ezeugu, i dont think you are nigerian. Asaba or azagba was a refugee camp during the war, Can you see nigeria army distributing food. Do you see them wear biafra logo. No. get that into your head. Instead of your continue to ask me question, get your people to safety. we are trying to get our save into safety, my young man, we know our history and where we come from.
Again, what do you know about Delta state or its history? Who do you even know in Delta state for you to even know if some of them fought for Biafra or not? Were men not lined up by the Nigerian military in Asaba and shot? What do you even know about "Azagba" and Ahaba? Stick to your Yoruba empire and correspond with those that want to be ruled and overseen by your people, because Anioma is not the one, and has never been the one. I can speak with an Asaba or Agbor man in his native language, you cannot. I know the customs and taboo systems of all the Igbo communities to Agbor, you do not. Your online recruitment mission for Odua republic will stop at Benin, anywhere in Anioma is frustration for you and a waste of your time, because kam gwa kwa gi ugbua Anioma communities can't even join Edo state let alone Odua Empire. |
Bawss1:Failure of a thread filled with even more failures. |
Hmm. When will some people grow up. Seaport ko!
Can you explain to us how a seaport is childish? You do know there has been a seaport at Onitsha since the 1800s? EDIT: I didn't notice "seaport". asha 80:It seems like nobody knows what to comment so they complain about nothing. Challas:Are you complaining about uncompleted projects, or you talking about projects with no traffic? feelamong:Is it by force to comment? |
Owere and Port Harcourt are the places to be right now. Enugu needs people. |
Anymore buildings? |
ChinenyeN:You'll have to prove that. |
A lot of Japanese can look African or European, it doesn't mean they migrated over the Pacific. |
We have at least one on nairaland. |

There seems to be some demolition going on around the port, and there's a large sand mound next to it. nairaland, I bring to you the "abandoned" Onitsha River Port:
|
There's seems to trouble with understanding. |
Not all the dialects are intelligible, but most of them are and with experience someone can understand the other a little. |
There is no completed port, if you read, you will see that the deadline is October, and obviously all deadlines are not met. All we have is nothing from people with limited information. |
This is (one of) the cranes at the port as it was before the renovation: https://farm6.static.flickr.com/5264/5662755023_6f8c343a63.jpg This (one of) the cranes now: Doesn't seem abandoned to me, especially with the mounds of sand and construction crew infront of the actual port. So either 1 of 2 things has happened: 1. The river port hasn't been abandoned, is possible late, and the "newspaper" is full of shit, or 2. Someone had bought two replacement cranes, hired a construction crew, and suddenly abandoned the project. I'm glad Onicha port is recognised as a threat. |
Anyway, generally, the more experienced somebody is in one dialect, the more they can understand dialects that are different to the one they've learnt. As I said before, the dialects are not strictly defined in the words they use and a lot of places use a lot of different words. The place where people can get lost is when the words are rearranged in another dialect or extra words are added. |
where did you get that nonsense from. edo state and Delta state fought against biafra, they resisted the East or biafra, when biafra invaded edo and delta state. What nonsense are you talking about. they are going with us. dont worry, as long as they allow the united nation to conduct the vote.
Are they going with you before or after Anioma state is created? Also, what are you going to do about the other groups in Delta that are enjoying ruling a state such as Delta only to be lumped with the people who were ruling over them before state creation? You have a huge task on your hands, especially in convincing Anioma indigenes to be subjects of your Yoruba-Bini empire. By the way, do you even understand any language, culture, customs of Delta, or even Edo State? |
jason123:Uh, people from Delta State fought for Biafra. And Benin Republic being "the shortest lived country" would be enough to associate Edo and Delta with Biafra. In all, the poster you're replying referred to the "Niger Delta" which in fact has been cheated considering their fight against Biafra. |
At least, a full life. |
Who are those with no recognised kinship with Isu? |
I don't understand. |
I thought all Igbo people were Isu connected. |
Andre Uweh:It seems Okonko is more watered down in Imo than is Abia. see Oho Ebi with a woman by its side! In some places women aren't even allowed to see the masks. |
From Ogwashi to Arochukwu and then from Enugu to Owerri is where people find it easier to understand each other, the people on the outskirts have a harder time understanding everyone else. But the Igbo dialects themselves aren't strictly defined, people do say a lot of different things and some dialects are similar despite being miles apart. |
winpecheux:Delta North is marginalised because you are seen as Igbo people by other Nigerians. Why else is Anioma state being proposed. |
farleft, are you planning provisions for users to be able submit their own dictionary entries wich can be approved by moderators? It would broaden the dictionary. Also, do you have plans on expanding the website into other fields/updating it, like we have the web 2.0 looking http://dictionary.reference.com/ with 'words of the day', 'quotes', mini-encyclopaedias, or even links to other languages, and, importantly, links to social networking? If I were you, I would make a facebook page and twitter account as soon as possible if you haven't already. |
Can somebody give the correction? What was she supposed to say? |
I know African women shake their ass, that's why I didn't like Nigerian dancing for a long time. I actually prefered Caribbean dancing, like the moves you'd see the men doing, that's until I started seeing more Nigerian/African dances and saw where the diaspora got it from. Like the Zaoule dancing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ572yLH9sc (If you pay attention the masker does a "moon walk" ![]() The nyash shaking is appreciated. |
MsDarkSkin:You'll have to bring your Obeah man, I'll bring my Dibia to settle the matter. According to that video they speak the same language. |
MsDarkSkin:That will be a white sheep, two pigs feet and the fingernails of an unborn black parrot, thank you very much.
Not even that. Look at the bust of king tuts grandmother. The most afrocentric black person couldnt even think of this lol. Egyptians were black
A lot of the facial features are similar to those in the African Diaspora. saiyaman:Arabs didn't exist at their time (well while they were at the top). The people you should say are Persians and Mesopotamians, like the Sumerians and Babylonians (now Iraq). This is probably why they look like the African diaspora. |
koruji:But the real answer is no African Military Plane. |
