PoliticsRe: APC Leaders May Kill Jonathan Before February Presidential Election –Edwin Clark by Eziachi: 3:08pm On Dec 05, 2014
Clark has always been a thug, a divisive figure, who only look after number one, himself.
Jonathan should have distance himself from him long ago. I wonder how many votes he mudt have already cost him?
Every day it seems that most Nigerians are still in those warped junta mentality view of opposition as enemy.
Opposition is not meant to agree with the government 99% of the time. Unless you want one party state.

White man didn't need to feed you to realize that since Mugabe came to power, Nigeria has had 8 different leaders and maybe a 9th next February.

From the depth of your mind, would you suggest anyone you know to go to northeast nigeria now? Do you know how many nigerians are in every part of Zimbabwe? Don't confuse urself again, answer the above questions and ur problem will be solved.
Go and reread what I wrote. I said you cannot compare Jonathan incompetent as a leader and Mugabe deliberate murderous rulership in Zimbabwean.
Yes, Go and ask any legal professional or an employer of labour, they will tell you exactly that incompetence is not a crime, its shortcomings that be bridged with a sack.
In Nigeria, opposition is fairly vibrant, in Mugabes world, the word opposition can land you 6 ft under.
Anyone that idolized Mugabe has no business turning around to criticize Jonathan on any issue. If Mugabe is a hero, then Jonathan is Jesus Christ.

There is no country in Africa nigerians should be complaining about cos nigeria have it worse.
Jonathan inability to contain Boko Haram is due to his incompetence as leader, that is not a crime and at least you have the chance to vote him out.
Mugabe had murdered thousands of Zimbabweans outside his ethnic group, prominent opposition voices had disappeared without trace. He changed the constitution more than he changed his underpants.
Under Mugabe, the likes of Tinubu or Buhari will be dead or in jail by now.

Tell that to the marine. Having turned a once world food basket into a food begging nation, eliminating every varied opinion, including those that was in the bush fighting Ian Smith, disappearance or unexplained death of opposition leaders, trying to impose your illiterate wife as a leader over a tired nation, that is your idea of interest of the nation.
Comparing Jonathan to Mugabe is not only wicked but lack of class and reality.

PoliticsZimbabwe: Mugabe's Sexually Transmitted Power by Eziachi(op): 11:57am On Dec 04, 2014
No matter how illogical and moronic Nigeria political scene gets, you cannot imagine what is currently playing out in Zimbabwe at the moment ever happening in Nigeria, where power is being sexually transmitted between Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace.
First, she made academic history by obtaining a doctorate within three months.
Positioned herself as the ZANU PF. women wing leader by asking the incumbent to resign. Took a tour of the country advertising her self.

Orchestrated a campaign of clumsy against the current vice president Joice Mujuru, who she saw now as a rival.
Calling the mother of 5 and ex independent freedom fighter a prostitute, making jokes of her dress sense in public.
When that seems not working, she is now accused her of planning to overthrow Mugabe, using it to deny her being re-elected in the party congress this week and could be arrested any moment from now for treason along with anyone that is in opposition with bedroom transition with their ZANU PF.

The usual nonentity African first lady whose only made her way to power because she sleeps with president.
Something she started when Mugabes legitimate wife was still alive. This week, she is poised to succeed Mr Mugabe through a sexual transmission of power.
Yes it's happening in a banana republic called Zimbabwe.

Sometimes i want to weep for nigeria and its youths.Am even more suprised people keep rating GMB higher than kwankwaso,so of all the over 150m people in nigeria, the best person to rule is a frail 74year old man who has ruled nigeria in the past by ousting a democratically elected government to come and rule us again in the same democracy? SMH.
If you have problem with an ex soldier in a democracy of Nigeria, you should equally have the problem with David Mark, who was at the heart of all the coups in the 80s and 90s but today your senate president.
If Reagan ruled the United States for two terms when he was much older than Buhari, I don't see why not for Nigeria that is not difficult to run.
Another U.S president Dwight Eisenhower was an ex general in the U.S army and happens to be a great president. Winston Churchill, regarded as one the best British prime ministers was equally an ex soldier.

I am not recommending, asking you to vote for Buhari or telling you that he is the best candidate, but your above sentiment makes no sense and has no root with facts.
And their was no truth in this expired propaganda that Buhari overthrew an elected government. No he didn't. Go and ask likes of Babangida, David Mark, Abubakar Umar, Tank Ayuba, Lawrence Onoja, Ike Nwachukwu, Dogonyaro etc, they will educate you on how they overthrew that government as the likes of Abacha are dead.
PoliticsRe: Why Buhari Will Get Less Than 1% Igbo Vote by Eziachi:
Curlieweed:
I don't understand where the "eggs in one basket" came from. There are 5 SE states. One APC, one APGA and 3 PDP. How is that all your eggs in one basket. The SE even has an apeeshit Presidential candidate. I don't understand why people regurgitate non-factual statements and propagate them without doing a simple sense check.
APC is only a few months old, hasn't won even a wooden spoon in Igboland. APGA are now inconsequential after the demice of Ikemba, they are now a co-joined twin to the PDP. I will believe you when they field their own presidential candidate.

