Its 2011 and some people are still worshipping certain governors just for cleaning their slums and doing their job. Nna Chai, sucks to be you .
I don't know why some people can't stick to deifying their governors or digging out their "semitic" past.

In accounts of them, the emphasis is on the foundation of dynasties and city-states. Thus, Oduduwa is presented as a dogged warrior who rebelled against Islam and traveled the great distance from Saudi Arabia to found the Yoruba nation

He traced the crisis bedeviling the country to what he called the forced amalgamation of the Northern and Southern protectorates of Nigeria in 1914 by the British colonialists.
Wasn't Northern and Southern Nigeria forced on the people anyway?

Ohuhu and Ngwa are traditionally linked if you have read Ngwa history. The Ohuhu were just in Bende division while Ngwa was in Aba division.
It doesn't make sense to me because i think Ngwa is distinct enough to be on their own, and I believe an average Ohuhu person finds an Ngwa person hard to understand.

Look at it like this: without Nri and Eze Nri there would be no Igbo culture as it is today, or even 'Igbo'. Without any other Eze, lineage, or any sort of other government, there would be no difference in wider Igbo culture. Who is the most important person in Igbo culture and religion? grin

I am not from a tribe.
But as for what you said, almost every Pidgin speaker uses Igbo words in daily life. Words such as "una" and "na" in Pidgin have their origins in Igbo.
Na as in is? No. But words like sọsọ, e don te (ọ [b]tele[/u]), where im de (ebe ole ka ọ di, una, and of course expressions like 'chei', I think.

Eze Nri and Eze Aro debate shouldn't even be a debate. Eze Aro had no single control over any other clan or town except Aro towns.
So how is he supreme to Eze Nri?

Because he kept waging wars here and there or because of slave trade huh
I think what some people are saying is that they will recognise Eze Aro before Eze Nri because they are from Aro.
