if you put a light skinned yoruba next to an equally light skinned igbo, most yorubas will consider the yoruba girl prettier. so to me, igbo beauty is really yellow pawpaw beauty. nothing else to it.
So all those Yoruba men marrying Igbo women are only marrying light ones? |
less curves in comparison to yoruba women. I thought this was common knowledge.
Uh, you said Igbo women are in beauty pageants because they're curve-less. |
Not surprised with the DNA expose, considering the fact that Igbos have been stealing babies for centuries and selling them through their recently discovered 'babies making factories', a place in various p.art of the eastern Nigeria, where children can be sold & bought like chickens. So kidnapping has been proved to be interwoven with Igbo culteres and equally dates back to as far as anyone could imagine? Another angular is that , those results goes to show the effects of the nation-wide prost*tutions associated with Igbo women in the country, particular how they choose to 'INVADE' most western part of Nigeria at tender age to make like living through the services they provided. Do you still wonder why 90% of local prost*ttutes are Igbo women? Just asking. . .
Still sucking on sour grapes. |
1. Eze Nri is the head of Igbo culture, a little more than just the king of nri. 2. Nri is not considered as the place where all Igbo people came from. 3. Eze Nri does not get involved in politics like other monarchies. 4. All the kings you posted are from towns that were directly or indirectly descended from Nri, hence are Nri sons. |
Swallowing stone without water means you really like rocks. |
or international beauty contests (where curves are non existent).
Oh, I see, can you give us examples of these curve-less Igbo ladies? |
Never heard it, money hungry, yes, hairy women, yes, light, yes, agressive, yes, strong, yes. The things you said, no. I think you're just twisting things you've heard as a positive for Yoruba people and subtracting it from Igbo people, like curves and height. |
That's political 20th century Ohaneze, we're talking about Omenala na i fe alusi. There's a reason they called Eze Nri and not Ralph Uwechue. |
other than that, some stereotypical igbo characteristics (flat head and shortness in guys, lack of curves and muscular body in women etc) are not desirable.
Apart from 'flat head' none of these are stereotypical Igbo characteristics, especially lack of curves. |
afam4eva:More like 'Ego Igwe'. |
Palmaboy:Do you know the name of your villages deity? Palmaboy:Tusha a tusha. It was a question. ifyalways:Eze Nri is historically more important than Eze Aro. The question was never about popularity. The important parts of Igbo religion and culture come from Nri. |
If the person doesn't understand the above, say: Ije nke í jèrè na mam, Ije nke í jèrè màrám. Or simply: Òtù í jèrè na mam. |
That he's the king of Igbo people? |
Laboratory comes from 'to work'. |
How many times does this happen in Nigeria. Side to think of how many comatose have been buried. |
Sun of god:It's from a post that claimed Ondo people are lighter. |
sbeezy8:I have no idea the sort of people you hang around with. |
sbeezy8:Most people in Nigeria disagree with you, so it's your own taste. |
Andre Uweh:In Igbo culture and religion, he is. |
There are more dark skin people in the Yoruba population than that of the Igbo. Obvious reasons why there will be more dark people in Yoruba movies. People going on like it's a choice. |
sbeezy8:. . . . and Igbo people are supposed to be the ones with a complex. Genevieve look like a monkey. |
namfav:I guess it reminded you of your smile? |
Here's a mind blowing one: Lab, Laboratory: ![]() |
STAUNTON — The Eze Nri, King of the Nri clan of Nigeria, will be visiting the Frontier Culture Museum on Saturday, July 30, when he will bless the Museum's Igbo Farm Village and its ritual objects.http://www.newsleader.com/article/20110725/NEWS01/110725012/Nigerian-king-visit-Frontier-Culture-Museum Ézè Ǹrì usually doesn't come out for anything, he's the most important man in Igboland, most people don't know this. Can this museum be a mini Mecca for Igbo in the United States? |

I guess Igbo people invented terms like Omo Pupa and Omo Dudu as classification for girls. |
This is what happens when people butt into conversations they were never a part of. |