Some time ago, we were hearing that the Igbo were marginalized because they were not "united", now some retards are saying they are exhibiting "herd mentality". How does "lack of unity" and "herd mentality" compliment each other? This is just an example of contradictory, "anything goes criticism". Some simple minded slowpoke comes up with these daft statements and the unsuspecting repeat them until they assume a life of their own.
Anyone telling you that were not united are those fantasy Nigerians. Igbo as a nation are united. I fought for that notion here on Nairaland for many years and I am glad that stereotype has died down. Unity doesn't mean acting like robot. I am with you on that one, except that marginalization of Igbo politicians is different from that of ordinary Igbo folk. Them being marginalized is simply their personal political appointments.

For the record, Buhari is a fundamentally flawed candidate. If you forget about the propaganda and look at his actual record, there is no way he should even get 1% of the votes in the entire country. Just take a look at the way he has been tying himself into knots trying to explain the source of funding for his quixotic presidential wild goose chase. "It was a bank loan". "No, it's crowd funding". I just hate hypocrites. Yet, everyone knows that huge sums of money simply grew wings and vanished every time he was trusted with a position. And the imbec.ile keeps bleating "kwarauption, kwarauption".
I am ready to look at your fact about Buhari that I don't know. If you have them present them. Unless the word "FLAWED" has changed, if not what are those flawed except the one politicians made up and many of you jumped on the band wagon. If you think that hsi claim for a bank loan is not true, present alternative to contradict him.
I hate hypocrites too but you can't call someone hypocrite just being blant about it. I don't give two fingers either about Buhari or Jonathan as an Igbo man. What I hated, is some politically naive Igbo people for sake of their personal greed or lack of knowledge start tying Jonathan destiny with that of Igbo nation. Vote for Jonathan if he is a good leader by your estimation, by all means but iGBOS do not owe Jonathan anything. His presidency is his personal ambition, got nothing to do with our present or our future. Period.

What do you mean by notable? Just because they are fed by taxpayers doesn't make them notable. What makes you think that they are more important than me and you in Igboland?
99.9% of them never fought for our interest, whether in war or in peace time. You think that APC will give you their ticket in a platter just like that, when some of you takes turn to call the likes of Rochas, Amaechi or Ngige all sorts?

@Eziachi there is no way Buhari will lead a united Nigeria. You need to know this, considering your age. Even if we lost the war, a serious candidate who want to be president should not be talking about it. That's courtesy and respect to the over 3 million killed souls.
Its not even about Jonathan, perhaps if APC could field a candidate with general acceptabily across zones then you could have a point. All notable igbo sons will ensure Buhari doesn't win, atleast in the south.
What has my age got to do with this discussion? My problem is why some of you are busy taking medication for another persons illness?
If Jonathan is a fellow Igbo like me and you, I will understand where some of you are coming from, purely because of Nigeria brand of politics. But honestly I don't get it.
Look at the Yoruba and what happened in Ekiti recently, that will tell you that they put their eggs both in PDP and APC, just in case. Never mind what some writes on Nairaland, not all of them sleep with APC.
Look at the north, the same scenario, take a look at our neighbours and reflect on the recent APC rally in Akwa Ibom, the same scenario too.
Why do some of you took it upon yourselves to turn an Ijaw man's presidency and personal ambitions and aspirations into an Igbo problem?
It doesn't make any sense.
This is not even about Buhari, because Jonathan can still win but what happens after his presidency, if you now mortgage your future around his?
I want you to coherently explain it to me. Maybe you knew something I don't.
Sorry to burst your bubble but winners never stop reminding the other side. The British takes every opportunity to remind the Germans, that they won the war even though Germany is better than them now economically. Do I like that? No! But that is fact of life.

All this rubbish some of you have beclouded your heads with, what happened if this guy is to win or rig out Jonathan next year?

When and how did God made this promises? I thought that his son thought that you pray for only your daily bread? How does a daily need equates to all these so called prosperities and riches or was it a question of telling greedy people what they wanted to hear and they fell for it?

Now do you have anything to say against it?
So that is your evidence? A hungry Nigeria Cleric urging Jonathan to call Mr Buhari to order over statement credited to him?
Do you understand the meaning of the word CREDITED? Credited information is a second information, not a quotation of fact. The cleric by using the word credited was referring to what he had read to be said, not what he witnessed being said. It's the same as referring to a rumours he heard or read about.
The credit of the ill informed cleric was alluding could equally be the one Ruben Abati started but found himself in a legal hot water and not only retracted but apologized.
Look at the date of your evidence. It was 2012 while the so called statement was pre election (2011). Does that make any sense. It's like forecasting an already played game.

To the first century Jewish Christians few experiences it in order to spread the good news to foreigners like the Ethiopians in Jerusalem. That was purpose of speaking on Pentecost day recorded. And later it became no part of Christianity by God through the order of apostle Paul Christian. Today it's more to do with occultism than Christianity.

Back your argument with facts, for example show us a transcript of the day and the event or interview where Buhari made such a stetment. Shows us something to prove that Abati and Guardian did not retract their publication and apologised to Mr Buhari as stated by the poster.

No matter what happened, it's not their fault. You cannot switch off like that about kids you have adored all their lives and suddenly abandoned them. Am sure that when emotion calm down that he will regret his own action.
It's a test of character for him, he should not allow emotion to overcome his sense of reasoning. I can only imagine how he feels.

I cannot imagine such a betrayal. But returning the kids to anyone is like a punishment to the innocent kids that called you and had known you as their dad all their lives for something they are not a party to.

I know a lot of emotional stuff he must have gone through but punishing the children is as bad as the adultery that produces them.
You don't have to share a DNA with someone especially under this circumstances to be a father to them.
My only beloved daughter was adopted from an orphanage when she was just six months old. And today she is still one the best things that has happened to my wife and I.
