband and most of their wife are under age girls that were pregnated by mistake which revolve to by force marriage, most of the men are gateman, bricklayer, carpental and okada riders, like i said please get out of ur masion go out and investigate urself and stop making blind arguiment

Dipwater: Typing with tears ,it has been a long time I cried, too much killing in this cuntry .innocent looking children in the name of claiming hardman, wasted their lives unnecessarily.

My condolence to their parents, honestly I cant stop crying and I can't sleep.I read the whole comment from the beginning to the end in tears . I hardly cry ,even when I lost my father I didn't cry .the only thing that can bring tears to my eyes is hearing or seeing a yung person been killed becuz of an unverified crime .these are the leaders of tomorrow, they wouldve surely turned new leaf. Its a phase in their life while growing up .I don't think these boys are up to 27

If the boy that obtained my. Samsung phone then around 2003 culd repent and become a pastor. then their case is a minor (true life story) today I call him my pastor and he smiles. For those that justified. The killing remember wateva u wish ur fellow wuld mosdef come back to u. Oh gudness. Somebody shuld pls console me(as if they are my blood)

Nashville: We know these guys are all thieves but ate they the only ones? Before criticising them, will you reject the increase if you are one of them. Answer the question truthfully.

There are only two types of people in Nigeria- the corrupt and those waiting to be corrupt. That is the reason why these thieves can get away with it, because you all will make noise but in your hearts secretly hope you can be a senator too.

Politics / Re: Muslims In Jos Protest Film On Prophet Mohammed by eyantotipe(m): 11:46am On Sep 14, 2012
mbhs139: I have quieta number of post on this issue and I'm quiet disappointed by majority of comments. My basis of being disappointed is that I believe anybody that have the ability and resources to come to this forum should have at least been educated in some ways or the other. So, I'm more disappointed in most commentators ability to differentiate between religion and individual differences,

I'm a muslim and a public affair analyst. But I would like to view this issue with the public affair analysis training in me.

Although I've not seen the film in question, but the question that need to be asked is; what is the motive of the producers of the film, is it to blasphem agaist Islam, Muslims or Muhammed?

To the best of my knowledge and understanding, none of these may possibly be the answer.

Can someone somewhere possibly spend million of dollars, manpower, time and energy in producing a film for the singlelar reason of just portraying Islam and the Muslims in bad light? The answer, as far as I'm concerned is certainly No.

What then could have been the motive or objective behind this so called film about Muhammed or Islam? Believe me-you, it can be farther from economic reason. I guess you know at hand where I'm heading to. I honestly believe it can't be any other reason than for economic and perhaps political reason.

Why did I think so?

I'm quiet sure that the producers of this said film knew the implication and outcome of people's reaction to this film, particularly in the middle east, before sending it out to public domain. They knew the type and amount of riot and may helm that will result from the release and yet went ahead to do so. You will recall that this was the same thing that happened in similar event occured in Denmark some few years back.

In conclusion, the most probable reason for the production and release of the film is to give a dog a bad name so as to hang it. The producers knew quiet well the type of reception and reactio that will greet the said film and they knew what they want to achieve with it; an excuise to make incurssion into a territory under the pretext of protecting their interest. Don't forget that they are the makers of the Al-Qaeeda of this world in the first place. Or what other reason you do you think there could have been for them to enter Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and a host of others, if not under the pretext of looking for Islamic terrorist groups.

And for all those calling for The American drones into the Nigerian northern territory, I pray the affirmative is not the case. It will be palatable at the end, that's just putting it mildly.
Thank God for you as a public annalyist,do you realize that we Nigerians are not the one to answer your question?as a public annalyist will you come to the public to ask a qustion that will curse HAVOC and UNREST in your homeland were you have your family and love ones?PLEASE and PLEASE as a public annalyist we're beging you to PLEASE annalyse to your fellow muslims brothers that Nigerians are not the one that act the film and they should not go into unlawful killins and bloodshading of innocent Nigerians,am sure you have those you love and those that loves you becuase...IF WE SAY MAKE WE THROW STONE FOR MARKET IF FIT GO MEET.......................?you can fil that space..THANKS
