Meh, proxy dey. It's not like Nigeria has any technology, they can't even handle the 21st century necessity called electricity talk less monitoring the growing Nigerian internet.
CultureRe: What Is Reason Behind Bearing Names With Igbo Suffixes And Prefixes Among Igbo? by ezeagu(m): 6:26am On Oct 28, 2011
Igbo is a mysterious word no one really has explained well. I think it was present in all corners of Igbo land. Igbo is also much older than the word Yoruba, and possibly other names like Hausa and Fulani (Arabic?), and a lot of these names have no meaning in their languages. Igbo, however, seems to have come from the Igbo.
CultureRe: Are Ukwuani People Igbos(ukwuani People Please Talk) by ezeagu(m): 10:56pm On Oct 23, 2011
ogiye:
Ukwani people are not igbos. u all are getting it all wrong, know that the igbo spoken words (language) is called igbo. the ukwani laguage is called ukwani with the two language shearing some similarities but that does not make the two the same, clear? Agree, the english and french has some similitudes in lang and in culture; therefore will you say or ask if an english man is french? We (ukwani people) are not igbos, if we are igbos our greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgrandgrandgrandgrandgrandgrandgrandfather would have told us so!
So why didn't your great grandfather correct the British man that was calling him Igbo? Do we have record of Ukwuani people protesting against their Igbo label before 1960, because you do know every credible source mentioning Ukwuani identifies them as Igbo?
CultureRe: Alj Harem Studies On The Olukumis (old Yoruba Language) In Delta Ugbodu by ezeagu(m): 2:42am On Oct 23, 2011
What have you found out about the Olukumi so far?
CultureRe: Alj Harem Studies On The Olukumis (old Yoruba Language) In Delta Ugbodu by ezeagu(m): 2:34am On Oct 23, 2011
Just so some understand:

1. Olukumi is as relevant in Anioma as French Creole is in the United States.
2. Obi is not a corruption of Oba.
3. Agbor is not "more Edo than Igbo".
4. There are no Okukumi areas, no Olukumi speaking towns, no Olukumi named places in Anioma, only pockets of communities that are hardly heard of.

Good.

If this is tru then Peter Obi is a not-so-smart person. How so you explain bringing expatrates to fill the position of Nigerians. This is a slow way of thinking.

This is a very good finding. Keep it up.

No they don't.
I am from Igboland, and the truth is that since the arrival of motorized chain saws, ecologically protective trees are being cut down faster than new ones can be planted. Erosion and semi-arid desertification are direct consequences. Anybody who cuts down a major tree in an area should be made to plant 30 new ones of the same type and variety.
Some of our people erronously think that removing very old trees from the environment is equal to development. These tree protect from direct sunshine, strong winds/rain, they stablize the soil with their roots, and most importantly provide shade and homes for many animals.
People should learn about tree cool
"Igbos need to know how preserve Ala igbo"

"Yes they do, although it's not the region that has lost most trees, it's still very green despite the erosion in places."

How did you misread that?

Igbos will do well to learn form the tragic history of Easter islander: a small Pacific ocean land that survived for 1000s of years until they "discovered" how to cut down their trees with pick axes and saws. Today, they're extinct embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed
How is that relevant to Igbo issues?
PoliticsRe: Landslide Hits Enugu After Heavy Rainfall by ezeagu(m): 2:55pm On Oct 19, 2011
The problems of the South wes. . . . (forget that) Yorubaland are not the same as Igboland. I rarely have hatred for anyone (in my mind, hatred is enough to rejoice on the news of a persons death). I don't know enough about Fashola to like or dislike him.
CultureRe: Benin Art And Architecture by ezeagu(m): 2:50pm On Oct 19, 2011
The British made a mistake by destroying Benin, they should have occupied it like the Americans did Japan and then control it economically, but not politically (unless they need to). Leave its sovereignty. Benin would have grown and the British would have been making more money off the former Empire now than they really are (strong trade partner in Africa).

Benin would have probably developed like Japan because they had the same sort of values and government.

But aren't trees supposed to prevent landslides that are quite shallow instead of massive soil collapse or landslides?

Are you serous? Is this a trick question because the fact that trees prevents landslides and erosion is pretty much elementary?

Let me know if this is a joke or trick question before I waste my time.
Okay, it's elementary, so can you explain how it works?

And the same ignorant people are always quick to bad mouth tree planting when in fact they should be the ones planting trees to save the whole region.
Could you explain to us how that works?

So are Warri and Port Harcourts' port river ports?
PoliticsRe: Rivers State Declares Free Medicare For Residents! by ezeagu(m): 8:31pm On Oct 16, 2011
Port Harcourt roads, apart from the airport road and the alternate route are okay. The government of rivers should act on bad roads and not just wait for construction companies/contractors to fix them. The issue of roads aren't really relevant to this good development though.
